The rooms were a bit tired but the noise is what you need to know. It’s a flight path!!!! The service at the rooftop restaurant was also horrible! I would never stay there again. I actually checked out early and went to the Saint Regis.

My overall experience at Kempinski Doha was good and largely aligned with the standards expected from a luxury property. The hotel itself is elegant, well maintained, and offers a very pleasant atmosphere.

That said, there is room for improvement, particularly regarding service at the hotel café. On several occasions, the service was noticeably slow, which detracted from the otherwise refined experience. Additionally, I observed children using certain pools and the jacuzzi areas despite clear signage indicating that these facilities were restricted to adults. Better enforcement of these rules would significantly enhance comfort and consistency for guests seeking a more tranquil environment.

On a very positive note, the housekeeping team truly stood out. Their service was exceptional—professional, attentive, and consistently efficient. Rooms were impeccably maintained, and the staff demonstrated genuine care and commitment, which greatly enhanced my stay.

In summary, Kempinski Doha delivers a high-quality experience, but improvements in café service efficiency and enforcement of pool usage policies would elevate it further. Special recognition is deserved for the housekeeping staff, whose superb service reflects the hotel’s true potential.

Of all the places we’ve stayed in the Middle East this has by far been my favourite. It’s probably more of a personal preference of myself but the only tiny detail which hindered our stay was the pillows in the room, they were far too soft and offered no support. As mentioned, other than this tiny personal detail the rest of the hotel was incredible. Sandy in the lobby was lovely and always smiley and happy to greet us, as was Eric in the valet. I can’t wait to come back and stay here again, would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Doha!

informed the Duty Manager and the Guest Relations team about the noise and drilling sounds in my room and requested a room change. They assured me that the issue would not happen again. Unfortunately, the noise continued until the last day of my stay, and my room was never changed.

This experience was very disappointing, especially after raising the concern early and being promised a solution.

This property is absolutely gorgeous in a perfect location in the pearl. The staff is absolutely 100% exceptional KOUSHAL the concierge is the best if he can make it happen he will. Ask him where the best sunsets are. Ray in the cigar lounge made the best old-fashioned we've ever had. Watch out the cigar lounge looks closed all the time, but it's just because of the smoky doors. Every person in this hotel made us feel welcome and the breakfast was exceptional. The chefs were wonderful. The servers were wonderful. The international vibe is just incredible. Can't wait to come back.Lytha and her crew rock!

I paid a premium price expecting a private beach. Whilst that was the case. Just across the beach was a construction site. With several cranes and heavy drilling and banging throughout the day. Ruined the experience and I had to attempt the noise out using headphones but even that wasn't working. Very upset indeed.
Furthermore I paid for a hotel with spa access. I got a pool which was simply too cold to swim in and a sauna which was out of order. Again not what I paid a premium for. All in all ruined the whole experience.

We had a really good stay at this hotel. Everything was brilliant overall. The breakfast was good, the place was clean, and the atmosphere was welcoming.

The staff made the experience even better — they were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks to Elizabeth at the entrance and Noura in the dining area, as well as the other team members whose names I unfortunately can’t recall.

We’ve been very happy with our stay here and would recommend this hotel for a pleasant and comfortable experience.

We recently stayed at Marsa Malaz Kempinski as a family of four (2 adults and 2 kids), and had a truly fantastic experience from start to finish. The room was spacious, luxurious, and perfect for a family – plenty of room for everyone to relax.

The kids (and adults!) especially loved the pools, jacuzzi, and beach area – there’s so much to enjoy. In-room dining was convenient and tasty, with a good range of options. One highlight of our stay was the staff – they were exceptional, especially with the children. A special mention to Elizabeth, who always went the extra mile to make the kids feel welcome and entertained. All the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional.

Getting around Doha was easy with Karwa Taxi, and the valet team at the hotel were incredibly helpful – arranging taxis, giving sightseeing recommendations, and always assisting with getting the kids in and out of cars with a smile.

We also appreciated the buggy service around the hotel – a nice touch for families. The hotel is well-located near Qanat Quartier, just a 5–7 minute walk away, and we had a lovely breakfast/brunch at the Artist Café nearby.

Highly recommend this hotel for families – luxury, comfort, and wonderful service all in one place. We will definitely come back!

Nice accommodation, great size family rooms, which are very clean and well stocked with water and hot drinks. Position of the hotel is great, convenient for most things, and the beach is immaculate. Restaurants offer excellent options, the kids club is small but very well run by Sarah and her team, thank you for your kind care.
For a quiet and convenient Middle East family break this is effortless and ticks most boxes.

Outstanding stay. Our second time coming back to the Kempinski, the moment the valet open our car doors - we are greeted like family (even tho weve never met). The service here is impecabble - and not forced at all. Check in experience was great, she asked me lots of questions to understand our needs and then let me know what was in our package that we would benefit from. I LOVED talking to Sara at the Kids Club - so genuine and good with kids.

We love the pool layout at the Kempinski - its a weird one i know- but the layout is perfect for kids and tired adults supervising. Plus theres always a great buzz and vibe at the pool area.

The valet team are really cool - my 1 year old was obsessed with their novel buggy at the front - i let him play on it and they actually took us for a spin round the resort in it - they even stopped outside the giant horse and took pics for us. Well priced and amazing experience and service - not to mention you feel like youre in an Arabian palace.

We were not able to dine in the main restaurant (Italian menu) during our three-night stay as it was fully booked.

The hotel and staff were fabulous. The lobby area is grand and even has a pianist playing at certain times during the day which is a classy touch. The only service related issue I had was that at breakfast the service was hit and miss in that tea and coffee or omlette orders could be slow in arriving at the table or may not arrive at all and we had to reorder. But overall our stay was a memorable and relaxing one. The staff were helpful in arranging excursions. The room was spotless, the room itself was massive as was the bed (which was extremely comfortable). One improvement would be to have a more powerful shower. We were looking for a relaxing stay and chose this hotel because of the beach, pool area, spa and choice of restaurants. Breakfast had great variety also with a mix of English-style and Indian breakfasts alongside local foods and plenty of healthy options like fruit, yoghurts, cereals to go with the sweeter options like pancakes, waffles, pastries etc.

Style over substance: poor service, broken basics

After check-in, my keycard didn’t work. It’s a long walk back to reception with a heavy backpack. Staff at check in and check out in were the most disinterested I’ve had in a long time.

The room was hot, but so is Doha, and I thought perhaps they’d turned off the air con while it was vacant. But when I came back later in the evening, and waited a while, it was unchanged. Engineering came and tweaked it — past 11pm at this stage. It improved, but never went before 21.7°C, even when set much lower.

I wanted some cold water in the hot room. But it turns out that the fridge was broken too. Thankfully the air con engineers confirmed, and they came back to replace it.

I haven’t had any miniature toiletries in a hotel for a while. It was tough to unscrew them while wet. Having used most of two bottles, I put the whole set in the bin, in case they wouldn’t be replaced.

The next day, they weren’t replaced. I had nothing after coming back from the gym. I called the “butler”, but they did nothing for five hours, when I called again. Then someone came with a full set.

One night they didn’t replace the face towels. On another they didn’t replace the hands towels. On one occasion the bath sheet was ratty and frayed.

WiFi was okay but doesn’t reach the balcony. The TV would occasionally lose signal, when on Al Jazeera.

Lighting options are great. The room wa huge. The bed was good.

The gym was very good. Al Sufra restaurant too, including service. The Public House was okay.

My stay was super amazing. I need to praise and thank Management and the staff for the beyond excellent service.
The Management and Staff went out of their way to cater for our every needs. The Manager from South Africa even paid with his own credit card for us to be whisked away to the airport. At breakfast we were met with amazing staff that encouraged us to taste the various dishes. The Chef from Turkey and India were friendly and full of smiles
What an amazing experience. I have stayed in many hotels around the world but non- compared to Marza Malaz. Hope to see you soon

The property is situated on a man-made island in the city. As such, there are not many restaurants or shops nearby serving local cuisine. We were told that we could walk to shopping but were not certain how to get there. As such, our stay had a healthy dose of Uber.

That said, the food at the hotel was great. So too was the enthusiastic attitude and support of the staff whom we had a chance to meet. No matter the question, the staff always responded with a smile. In particular, I think the efforts of Praneesh, Adnane, Hanna, and Brenda were especially noteworthy.

A nice thing about the property is that is it has a beachh. This is a nice feature for those warm Doha days!

I LOVED this hotel! From my inital check-in to my check-out. I traveled here on a solo birthday celebration from the US. Upon my entry there were measures to insure safety of the building and its occupants. Security was placed throughout the the lobby and other common areas to make sure everything remained that way as the world cup would be starting the following week. The staff that provided my meals and cleaned up my room ALWAYS went above and beyond. Hand written notes from them and complimentary cake and wine/sangria to help me celebrate was truly special, considerate or thoughtful. Balbina and her staff were amazing, I am truly grateful! I then had the pleasure of recieving a few services from the top rated \" Spa by Clarins\" with Arista who was meticulous, professional and had such a warm demeanor that I was immediately comfortable. The Renewal Body Polisher and Hot Stone Massage that literally had me feeling renewed, relaxed and rejuvenated my entire trip as I planned the services the morning after I arrived. If I had to add any feedback of critism it would be because it was on an island, transporation to museaums and such are limited so you would need an uber or schedule a transfer with the hotel *which is pricey*. It was suggested to me to walk to the bus to get to the metro. It was hot and i honestly wasn't sure if I was going to right way until I eventually found the bus so I personally wouldn't suggest that. Otherwise, my stay was a 10/10 and I plan to bring family

It’s a very bad experience in this hotel

It was a very bad experience the second day there was a bad smell getting out from the bathroom I left the room to let them clean it well when I came back at the night it was more bad than before and I was upset and I already called the reception and they send me somebody to put air freshener and to clean it at 11 PM which I should sleep and I didn’t have the time I went back because the smell was so bad and they said we can move you at the 12:30 AM if you want to another room and I agree but they want to late when I went to sleep because they did not respond to me very fast I left the balcony window open just to feel comfortable and to not let the bad smooth bother me imagine you are in a five Star hotel and they said we are going to give you late check out or one day access to the beach club it happens to me before in a crown plaza which is lower grade then the Kempinski and they offer for me a driver during my trip with a car and they return back to me my money and they let me stay for free

Despite appearances, luxurious it is not! If you enjoy a hotel that lets in masses of day guests to use the hotel beach and swimming pools like a kids water park then this is the hotel for you. It may be rated as 5 star but you only need to scratch the surface to see how poor the quality of service offered and how dirty and shabby the hotel is. Also beware of your credit card hold when you check in because its not a hold! They debit the whole amount and if you haven't reached that limit you have to wait a fortnight for the difference to be credited back to your card.

Set on its own private island, this hotel is magnificent. It has great facilities, very helpful staff and all within very well decorated and spacious surroundings. Rooms were very large, even in the basic rate. Also conveniently located as any cab journey was never longer than 25 mins (and that still would only be a £5 journey). Would happily recommend to anyone.

The stay was phenomenal. Everyone my husband and I came into contact with was so helpful and made us feel like royalty honestly. It was an incredible experience from beginning to end. The room was the nicest room I’ve ever stayed in, the balcony was one of the ones that is longer and it felt like our own private villa. I’m from Las Vegas and this was the best hotel stay I’ve ever had so that’s saying a LOT. Just 10/10 all around. It was a pleasure staying there.

Beautiful property, views, details, room surprises and very attentive staff - Rabeena, Delilah, Chaminda, Mehdi, Ravit - to name a few but all were great. I miss it already and couldn’t recommend more.

Every aspect of the hotel is really elegant. It’s on a small island easily accessible by car but secluded just enough. The staff are amazing and really attend to your needs. The quality of the in room bath soaps are a bit bad for a hotel of such caliber and the prices for the restaurants are exorbitant. Overall I absolutely recommend the hotel and the views from every spot on the hotel are breathtaking. The polls are also really nice. Everything accept the food.

Wedding Anniversary

We had a great time in the Marsa Malaz Kempinski. Extremely helpful and pleasant staff. Always with a smile on the face and doing everything they could to please. Special thanks to Mr. Zakarayae Hitachi and all the In Room Dining Team, all the staff from the reception and guest relations and the waiters. they were all amazing and made our wedding anniversary celebration memorable. We will definitely return and strongly recommend them in case you are thinking in having a great time relaxing or celebrating any special date. It was a five star experience with no doubt.
