Great hotel. Loft room was excellent. A large room with great views of the city.

Whole of the hotel was spotless with cleaning constantly taking place.

The reception team were really helpful and friendly and dealt with all of our requests and enquiries.

The Beach Club was a nice bonus - free access and a complementary shuttle service.

Food at breakfast and dinner was of a very good standard.

I had such a beautiful stay from start to finish. The staff were warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming, which made all the difference. The room was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with attention to detail. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything felt fresh and well maintained.

The atmosphere throughout the hotel was calm and luxurious, and the amenities were excellent. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and service was consistently attentive without being intrusive.

We had the most perfect stay at The Mondrian in Doha!

Everything about the hotel from its aesthetics to its ambience to its facilities, amenities and the room itself were to the highest standard.

We were so happy with the level of professionalism, care and hospitality all staff members showed us. Right the way through from check-in to check out.

The room was perfectly setup with a little extra touch to commemorate our post Umrah completion. The staff were really happy and proud to have been able to add this extra touch for us.

The spa was probably one of if not the best spa I have been to. I want to say thank you to the spa staff for accommodating us. The treatments were of the highest standard. I enjoyed all my treatments. The heated pool was magnificent and the most perfect pool for us. The swimming pool staff were also very helpful.

I would highly recommend The Mondrian Doha. Not only is the hotel itself magnificent but the staff go above and beyond to show that extra little bit of compassion which makes the world of difference. We hope to visit again soon.

The spa stood out the most for me. The whole atmosphere was a beautiful vibe. Mall is literally walking distance. Loved the elevator decor. Every detail was well thought out. The pool was so gorgeous and clean. The thing I disliked most was the early closing of the pool. The breakfast had a lot of options but wasn’t refilled quick enough. Not many fruit options.

The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are amazing. However, the were too many problems with the room. The shower design is actually just terrible. For a 5 star hotel I expect things to not be broken in the room or not even have bare necessities such as body wash and conditioner. I had to go down to the front desk 3 times to ask them to refill the body wash and conditioner. To which instead after 3 days we had 2 shampoos and 1 body wash so I just gave up going downstairs. The tea kettle was broken, the fridge was broken. Knocking at the door at 11pm at night to clean the room was outrageous.

I'd expect something of this from a lower rated hotel, not a luxury hotel.

This is my fourth trip to Doha and I enjoy the city but Lusail area is probably my least favourite (first stay in this district). Firstly, The Mondrian’s hotel lobby and drop off area is a disaster for hotel guests. Its a tight circle that’s also a valet and drop off for many bars/restaurants - as a result there’s a long long line of traffic that leaves real guests walking a long way and struggling with luggage. This was a constant annoyance everytime we booked an Uber and left/returned.

The decor is very tacky (much worse than photos) and pool area gross - it reaked of chemical smell. I was excited to use the large soaking tub in our room only to find the drain didn’t work and I couldn’t use that either. Overall, super overpriced and definitely not up to the typical Mondrian standard (like the more tastefully and much smarter designed hotel in Singapore).

Recommend staying elsewhere downtown or closer to Souq Waqif.

However, even there, there was a separate menu for the half board package with 4 starters, 4 mains and 2 desserts. The waiter had to request the menu for us. Looking at the main menu, there was no real differences in the costs of the individual meals on the half board menu, therefore I could not see the point in having a separate menu other than to restrict options for half board guests. Whilst your staff on the floor, housekeeping, Spa, gym, pool, catering, were excellent throughout our stay, it seems that managers and desk staff were less concerned with our experience, and more concerned with ‘more affluent’ guests.
My family and I are well travelled, including numerous visits to Dubai, and Abu Dhabi, staying at high end resorts and hotels. We are not affluent, but we are all professionals. I am an Executive Headteacher for a group of High Schools in Birmingham, my wife is a HR manager for a national utilities company, and my daughter is a frontline Doctor working for the NHS. We work hard, earn well, and spend accordingly. But we are not in the same league as some of your clientele.
The half board package made us feel decidedly ‘second class’. Something we have not experienced before. On Thursday 25th I was ready to leave and return to the UK, but one of the waiters in Hudson Tavern, Miche, made me change my mind.
I appreciate that people like us may not be your target clientele, and that more wealthy guests are more valuable to you. However, if this is the case, then

The half board option was very small not worth it . The breakfast is good. Wide choice but the service is slow and not many staff around . Maybe because it was christmas day the rooms look good but not workable. The locks of toilets down work. Some usb ports arent connected. .overall i was expecting a 5 star top notch hotel and service but felt more 3 stars . Only thing this place is brilliant for is taking your instraagram pictures

Our room was gorgeous with a stunning view, two showers/toilets abd and a comfy bed. However, there were no slippers and no mini-bar and the drinking cups were tiny. Half of the stunning reception area was cordoned off for the Grand Prix the following week which was unfair on those of us who were staying there the week before. All the staff were wonderful

I recently stayed at the Mondrian, and my experience was absolutely exceptional. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade from a standard room to a Studio Suite. The suite was spacious, stylish, and incredibly comfortable — a perfect blend of luxury and modern design.
Every part of my stay was flawless. The staff were friendly and attentive, the amenities were top notch, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel made me feel truly welcomed. I genuinely enjoyed my time there and couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The first thing to say about the Mondrian is that it is an absolutely beautiful property. The lobby and pool area is so stunning I even took photographs. The room size was very large with a very well equipped bathroom. Large walk in shower and a bathtub that could probably accommodate 6 people!

I found the mattress quite hard for my liking, but it was acceptable. I also found the dining options quite limited. At breakfast only a buffet is available. I would have preferred a smaller al-a-carte option. For dinner there is a Michelin Starred High End Restaurant and an American Bar (Hudson) serving Burgers and suchlike, but nothing in between. The solution for this was room service, which was extremely extensive. I would have preferred to see a restaurant where this menu could be ordered.

I was refused entry to Hudson without my passport, which I had to go back to the room and get. This seemed an odd request given I was resident. This may be a new local rule, but I have not experienced this in other Doha Hotels.

The 20% VIP discount was not applied to my bill automatically, I had to request it. I did not receive a room upgrade and I don't believe the Hotel was especially busy.

I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Mondrian again but if the management are reading this, I feel the dining options require consideration and the Reception staff need better training on observing the Expedia VIP benefits offered when booking.

**BEWARE BEFORE BOOKING**WORTH READING**MIGHT SAVE YOU SOME FRUSTRATIONS
I rarely write reviews but my experience with this hotel left me no choice. **This review is long but hopefully it will spare another family the same frustrations that we encountered with this place.**While this hotel is listed as 5 stars, there are several factors in my opinion that make it a 3-4 star @ the most despite its elegance & great location.
#1- This is not a family hotel. The hotel has no outdoor space at all except for an outdoor patio located on floor P2 that’s also the location of one of their ONLY 2 restaurants where you can eat dinner even if you choose and pay for their 1/2 board option. There’s no courtyard, the pool is inside and it doesn’t even have a hot tub/jacuzzi.
#2- The main dining room is only open for breakfast & lunch. For some reason, they close it for dinner which I’ve never seen before. Even then, one day during our stay there was a “private event” being held there during lunch and some of the staff told us we couldn’t come in for lunch. A 3rd staff member had to be called and told them they could let us in. So if you pay for 1/2 board, you’re left with only 2 places to eat dinner, the Walima restaurant & the Hudson. ***But here’s what makes this even worse.***They also often have “private events” during lunch & dinner times @ those only 2 available restaurants, and when they do, guests are not allowed to eat in them during those “private events”. #3-Extra charge for
