We had an excellent stay at Grand Hyatt Doha – Valentina and Stefania.
Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The room was spotless at all times, with daily cleaning and no missing amenities whatsoever. The room itself was very spacious and had a stunning view over the garden and lagoon, with the city and high-rise buildings visible in the background — truly beautiful.

The hotel staff were extremely kind, attentive, and always willing to help us with anything we needed. We felt very well looked after throughout our entire stay. ( Thank you, Sagor)

The restaurants offer a wide variety of cuisines, suitable for all tastes and nationalities, so there is always something to choose from.
We highly recommend this hotel to everyone and would happily return.

The Grand Hyatt Doha is an excellent property. The rooms and the grounds are beautiful and all the staff are extremely accommodating. We ate at the Thai Restaurant every night of our stay which was outstanding. I would recommend this hotel to others.

The Club room option I took was very handy with the breakfast, 11am availability of drinks and snacks and a small but more than adequate meal selection from 6-8pm for a starter, main and desert/cheese and wine/beers etc.

Lucy and Prakriti very helpful in the Club lounge, thank you.

Would be good for the food options to be available until 9pm in the Club room.

Beach and main pool were OK, although the sun is somewhat obscured by nearby tall buildings part way through the afternoon (maybe this is a good thing?!)

Cracking hotel

A spacious hotel with a lovely outlook to the water providing good beach and pool facilities at a reasonable price. Its location provides an easy commute back to the City or even to the Lusail International circuit. The food was excellent offering a good breakfast and then a choice of other authentic restaurants…we particularly enjoyed the Thai food.

We thoroughly enjoyed our staycation at Grand Hyatt Doha having been very well taken care of by the team. Special mention to the Club Lounge team (Thomas, Biknam, Rovina and Prakriti) who took extra special care of us and were amazing with our seven year old son. The housekeeping team including Mamun and Winswe were also absolutely fantastic in providing those added touches to help make our stay as comfortable as possible.
Every stay at this hotel should include breakfast at SMBC, such a range of choice served by a lovely team. We will definitely be back for another visit soon.

My recent experience at the Grand Hyatt Doha was fantastic. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the entire stay. The highlight of my mornings was at the Santa Monica Breakfast Club, where Namuna went above and beyond to ensure I started my day right based on my preferences and her attention to detail and genuine care was noted.

The service at the Club Lounge, particularly from Thomas, was impeccable. Thomas surprised me with thoughtful gestures that truly enhanced my stay, making me feel valued as a guest. Furthermore, Ayush was always available to address any concerns or assist with any requests which was appreciated.

The hotel itself was clean, and the beach access provided a serene retreat. Moreover, its convenient location allowed for easy access to the metro, Lagoona Mall and the Pearl which I enjoyed. The beds and A/C were comfortable, and I enjoyed the spacious balconies. The WIFI also worked great, with individual router points in each room.

This is the third time I stayed in Grand Hayat Doha, I didn’t like the policy of bags inspection to take “the electrical Bakhour”.
The other thing I faced with my last stay, I didn’t get response from the hotel here via “message box” when I ask them for possibility of early check in and getting room on the upper floors.
The last annoying thing was when the receptionist told to pay a ( refundable amount for insurance), and it was the first time.
Everything it would be great if I wasn’t face these Annoyances.

Adding a sofa bed in a standard room was so tight. Even if you had a child in the room the rooms were very small compared to other Grand Hyatt across the world.

Price you pay to this hotel is not at all matching the poor quality you get.

The staff make this property an amazing place to stay. Everyone member we encountered was friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We had access to the Grand Club Lounge which had an extensive offering, especially over the happy hours.
The pools and beach are clean and well managed. Unfortunately our enjoyment of the beach was somewhat spoiled by the very noisy jet skis which were in use throughout the day.

This is a fabulous hotel, not sure when it was built, but it has all the mod-cons and lots of restaurant choices. It also has one of the leading beach bars in Doha, and they have great parties - do book though.
We found all of the staff in the hotel to speak good English, friendly and knowledgeable.
Taxi's are plentiful and cheap in Doha, with Uber the best pricing and again lots of availability.

Lovely week long break at Grand Hyatt

I loved staying at Grand Hyatt. I have stayed there many times over the past few years but I have seen a definite improvement in service the last couple of times I have been there.
I stayed in one of the Club rooms which was great. There was a lovely view of the gardens and what I especially like about the rooms at Grand Hyatt is that they all have balconies. In my opinion, with breakfast included and snacks and evening drinks in the Club lounge, it is well worth booking a Club room. I can’t really say anything negative about this hotel. I love it and would definitely recommend it! I am looking forward to my next stay.

A little gem in the heart of Doha. This 5 star hotel has exceeded my expectations. It is a bit old as a building but has a lot of charm. The rooms are renovated and very comfortable, clean and pristine bathrooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We tried 2 of the restaurants, the Thai place and the Santa Monica Breakfast Club and both were amazing. It also has a nice swimming pool and beach. I highly recommend this hotel for a staycation or when you visit Doha

I booked the residence 2 bedroom. Arrived there for check in time at 3 pm the room was not ready until 2 hours later. The room was still dirty from the previous guest. The shower was clogged in one bed room and in the other the shower door did not open because it was damaged and only extreme hot water was coming. The beach was dirty with floating empty plastic bottle and fruit rests. Called the reception to complain and told me they will call the manager to call me back never happened. Over all waist of my money very disappointed never again.

Why do they hold the deposit for 10-15 days?

Was a bit shocked when I checked out and they informed me they intended to keep my deposit blocked for 10-15 business days.... this is after I paid for my room and services ordered. This was their normal practice... not what you expect from a hotel like this, makes you wonder if there is a scam popping up...

Relax with superb service

Arrived at hotel about 7in the evening the service is impeccable, the reception staff especially Faahd & Robert are exceptional, was given a lovely room , only realised much later when we were asleep that the room was next to the service room & their was noise of shuffling and moving through the night and the music coming from a night club was throughout the night , early next morning I requested a change and Robert was very apologetic & had changed the room during the course of the day as most guests were still checking out .
The location is amazing very relaxing & the Lagoon Mall across the road been easy access to cafes & restaurants..

Our first time in Doha so difficult to compare...

Was not advised about renovation. We were also some kind of surprised about the influence of the Ramadan on a 5 star American Hotel. If we had known we would not have taken the trip coming from an European country. We did not read up on it on a homepage but concentrated on the information coming from the hotels homepage. Nothing was mentioned and as we did see it on other hotels we assumed that we could get a glass of wine for our meal. I also told my wife about all the available restaurants but found out upon arrival that only 2 was open for service. I would have been more satisfied if we a more clear information flow unless it is assume that people coming from Europe should know everything about local culture.

The hotel is overall really nice. A bit run down furniture in the room and a bad smell in the room - like old sweaty shoes. Over charged for floor 5. The breakfast in floor 5 is poor and so are the evening canapés. Not worth the money. Instead go to the restaurants placed in the hotel. Thai, American, Arabic and Italian. The Thai is super! The pool areas are fine. The beach is fine. The service is great. I was here on business. But I was impressed how family friendly the hotel is. I would definitely recommend this hotel when traveling with children. You will enjoy yourself at this hotel. Compared with the other 5 star hotels in the West Bay Area (where my colleagues stayed) I would definitely book this hotel again. It has more character, nice restaurants to choose from and a beautiful garden.

Great place. Very clean.staff were nice but the teamwork between staff members came across disjointed. There were a lot of events in the hotel and nearby that could definitely be advertised better. At times i would see crowds arriving for events that guests in the hotel didn't even know was happening. I'm sure in time the service will improve. The place itself and amenities are awesome

Beautiful gardens, beach and pool areas. Spacious and quiet. Bathroom is starting to become a little dated, but beds were great. Expensive to eat/drink in the hotel, but walk across the road to Lagoona Mall shopping centre for more eateries. On the edge of the city centre, but only around 12 riyals by taxi to get to the city centre and around 65 to the airport. Good wifi.
