I would definitely stay here again.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff were very professional and quick to get me checked in, and then throughout my stay, were consistently very helpful, quick, and professional in addressing my requests. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The room was spacious, and the views were wonderful. The location is also good. If I had one complaint, it would be that the windows needed to be cleaned from the outside, but my stay was during a very dusty time of year in Kuwait City.

Received a nice upgrade albeit a few problems with shower drainage that was very promptly addressed.

Overall very comfortable and lovely staff.

Bathroom can do with bit more cleaning, not to say it was very dirty.

Homely hotel. Bit dated but gets the job done comfortably. Lovely staff, could have been a bit more flexible in the one breakfast i had on my first morning when i asked for it to be deferred to the secimd morning (only had 1 night out if 5 with free breakfast). Shower a bit messy but tolerable.
Overall satisfactory and well located next to2 major malls and heart of business district.

Does the job nicely. Bit dated, the room the gym the facilities, but in good condition. Bathroom shower bit messy yet manageable. Staff helpful. Stayed 5 nights only first of which had breakfast included, asked for that breakfast to be postponed to the next day yet flexibility was granted on the matter. Otherwise everyone was helpful and cooperative.

Besides the fact that there was bot of construction going around which made it noisy, the property itself was quite nice. The staff was friendly and the views from restaurant on the top floor were quite nice. They even let me do a late check out when I told them that my flight was very late and also gave me some tips on what to do in Kuwait City. Getting taxis using Careem app was very convenient and easy . The room was spacious with tea/coffee/hot water kettle provided. Wifi was good too

I was very happy with the customer service and communication from hotel staff, everyone was polite and made me feel very welcome especially as i was stranded due to situation of Corona virus airport lockdown so i moved here after my airbnb ran out and had to find accommodation for a further 2 weeks at short notice.

Me and my wife had a very pleasant stay. I have to say that because of the not so high daily room rates my expectations were not that high, but I was proved totally wrong. Our room was spacious and clean and we had a lovely view overlooking the Kuwait Towers. There was nothing special in the surrounding area but it was safe and only a short taxi ride to most places in downtown Kuwait City. Breakfast was plenty with good choice. Breakfast room is on the 22nd floor and offers great views. The two gentlemen at the reception went above and beyond to deal with all our requests and answer our questions. They were both genuinely kind and extremely helpful. I wish I could remember their names because they deserve a lot of credit for the excellent job they do.

The air conditioning was far to cold,the cleaners kept leaving it on even thou it wasn't hot.
The showers were very poor, the shower kept fluctuating from hot to cold.
The breakfast wasn't great,no bananas throughout the 5days I was there even though I asked.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE, AT THE TIME OF CHECK IN THEY CHARGED ME 33 DOLLARS EXTRA. I ALREADY PAID ONE EXTRA CHILD (TWO ADULT AND ONE KID) AT THE TIME OF BOOKING. BUT THEY SAID I DID NOT. I SHOWED ALL THE PAPER WORK BUT THEY REFUSED TO BELIEVED. FINALLY I HAVE TO PAY $33.

Its nice hotel and for me its pretty good cuz there is a close so small grocery store and many close restaurants. Its also close to Marina mall and the famous street “ Gulf street”. THE BREAKFAST IS BAD AND OLD FASHION BREAKFAST. I stayed 3 days I just tried once then never come back. But overall pretty good location and price.

Very bad turn of events

From the check in to check out it was a very bad experience. They didn’t put me the king size bed I booked, they changed the carpet on my corridor which meant to whole place was smelling of gasoline and other toxic fumes. Then the phones went off for around 24 hours which meant I couldn’t order room service.

The only good thing about the hotel was the breakfast and location, everything else was a disaster

Booked the suite, aside from the size there was nothing suite like about it. Bathroom was small, tiles and decor were ugly and the sofas in the living area were uncomforrable. Also there were no option for two beds.

Easy walk to Souq Sharq.

Staff were very helpful. Checked out early, but had a long wait for my departure time from the airport,. The manager allowed me access to my room to be more comfortable while I waited. Very grateful that this was done, without charge.

WORST HOTEL I STAYED IN EVER IN MY LIFE

PLEASE DON'T STAY HERE !! STAY AWAY!!!

First when i arrived the hotel looked good and saw the ratings thought it was good. The hotel looked good and room big enough but first thing AC was not working the whole day and the worker told me just change the weather on the ac it will work didnt work after i called them . stayed all night without AC. Then heard all noises the whole night the indian worker was fixing it without telling me instead of saying it doesnt work he went and tried to fix it without me knowing and there was all noises the whole night couldnt sleep. suddenly woke up at 3 am my wife had all itchy skin and redness, and i noticed my hand swollen and itchy yea BED BUGS . They looke clean but no very dirty i told them they didnt care at all and stayed that way till moring after 4am the AC worked after having a terrible nightmare day in this hotel . IF YOU WANT HELL THIS IS IT IN THIS HOTEL. Very upset and shocked didn't expect that coming. PLUS THE SHOWER WATER VERY HOT VERY VERY couldn't even take a shower

The breakfast was wonderful plus it had an excellent view! This hotel was also close to the Souk and Kuwait Towers. Only downside was the pool closing at an early 8pm and it had too much chlorine (it affected my breathing, so I had to shorten my swim). I suspect I had used the pool just after it was treated.

I arrived at 11 and the check in at 3pm so I told them I'll come later to proceed. So I went at 4pm and let me wait till 5 so they can clean the room and they downgraded me to a lower room while they want to charge me the upgraded room I originally booked. Terrible costumer services and never going back. All there were caring for was the rate of the night and were negotiating to keep the upgraded room price while keeping the downgraded room to stay on for the night

Close to mall, but not quite right

My sister-n-law came to town for the Gulf Bank Marathon. From the beginning we received less than standard service from the staff. Obviously we could not supply a marriage certificate since we were not married (since thats what 2 people of opposite sex with different last names have to have to stay together), so the hotel realized that a non-married man and woman were staying in the same room they had major issues. They offered 2 separate rooms for twice the price and were appalled when I asked if it was for 2 rooms at the same price. Finally I was able to talk them into allowing us to stay in the same room, but the amount of hassle and the embarrassment I received at the front desk and lobby were ridiculous.

The hotel staff gave my room key to strangers and I was awakened to people sneaking into my room at midnight. It was terrifying. The hotel staff member who gave my key was very unhelpful and horrible to me about it. I very seriously doubt it was an accident. I was told I would get a refund for one of my two nights - but I was only refunded partially.

Processing was slow.
Room was cold, but it is was not easy to control temperature and there was no heater. Opening windows was not possible, because outside was full of bird's dung.
Breakfast was not good.
Internet connection was almost impossible in the room even if there was WiFi.
There was smell on the towels.

Seems to be a recently built hotel, close to Souq Sharq. The streets around the hotel and somewhat run-down, but that's typical for this part of Kuwait City. Not too many mid-range hotels in the neighborhood. There are a few cheap eateries under the Behbahani building, and Hamra Tower is nearby. The room is spacious, the lobby is elegant, and the food is superb. The cafeteria is also really nice.

It was a business trip and I booked it for the first time as the regular hotel was completely booked. I was quite skeptical in the beginning but was pleasantly surprise when I arrived at the hotel. It was big, clean and quite nice. The room is huge and basic facilities are all there. Definitely worth the price.

New Hotel, EXCELLENT staff.

The staff at this hotel is amazing. Every single one I had the pleasure of coming in contact with did everything with a smile and was more then efficient in getting the job done, from housekeeping to the restaurant staff to the front desk. I had left a small container at the dining hall and not only did the gentlemen not throw it away, but he himself brought it to my room. I thought that really nice. One day we had leftovers and the gentleman heated it for us. Exiting my room the lady who worked housekeeping greeted me as if she'd known me for years. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The room decor is modern. The beds are huge and really comfortable as well. Although they only had about 3 English channels it was the largest flatscreen TV I'd had in a hotel. My children grew tired of watching the all Arabic children's channels fast but not to worry as the heated swimming pool (It's winter and yes it's cold) and children's playroom were a welcomed alternatives. I have two children 4 yrs apart and they both were happy to play there. The playroom has a TV to watch and also a Playstation. The breakfast selection wasn't expansive but it did the job. It's mainly an Arab style but they did have an egg dish everyday and alternated between pancakes and French toast which was nice. All in all, I'd return.

The service was great, the room was big, the wifi was fast, and the cable TV options were plentiful. Breakfast is at the top of the tower for a good view. It's a pleasant walk to the Kuwait Towers landmark, and not far from the town center. And there are a number of good restaurants within a few blocks.

Slight minuses: there are no non-smoking vs smoking rooms, many people there smoke, and you can tell the effect in at least 2 rooms I visited. Also, the breakfast is somewhat repetitive if you stay for several days; I think there should always be 1 or 2 items that change from day to day.

City Tower was a great place to stay and value for money, which can be hard to come by in Kuwait.

Normal renewed hotel close to many resturants

It is maximum 3 star Hotel. It is old but renewed hotel. It has some good facilities such as the swimming pool & the Suna.
Unfortunately it does not have steam room.
Usually in other 4 or 5 star hotels, every things are available while in this hotel You have to ask and fight for every thing otherwise you will not get it such as the towels at the swimming pool and the cleaning bag in the room, ...

Really nice rooms, good staff, efficient check in & speediest check out I ever encountered - really great.
One small flaw - the doors in the rooms can slam rather than shut quietly - doesn't sound like a big deal, but there's tiles everywhere & the sound echoes so someone arriving in a room closeby late at night is heard down the corridor. I would imagine it could be fixed easily.
Apart from that it's a great hotel - didn't get to use the leisure center but it looks nice

Everybody in the hotel were extremely nice and welcoming. From Mahmoud who checked me in at 3am (I turned up 12 hours too early!) to Anura who saw me out two weeks later. Just lovely people. Will stay again.

Growing pains

This is a relatively new hotel. As such there were some issues. The window when closed made squeaking noise as the winds picked up outside. Very annoying. Breakfast selection was ok. Nothing spectacular. The hotel was located close to some Western shopping and restaurants. I would only recommend this for those looking for a quick visit.
