Everything was great, great staff, specially the team that checked me in on September 13th in the morning which I forgot their names, from the gentleman who checked me in early which I really appreciate and the bell man who helped me with my bags and the housekeeping team which did a great job, very kind and helpful, I would definitely recommend this property, Thank you for a great stay and see you soon!

The hotel was great overall. Alparslan Kaan from the reception was especially helpful and assisted us whenever we needed anything. However, the room wasn’t as clean as expected — it was a bit dusty and only moderately clean. That said, the hotel's conditions and location were excellent.

Very far from the main touristy stuff in Istanbul but worth the rooms, very spacious very comfortable. Excellent housekeeping daily. Staff at front desk is always helpful and polite. The area around the hotel is full of cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets. Nice safe modern area to explore at night.

I had to book this additional night just to be able to check out at 4 pm because the front desk employee said they are fully booked and can not give me a late checkout so infront of him I booked an additional night and told him apparently you are not fully booked and informed the manager of what happened and she said oh you just booked the last room.

The hotel was beautiful, everything about it was first class! The people who worked there did everything they could to make me happy to stay there. The only thing they didn't have, and said they couldn't legally sell was Rollaids, I forgot mine. That was my fault.

Bad stay

There was a huge change in hotel condition comparing to my las stay in December 2021.
The bed was not comfortable at all were it like there is a hole where when you lie down you sink in the bed.
The cleanness is not good at all where when I checked in I saw a small piece of biscuit under TV table I said let me check tomorrow if they will clean it but till the day of check out the piece is there and the dust everywhere I don’t know how they were cleaning ; also the fridge when I open it was not clean;
I know all hotels the water is complementary so I asked for water they told me it will be chargeable!!! .. requested to extra blanket the was no available blankets .. it was really horrible .. I selected the hotel because I stayed twice in December 2021 and it was amazing .. in 8 months only the hotel completely changed and became bad so sorry for that because the location is amazing but i won’t come back again till it improve

The absolute WORST stay of my life

Where do I start? The management is utterly rude & dishonest! Surely seemed like the only qualification for the gig is a marginal command of English with no human decency to speak of whatsoever.

On the first day of our stay, their awful terrace furniture broke & could've easily paralized a family member. She weighs no more than 65Kg, mind you with a history of spinal issues. Don't expect a gesture or an apology if you find yourself there. Not at sommerset!

Secondly, if you use the garage, you must phone the front the desk to open the door upon entry and exit. They might buzz you in/out or at times you have to wait for an actual human to come let you OUT or IN. Without a phone? You're screwed. When asked why they wouldn't provide an entry card, 2 of the staff retorted that they \"can only issue you one if your stay is 30 days or longer.\" Subsequently, the manager called both staff memebrs \"liars\" & even threatedned to \"fire\" them.
So prepare to be treated like a second-class citizen if your stay is less than a month.

If you have a modicum of self-respect, and value your spinal and mental health even remotely, stay clear of this place.

The hotel is not at a level of hygiene. The towels are sometimes dirty. There is no machine for making coffee. If you ask, you must pay an extra amount. Chairs on the balcony are broken. If you do not notice them, the chair fell. I do not recommend this hostel.

The reception staff speaks very good English and I was greeted by Eyup at the reception very late evening and sorted my problem with Turkish taxi driver and welcomed me in the hotel and checked me In. Next morning the duty manager Yasin met me at the breakfast and went out of his way to assist me and made sure I was comfortable and settled in the hotel. I was very impressed with the high quality of service and assistance provided by the staff

GREAT PROPERTY... Small issues

The room/apartment is extremely well-sized and with sweeping views (opt for the forest over the city). And at the current pricing is extremely attractive especially if you have young children/infants with you. The real \"issues\" were: 1. Breakfast - they really do need to offer more options and improve this. Noted by other reviewers as well, and I was prepared for this. 2. Location - pretty far from Istanbul proper and takes longer to get to that google maps seems to suggest. 3. Cleanliness - rooms didn't seem to be cleaned on a daily basis or at least not properly. I have asthma issues and double up as a \"dust radar\"! Considering this property has recently opened - this was a surprise! The Apartment layout was GREAT though... as was the Kid's playarea which was well appreciated by the young 'un

Odamız park yeri güvenliğine bakıyordu, perdeyi açtığımızda güvenlik görevlileriyle karşı karşıyaydık, değiştirmek istedik housekeeper başka boş odaları olduğunu söyledi ama resepsiyonu iki kere aramımıza rağmen farklı bir oda yok cevabı aldık. Çıkış yaparken iki ayrı kişi biz daha odadayken gelip her yeri sanki bir şey çalmışız gibi kontrol etti, bi zahmet çıkışımızı bekleselerdi

another perfect stay at Sommerset Maslak.

I have been a regular visitor to this hotel since 4 years ago.
I stay here everytime, I visit Istanbul. The staff and facilities were great, especially the young gentlmen doing the bell service. His name was Baran. I found him to be polite, disciplined, and quite resolute. I am sure he will be a high raking figure in his future life. Hope to see the facility again.
