Was on our Honeymoon trip! Most of the experience was great, with the majority of the staff being professionally friendly, rooms were a bit old, but toilets seemed quite new and the view from the rooms of the sunset is definitely worth the stay! It IS a casino hotel though, so just consider that.

One thing that spoilt the otherwise excellent rating for us though is that after check out I went to pick up the car from the street below (parking at the hotel is 14euros, street parking is free), and during that time under the guise of helping my wife with her luggage, on the the older bellhops took the chance to “hold” my wife’s hand for a moment too long and gave her a smirk. Needless to say it was extremely discomforting for her and being quite shocked she didn’t know how to raise it up till we had left, but it for a hotel that calls itself “5-star” it was really such an appalling experience. Of all the places that a woman can get harassed at you would think a hotel and by a hotel staff would be the last.

It definitely spoilt a huge part of the experience of being in Piran and a huge huge disappointment. Left an incredibly sour taste in our mouths as we left Slovenia.

Nearly perfect hotel ... very clean ... incredible breakfast .... lovely staff .... but we had to sleep with the patio door open (no screen) because of the stifling heat. Apparently, the air conditioning is not used until June.

To begin with this hotel has outdated rooms, not better than simple 3 stars hotel. Yes I know their pictures look nice, but remember about Photoshop. The hotel claims that SPA available for the guests....sure just use a sauna cost 35+ euro per person for 1.5 hours. Towels is another story: they are not going to give you any unless you go back to the main hotels desk (!) and leave 20 euro per towel deposit. Just awesome idea, right?! Don't expect to be notified about it during you check in process, as well as about any costs for sauna for the guests. About the food: dinner and breakfast can be included in your stay, but the quality for both are bad. At first it looks like they have a big choice, but you are lucky to find one or two fresh and not overcooked dishes. At the breakfast were served some leftovers from last night dinner. Slovenia in general is very good in food quality, so stay away from this restaurant and hotel.

Poor Management; Poor Customer Service, Not Good!

Their housekeeper violated my privacy by ignoring my DoNotDisturb sign when I went to breakfast and then lying about it saying the sign wasn't there. Since I checked the sign when I left the room, I know it was. When I want housekeeping I shut down my electronics and clear the bed. I did not do this because I didn't want housekeeping. The hotel ignored my complaint, and did nothing whatsover to make up for her action. This lack of response from management, even after the reception staff acknowledged that they realized she had lied, makes this hotel a not safe place to go. Who knows what other unsavoury things might be going on with managements sanction.

Possiboe Credit Card Fraud alert

Within 48 hours of paying my bill, my credit card information was compromised and a fraudualant charge was made for electronics in Dubai. This particular credit card was used exclusively to pay hotel bills. I presented the credit card to only one person at this hotel, and the same at two other hotels. My information was stolen from one of the three hotels.
MY card was cancelled, creating some complications. Otherwise, we enjoyed our time at Remisens Premium Hotel Metropol.

Overall it is a good hotel.

Nice hotel. Good breakfast. The rooms are large & comfortable. Didn't have time to use the pool but it was pretty large & looked quite decent. It was a very lean period when we stayed here & most of the rooms were unoccupied. Almost everything was fine except for two minor flaws. The lifts are very small & the air conditioning is not very effective. Guests could face a problem during the peak season & during the summers.

Das Hotel liegt auf einer Anhöhe, somit hat man einen tollen Ausblick auf die Bucht und das Meer. Das Hotel ist vom Stil her nicht super modern, aber trotzdem sehr schön. Das Zimmer war groß, sauber und das Badezimmer nagelneu. Die Minibar war inkludiert und wir haben sogar kostenlos ein Zimmer-Upgrade bekommen. Die Parkgarage war ebenfalls kostenlos inkludiert. Von der Restaurantterrasse sieht man aufs Meer hinunter, auch die Bar auf der Terrasse ist nett.
Auch der Wellnessbereich sieht supertop aus und ist sehr gepflegt.

Alles in Allem ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Angebot!!!!

Gute Lage, sehr schöne große Balkone mit tollem Meerblick. Sehr saubere Zimmer mit freundlichen Service beim Frühstück und im Zimmerservice. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und die Frühstücksterrasse mit Blick kaum zu toppen. Die Infrastruktur für Fahrradfahrer ist allerdings verbesserungswürdig, da im „Fahrradkäfig“ (noch) keine Steckdose zum Laden vorhanden ist und es nur einen Schlüssel zum kurzen Ausleihen gibt.

Preis/ Leistung ist sehr gut, Zimmer sind etwas älter aber dennoch schön. Es gibt eine Garage aber die kostet 14 Euro am Tag. Wir hatten ein Economy Doppelzimmer es wär sehr klein aber mit einer tollen Aussicht aufs Meer. Während unserem Aufenthalt wurde nur das Bett gemacht, die Böden und das Bad wurden nicht gewischt.

Das Remisens Hotel Metropol kann durch ein stilvolles Ambiente, guten Service und extreme Sauberkeit überzeugen. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück und Abendessen in Buffetform ist immens, Sonderwünsche werden gerne erfüllt. Die Zimmer sind zeitlos schick eingerichtet, die Balkone sind riesig und bieten viel Platz und Lust zum Verweilen. Von jedem Balkon hat man eine wunderbare Sicht. Auch der Blick ins Hinterland ist lohnenswert. Zweifelsohne ist auch die vorhandene Parkgarage unter dem Hotel sinnvoll, besonders zu Zeiten der Hauptsaison. Bei Rückfragen oder Problemen kann man sich quasi rund um die Uhr an die Rezeption wenden, alles wird sofort beantwortet und gelöst, was heutzutage nicht mehr üblich ist. Mitarbeiterin des Monats sollte Nika werden, die hier besonders hervorgestochen ist. Alles in allem ein wunderbares Hotel, das Ruhe, Erholung und guten Service bietet.

Leider kann ich die schlechten Bewertungen zu diesem Hotel nur bestätigen. Wo soll ich anfangen?
Sowohl Indoor-als auch Outdoor-Pool sind gesperrt. Das Pool am Strand befindet sich auf der anderen Straßenseite und wird mit drei anderen Hotels geteilt, daher bekommt man keinen Platz mehr, wenn man später kommt. Die Poolbar gibt es nicht.
Unser Zimmer wurde nicht gereinigt. Müll hatte sich schon gestapelt. Wir hatten ein Doppelbett mit einem Schlafsofa gebucht. Das Sofa war nicht vorbereitet, es gab nicht einmal Polster und Decke. Selbst nach Urgenz wurde kein Polster und keine Decke gebracht.
Der Parkplatz ist 5 Gehminuten vom Hotel entfernt und kostet 14 Euro pro Tag. Obendrein ist das Parkhaus maßlos überfüllt und nur nach mehrmaligem Kreisen findet man einen Parkplatz.
Beim Frühstück hat absolut niemand nach unserer Zimmernummer gefragt. Das Essen war wirklich sehr schlecht. Das viel zitierte Zuckerwasser ist leider die Wahrheit. Von Corona Regeln übrigens gar keine Spur. Kaffeetassen waren verdreckt, Mitarbeiter trugen keine Masken, etc.
Als I-Tüpfelchen hat man von Seiten des Hotels absolut keine Fehler eingesehen und auch am Preis nicht nachgelassen, als man auf die Mängel angesprochen wurde.
Positiv kann man die Lage und die großen Zimmer bewerten.
Alles in allem nie und nimmer ein 5 Sterne Hotel. Bestenfalls 3 Sterne.

Diese Unterkunft war eine grosse Entauschung. Wir warten 2,5 Stunden für die CheckInn, danach wir haben ein solches Zimmer bekommen, wo jemand schon war in (das Zimmer war nicht frei). Wenn wir endlich unseres Zimmer bekommen haben, das Badezimmer war total schmutzig, ich sollte es sauber machen (das Toalette war seht schmutzig, und das Bad, Waschbecken und Fussboden auch), die Zimmerfrau kommt nicht jeden Tag, nur dann, wenn wir es gefragt haben. Die Frühstück war total entsetzlich (mirelite croassant, keine Gemüse, nur ein bisschen Obst, trocken Rührei, etw.), so wir hatten eine menge extra Kosten (weil wir müssten an einem anderen Platz Frühstück bezahlen). Bei dem Schwimmbad waren nicht genug Betten und Schirmen, so diese Unterkunft sicher nicht eingó 5* Unterkunft, aber der Preis war sehr hoch, sehr tauer, wie in einer 5* Unterkunft. Wir waren sehr-sehr unzufrieden.

Schimpft sich ein 5 Sterne Hotel. Anlage in katastrophalem Zustand. Beim Pool haußtsächlich kaputte Schirme, die versprochene Poolbar geschlossen, da nicht ausreichend Personal. Dies trifft auch auf das Hotel zu. Ehrlich gesagt kann ich nicht verstehen warum dieses Hotel als 5 Sterne Hotel aufscheint. Maximal 3 Sterne (wenn überhaupt)

Le camere e la struttura dell'hotel erano belle e in buone condizioni, ottima anche la pulizia. Il persone è stato gentile e disponibile, ottima la vicinanza al casinò.
Io e la mia famiglia abbiamo soggiornato nell'hotel durante il periodo invernale, eravamo, quindi, in cerca di una struttura con piscina e spa, ma in questo caso è stata un'esperienza deludente. Le strutture ci sarebbero il problema è che non sono curate e sono state lasciate andare. Di tre vasche per idromassaggio ne funzionavano due e male, mentre la spa era a pagamento e anch'essa in cattive condizioni. Il mangiare non era pessimo, ma neanche buonissimo, a mio parere anche a causa del nostro periodo di soggiorno (a ridosso della chiusura per ferie dell'hotel). Non è stato un brutto soggiorno, ma sicuramente le 5 stelle non le dimostra e il prossimo anno la possibilità di soggiornare nuovamente qui verrà scartata a priori.

Dopo molti anni di soggiorni Portoroz resta sempre una sicurezza!! Stanza di 60 mq con vista mare. Colazione e cena un tantino sotto gli standard del posto ma sempre a livelli eccellenti se considerato il rapporto qualità/ prezzo. L'acqua della piscina principale leggermente più fredda rispetto agli anni passati. Buona anche l'affluenza al magnifico Gran Casinò collegato alla struttura.

Einziger Kritikpunkt: Eine Wärmepumpe (Klimaanlage) in unmittelbarer Nähr des Zimmers angebracht entwickelt einen Lärmpegel zur unzumutbar ist (trotz geschossenem Fenster).
In der Zeit, wo wir da waren, hätte man infolge der niedrigen Temperaturen auch bei offenem Fenster schlafen können, doch der Lärmpegel ist unerträglich.
Würde vorschlagen, da mal eine Lärmmessung vorzunehmen.

Un joli emplacement, mais pas digne d'un 5 étoiles

Bonne situation de l'hôtel avec jolie vue.
Contrairement à ce que laisse penser les photos, laa grande piscine ne fait pas vraiment partie de l'hôtel, vous devez traverser la route pour l'atteindre et n'a pas d'accès direct à la mer. Elle est ouverte à tout le monde et ferme à 18h, le personnel vous fait comprendre 10 min avant que vous devez partir et vous avez le droit au cours de gymnastique pendant 45 minutes avec musique à fond, alors que vous vouliez vous poser tranquillement. Digne du Club Med, mais pas d'un 5 étoiles.
Le restaurant ressemble à une cantine, les chariots de vaisselle vous passent à côté à grand bruit.
Le choix du buffet de nourriture proposée est assez grand, mais ne se renouvelle que peu de soir en soir. C'est souvent très sec et la température limite. Nous attendions un autre niveau pour un établissement de ce niveau.
Nous avions 2 vélos de course avec! nous avons du les entreposer dans un local fermé à clé mais à ciel ouvert et difficile d'accès

Zeer ruime, chique kamers met ieder een groot balkon. Mooie nieuwe badkamer. Er zijn veel tv zenders beschikbaar. Helaas geen waterkoker op de kamers aanwezig.
Goed uitgebreid ontbijt. De kwaliteit van het dinner buffet laat echter te wensen over. De restjes van de vorige dag worden verwerkt in de maaltijden. Fruit wordt ingevroren en weer opnieuw opgediend. Vlees en aardappels zijn erg droog.
Er kan gratis gebruik worden gemaakt van het zeer mooie nieuwe buitenzwembad. Dit ligt echter aan de andere kant van de weg. Sauna etc is met meerprijs.
Parkeren kost €14,- per dag.

Sehr Zentral - Gute Lage . Waren mit dem Hotel zufrieden. Die Garage ist etwas Teuer . Tag 14 € für Hotel Gäste . Leider war das Neue Swimmingpool wie Samstag 15 Juni versprochen nicht Eröffnet . Das dauert sicher noch 1 Monat . Vielleicht nächstes mal ?? Wir kommen wieder.

Super Hotel!

Das Hotel war super, vor allem das Frühstück hat überzeugt. Von Gemüse bis Obst und Süßspeisen gab es einfach alles. Schade nur dass der Innenpool schon um 19.00 Uhr schließt.

Et dejligt hotel, men er lidt ærgelig over,at jeg booker 2 værelser ca 5 mdr, før besøg men at værelserne ligger på 2 forskellige etager, tænker det må være muligt at få 2 værelser ved siden af elller i nærheden af hinanden, når der bookes i så god tid.

Komfortabel in Strandnähe

alle Mitarbeiter (Check In, Rezeption, Restaurant, Housekeeping), mit denen wir Kontakt hatten, sind freundlich und zugewandt. Unser Eindruck:
alle arbeiten am Anschlag und sind bemüht, Hintergrundmängel (Technik, Organisation, Training und Unterweisung) zu kompensieren.
Von zwei Fahrstühlen (ca. 250 Zimmer) war einer min. 4 Tage defekt.
Chronischer Engpass - kein Kaffee(!) und 3 Automaten zusätzlich deswegen völlig überlastet - an der Kaffeestation zwischen neun und zehn Uhr. Frühstück 06.30-11.00Uhr.
TV-Angebot: jede Menge deutschsprachiger \"Trash\", nur drei ö-r Sender (ZDF, ORF1+2),
leider kein Hörfunkangebot (DLF, ARD-Stationen)

Очень хороший отель, удобное расположение два своих бесплатных бассейна. Хороший завтрак ( шведский стол) . Нам с женой очень нравится там отдыхать. Мы уже второй раз останавливаемся в этом отеле.

camere grandi e confortevoli
purtroppo a me e' toccata quella con affaccio sul retro e con i motori dei condizionatori davanti alla finestra
piscina ottima per relax lontano dalla confusione
colazione e cena a buffet molto varia, anche se la mattina mancano un po di dolci
nel complesso molto valido
consiglio i piani alti!

Hotel in guter Lage

Das Hotel befindet sich in guter Lage von Portoroz. Leider muss man wissen, dass zu den hohen Hotelkosten z.B. Parken,Sauna und Liegen am Strand nicht inkludiert sind. Sollte in einem Hotel dieser Preisklasse aber so sein. Das Essen wird in Buffetform angeboten, daher immer sehr unruhig bei den Mahlzeiten. Das Servicepersonal ist nicht immer sehr motiviert.

Schönes, in die Jahre gekommenes 5* Hotel, das Personal war mit einer Ausnahme wirklich top!
Die Lage sehr gut, allerdings bietet Portoroz nicht sonderlich viel in unseren Augen, dann lieber nach Piran!

L'hotel già lo conoscevo ed è indubbiamente di ottimo livello. Ottima anche la colazione ricca ed abbondante nella scelta. Peccato che anche qui siano arrivate le macchinette per caffe/cappuccino etc. Unica nota stonata un caldo torrido in stanza con l'aria condizionata ancora non attiva...per ovviare ho dovuto dormire con la finestra aperta. Se si ha la fortuna di avere la stanza vista mare la vista è davvero molto bella.

Sehr zentral gelegenes hotel mit tollen ausblick.

Sehr angenehmes Klima im hotel. Ausgezeichnetes essen. Sehr grosse zimmer.
Schwimmbad müsste innen etwas renoviert werden.

Hotel 5 stelle che non consiglierei

L\"hotel è un po' datato ma cmq bello. È abbastanza pulito e offre una buona prima colazione, anche se da un 5 stelle ci si può aspettare di più. Valuto una stella per due motivi. Quando siamo arrivati (da un tour di 8 gg in croazia), essendo tutti vestiti molto sportivi ci hanno chiesto se eravamo nell'hotel giusto...non un buon benvenuto. Poi una ragazza che viaggiava insieme a me e mia moglie si è vista entrare la signora delle pulizie alle 8,15 in camera mentre dormiva. Ovviamente si è spaventata moltissimo. Poi siamo scesi a fare colazione e dopo, rientrando in camera, la solita ragazza ha trovato la stanza aperta con tutta la roba e la signora delle pulizie dentro che aveva iniziato a sistemare. Ovviamente sono andato a chiedere spiegazioni in reception è mi è stato risposto che è normale che dalle 8.00 le signore delle pulizie controllino quale stanze possono riassettare, che funziona così in tutti gli hotel. Non sapevo se ridere o arrabbiarmi davvero. Neanche una parola di scuse. Fare uno sbaglio va bene, rifarlo nella stessa mattina e non chiedere neanche scusa no.

Superbe!

Chambres très spacieuses, la literie parfaite, la salle de bain énorme! Peignoirs, pantouflettes, produits de toilette. Tout très bien. La clim pourrait fonctinner un pleus mieux, car avec les 34 degrés à l'extérieur, il faisait vraiment très chaud même dans la chambre.
Et la piscine intérieure géante et à l'eau salée.TOP! Très propre.
Le personnel gentil et serviable. Le petit-déjeuner impeccable
En un mot: à recommander!

Nice staying in Portorose

Even if the hotel cannot be considered a true 5 stars, it is very good and all the people working inside it are very kind and cooperative. Rooms are clean and quite large, well equipped and confortable. Breakfast has a large choice, products of ggod quality and it is great to eat outside on the terrace. The large parking area down the hotel pays back the required 14 euro for each day of staying.
