The Val Atlantic Hotel is located on the seafront of Cabo Branco, the noble district of the capital of Paraíba, characterized by its beauty, tranquility and security. A few meters from the easternmost point of the Americas, the hotel is surrounded by a privileged landscape, between the cliff covered with Atlantic forest and the warm and calm waters of the Cabo Branco sea, ideal for bathing.

Sinceramente acho que o hotel está passando por uma crise financeira pois ao chegar no primeiro quarto que tinha reservado todas as paredes mofadas, minha esposa se sentindo mal diante do cheiro de mofo no quarto. Solicitei a recepção a transferência para um outro quarto semelhante e Educadamente o recepcionista me encaminhou para um outro quarto de número 302. Acontece que ao chegar no quarto encontrei pelo menos umas oito baratas entre o quarto e o banheiro, filhotes de baratas por todo canto inclusive conversei com o rapaz da recepção e o que pude fazer foi ir no mercado comprar um Bagon para matar baratas. Os travesseiros também estavam sujos com cheiro de usado, o hotel tem uma excelente localização tem tudo pra ser um bom hotel mas infelizmente está caindo aos pedaços. Para se ter ideia ao abrir a porta do elevador na garagem (no subsolo) durante todo o final de semana tinha uma barata morta que ninguém veio recolher durante todo o período que estivemos lá. Sobre o ponto positivo, o café da manhã muito bom!

Fiquei no quarto mais simples no térreo. Quarto bonito, mas como vi inseto e lagartixa com um dia de estadia, imagino que tem esse problema com a limpeza. Piscina e deck lindos! Informação importante: fica no fim da praia, bem longe da maior concentração de restaurantes e quiosques (cerca de 4 km). Acho que deveria ter mais lençóis também.

Os funcionários são muito educados, o hotel tem grande potencial, mas a limpeza deixa a desejar, cafe da manha com poucas opções e bagunçado, em um dos dias nao havia mesa limpa ou sequer pratos. A limpeza é um ponto relevante a ser melhorado. Isolamento acustico ruim, a cama é desconfortavel, lençóis e toalhas velhos e manchados.

Chegamos dia 1/1 e o hotel estava cheio, entendemos a alta temporada, porém as toalhas mal davam para se secar de tão fininhas. Só um detalhe que pode melhorar!

O café da manhã com super lotação de hóspedes, poucos funcionários para retirar as louças usadas e repor comidas. Pão estava murcho. O café da manhã é um pouco limitado em variedade, algumas comidas não me pareceram ser novas, principalmente os pães e bolos, não sei se são comprados de parceiros ou feitos lá. A limpeza do quarto é ok, apesar de ter achado alguns fios de cabelo no chão, a roupa de cama estava limpa e cheirosa. A tv não é smart, então não consegui usar muito nos momentos de descanso. O diferencial realmente parece ser os funcionários, que são sempre muito gentis.

Stained pillowcases. I requested more to put over the existing cases so at least I knew they were clean, but they were still old and stained. Dirty, smelly, disgusting minibar that was impossible to use. Luckily you can't smell it in the photo. No hand soap in the bathroom, only shampoo in the shower. The majority of the guests seemed to be trades people and workers. Nobody knocked to offer to service the room so I had to take my rubbish to the staff member. I complained about the minibar. I then decided that I could not stay here so I checked out after 2 nights and forfeited the remaining 2 pre-paid nights in favour of moving to a much nicer hotel.
I calmly explained my decision to the reception staff who told me that it was non-refundable but they could offer me a room change - I imagine all of the rooms are dirty - or a credit note - why would I ever come back here? Someone who I assumed was the manager was hiding out of sight in the office, but he never made an appearance. He only spoke to the receptionist to tell her what to say but did not speak to me in person. In other words, there's nothing we're prepared to do. It's non-refundable. Their attitude was disgusting, just like their minibar.
If you want to stay in Cabo Branco, the Icon hotel next door looks much nicer, and there's an Ibis next to that. Nicer and cleaner hotels do exist, and probably with better customer service.

O quarto precisa de uma reforma, várias manchas de infiltrações nas paredes, armários do banheiro descascando, entre outras coisas. A localização é boa beira mar perto de alguns restaurantes.

Chego ao hotel recepcionista nada simpático me colocou em um quarto que ao entrar o ar não gelava, que o secador foi tirado para manutenção...fui usar o telefone para ligar na recepção e o mesmo não funcionava. Falei no WhatsApp e só atendem em horário comercial. Como pode não atender se tem gente na recepção, ele não podia responder? Lençóis com mancha, colchão ruim, o que resultou em noite de sono péssima. Toalhas com mau cheiro tipo o salgado Baconzitos, e manchadas.
Abri o armário para colocar camisas.
A impressão é que o quarto não havia sido limpo para receber hospede.

Quando cheguei o quarto tinha cheiro de pano molhado, além disso não colocaram papel higiênico no banheiro, falei na recepção sobre isso pela manhã e quando cheguei à noite ainda não tinha sido colocado o papel. Tive que ir novamente pedir, e só assim disponibilizaram. Tirando isso, o quarto é confortável, bem espaço, o café da manhã é gostoso e fui muito bem recepcionada tanto pelos atendentes quanto ao pessoal da cozinha.

Estivemos outras vezes no Val Atlantic e gostamos, mas notamos nessa última estadia uma queda significativa na qualidade dos serviços de quarto: lençóis, travesseiros e toalhas velhos, não tão limpos e mau cheirosos.
Um pena porque o hotel é muito bem localizado e sempre prestou um bom serviço, não sei se a falha está na administração atual.
Espero que voltem a dar importância à limpeza que é item básico em qualquer acomodação.

Reforma sem planejamento, transtorno para hóspedes
O hotel está passando por uma reforma e não houve nenhum tipo de planejamento sobre como isso afeta a experiência do hóspede, deixando um ar de desleixo por parte da gerência. Pessoas transitando descalças e sujas de resto de obra, quartos abertos e mostrando a total bagunça. A área de piscina povoada de por pessoas trabalhando em horários onde deveria estar livre para quem quisesse utilizar. A única coisa positiva foi o café da manhã e o atendimento da recepção. Infelizmente uma decepção. Fiz a reserva confiando nas últimas avaliações e quando cheguei foi muito aquém das minhas expectativas.

Controles com pilhas fracas, e assento de vaso que não fica levantado, a arrumação deixou a desejar pois não colocaram toalhas de rosto e tapetes no banheiro, havendo necessidade de solicitar.

A localização é top, o atendimento muito bom. O café deixa a desejar, faltam itens, e em alguns momentos o espaço lota, em 3 dias faltaram itens da cozinha como queijo coalho por exemplo, num dos dias faltaram frios básicos (mussarela e presunto), a máquina de café também esteve quebrada, utilizaram garrafas térmicas nem sempre tinha disponibilidades, os quartos assim como o hotel precisa de algumas reformas, mofos, infiltrações, paredes sujas, fios expostos são coisas que dá pra arrumar se tiver boa vontade e interesse. O enxoval também merece atenção, toalhas velhas batidas e encardidas, algumas nem dá pra usar. A piscina muito boa assim como a área social, o atendimento dos funcionários é um ponto alto do hotel, mesmo com suas limitações tentam ajudar. Sou um hospede frequente do hotel e torço pra que os superiores entendam as criticas dos hospedes e considere como uma critica construtiva, buscando melhorias para uma experiência maravilhosa, uma vez que a tarifa que cobram para o que entregam, deixa muito a desejar.
