This is the old Hilton and the rooms and building shows it but staff were helpful despite language barriers at times. Extravagant breakfast buffet. Revolving restaurant is way overpriced for quality of food. Excellent view of Nile from the balcony side.

Revolving restaurant is amazing. Great views and food very romantic.

Staff are very helpful and polite.

Location is ideal if travelling to pyramids and museums both around 30 mins drive. About £5 in an Uber.

Room is adequately clean and comfortable but could do with a refurb however nothing to complain about.

I did visit the Spa and gym. Good machines and good facilities overall.

All in all a good hotel I would stay again if in Cairo

The only downside was my room was cold as the ac was left on full and the heating didn’t work and I struggled to lock the balcony door.

I didn’t follow up as it was a short stay so maybe they could have fixed it if given the chance.

The hotel is in very poor condition and urgently needs a complete renovation. The carpet in both the lobby and the rooms is extremely old, stained, and visibly dirty. This creates a serious health concern, especially for guests with breathing problems such as asthma.

The bathrooms are outdated, the wall outlets are old and worn, and overall the property appears neglected. It seems the condition has not improved since Hilton took over from El Hayat.

To make matters worse, we discovered a bedbug on the bed. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about cleanliness and guest safety.

This experience was very disappointing, and I strongly urge management to address these serious issues immediately.

I was in room 2939. Room was nice. Guest relation Ms Marina was prompt and courteous.

The lobby of this hotel was great and the views of the Nile was lovely.

We had a memorable stay and the staff were all very good, always smiling.

Convenient location to get around.

On a clear day we could see the Pyramids from our balcony.

The buffet breakfast had a good variety of food which was well enjoyed.

This is a well located hotel with impressive facilities. The lobby smells amazing and the pool is fantastic. The staff was largely polite and helpful. We could see the pyramids from our balcony. The rooms could use a facelift, and the breakfast buffet was underwhelming.

Great service, attentive staff and nice view on the Nile. The breakfast is wonderful with egg station, waffle/pancake station and a variety of food. Quite the spread. I would recommend to get it when you book your room. It avoid the hassle to get it outside of the hotel. We also tried the Nubian restaurant at night for more local food. This restaurant is part of the hotel so very practical at night. Room was okay. But all good as we only need two to three days maximum in Cairo. Frankly two days is enough.

Had a great few nights here, beautiful view over Cairo and good location. Facilities are great, lovely pool area, lobby and convenient shops and cash points in the hotel. Our room was spotless, quite large and the bed was so comfortable it was a struggle to get out of it! Breakfast for room service was the only downfall, we didn't quite get what we ordered and it was more expensive than advertised, aswell as arriving early. The spa was fantastic and the staff very helpful and attentive. Massages were very relaxing. Helpful note - jacuzzi and sauna is separated for men and women so if you are travelling as a couple you can't use together but it was still really lovely. The revolving restaurant at the top was also fantastic, great sweeping 360 degree view of the Nile and the city and the steaks are cooked to perfection. All of the staff here were helpful, friendly and polite. You can also store your luggage when you check out so you can maximise your last day. I would definitely stay here again, thankyou so much for a wonderful stay!

The room sizes are perfect, providing spacious rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is directly connected to shops. The food quality is excellent, with a wide variety of options available in the buffet at both breakfast and dinner. If you want to visit any place, there is dedicated staff with very knowledgeable guides. The hotel has its own dinner cruise on the Nile. The dining experience in their revolving restaurant at the top is a must, offering exceptional food quality.

Check in processing is slow and takes long time. It should be here is my ID and here is your room key as anywhere abroad. Long lines of guests waiting to check in while each guest takes significant time to process the check in.

In front of main entrance there is aggressiveness and shouting in not making Uber cars or any car wait for their customer for at least two minutes and making cars not stop and keep going in circles around the entrance until the customer arrives to main entrance.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and highly recommend it for its excellent service and central location. The staff is incredibly helpful and always available when you need assistance. However, I suggest adding more front desk staff to streamline the check-in process, as it took over an hour, which was inconvenient after a tiring day of travel.
The breakfast buffet is fantastic, priced at around $20 per adult, and offers a great variety. A special shout-out to Samah Zaki in the breakfast area—she greeted us with a warm, charming smile, helped us find seating, and ensured we were well taken care of. Her kindness, humor, and caring nature truly brightened our mornings, and my wife adored her. Samah deserves a promotion for her outstanding service!
The hotel’s location is perfect, with easy access to taxis and Uber, making it ideal for exploring the area. The rooms are comfortable, though minor maintenance issues, like a faulty water kettle and a burnt-out bathroom light, needed attention. The staff promptly resolved both issues, which we appreciated. Overall, this is a great place to stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The property is the usual Hilton style. My suite was excellent with the view of the Nile. The service was horrible. Did not have WIFI for almost three days. Communicated the issue to all staff and manager but responded after three days. Checkout was a nightmare waited in line for an hour. Very chaotic at the reception no order at all.

My stay at the hotel was a highly unpleasant experience from check-in to check-out. The most distressing incident occurred when a housekeeping staff member entered my room unannounced while I was asleep in the morning. His behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional. Throughout my stay, housekeeping and room service personnel persistently expected monetary tips for every interaction.

The breakfast was of poor quality and lacked basic hygiene standards. The rooms were outdated, and both the toilet and the hot water shower were not functioning. Despite submitting multiple repair requests, the issue remained unresolved unless I offered additional payment.

The hotel management must take serious note of such inappropriate conduct, which not only disrespects guests but also significantly tarnishes the hotel’s reputation. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel under any circumstances.

We ordered extra bed and got charged for it, my husband ended up sleeping on the floor because it never showed up.

We had a large group that checked in and a majority of the rooms had the strong odor of cigarette smoke. The hotels first response was to open a window and it took me having a local friend to get them to change my room.
The room itself was dirty. Along the wall and toilets were the worse

Overall I felt safe at the hotel and it’s in a good location and the view is beautiful

We had the room on 35th floor and the view was stunning. It’s a huge hotel, so don’t expect personable service. One of the best hotel we had in our entire Egypt trip.
Pros:
- Nice spacious and clean room
- Beautiful Nile view.
- Next to a local small mall which has a mini mart selling tidbits and drinks.
- They have a few restaurants within the hotel.
- Easy to get around but best to call an Uber to pick you up.
- We ordered room service which delivered the food very fast on time. Bill was settled on the spot when food is delivered.
Cons:
- Restaurants seem to be competing heavily for business. We were asked constantly to go into each restaurant as we walked past.
- The balcony door doesn’t close well. As the wind was very strong, the room was rather cold even after we turn off the aircon. This was during April.
- Hotel is extremely busy, which is expected.
- Public toilet stinks.
- Shower area is within the bathtub. Climbing in and out is a problem as the bathtub is very high. I’d imagine that a problem for older folks.
