It was good overall. I would give it 4 out of 5 stars because there were just a couple of things that I didn’t like, but I would still recommend this hotel to others. One issue was that the toilet was a little dirty, and I saw a baby cockroach in the room. Also, from the very first moment we arrived, most of the staff were very nice, friendly, and attentive. However, when I went to ask for an iron because there wasn’t one in the room, the lady at the front desk was not rude, but she had a poor attitude and did not provide good customer service. That said, I would not give the hotel a bad review because of one person. Overall, our stay was enjoyable. The food was delicious, and we were very happy with our experience. We really enjoyed the entertainment, the atmosphere, and the location, aside from those two issues.

The hotel is infested with cockroaches and mice, I had to kill a cockroach in the room, told the staff and the only thing they did was to spray a lot of pesticide inside the room without my consent and with all my things inside, they even expected us to sleep in that room without a 2 and 4 year old, since I complained they ended up changing our room, but their poor communication and lack of good customer service made our stay not enjoyable at all.To sum it up it was the worst experience, don’t stay there if you want a nice hotel with nice customer service go to Mayan.

la habitacion fue lo mejor. el personal desmotivado y pocas ganas. siendo un all inclusive, es pesimo lo que ofrecen. una sola marca de cerveza en lata. alcohol de la peor calidad y en vasos de plastico. el agua de bidon en copos de carton o papel. el horario del bar de la piscina es limitadisimo y cortan temprano. la comida es muy basica. pollo arroces, pizza panes, alguna sopa y algo de pescado. parece un tenedor libre chino de mala calidad. no hay opciones de carne. comida amontonada. los postres muy basicos. pocas frutas. el desayuno lo mismo. no lo recomiendo como all inclusive. la ubicacion y el acceso a la playa es lo mejor. la playa es 10 puntos. pocas veces vi algo similar. el servicio de playa es limitado, las reposeras y zona de palmeras es muy buena. hay duchas. la infraestructura general esta un poco deteriorada y mal mantenida. los caminos, las maderas del piso mal mantenidas.

This is a budget friendly place where local Hondurans from mainland come with their families. All inclusive food and drink was limited to a few mixed drink options and one local beer type and it only has one buffet option with mediocre food but enough variety to find something everyone can eat. There are options to pay for better beers and wine and coffee shop. Sewage systems can’t handle toilet paper so Americans and Europeans be aware that you are throwing your toilet paper in a trash can next to the toilet. Beds are comfy. And showers are hot and good water flow. The Check in process took a long time because everything is paper forms, and they issue you only one room key, AC remote and TV remote must be turned in at check out. I would only stay here again for a quick all-guys scuba diving trip but for wife and kids probably will look for something else. Beach vendors will harass you constantly to buy anything they are selling.

Our room did not meet our expectations at all. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, the toilet seat was loose, and the mirror was crooked. The bathroom floor also had visible cracks, and even the door was damaged. Overall, the condition of the room felt poorly maintained and disappointing.

Overall we had a wonderful stay. Our room was large with 2 queen size beds. The room was clean and well furnished. we had 2 closets and a table with 2 chairs. The room was nicely decorated and well maintained. we also had a balcony with a nice view. The only negative was that the pillows on the bed were a little to large for me, my wife liked their size. The people and the resort were wonderful. Breakfast was my favorite meal. We had sausage, eggs and bacon and anything else you could possibly want. The resort is on West Bay beach and offers terrific swimming and snorkeling.

The standard room I stayed in (H) was just okay. The room could have been a little cleaner (dust). The room seemed like one of the older ones on the first floor but the back deck was nice with the hammock.

I stayed one night in G and the room was beautiful with a process bed and seemed like a newer room. The water was not exactly hot though. My only advice is the shake out the hammock before you get into it and spray it with bug spray or something natural like a citrus repellant.

we had a wonderful room that was close to the beach, the pool was across from us and the restaurant was just a stroll away. we got lucky with our room being so close, would recommend the letters k or l for-sure, other rooms its a distance to walk to the beach, but wonderful just the same

The property is run down. There was no place to put your bathroom things. A plastic table for your shower things. The only food that was edible is breakfast. The drinks were limited to Miller High Life and cheap liquor. The pool was full of screaming kids. We ate the money and went to Acqua Del Mar instead. Went from rags to riches.

We recently stayed at Henry Morgan Resort in Roatán and would like to share some constructive feedback.
First, we truly appreciated the friendliness of the staff. The reception team was welcoming and helpful, and both security and housekeeping did a good job. The buffet staff provided attentive service, and the beach location is absolutely beautiful. The pool area is well situated and offers a relaxing atmosphere.
We did, however, encounter some concerns that we hope management will address. The resort layout is spread out with wooden walkways rather than an open-concept design. While this adds charm, some of the wooden decking — particularly around the pool areas — appears worn, and we noticed a few nails sticking up, which could pose a safety risk.
We also experienced repeated issues with our room key card not working. We had to visit the front desk multiple times to have it reactivated. On one occasion, after it was fixed and we left for dinner, it stopped working again when we returned that evening, requiring another trip back to reception. Additionally, the room lighting was quite dim, and the shower could benefit from a deeper cleaning.
The pools range from approximately 2 to 5 feet in depth, which may be important information for adult guests who prefer deeper swimming areas.
Our most serious concern involved the piña colada machine. After drinking from it, my wife became very ill. The milk appeared curdled, and she was vomiting for several hours and lost an entire day

Pros:
Almost all of the staff was extremely attentive and friendly, besides the front desk ladies who seem to have a attitude towards the people checkin.

Attentive dinning area staff, and bartenders.

Good restaurant.

Good location.

Con: the facilities are terribly outdated and falling apart.

The bathroom had tile that was come off/broken and was getting molded.

The roof had stains all over.

Toilet was broken and leaked water.

Could not closed the door well since the hinges was broken due to rotted doorframe.

The table in the room was rusted.

Worse part is that they had a sewage pipe break in-front of our room and did nothing. We had 2 rooms on block D and it was reported to their mantaince staff. The room smelled like sweage every time you flushed the bathroom. Outside of the room terrible like sewage.

They kept trying to get is to join their better package of VIP room block. Paid $1.7 k that felt wasted for the terrible conditions.

The room was spacious, clean and nicely updated. (Could use a toilet paper holder!)
The staff were very professional and kind. Particularly Romerio in the dining room, Janessa and Ingrid in entertainment and Felisha from the customer service area. The food was good and plentiful. The facility was a bit dated, but everything was clean and well kept.
I would have no hesitation to return to this resort.

The room’s size is commendable, and the decor exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere. However, the room could benefit from some upgrades. Notably, several drawers were damaged and require attention.
While the food was delicious, the menu could be expanded to offer a wider variety of options.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. It is exceptionally cozy and clean. However, we had a concern regarding the lack of bottled water. Upon arrival, we were provided with one bottle of water per person. To obtain additional water, guests were instructed to retain the empty bottle and refill it at the water fountain. This policy proved inconvenient, as it necessitated frequent refills.
The most exceptional aspect of our stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Enrique and Javier from the entertainment team were exceptionally welcoming, professional, courteous, and efficient. Their dedication to making our stay memorable was truly commendable. ;)
Will definitely be back!

I want to just provide feedback to help for future service! Half the staff was helpful and the other seemed to not want to be there. The room didn’t have any hot water and overall the appearance of the hotel was well below average. The food options were slim and the food was at various times cold. I noticed also that the fruit was canned fruit verses fresh. I travel often to all inclusives and none of these are ever concerns I think there is great potential as the surrounding resorts surpassed these expectations but definitely improvement in all areas is needed! I do hope notes are taken from this and you can improve your business. I truly have the best wishes for this resort!

My family and I went on a family trip 1/5-1/9 it was 7 of us. We had 3 rooms just for more comfort. All 3 rooms were right behind the reception desk and far from everything which we had no choice so that did not matter honestly. Since we had 3 rooms we were all able to see the difference in all. Rooms were E1, E2 & E4. Rooms were clean, 2 beds bathroom and 2 hammocks. Room E1 did not have blankets THE ENTIRE STAY even after we asked for blankets 3 times, all they said was they would send them with house keeping but never did. That same room also never got housekeeping done, no towels or anything. E2 did get clean most of the week and towels were changed. E4 did not get house keeping, towels or waters. They only provide water the first day then you use that to refill the whole stay. Mind you out of all the 3 rooms only E1 had 2 waters the first day, E2 had 3 since it was 3 of us in the room the second day but E4 did not get any any day. Whenever I asked for towels they would just ask for the room number but never bothered actually bringing them. Now food, food was okay. Breakfast was the most authentic but lunch & dinner was pretty much the same menu. The key cards suck, for room E2 & E4 we had to go to the reception about 4 times each to get new ones because they would stop working. Main reason I would NEVER come back here though its because the male staff made you feel uncomfortable on how they look at you, the older ones. One even came knocking on the door for what? Scary!

Decent place for the money. The bad. Doesn’t match the Expedia description in that. Many of the amenities dont exist or arent included. Only 1 of the restaurants is included. They dont have pool/billiard tables. The real check in time is 3 not 2. The bar only had miller highlife which is fine. The drink selection was limited. The transportation shuttle is a joke. They will only go to 1 of 2 ferrys to La Ceiba. And you have to tell them 2 days prior. The good. The beach is un real the sand and water are 10/10. The pool is also good. With lots of chairs. The food is about what you expect at a buffet. Still enjoyed the food. The room was very clean and they cleaned it daily. The staff was all very helpful and professional. I would maybe go again. For the price its a good deal.

Contacting the hotel is a nightmare. They have 6-8 numbers, of which none are answered. You call the 4-star sister hotel, and it's as bad as this one. Setting up the transfer at the last minute is a nightmare; they'll never answer the phones or messages, and the transfers are overcharged. You are better off setting up a transfer from a local taxi service. Restaurant amenities are limited, and forget about having all-inclusive drinks included! Like, what's the point of the all-inclusive? One restaurant, bar with little to no local beverages, but they'll sell them to you, which is insane, ridiculous. The food is average, and most staff members are welcoming and nice.

The property was OK. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel- this isn’t for you. The reception staff was not welcoming or friendly. You get a piece of paper with information, 1 key card per room, beach towel card, and a tv remote control. You are expected to return all when you check out. The bed was comfortable, room simple, and bathroom beyond outdated. But- we had hot water, clean sheets, and air conditioning. The property is outdated and in need of being remodeled. The staff does a good job cleaning and trying to upkeep. The food was good- only 1 restaurant, a snack bar (just had nachos) and multiple bars. The beach is gorgeous and the location is perfect! Also, the entertaining team tries their hardest to make your stay fun. Just wish they communicated when shows and events were occurring. Overall- it’s a 2.5 mayyybe 3 star hotel out of 5.

Overall good. The property was beautiful. Food was great, the room was just average, maybe a tad below. It was clean but dated. The shower head and bathroom faucet was a mist. Sheets were rough and the blanket included was scratchy fleece. They had a night show that was pretty loud and lasted til 11pm, so hard to fall asleep to that, and there were bright lights outside not blocked by the curtains. The drinks that were included were good and a nice variety (beer and mixed drinks) Staff was very friendly, but be prepared for a bunch of people everywhere trying to sell you an excursion or something. It’s definitely family friendly, with some activities for the kids. Pools were nice. The grounds were well maintained. If you’re a drinker and want included food it was great. The ALL-INCLUSIVE is not all inclusive, unless you enjoy Miller Lite and High life beer. They will charge you extra for everything else, including lattes, champagne for mimosas. The staff was rude at times, the food was NOT good at all. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

The first day arrived at the hotel I was miserable. I had requested a room ocean view and the hotel never responded any of my mails . I was assigned a room with no trees around in the B31 section. It was so hot. No winds blew. According to the manager there was no more room available. Only one card key is given per two person in a room. The sink was damage. The next day July 25, I had to basically plea to get another room and a card key for the room. Thanks God that there is an Angel named Kimberly that understand customers needs and is very supportive. She was very helpful in getting our family transportation. The hotel need more people that know how to deal with customers like Kimberly. The food si very good, the workers at the cafeteria are excellent. Can’t complain about the food. The drinks at the bar not good. I wanted Honduran beers not miller lite and cheap sugary drinks. The hotel looks good but too hot and too many mosquitoes. .The taxi and bus drivers are very friendly specially Celin . Celin and George were constantly checking on us and offering their help. The dancers from Tegucigalpa excellent show.

Henry Morgan has a great securiry in place, very nice and kind personel and the food is good.the rooms needs a lot of impruvemens, bathrooms are in very poor conditions, no coffe maker in the rooms as telephone to communicate with the front desk in case of emergency. There are no funs around the halls outside of dinning rooms area. 90 percent of the beach chairs are broken and there are not umbrelas to protect you from the sun.

I had issue with my air conditioner in my room and they did not fix it the coolest it got was 75 degree F. Also no service at pool or the beach you had to walk back to bar to get a drink which i never experience in a all inclusive hotel, but people who came on cruise with daily passes and had to pay for their drinks had this luxury.

Some of the staff aren’t friendly nor helpful at all. The rooms aren’t as pictured, I had to ask to be moved to what I paid for.

Loud music till 11:00 PM. Put us in a pool room , when we selected a garden view as stated in our iteniary . They would never fix TV after two attempts and several requests.
We left after 2 of our 6 paid days. How do we request refund?

Need cleaning bad!
Make sure you have a backup plan about transportation, after confirming with them more than 3 times at the airport they told us they were not picking us up.
Pool was so dirty! The mattress very dirty, bathroom and outside shower. The tv never worked. Bar only have a few drinks available. The security was smoking weed at night time while working. The hotel needs work

I loved that it was all inclusive. The room was super clean, spacious, beach front, the rustic feel. I love that it is all wood and the greenery. The Karaoke entertainer was the best. The gentlemen at the bar so friendly so attentive. At the dinner the gentlemen and ladies serving made us feel like family. Also we met Massaging girl in front of the dinner awesome made me relax on my anniversary vacation. I had a blast it was our 12 year wedding anniversary. I didn't want to leave. Beautiful place to stay.

We had door locked couples of times I had to go to lobby ask them what is going on first We had to You people about the reservation on June 16 We talk to two people about We had flight delay We to go to Laguardia to next day.

Pros: Beautiful a intimate property. Very natural, and the staff do their best to maintain it. Overall, it is older and could use a facelift, but beautiful beach. Also, it is a very \"locals\" hotel... the staff spoke only Spanish, and all entertainment was geared towards locals and spanish-speakers. Customer service is amazing, and the food was great on the weekend. On the weekdays, people from cruise can buy a day-pass to hotels, and vendors PACK the beaches. I would say 3.5/5 overall due to efforts. Local alcohol, nothing top shelf. And not too many places to eat, especially late at night. For daytime and just a place to stay while you take in the island - perfect. I must say, it was also super safe. I felt very comfortable there the entire time.

Outdated resort but the staff was really nice although the maids barely cleaned our rooms. Also be prepared for no wifi. Theres only wifi in the lobby and bar area. Other than that the food was good and the staff always has activities for everyone!

The light goes off every minute there is no phone in the rooms the internet does not work the bathrooms of the rooms have bad smell the Wi-Fi only works in lobes and not in the rooms the food is not the best

Some of the staff were great and others not so much. Housekeeping missed our room one day. Food was never as hot as we like it. Wish more of the staff spoke some English. Old property in need of an update. Entertainment too loud at night. Sprayed for insects when guests were present or 5:30am
