An Absolute Paradise – 100% Recommended!
My wife and I recently stayed at the Turquoise Resort in Roatan, and it was everything we could have hoped for. The resort is incredibly quiet, private, peaceful, and absolutely lovely.

The food was hands-down the best we’ve had, but what truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. Special props to **Karen Isabela**—she is highly professional, clearly knows her job, and is exceptionally well-informed and well-trained.

We also want to extend a huge, special thank you to the Restaurant Manager, **Vanessa Avila**. We had a small hiccup during check-in, but Vanessa completely went above and beyond for us. She made sure we felt incredibly welcomed and fixed everything immediately, doing the absolute best for us.

We absolutely love this location. It is well worth every penny, and we recommend it 100%! We can't wait to come back.

I loved my stay at this hotel. It is very peaceful and perfect for spending a weekend. The views are spectacular, and the food was 20/10.

However, the main issue is that the meal schedules are very limited. They should offer snacks throughout the day so that guests who do not want to wake up early for breakfast still have something to eat during the day.

Another suggestion would be to expand the variety of activities available within the hotel and offer more tour options for guests who want to explore the island.

Other than that, it is an excellent place to relax, recharge your mind, and get some rest I would definitely come back.

If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful get away... this is the place. The resort is small with only about 25 rooms. It's a bit dated but rooms were spacious, clean and the AC worked wonderfully well. The best part about the resort is the beach. It's absolutely gorgeous. Cruise ships drop people off at the beach from about 8:30am -2:30pm and the place goes into beach party mode with live music and beach bars. After the cruise crowd leaves, you have the entire place to yourself... literally! Staff was helpful and kind. They do sort of have an island mentality- work very slow and don't go out of their way. If you do ask for help or need something they attend to it but for as many people staffed at the resort, I would think the service would have been a little better. Regarding the food. The restaurant is a very small, buffet style but surprisingly the food changes daily with different style cuisines and was surprisingly very good with a nice variety each day. Bar services was good. They told me the coffee machine was down, but I think it was because no one wanted to go through the process of making it in the morning. It is about a 40 min drive from the West end so you need to hire a driver. Private 1/2 day island tour was $120. The only bad thing about the whole trip was the noseeums (sand fleas). If you are not prepared on the beach, they will get you good, especially in the late afternoon/ evening. I recommend moving up to the pool or out to the overwater cabanas.

Mi experiencia en Turquoise Bay Resort fue simplemente inolvidable. No tengo palabras suficientes para agradecer a todo su increíble equipo por el trato tan excepcional que nos brindaron. Desde el primer momento, cada persona fue amable, respetuosa y siempre dispuesta a ayudar. La playa es espectacular, limpia y hermosa; la piscina impecable; y el ambiente perfecto para descansar y disfrutar en familia.
Pero lo que realmente marcó la diferencia fue la calidad humana. Viajé con mi hijo y, cuando se enfermó, TODO el personal estuvo pendiente de nosotros de una manera que nunca olvidaré. Fue impresionante ver cómo cada uno sabía lo que pasaba y se acercaba con cariño, preocupación y ganas de ayudar. Ese tipo de atención no se enseña, nace del corazón.
Y cuando ya estuvo mejor, se convirtió en “el niño del hotel” , rodeado de sonrisas y atenciones por todos lados.
Me voy profundamente agradecido, emocionado y con ganas de volver. Lugares así no solo se visitan… se sienten.
Gracias por tanto. Sin duda, una experiencia que recomiendo con los ojos cerrados

From my very first day until my departure, you all made me feel extremely comfortable and right at home. The private beach is a plus. Gets packed for a few hours when the folks from cruises come. By 2pm everyone leaves and you have the beach back all to yourself. The food was great and the staff were very attentive

Overall, we had a really nice stay. My husband and I visited for four nights and that was just the right amount of time. Some of the staff members were awesome- very kind and helpful, but a large number of the staff members were very standoffish and it seemed like they hated their job. The food was good, but a lot of the leftover food was reused later in the day or the next. I’m glad they weren’t wasting it but it did get a bit boring. The cocktails needed help. In most of the cocktails you could only taste juice. We like a stiff drink, so we weren’t sure if it was just us, but on our last night we heard another guest complaining about the same thing. The beach and the cabanas were beautiful. We chose this resort because of the beautiful brach and it did not disappoint.

We picked this resort because it was all inclusive and so we could go scuba diving. It was perfect for us. The staff were phenomenal and so kind. The food and drinks delicious. Amazing diving near by. We will definitely be back

We had a great week at Turquoise Bay! The grounds are beautiful, great beach, delicious food, and friendly staff! They have their own farm and the food is all freshly prepared with lots of variety. It is a very quiet and a very relaxing resort. We went diving with their dive ship and it was very easy to schedule each day and their prices for dives was very reasonable. I’m sure we will return in the future!
