Lovely welcome on our arrival and no waiting for our room. Combines the old with the new exceptionally well. Bedroom No.4 was very spacious, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, cosy and warm. Hot shower too.
Breakfast delivered to our room at 9.00am, comprised hot bacon, sausage and egg rolls, pastries, orange juice and yogurt. Really nice, enjoyed this personal touch. Fridge in room as well as usual tea making facility, key safe, clothes iron and board . Plenty of drawer and wardrobe space.
Lovely location, quiet in the night, 2 minute walk to the Esplanade and only 5 minutes into the centre of town. Arriived by train, relativlely easy walk along Station Road, Queens Parade, Church Park and Culver Park to Victoria Street. Noticed the large car park at the the end of the stree and behind the hotel, with many visitors arriving and leaving from here.
Would certainly stay here again.

Nice clean hotel with nice large room. Its in a perfect location for the beach , town , restaurants and bars. The complimentry breakfast sent to your room at 9am is a great idea and saves you having to get ready for going down to a dining room for breakfast. The host's are very freindly and dont bother you during your stay. We will stay here again when we come to Tenby.

I have stayed here before and second time round I felt it had improved a lot (not sure why as same owners!) I had the large room 1 on the ground floor which was very comfortable.

Breakfast is a basic basket (with an incredible bacon, sausage and egg bap!!) which suited me well, but maybe it won’t be for everyone, and at 9am quite late for business people.

Tenby cafes don’t seem to open until 9am either.

Wonderful location and with street parking at Tenby a challenge, this hotel is very close to the big south beach car park - warning £10 for overnight stay.

Overall I would use this hotel again.

A fabulous B&B a few mins walk to the beach.

Lovely. Clean & convenient B&B Just out side Tenby in the hotel zone with great sea views with a carpark to the rear with reasonable fees for £10 a night to park. with welcoming staff & great breakfast box to your door at 9 o'clock for a lovely breakfast in bed.

Our room was spacious with a lounge seating area. The room was tastefully decorated with an updated bathroom. It had all the conviences, ie. USB outlets(yay), hairdryer, coffee or tea, kettle, etc. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. I would 100% stay again. Loved it!

We stayed for 3 nights , our bed was comfortable. Clean , bathroom, shower was extremely clean , breakfast was delivered to our room, breakfast was very nice . Overall our stay was perfect , The strathmore hotel is a perfect place to stay . Host Joe is a friendly lovely Guy . We would highly recommend this hotel we give a 10 out of 10 PERFECT. 3 nights in Tenby.

We have not had a good summer In Wales but we managed to get on the beach on 3 of our days in Tenby.
We dined out every evening with planned trip in advance to some of our favourite restaurants. We never got to meet our hosts at the hotel but I think the system in place at the hotel worked perfectly. The room number 3 was beautifully decorated and we even had a small table and 2 chairs that we could sit and look at the sea on a side view this is something we enjoyed the room also had a small fridge which we kept our drinks cold . Well done the hosts at the Strathmore keep doing what you’re doing it definitely works and best of luck in the future. We would definitely stay again and we would love to stay in room 3.😉😎.

This B&B is situated in an ideal position very near to the Esplanade where you can sit and look over the sandy South Beach. The main high street was a very pleasant short walk away , where you can find plenty of places to eat or just sit and enjoy a coffee. Bedroom was very comfortable, clean and had nice decor. All the usual room amenities were available ie tea making, iron, safe etc. Breakfast baskets were brought to your room in the morning. What a wee gem of a place. We absolutely loved our stay. The room was so spacious and immaculately laid out. We enjoyed have the sofa area to sit and relax. Breakfast was 10/10 and we felt very spoilt having it delivered to our room each morning. The love effort and care put into this B&B is obvious for all to see. The property is located in a quiet street, just a very short walk to the city centre and sea front. Public parking is located near to the rear of the hotel.
Our room was well equipped, comfortable and clean.
No dining room at the hotel, however a breakfast basket was delivered to our room each morning which contained a hot breakfast roll (bacon, sausage and egg), cereal bars and yogurts.
We stayed at the hotel for two nights and would certainly return.

My boyfriend & I had a lovely 2 night stay at the Strathmore! Welcomed at check in by a friendly gentleman, the room was stunning & the view from our room (room 5) was great!
We loved the breakfast being brought to the room, around 9am a knock on the door and your breakfast basket left for you to collect when convenient. The breakfast rolls were hot & tasty, lots of other choices included in the basket too, would stay here again for the breakfast option alone.
Overall a perfect stay, perfect location & we will definitely be returning

Owner not there to greet you . Just left keys to room . Room was clean and nice . Couldn’t get much in the wardrobe though. Very odd shape. Breakfast in a basket left outside your door, which I could not get on with at all I don’t know why the dining room isn’t used ? I would have liked a light breakfast.eg cereal and toast . But no options , just breakfast roll and cereal bars , yoghurt and orange juice . No table to eat food on in bedroom so had to eat it on the bed ! Never seen owner at all throughout our stay, so no customer service at all .

This b and b is in a great location, public car park around the corner and some rooms have sea views. 5 mins walk to the centre of Tenby. The room itself was modern and immaculate and super comfy bed. Large shower, large flatscreen tv, safe and small toiletries (one shower gel and one shampoo not enough for two perhaps)
Breakfast is a hamper delivered to you room which we liked with a hot bacon egg and sausage roll, pastry, small juice and yogurt and cereal bar.
Perhaps could do with a little pot of fruit rather than a cereal bar and larger juice.
The corridors need a revamp but don’t let that out you off.
Would definitely return

A very pleasant stay. The room was clean and tidy, lovely view to the sea. Breakfast was served to your room as the dining room is closed for health reasons. And it was delicious and plentiful. Parking was in the street, pot luck. However there was overnight parking(£7) if you were out of luck. Very happy to recommend.

Nice room, very clean. Location good. Parking nearby about £5 to £7 per day. Breakfast in a box in your room was only ok, I like toast and a full English not a breakfast roll. Had to buy tea, coffee and milk as there was not much. The host was a very nice chap. Sea view was a bonus.

Had a lovely week at the strathmore. Easy check in. We had room 6 which was adequate as we don't spend much time in the room. The bathroom is quite small. This room is on the second floor and up a few flights of stairs, so if mobility is an issue this would not be suitable. Breakfast was good cereal, altho we were not offered this somedays, depended who was taking the order, great cooked breakfadt ir sandwich and also toast if required.
Due to covid the rooms are not serviced but anything you want will be replenished just be texting a number.
The hotel is in a fabulous location 100 yards from the beach. It us unlikely you will be able to park outside the hotel as there are limited spaces but there is a car park around the corner which costs £47 for the week. If yiu plan on wating out then book restaurants before you go as it is very hard tomake booking whilst you are there.
Overall a great stay snd a fabulous break wuth plenty of sun.

Cliffside B&B in Welsh resort of Tenby

A great location for people who love to walk on the beach, wander along the sidewalk on the cliff or walk into town to shop and eat. Parking is 7 pounds a day right behind in a public lot. We found on-street parking but only after a lot of work. Smallish rooms but with everything you could need. Quiet street. Full cooked breakfast. We would return in a minute!
