Great customer service. The room was clean and all pictures are pretty much the same. The breakfast was amazing. The food at the lounge was good especially their signature burger and fairly priced. Location is great close to airport and a city star mall which was handy for the last day as Cairo can have very bad traffic. Overall really enjoyed my stay

Great staff, nice rooms. We stayed one night at beginning of trip, all good. Stayed 3 nights at end. First night A/C didn’t work so they moved us next two. All good. Food was pretty good and if you like a glass of wine or cocktail this is the place. Would stay again

The room booked was including breakfast , instead of working with expedia , the staff just wanted to grab money.

Expedia clearly sold the rooms with breakfast but thier support guaranteed a solution , even after checkout and unjustly paying for breakfast everyday , there is no solution except the customer both hotel and expedia are happy

There was an incedent regarding internet and no efforts at providing wifi alternatives

This was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Would not recommend this at all. The food was terrible, the rooms don’t look like they did in the pictures on the web.

They were renovating and we had timber fall from the ceiling which they did not apologise for when it hit us.

This hotel was just amazing. The room was super nice, the bathroom was very clean and breakfast was full of options! It locates close to a giant shopping center which opens until midnight and I didn’t feel unsafe to walk back to the hotel around 12am.
I think this hotel deserves higher scores of reviews!!!!

Great hotel in Safe Location

This hotel was very pleasant and made our trip to Egypt memorable. The staff was great, the roombclean and the breakfast buffet terrific. It is in a safe environment which is paramount in Egypt. We were here as a member of a tour group and happy they chose this hotel as our base. There are a half dozen restuaurants adjacent to the hotel grounds which made it very convenient.

The location was very good but staff they don’t care I have to ask for towel many times and sometime room service dont answer the phone and never call back if I need to eat at night

My room heater was not working. After letting them they said they will look for it. We had to call 7-8 times. Each time we were told we will be given a new room. Finally got a new room on next day.

Also each day the rooms comes with 2 tiny small water bottle. They kindda force people to buy water from their restaurant at high price. This kind of cheap things is not acceptable from big hotel.

I was booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child (2 years old), once reach the hotel there was no baby coat available and the room was small, so if was difficult to put extra bed for the child.
Toilet seat was broken.
Documents safe was not working, asked to send some one to repair it, they sent the technician after two hours after so many calls.
I was requested the Medical Lap to send me someone to the hotel to do the PCR test for travelling, but the receptionest didnt allow to the lap technician to go to me room altough they called me and asked to let home come to my room to do the PCR test for ma and my family, he kept rejected till I went down and met Guest relation manager anr explaned to him all the bad situation which i face since i checked in, then he allowee to the lap technician to go with me to the room after delaied him for more than 30 minutes.
Once did the check out, the trolley man who toke the leggages from the room to the reception area broke one bag.
Finally the hotel having hotel Taxi, they charged to dropped me to the airport 6 times more than Uber charging.

The service at the restaurant was terrible!
I had to wait 30 minutes for a waiter to order.
After 30 minutes i had to go by myself to the bar to order
The order came after 45 minutes incomplete!!!
from the 4 items i ordered, only one came to the table.
When I asked for hand sanitizer, the waiter was steering at me like I was an Alien.
Then another 30 minutes to pay the bill so I went to the bar again, and I had to pay for the Items they never served me.
In the mid time, more costumers was arriving, but the waiters was busy talking to their mobiles or chatting together.
Some of them left the restaurant angry, some others went to the bar to order.
A lady asked for sanitizer, and the staff made her angry so she left as well.

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, the security was not. The security at the door running our bags through the xray machines were aggressive and rude and the parking valet would not let me as a guest wait with the driver at the front for another guest

Everything was normal when we arrived and staff were helpful. Unfortunately, a gift I bought for my wife was stolen from our room by the housekeeper and it really ruined everything, our stay and our trip. When we brought up to the management, we did not get the response that we were looking for and they just kept bouncing us around to different personnel until we got the message clear and loud that they are not going to help. It was disappointing experience especially from a 4 star hotel and hotel that is owned by the military.
The menu of the room service was limited. I suggest they provide microwave inside the rooms especially the suites.

No complaints. Gym and Spa close at 10 PM and opens at 9 AM, not convenient for a business traveller who spends time during opening hours doing Business. GYM Should be open up to 12 MIDNIGHT and open earl morning say 5 am, to allow Business travellers access before leaving hotel for their business

Modern hotel, but looks as though smoking is allowed in the rooms. Ours did not have much odor of stale cigarette smoke. Housekeeping was unreliable (no towels one day). Breakfast buffet is excellent. We bought the hotel's entire stock of tonic water in just two days.

Great business stay in the TOLIP Golden Plaza

Overall the hotel was superb! It was great to enjoy an Egyptian birthday, even if at a distance.Breakfast was a good buffet, plenty of choices and the service really appreciated.
There was only one problem and that a small one, but it’s best to be honest, the shower - overall fantastic- had the drain at the wrong end of the inclined floor in the wet room. Small thing, but it should be corrected to make the place perfect.

Location is perfect, very central it’s close to everything. Hotel is very clean and exceeds expectations, also spa facilities available for extra charge. Over all very satisfied and there’s restaurants underneed the hotel. There’s a big shopping centre 10min away, the airport was not far away either. Staff all knew English which made it easier to communicate.

Worse hotel I have ever stayed!

One of the worse hotels I have stayed. This hotel can’t be 5 stars hotel.
This is a military hotel and not 5 stars.
Hotel.com should remove the hotel from the website.
Reception desk , room service are one start hotel not 5!
No bars or alcohol in the hotel.
Not recommended at all and I will file a complaint to hotel.com regarding this hotel.
I fly twice a month with work and so far this is the worse experience I have ever had.
