Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The Clara room is definitely in need of an upgrade. Especially the mattress, pillows, and bathroom. The grounds needed attention such as various debris scattered about. A simple blowing of the hard space would make it much more presentable. Breakfast was great and Mrs Nell showed true southern hospitality.

Beautiful property with gardens and pool. Loved the breakfast- wonderful biscuits! Rooms are lovely with nice bathrooms. We chose this option because it had a main room with queen bed and a side room with a twin bed. Kind of like a suite. The staff were very kind and helpful. Enjoyed the info during home tour.

The Burn Hotel is an absolute gem. Our room was beautiful, with a comfortable bed and stylish interior. The gardens and pool were excellent and made for a wonderfully relaxing stay. An absolutely Divine Stay! June was Hot but the charming pool was a refreshing quench at the end of the day. Big beach towels in a cute pool bag were provided in the room for us. The complementary tour of the house was gorgeous! The Garden & Veranda areas were well maintained and in full bloom. Our Hosts were most Gracious & the Ladies of their staff are very attentive, accommodating and just precious, wonderful people. The Douglas room on the 1st floor had easy access to everything. The sit down Breakfast every morning was scrumptious. We felt like invited guests and are already planning our next trip! There are big refrigerators that are assessable in near by areas to store beverages or leftovers from magnificent meals so we didn’t have to bring a cooler. Rent a golf cart it’s worth it for touring the area at your own pace. Wear comfortable shoes; lots of steps on many home tours.

The Burn B&B is wonderful.

The is a wonderful property, we received a very warm welcome, fabulous food and hospitality throughout our stay.

The live-in owner is a wonderful gentleman who greeted us at breakfast and conversed with us about local history. We were also treated to a tour of the property after breakfast.

This property is Southern Hospitality at its best. I would highly recommend this property.

What an absolute gem! Stopped off at the Burns luxury inn for one night to break up a very long journey. What a beautiful town, full of charm. The tour of the house the following morning was a welcome surprise, undertaken by the lovely staff.
We have already told ourselves, we will be returning to give it the time it deserves !

It is a quaint little place. Not a traditional Antebellum home, but the rooms are decorated for this era. Staff is excellent and very helpful. Breakfast is standard eggs, bacon/sausage, and French toast/pancakes. Served in their white table cloth dining room, and the owner will sometimes play the piano while you eat. The Burn is close to downtown and everything it has to offer.

Southern Hospitality at its best

From pulling up on the street, till the time you leave this place, it oozes class. A quaint, quiet, beautiful setting. Big spacious rooms with beautiful old furniture. We were welcomed warmly by Nell and Mary with a glass of sangria. Breakfast is served in the dining room at 8.30am and it was gorgeous, with piano music! We were given a tour of the house after breakfast which was really interesting. We used the pool while there which was nice as it was hot and humid. Its a little bit out of town though so you really need the car. Although I would consider the distance to town walkable (in european standards) and safe, the heat/humidity would make it uncomfortable.

We enjoyed our stay and it was overall good. That said, the blinds didn’t close, the security bolt was missing a screw and was hanging down, two glasses on the nightstand looked like they hadn’t been washed in forever and the loveseat needed to be reupholstered. Breakfast was beautifully served and was good, especially the grits and fresh baked biscuits. Nell is delightful and she took us on a tour of the main house which is fabulous . The owner is cordial, came to the dining room both mornings to welcome everyone and had his wonderful Golden Doodle Babe who went around and greeted everyone as well. Overall yes I would stay there again. The grounds and pool are really lovely.

Stay to visit Natchez and see history, there are stairs to our room that are a little narrow. The room was very nice, with comfy bed and nice bathroom. They did refresh towels, etc on 2nd day. There is not a fridge or refreshments in the room, thought that was a bit strange. Good breakfast served at specific time. Had to ask for ice, it was very hot in MS.

Wonderful 2 night stay!

The Burn is a beautiful home. We stayed in the Clara room in the guest house. The room was very clean and spacious! The king four poster bed was comfortable, other antique furniture and a fireplace made us feel as if we stepped back in time. Walkable to Mainstreet and the river. Restaurants and stores a few blocks away. Love this place! Nell our host and Franco made us feel at home…. The pool was a big refreshing plus! I will be back!!

The home was lovely, but the best part about The Burn Bed and Breakfast was Nell and her team of ladies that housed and feed us incredible breakfasts. Honestly, the setting is so nice and the ladies work non-stop to keep it that way. My husband and I really enjoyed meeting them. The breakfasts were all home made and served to us like were royal. It was a real treat! I hope Nell is being paid well because she is running that B&B. She is a sweetheart!

We enjoyed our one night stay. It was close to everything, easy to find with free parking. Check in out was easy. Our room was very nice and fitting for the area. It was on the second floor with a sitting area over looking one of the garden areas. It is outside the main house and up a set of stairs. The breakfast was scheduled for 8:30 with the other guests in the main house dining room. It was delicious and served to us on china. They offered free main house tour as well. Overall wonderful experience.

Home is only viewable by private tour as the owner lives there. Perhaps it is more accessible during the Spring Pilgrimage.

We came here knowing that the stay was all about the history of the home and the surrounding town. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. However, take note, Victorian furniture is not known for its comfortable seating. The tour of the Burn was very interesting also. Staff was very attentive and the breakfast was good.

Incredible high end stay- can’t recommend enough

This entire property is incredible. The rooms are large, spacious, and incredibly decorated with very unique antique pieces. The home cooked breakfast was delicious, the pool was so lovely and relaxing, and the entire staff and owner made us feel right at home. I will always stay here when I’m Natchez, and I can’t recommend it enough. The first morning, we accidentally slept through breakfast and they brought us a tray directly to our room. They gave us a ton of fantastic recommendations and made us feel like we were staying at a private resort somewhere. 10/10 recommend

This place is gorgeous. You have the feel of the “Old South” but with modern day amenities. This stay we were in The Lucy Room. It’s a very spacious room with a large bathroom. The breakfast is to die for. They have the absolute best french toast I have ever had. The grounds are so beautiful and well kept. We took our 9 year old daughter for her first trip to a B&B and she had so much fun. She loved playing with the owners dog and hanging out with Mrs Nell, the hostess. She is as sweet as they come. We love this place.
