Room great but the double bed was the most uncomfortable ever. I dont have back problems and now have the most painful back. Please get rid of slat bed and replace with a spring base! Would love to stay again but will not only due to the bed.

Our room was very clean and ecellent condition throughout. Well appointed kitchen and comfortable furniture. The room had great natural light, views from windows and balcony and was at the rear corner so very peaceful. There was an Aldi store in east walking distance which was slso very handy.

Three bedrooms, dining table, tv area, master bedroom with ensuite. Balcony overlooking the water. Big unit with heaps of room for family to spread out. Good unit for families with teenagers so they can have their own room. $30 drinks voucher for each night of stay. Indoor heated pool, indoor spa, outdoor pool. Staff all friendly and helpful. Great place to stay. And did I mention the heaps of room…. So much better than everyone being cramped in a tiny motel room. Will definitely stay here on my next visit to Lakes Entrance.

The room and amenities were very clean on arrival. Kitchen was well equipped. Good heater / air conditioner and 2 tvs so we could watch different programs if we wanted to.
My only complaint would be the couches and I find it the same at most accommodation. They are uncomfortable to sit and watch tv or read a book. A couch with a chaise at one end or even a footstool would make it much more comfortable.

Hotel was a little bit tired, especially the swimming pool. Our apartment was comfortable and a good base for a couple of nights.
The staff in the Information Centre in Lakes Entrance were superb and booked us onto an Eco Cruise, which ran for 3 hours + and came complete with a scone and strawberry cream freshly baked on the ship.
There is an excellent restaurant along the esplanade called Sodafish and we had lunch one day and dinner the next.
My husband also managed to get a hair cut in a local salon.

We booked a three bedroom residence. It was so clean and welcoming. Staff were very friendly. Great location at the waterfront. We relaxed very much. We got a last check-out free of charge which was a bonus. Would definitely stay again.

The resort is in very good location.Staff very friendly and helpfull.Pool indoor is exellent for any weather,we did not use ooutdoor one.Spa very relaxing.Meals are delicious ,big portions also served very fast.Good car park with plenty of available places.Shower next to the pool would be good idea to do.

The room was fantastic but heats up during the day.by the afternoon sun. Location was brilliant and loved our small walks down the Esplanade. I would have loved a small aircon in the bedroom and a firmer mattress. Pool and restaurant are also great.

We were allocated a room that was part of a double room situation. We had the A door and the other had B door - while each was seperately locked theior was a main door sharted by both. This is not what we booked. In addition the guest in the B room came and went all night till 2 am and slammed doors and we could not sleep. We asked them to pelase be respectful and the became aggressive to us. There was no phone in room or way of getting hotel to deal with as desk at front was unmanned and we did not feel safe going down. Also facilities were poor. This was NO SPA hotel. Chaisr at pool were very limited. No shade and broken umbrellas. NOt what we boooked and paid for and expected.

Room was clean, but there was a lingering smell that was not pleasant. The fridge was not cold - milk remained at room temperature regardless of turning the dial to colder. When this was brought to the attention of staff, it is presumed they looked at it, but did not fix it. The pool was dominated by children the entire time - having an adults only period (e.g., 7-9pm) would be much better. Air con did not reach into the bedroom. Bed was not comfortable. The hotel is in a good location, has a nice setup overall, and is in a beautiful town.

The unit was quite good but the cooking facilities could do with an update. The only fry pan was huge and really not suitable for 2 people. Very old as well. No tongs and no strainer suitable for rice. Hot plates are the old solid plate electric ones.

Very impressed with the room and decor. Great value. Lovely pool area and spa. Unfortunately the spa stopped working. $20 a night voucher for dining or bar. No where to sit encourages people to drink in their room. Dining basic but good to have an offer. Staff friendly apart from 1 on reception when we arrived.
Would recommend friends to stay here.

On the evening of July 12th, we experienced an extremely terrifying moment on our last night at the hotel. The wire of the bathroom heat lamp in room 106, which was provided by the hotel, short-circuited and caused a fire. We immediately turned off the main power and managed to extinguish the fire ourselves.

However, it was more than half an hour after I called the hotel after hour emergency contact number that a security guard from a third-party security company arrived to inspect the situation. The security guard then called the fire department. I informed the security guard that due to the safety hazard, Room 106 could no longer be occupied. The security guard contacted the hotel management, and arrangements were made for us to stay in two twin share rooms instead.

Regrettably, until today, no one from the hotel management has reached out to me regarding this incident. This hotel management does not care about its guests and has serious management issue.

Reply was the washing machine was in the room next door and was a lot more expensive .
Offered to pay extra and was declined .

We had our grandson with us and he loved the indoor spa and pool. The restaurant is an easy spot for a pleasant meal. Our executive suite with 2 bedrooms was clean and thoughtfully laid out.

The only minor issue we had was the SLOW lift access.

All the staff we met were very helpful and friendly.
We all enjoyed our stay.

When booking, request not to get room 405.
There was an annoying persistent noise in the main bedroom of our 2 bedroom apartment, which never stopped and kept us awake all night.
When we raised the issue with staff, they came and checked and agreed it was annoying and then just ignored us and made no attempt to suggest alternative accommodation or compensate us for the inconvenience and frustration.
When we checked out they asked us to email management so they are aware of the issue for future guests!
Obviously, once they received there payment from us it was no longer their concern.

Nice place to stay for a couple of days while travelling back from Great Ocean Rd. The apartment was clean, had everything required, fridge freezer, washer, micro, cooker and dishwasher. There was a shared dryer, iron and ironing board between 2 apartments. We didnt have a lake view however we didnt mind as we were out mostly.

They dressed it up by telling us that the room had another bedroom with bunks in it

The one bedroom apartment was very spacious, even had a balcony. The living room is very well spaced, with 2 double couches and a dining table for 4. Tv in both living room and bedroom. Non-stick pan and plastic utensils were a bit dirty and damaged, but can use the stainless pots if needed. Even though parking spots are not allocated to rooms, but there were plenty of undercover and street parking. Walking distance to shops and restaurants, Aldi is right behind the back fence. Would stay there again.

Wouldn’t recommend. Overpriced for the current state of the property. Needs general upkeep and safety maintenance. Bar staff weren’t polite and charged us more than the prices listed on the menu. Pool ladder is rusted and broken, underwater pool light is broken and hanging in water which cut my foot, hottub was not hot, no pool towels. Wifi in room did not work on our devices or on the hotel TV. Drywall and furniture in room needs repair/refinishing. Only positive was the bed was comfortable enough.
