We stayed during Ramadan and the provision for non-fasting guests was first rate. Then we were forced to stay on when Qatar airspace was closed by the Iran war. The hotel maintained excellent standards of hospitality and helpfulness throughout.

We had a wonderful stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Doha, and everything exceeded our expectations. The food was exceptional, the hotel was spotless, and the level of service was truly outstanding. Our room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and featured a lovely balcony, which made our stay even more comfortable and relaxing.

A special thank you to the amazing team at the Lagoon Restaurant — especially Dila, Younita, and Dira — whose genuine warmth, kindness, and attention to detail transformed our stay into something truly special. They went above and beyond to make our 2.9 year-old toddler feel welcomed and cherished, creating beautiful memories we will treasure forever.

We also loved the thoughtful touches, from the golf cart rides to the beach, which were both convenient and fun, to the complimentary trip to Lagoona Mall, adding an extra layer of comfort and luxury to our experience.

This was an awesome stay from start to finish, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

I cannot recommend this hotel enough — our stay was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by all the staff, who were always smiling, helpful, and incredibly polite. They truly went out of their way for us and were always on hand whenever we needed anything.

The hotel has a beautiful private beach where staff greeted us with complimentary welcome drinks. There was also a 24-hour buggy service that took us to the mall, which was extremely convenient.

Breakfast was included in our stay, and there were so many delicious options to choose from.

Highly recommend this hotel — we will definitely be back!

Club room facilities are good but you can ignore the dress code as nobody polices it. Same guy a few nights in training gear, trainers, sports shirts etc but nobody said anything to him which was disappointing as some other people made an effort to dress up.
Meals in club lounge were generally very good but afternoon tea wasn’t worth the visit so we only went once. Staff very good and attentive.
Pool area is looking a little tired and it would be nice to have somewhere to sit in some shade in the pool other than sitting at the bar.
Plenty of loungers and space and the lifeguards are the most attentive I’ve seen anywhere so very safe.
No information anywhere in the room about any of the events going on, hotel plan, gym opening times or menus for the restaurants etc. if you don’t have a smart phone you have no chance, even the drinks menus are on-line.
The buggy to the Lagoona mall was unexpected but a nice touch, again not advertised anywhere.
I would stay again as I really enjoyed it.

Everything about our stay at the Ritz Carlton Hotel was exceptional from start to finish! The property was absolutely spotless, and the service was amazing. The room was very spacious and well soundproofed. We chose a room with a balcony which we enjoyed quite a lot in the evenings. The pool was also fantastic! We chose to add the breakfast to our stay which was nothing short of phenomenal. There were so many options and everything was perfect. We also dined at two of the restaurants on the property, and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. One restaurant was the STK Steakhouse and the other was the Sel & Miel. We left the hotel several times via Uber to visit various malls and sites which were all beautiful. Thank you again to the staff at the Ritz Carlton for making our stay so special.

Me and my family have very strong positive relationship with ritz Carlton Doha since it’s opening more than 20 years back. My last stay was in july 2004 and it used to be the luxurious hotel in Doha by that time. We came back for a wedding party in the same hotel Having my daughter‘s along to experience what I used to experience when I was in their age was very special as well
I Checked in with mechile who was very nice welcoming, and took extra mile to accommodate all of our requests and lobna escorts us to the room to explain all the amenitie in our Amiri suite. The suite is specious and occupied with everything you might need. The only thing I think might be improved is the lightning in the room. though the staff was really supportive through providing us with extra spotlights to ensure our happiness and satisfaction during wearing our makeup and doing our hair style.
The view is awesome on Doha Beach all the facilities pool and spa where very nicely managed.
breakfast is rich with all options and I would like to give very special thanks for Sanna, Salahuddin, and Jabour in the breakfast area for their care and very special attention to all customers.
another special thanks to WeDad and Aya in the reception who were taking all needed to accommodate all your needs and very patient with all customers.
the Arabic coffee served in the lobby is awesome as well. I would like to give a special thanks to Mr. Mahmoud who handled my rental car when it had a minor accident.

Our stay at The Ritz-Carlton was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service.

Every staff member we encountered, including Lina, Ratel, Kanchan, Azar, Fatima, Elif, Hatim, and Linette, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.

My mother and I were celebrating our birthdays, and Fatima's thoughtful gesture of organizing a gluten-free cake made our special day even more memorable.

Elif, the chef, was incredibly attentive to our dietary needs, preparing delicious gluten-free and vegetarian meals tailored to our preferences. The rest of the staff, including Hatim, were equally friendly and accommodating, remembering our breakfast orders each morning.

Linette at the concierge was invaluable in recommending and booking exciting experiences for us to enjoy during our stay.

We cannot recommend The Ritz-Carlton enough and look forward to returning in the future.

My most favorite part about this place was how great the staffs were! They were absolutely the best, from the reception desk to the pool staff, they were so great and attentive. Bed is comfortable a little bit low but not a deal breaker.
Room deco is more on a business side rather than a resort.
Balcony sea view was quite lovely.

Pool is not very big but there is a private beach.

We booked to stay at the Ritz for NYE as we traveled from South Africa and had friends from Dubai also stay at the hotel. For NYE we booked a table at the hotel for a masquerade balll and upon arrival to our surprise they had given our table to someone else. As such we were left stranded and no where else to go. Eventually after 11pm they set-up a table at the back of the room just for us the see the new year and then we returned to our room. The management just brushed iit offf as one of those mistakes as making money was more important than the interests of their guests. As a family we travel to different countries every year to experience NYE and without a doubt this was the worst. Will not be visiting Qatar or the Ritz again

The staff at reception, concierge, breakfast restaurants were extremely friendly and attentive.
The room was spacious and very clean.
If one thing to mention as room for improvement would be to perhaps limit smoking to certain area only as it was spreading across the broader facility space and can be uncomfortable for non-smokers.

I am lost for words for this review on this property. This was not just a hotel but a family. The hospitality was second to none. I have never experienced such great service by the entire team. There are so many names I would like to thank however I don’t remember them all. Ali the doorman, Raju and Ravinder the cleaners, Ryan the waiter at breakfast along with another Asian male whom I forgot the name of. However, the entire team took care of my wife and I on our honeymoon. We stayed 4 nights at this beautiful hotel and were lucky to get access to the club lounge which is well worth paying extra for. All staff were very professional and polite in every area of the hotel. Food was excellent in the club lounge. Fantastic big gym if you're into your fitness while away.
