Great location just outside the old Toruń, amazing staff, Joanna was great helped us with all our requests. Great rooms with a lot of space and all you need from a fridge to an electric kettle and coffees. You need to pay for parking but at least you can leave it there during the stay since the city is walkable..great place would recommend

Bardzo dobry hotel. Idealna lokalizacja. Nowoczesny pokój, nowowyremontowany. Dobry standard wyposażenia. Czajnik, kawa, herbata w pokoju. Lodówka w pokoju. Dobre jasne oświetlenie. Z minusów - brak WiFi - to skandal w hotelu!!! Zwłaszcza dla zagranicznych gości - to dyskwalifikuje ten hotel. Miniaturowe biurko - brak miejsca do pracy na laptopie. Oświetlenie - nowe i wiele lampek, niestety nie wszystkie działają, a wyłączniki rozmieszczone są chaotycznie i trzeba szukać, który łącznik jest od której lampki. Ze śniadania nie korzystałem. Jest parking hotelowy, a w pobliżu dużo parkingów miejskich, w weekendy bezpłatnych - uwaga na strefy parkingowe.

A very nice hotel, conveniently located to Old Town Toruń. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were excellent. Very comfortable, clean and spacious. We are planning to stay here with a group in May. My only complaint is that I would like to see a few more cereal choices for breakfast.

Very convenient to historic area. If traveling by train, Toruń Miasto (local train station) is a short 5-10 minute walk. Local train from Toruń Glowny (Main intercity station) is one stop away from Toruń Miasto and a 5 minute ride.

Torun - Walking Distance to Old Town

Style wise the hotel was a tad dated, however it was clean and comfortable. It was wonderfully located, close to both the New Town and Old Town Squares. The staff was very helpful in getting us to local sites and restaurants. All in all, if you are looking for a clean, comfortable, inexpensive place to stay for a few days in Torun, this is the place. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

The rooms were a throw back to communist times and some rooms are not en suite. Bathroom was old and not very clean and the rest of the furniture was very old and very used. There were what appeared to be blood on the mattress. Very good breakfast though but that doesn't make up for the rest. Very good staff who deserve better.

Friendly efficient staff, good location on edge of old town, comfortable bed, good bathroom. CNN on TV. Lift. We booked another night after we got there. Wifi was sometimes unreliable in room but worked well in corridor when we really needed it.

Good inexpensive hotel. We had a room with a private shower, so I can't comment on shared shower facilities.
Pros:
1. Great location on the edge of the New Town of Toruń, easy to walk to the Old Town,
2. There was a small refrigerator in the room,
3. We were allowed to leave our luggage in the storage on the last day, after checking out, when we wanted to spend a few more hours in Toruń.
Cons:
1. Refrigerator was under the desk, occupying the place where I would like to put my legs.
2. Some lights in the room did not work,
3. Our room was clean, but could be a bit cleaner.
Overall, I would certainly recommend this hotel, and gladly stay there again.

Great value, all you need and nothing you don't

Some of the nicer rooms on the upper floors (i.e. With the big hot tub) are of great quality (especially for the price) and the regular rooms on the lower floors are really sufficient for most trips and offer all you need at a reasonable price in a central location.

The reception staff were excellent cannot fault them.
Hotel very close to the centre.
Clean needs an upgrade.

What i disliked was the fact that the bed i had had a flat sheet on it not fitted, so i found myself waking up in the night lying on a bare mattress. This is consider very un hygenic.
I raised this with the receptionist and she told me that they had other complaintsd about it.

Extremely handy to old town, yet quiet. Only real problem: shower stall barely fits a person, let alone a bar of soap--highly inconvenient.

As at all the hotels we stayed at, parking costs money. Which it shouldn't, if the lot is just a worn-down back yard. Thank heavens it didn't rain!

I assume WiFi was not high speed, it often disconnected. The stuffs were just told me that other customers never complained, when I reported. The curtain strings were repaired with masking tapes, and one of them of course broke.

Excellent for the price I paid

At the edge of the old town. 15min walk south from Autobus station, much further walk if coming from train station. Quite a big classic hotel. Bathing facilities outside but the room allocated comes with a tiolet and wash basin. Not sure if all rooms are the same though. Enough for the cold weather.

Location and convenience

Located very close to the Old Town of the city. Parking lot right at the hotel. Very responsibly priced. Many better hotels in town are locking that. Cafeteria style breakfast room. Good selection of food for the money.
There is a slight charge for the parking, however we've gladly paid for that.
Overall, very happy with the stay.

nice hotel less than 2 blocks from Old Town

Very clean and nicely located from Old City and Bus Station. You don't much help to find anything and the basic map offered was enough. Everything was either very good or excellent. The bed was comfy and room a good size. The maids are smiling and ask about your needs. There was gel soap in the separate bathrooms. The only problem was that I could not call \"collect\" to Canada for emergency as phone is only local. If I go back to Torun, I'll choose Kopernik Hotel, again.

Great value hotel in Torun

This hotel is situated near the eastern end of the Old Town of Torun. It is excellent value. My room was quite sizeable, with good bathroom facilities and a small balcony. There is a lift, which is convenient when carrying luggage. Car parking is available for a small daily charge. I would recommend this place to anyone, and I would stay here again.

Hotel is great location - short walk to all there is to see. The shower is great - small but good pressure. Price was good. Beds were bad. Squeaky, uncomfortable and not good if you are tall (has wood at bottom) and had springs digging in your back. The hotel would be quiet (outside is quiet), but the cleaning staff started at 7:30am and did not seem to realize people were still trying to sleep - they were very loud talking and slamming doors. I would stay here again because of the location and price, but it's nothing special.

A PLACE TO STAY IN TORUN

Location proved to be very good. Able to walk from bus station on arrival and then use a nearby local railway station to catch train across the river to the main station. Main town attractions all very walkable. Good range of local style breakfast choices. One reception staff member in particualr was very helpful when I had problems doing on line train booking. She sorted my difficulties out.
Hotel has two classes of rooms. First floor is 2 star and rest is 3 star. My Expedia booking put me on the first floor. Twin bed room was small with limited space (it would have been a tight fit for two people), small table and chair, tv and hot water kettle - but no cups or tea/coffee sachets. Two small bottles mineral water daily was good. Small ensuite but a shared shower across the hall way. Window door opened on to a small balcony. Bit small to be really functional.

The $20/extra for a \"Comfort\" room = good idea!

First I booked a low price room for $25since I only wanted a place to shower/change clothes, and write a few emails during a day trip.

The room was pretty small, the walls thins, the smell like paint. I assumed if I could hear the guy in the next room talking, he could probably hear me.

Once I realized I was going to stay for 2 days, I asked how much more for a nice size room, that was quiet and peaceful. For $20/more/night, it was a wonderful investment. They offered me a corner room, 2-3x larger, that was peaceful, quiet, with refrigerator, spacious with plenty of light, and plenty of dark-out curtains.

Lesson learned, inspect room options before checkin. The $44 room I got could have cost triple in other parts of the city.

Staff at desk was friendly, printed train tickets for me, gave me directions, called taxis (at normal rates), and were available without wait.

Good location, 5 minute walk to downtown.

This hotel room I was in utilized a double keyed lock, so once you key your lock shut, you need the key to unlock your way out. So if you lock yourself in for the night, and put the key in your coat pocket, remember that. Keeps you from getting locked out of your room, may keep your kids from wandering (if you hold the key secure) But in my opinion, bit of a fire hazard should the unthinkable happen or you need an emergency exit and that key isnt readily accessable.

Gets the job done

1. Is the hotel dated and in need of a serious facelift? Yes. 2. Is the hotel perfectly fine for a traveler like me intent on exploring the city and simply in need of a place to store his things and sleep overnight? Yes. 3. Is the shared bathroom okay? Of course, perfectly clean, there's always a cleaning lady out and about tidying up. :-) 4. Is it a good overall price for what you get? Relatively speaking, yes. 5. Is it a stone's throw from the old city quarter? Yes ... but then again, Toruń is quite small, so EVERYTHING is a stone's throw away from each other. 6. Should you ask for a room not facing the street? Recommended. It doesn't get loud, but in this country, everything gets so echo-y because all the building are made of stone and concrete. 7. Is it worth paying the little extra for the breakfast buffet? YES - they offer SO much food... granted, you're in the basement with bad Polish soap operas playing on the staticky tube TV mounted on the wall, but the breakfast itself is like a feast for a king (mayonnaise lovers, you'll be in heaven). 8. Am I satisfied with my decision to stay at Kopernik? Oh believe me, the hotel stay ITSELF is an experience ....

Simple but perfectly good hotel

Despite my arriving a couple hours before my allotted check in time, the hotel were more than happy to give me my room key, so that I could drop my things off in my room before I arrived. I speak Polish, but my colleague doesn't and the staff were very capable in English. The location was perfect, less than 5 minutes walk from the new square - as such one of the best located hotels in Torun. While it's not the sort of place you would want to go for a romantic break, as a business hotel or a place to stay with a friend, I couldn't ask for much more. The shower was also excellent.

Comfortable and affordable

We just needed a simple place to stay and this suited our needs perfectly. Staff was friendly. The breakfast was nothing exceptional and barely palatable but the rooms were tidy and comfortable with modern bathrooms. The hotel is situated right on the edge of the medieval centre of Torun, so 2 minute walk to the town square and all of the shopping, bars, restaurants and sight seeing.

Worse than a Motel 6.

The room was filthy and the entire hotel (inluding our linens) smelled like smoke. We checked in, showered after a long trip (bad idea - disgusting shower and the door fell off) and checked out. Everything was run down and unclean. Total stay in hotel - approximately 25 minutes.

We booked for new years eve a few hours before arrival. Good hotel, looks like an apartment block from the outside. Excellent location, on edge of old town centre. Car park a few pounds extra. Spacious room with flat screen tv, bathroom clean and up to date. Reception staff friendly. Bar was closed but no surprise given it was NYE. Would stay again.

Both twin beds very squeeky & noisy.
Both blinds in bedroom on the floor instead of on windows!!!
Lounge area only had 3 uncomfortable upright chairs to relax on.

As I only stayed for 1 night it was \"acceptable\".
However, I would not be happy to stay for a longer holiday!

Firstly, the location of Otel is awesome. You can walk to center in 6mn. The receptionist warmly welcome us and then gave all details about room and breakfast. We find our room. There was an renovation in otel this is a bit loud during day. Secondly, room was nearly clear and comfy. The wallboards were old and TV was not connect to the internet. The bed was 2 person but it consists of two single beds joined together. It was really uncomfortable and annoying because we have to fix every hour. Toilet and Jaccuzi was clean and perfect. Breakfast was open buffet and good. All kind of local tastes and general dishes was there. Finally, all employees were kind and smiling. I will prefer the same Hotel again if I go to Torun.

Pobyt w jeszcze nie wyremontowanej części hotelu. Obsługa w większości miła i pomocna. Śniadania podawane zza lady, ale wybór w stosunku do niewysokiej (25zł) całkiem dobry.
Położenie 5 minut spacerem od serca starówki.
Ogólnie pewnie tam wrócę bo jakość do ceny jest OK.
W pokoju jest czajnik, ale nic do niego tzn ani odpowiedniej szklanki czy łyżeczki ani herbaty czy cukru.

Bardzo blisko na Starówkę ogólnie dobrze usytuowany i wszędzie można dotrzeć nawet pieszo. Pokoje w miarę czyste niezbyt przemyślane umeblowanie zwłaszcza stolik pod telewizor bo zbyt niski. Bardzo przyjazny i uprzejmy personel. Śniadania smaczne i różnorodne.

Hotellet var fint, og service var helt i top, men på luxus værelse var WiFi dårlig og der var fuglelort over alt på væggene og i gardiner. Hotellet ligger tæt på den gamle bydel og alt er nemt at finde

Guter und professioneller Service. Kostenloses kaltes Wasser. Ein Wasserkocher und ein Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Großer Unterschied in den Standards zwischen dem wirtschaftlichen Raum (alte und abgenutzte Möbel) und normal. In der Nähe der Altstadt. Günstiges Parken. Extrem günstiges Zimmer.

Очень здорово за адекватные деньги.

Очень неплохо. Бронировали самый дешевый номер, без душа. В целом, все как ожидалось. Чисто, удобные кровати, чистое белье и полотенце. В номере был унитаз и умывальник. Душ - на этаже, там тоже чисто и нормально. Всегда была горячая вода.
Отличное расположение. До ЖД станкции 5 мин пешком, до старого города тоже 5-7 мин пешком, до набережной тоже 5 мин пешком.
Неплохой завтрак за 18 злотых/человека. Доступен с 7 до 10 утра.
Отель рекомендую. Очень здорово за адекватные деньги.

托倫是個小鎮，所以住宿選擇不多
此飯店離老城區有段距離，走路大概10分鐘
飯店很老舊，但員工很親切
因為是傳統飯店，所以房間沒有廚房
飯店本身也沒有提供廚房供使用
鎮上的pizza和pasta都很不錯吃

Wszystko ok.Jednak przy rezerwacji pokoju trzeba upewnić się telefonicznie co do pokoju jaki klient otrzyma. Wg zdjęcia mojego pokoju była w nim umywalka z ubikacją Wg informacji - także prysznic. Tymczasem jedno i drugie były do wspólnego korzystania przez całe I piętro na korytarzu. Na jedną noc - nie było się o co zżymać Reszta ok, - czysto i wygodnie. Bez zapachów. Polecam.
