The shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom were empty. They are the large pump bottles and attached in the shower. I contacted the front desk and was told that it would be taken care of. It was not. I am handicapped and was told that I would have to park in the garage. Most hotels advise the guest at check in that a hold will be placed for incidentals. This hotel placed the hold but I was never verbally told that a hold was being placed nor the amount. I have stayed at this property since it opened many years ago but after this stay I think that I will not return. It is still nice but the customer service has degraded quite a bit.

We stayed the night on our way to see our family in Virginia. Parking was a bit of a challenge and we ended up having to pay extra to park. The pool was dirty and not inviting but the rest of the hotel was very comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay there again.

The only issue we had was parking. The parking garage couldn’t accommodate our truck and we had to circle the block several times until we found a meter. Luckily the meters were free when we stayed. Not sure what would have happened had we had to pay for one.

Toilet light switch turned on both toilet light and light that lit room... Awkward at night. One of the shower doors was locked stationary so reach to shower controls was distant and awkward. Room was behind elevator and heard dings during night. Check in staff was excellent.

My arrival was scheduled for a 4 o’clock check-in and they did not have a room ready for me till 545. They had no carts available at first to get my belongings to my room. They had no porters to help me get my things out of my car and onto a cart and I am handicapped, and there was only one handicap spot and I had to push a cart finally onto an elevator by myself to the sixth floor get it off, maneuver it down a narrow hallway and thank God one of the maids saw me struggling and helped me do that they have no porters available. The parking garage was dark and no security available, which may not bother some people, but since I was an older woman traveling alone I did not feel safe in the garage.

We liked the location. A lot of places within walking distance. When we arrived were checked in, given key cards but no cookies and no explanation why the gentleman before me got a cookie. I came down later and asked for a cookie and the lady said they had to get more is why I didn’t get any. Key card has a piece of paper that said breakfast was served 6-10 am. Woke up next day, Sunday, and walked past the clerk to the breakfast room and no breakfast. Was told it’s 7am on Sundays. So, we left with no coffee and no breakfast and had Starbucks down the street. Pillows were a little lumpy, bathroom light also lights the wash sink which makes it hard to use bathroom at night without disturbing other people.

Carpets are worn and dirty, lamp shade over my bed damaged, broken slate tiles in elevator floors, tears in wall picture, bathroom wall dirty, floor and floor trim in bathroom very poorly done, duct tape over elevator button on outside of elevator, hand print stains on box spring cover, overall upkeep neglected. Bedding comfortable. Outdoor patio shelter filthy with old supplies left in bar area, outdoor chairs upset neglected space overall. Reviews on breakfast buffet part of choice for this hotel only to find out not included in my booking and is $16.95 additional price. Overall should have gone to a new chain hotel. $150+ was way too much money for what turned out to be a run down property.

Lots of noise in the hallways, mostly college kids that sounded drunk. Shower did not work. Safe would not open. Front desk lady said her computer crashed so we had to wait on the gentlemen clerk that was on the phone processing a complaint. “Do we want a cookie?” - they keep them behind the counter. Good mattress, soft pillows. Didn’t but ant sundry items because with three deep at the one check in register - ain’t nobody got time for that.

My car was damaged by the valet at my stay here in September. I reported it to Hilton and filed a claim a month later. Called for months to try and get help with the situation. Only to be told that too much time had lapsed and I hadn’t filed a claim, when I absolutely did! Hilton took no responsibility for this not an I’m sorry here’s where to take your car to be fixed, here’s a free stays to help make things right. I received nothing from them in any way except a headache. When I arrived this trip I was told they no longer offer valet they’ve had so many issues with it!!
I’ve stayed here several times and it is always a very nice hotel with clean, safe, nice rooms, this time was different. We were placed in a room that looked like it was mangled. That’s why I gave it a lower score and I’m still upset over my car!

Shower floor was very worn and looked dingy. Bathroom needed updates. But beds were comfy and overall room and public areas were clean.

I wanted to like this hotel, but literally everything is an upcharge (and, yes, my bad for missing that when booking), but you’re already paying a good chunk for the room. Parking: extra. Breakfast (basic hotel hot breakfast, nothing fancy): $20 extra. Water: extra. The bed was horribly hard and uncomfortable. The carpet in the room was badly stained and rolled up (tripping hazard). The main positive I have is that the hotel itself was quiet, even though there seemed to be a parade of bikers going up and down the main thoroughfare at all hours. I’d be less bothered if it were half the price without upcharges.

The hotel says in the description that valet is available for $10. The first night we were informed we could self park due to short staffing and the second night they said they don’t have valet it’s $10 to self park. So not only are they still advertising valet parking but they’re charging the same for you to South Park that they were charging for valet. The facility seems to be getting worse each visit. The showers have grime and what looks to be mold or mildew in several spots. The evening staff on the first night was not friendly and even made a comment about people using third parties to book. The night staff the second night insisted the room they gave us had a couch which I paid for and it took me telling him my husband was in the room now for him to believe me and when shown a picture of the accent chair he suggested maybe it was a sofa chair. We were moved rooms. The water pressure dropped in the middle of the shower. We have stayed here numerous times in the past and it seems the place continues to go down hill. It’s very disappointing.

Horrible dirty, bed bug infested hotel! Do not book! Currently attempting to get money back from hotels.com as this was a non refundable stay.
Upon arrival it was clear that hotel was not in condition depicted on hotels.com site. It was old, run down and beyond dirty. Went up to our room and it was dark, moldy smelling with broken, scratched up, dirty furniture. Bathroom shower floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Called front desk and the gave us another room, second room was in same condition. Tried a third time, told us they’d put us on “renovated” 11th floor. Not sure what was renovated here as furnishings were all the same with the same outdated, unclean carpet and dirty walls. Bonus here was we found evidence of bed bugs! Immediately informed front desk we would not be staying.
Also in a bad area with many homeless and addicts around. Pretty sure some of them frequently stay in this hotel. Cannot believe the Hilton brand has such a terrible hotel.

The staff stood out! Amazing desk clerks & valets!👏👍The large 2 room suite was spacious & appreciated bc three of us were stuck in WV for a few more days due to the snow storm:) We felt very safe & the location is great proximity to downtown which is a cute area:) Marshall U is close as well. The staff was very nice both at check-in when I came back after my dinner and with the valet parking. The problem was the condition of the parking lot out front, which was still loaded with 3+ inches of pure ice and nowhere to even go for a safe walk to your car unless you were at the front door. In addition, the room while the bathroom was clean, the rest of the room was horrible. Ripped and stained carpet, walls that needed to be white because there was coffee or something else all over it. There were cobwebs up in the corners of the room and the curtains looks like they had been completely shredded. I would have changed rooms, but unfortunately, from what I was told there weren’t any others to give me.

Location within Huntington can not be beat. Staff was overall pleasant with the exception of the valet attendant who was not pleasant and seemed bothered. Parking does cost money. Paid $10 to have my car stored off-site by valet in a \"secured\" garage (it's not actually secured, by the way). You also have the option of meter pay for street parking.

Rooms were nice. I loved my view of downtown Huntington. Location is, again, perfect.
