I stayed at this hotel a few years ago and it was nice, however it appears they have not updated the hotel...ever. It is under new management and it appears they will update it but in its current state the beds were terrible and I have neck and back pain from sleeping there 3 nights. The bed felt like it was sinking down. The towels were very thin. The water pressure was painfully high. The pool \"closed\" two hours earlier than the posted time on the one day it didn't rain and my kids weren't able to use it.

We reserved two rooms on Hotels.com and got a confirmation number,when we arrived at the hotel the desk clerk said we only booked one. I told her we had a confirmation number for two rooms and her response was those don’t mean anything! After about 30 minutes we finally got an additional room,but the desk clerk was rude throughout the entire process.

There was only one small trash can in the room and it was in the bathroom. There was mold in the shower/tub area. For a family of four we had to request extra towel and shower gel. Breakfast was well prepared and tasted great! We especially enjoyed having coffee and lemon water in the lobby.

Paid upfront before arriving. I checked in perfectly on the first night. The next morning my key did not work. Upon going to the front desk they could not find my reservation. However, I received a new key. Later that day, someone else, a man, walked in on me in my room. They gave him the key to my room. I left to visit family and returned and my key did not work and the guy at the desk acted like I was dumb and did not know how to use the key. He came with the master key to let me in. I had him to try the key he gave me, and surprise, it did NOT work. He did not issue another key. I came down and complained so a tech came to the room and reset the door. They acted like I was the problem.

We did not stay at the magnolia Bluffs, we felt it was misrepresented online. So we canceled our stay at the Magnolia. It was smelly, the floors were sticky in the room as if we were walking on glue. We didn’t stay at all. We’re supposed to be refunded because we had to go to another hotel.

This stay was a total disappointment for us. The property had recently changed ownership and obviously had been allowed to run down. The room decor and furniture was decades old. It needed a deep clean. I paid extra for a room with a view of the Mississippi. There was one small sight line of the river. The breakfast area was the only bright spot. It was clean and the meal tasty. I hope new management gets it right.

Okay place but furniture is quite worn out. The paint on the nightstands has come off quite visibly, the headboard upholstery was torn, all the doors looked worn out, the elevators door was extremely creaky, all the dining area chairs had paint coming off, the television looked like something from the 90s.
One side of the bed had no electrical connections nearby for charging.
Overall while the staff was helpful and hot water/ac/mattress comfort was fine, the place felt depressing and sorely needs a refresh and tech upgrade. Definitely not with $200 per night for a basic room.

Comfortable room and clean. We like the location and the breakfast. There were a few issues, but we will stay here again. Bath water was only luke-warm. Only one of our two key cards worked. Went to the desk two or three times to get it fixed, but it never did work. Neither card worked at the side door. Only one of the two elevators works. Other than that it was a good stay for us.

Staff is great and place is clean. But for the price I paid it really needs some updating did too the rooms or the room I was in. My room was 250 the night I stayed. Room was cleaned but bathroom ceiling had stains from where it seems to be a water leak and was messed up a little in that spot. To be a up scale hotel of a casino. That’s just something you don’t suppose to see. Other than that everything was great. The view, customer service, breakfast and etc. But get them rooms updated Magnolia Bluff Casino Hotel!

Terrible experience at this hotel! In town for the MS State gymnastics meet with our 10 year old daughter. This hotel has FALSE advertisement on their website! The hotels name has been changed with the signage taken down from the exterior as well as in the lobby. Magnolia Bluff BW Signature hotel seems to now be named “hotel”. We had a long wait to time to check in. Once we got to our room it was not up to par. Dead bugs on the ground and in the windows along with a live beetle. There was a hair in the bed & the sheets were knotty. We left the room to tell the staff we would be leaving only to find a chicken wing bone by the elevator in the lobby!! The vending area in the lobby was also completely empty. This hotel needs some major HELP! I didn’t want anyone else to have the experience that we had so I’m sharing our ours and a few photos. The only positive was the employee at the front desk was understanding and helpful.

I was very pleased with the hotel itself—However, two things I didnt like—the link to the “map” inside the hotels.com app did not take me to the hotel. it took me a different locatio , approx 1/2 mile from the hotel. Secondly, there was not any “magnolia bluffs” signs any where on the exterior of the building, not even a road sign. Im not kidding. I had to use a different app to locate the hotel.

The staff was above and beyond friendly. However for a Saturday night and weekend the bar was not open and didn’t plan on it. We were told we could shuttle to the Casino for use of that bar. The breakfast was stocked and had a fresh variety. The room could use a good cleaning. The shower was dirty and behind the bathroom door had mold spots on the floor so you could tell it had not been mopped or scrubbed. For $200 a night I was not impressed

This property seems to be in the midst of a change in ownership/management and is a work in progress. The lobby and pool area are nice and the breakfast buffet was well stocked. However the room was dated and the bathroom was in need of paint and repairs to the walls. The closet area also needed work. The “river view” was only seen when standing at the window and looking a hard left - not the scenic view described. I’ve stayed in better and I’ve stayed in worse but this was certainly not the level you would expect for the price.

It was a home-cooked breakfast meal. I think I gave him five stars for the meal because the meal was so great location is great. It’s right there by the casino and it’s very historical so I love it.

The furniture didn't look clean and fresh it was tired and old looking n room 607 and everytime toilet was flush it was a fowl stinky odor smelling really bad, and while showering the water was ankle deep not flowing out tub, but every employee i encounter was pleasant and answer any question i had, most problem was the bed was so uncomfortable and hard .

At check in I needed a cart. They were being used. I stood for 45 minutes waiting for one.
I had to make 4 trips on the 5th floor to get my luggage up.

I asked about a menu of the casino restaurant. They had 1 menu at the desk and everyone in the hotel had to use that one!!!
Didn’t offer to make a copy or anything.

Staff was never at the desk when needed.
Then acted as if I was bothering them if I had a question. For the money we pay for a hotel in Natchez, Ms. it’s worth about 1/2 of that.

Public areas are well kept, clean and reasonably new, however, bedrooms are in need of renovation. Very old, worn furniture. Our usb or lamps did not work. There was supposed to be a bar which wasn’t open - when I asked why I was told they were understaffed and therefore no one to serve! Pretty poor really. Cold coffee in lobby area and although pool was open there was various amounts of bugs swimming around, which wasn’t very nice.
Breakfast was ok.
Staff do not seem happy in their work especially at reception!

I don’t know who is giving this hotel so many good reviews but don’t believe them… absolutely disgusting rooms. First room they gave I scanned and walked in and their where people in there. The second room I was given had filthy sheets an awful residue on the counters, TV had 0 channels and there was I fact NO internet. If the room says river view… it is not don’t pay the extra money for it!

This hotel needs some serious cleaning. Even the outside could use a fresh coat of paint. Just looks worn. The elevators were not working, so we had to use the service elevator. Which was okay, but the area to use the elevator was not clean. If the service elevator has to be used, the area should be at least clean, even though this is where the laundry room and other work rooms are. Our room smelled like grease. The desk staff said the kitchen was used earlier in the day to cook chicken and/or fish. It smelled like that in our room. However, the breakfast offered was good and filling.

What was not liked, the soada machines were eotjer broken or empty, they had an elevator down. But really erked was the driver for the shuttle. Apparently one door didnt work, so we had to get in and slide over, no bigfie, but its captain seats and the drivw had both seat reclined so far back you knees didnt fit.

Birthday Celebration nightmare.

I was very disappointed with this stay at the Magnolia Hotel in Natchez.
My sisters and i celebrated our Birthdays on the 17 and the 19 of April.
What should have been a joyus occasion
Turned into a nightmare.
The room didnt have a phone.The room had poor lighting. The table lamp next to the beds was the only lighting that worked.
Corner lamp did not work at all.
The security lock on the door broke off as i tried to secure the door.
The shower curtain in the bathroom was half the size of the shower.
And on the last night of our stay the air-conditioning wasn't working.
The room was hot.
I let the front desk know the security lock was broken and there was no phone in the room.Busy Easter weekend and only 1 elevator was working.
Nicole assured me she would take care of it.
The security lock was replaced but still no phone.
When ever we visit Natchez we always stay at the Magnolia never had issues in the past.
I can assure you we will never stay there again.

My room was given away although it was paid for and i dont GAF about no glitch in a raggedy ass system that allows for someones PAID ROOM to be taken due to \"overbooking\" because it NEEDS TO BE CHANGED! The hotel site and grounds are beautiful. We booked connecting rooms and both bathroom faucets were very difficult to turn on. The hotel caters to large groups and was not staffed to handle breakfast rush. Ran out of coffee, plates, utensils. Only one elevator working. Staff told us it was down over a year. So sad. Great property.
