When I arrived, I was advised there was no parking in the area and I had to search for places to receive me. I parked by the Piran Walls and walked 35 minutes to the property. Azra was very friendly and assisted my check-in. My room was not clean when I walked in, and was assigned another afterwards. I was told I’d receive a breakfast box since I was departing very early in the AM, but did not receive it. It was a good stay overall, but the staff need to assist more before sending customers away on their own in a foreign city.

Beautiful hotel, all rooms are facing the coast.
Swimming pool with warm sea water is excellent.
Parking is little bit outside of the hotel and might not have enough space.
Walking distance to both Portoroz and Piran.

The only complaint is no air conditioning in October. It is still warm during the day. Open windows work at night.

The location and the view from the hotel were great. Parking was super convenient! The dining option at the hotel was limited and rather ordinary. The AC in the room was broken it stayed at a constant 25°. The pool area was OK, it was a bit annoying that you had to leave the hotel to get there. Overall not awful but not stupendous.

Lovely hotel in a complex with 2 others who share an excellent indoor pool facility and a good outdoor space with a pool, splash park and sun loungers with access to the sea. Breakfast was busy but very good, we ate at the restaurant once which was very nice. Room was nice and very modern, comfortable bed and good shower. Wi-Fi very good. Very strict on checking in at 3 but you can leave luggage. Had to pay for loungers and parasol (23EUR per day for 2 beds and a parasol on the beach (cheaper in the pool area but limited numbers in there). Tricky with a pram re stairs as our floor didn’t have access from the lift so we had to lift the pram up them (wouldn’t work with a wheelchair). Great location for walking to either Piran or Portoroz (20 mins) both of which offer lots of places to eat and bars and just nice to walk around. The complex area itself is great as it has a few places to eat, a shop and some tourist type shops. We were really happy and would happily stay here again.

There's nothing in the room, no bottle water, no water heater/boiler, no teabag, no coffee machine, nothing! I booked the sea view room, gorgeous view, with balcony. But if i want to hold a coffee or tea on balcony in the morning while enjoying the beautiful view, no way! What a pity. I called and asked, i am told NOT ALLOWED to make tea or coffee in room, come to the bar instead.

We stayed there for two nights. The experience was great, nice rooms, friendly and helpful staff and they even had a little kids corner in the lobby - perfect for a family trip with a toddler. We will definitely be back.

Nice hotel, good location, amazing Spa for 19,- for 3h use of beautiful saunas and steam room overlooking the sea was definitely my favourite. Piran is a beautiful little old town.
Hotel over all was nice. Breakfast ok. Rooms good size but slightly smelly. Staff very friendly. Over all had a lovely time.

Upon arrival, there was a large crowd due to vouchers and covid-19 confirmations. The rooms are nicely decorated. Beautiful view of the Piran Bay. We booked a double bed, but the beds are on wheels and they are moving all the time, which is very annoying. We had some trouble locking the door. We found out what the problem was and reported it to the reception, but no one responded. The maid left our room unlocked.
The food is average. The dining room is crowded, and some food has run out for more than half an hour before closing. On the day of departure there was a long line of people in front of the reception. People also waited for over an hour.

It was Okie but not as great as we imagined. The room is too small, very very basic, the room does not reflect the pictures advertised, or lower than what 4-star hotel should be provided. Too crowded capacity in the indoor swimming pool. On the good sides, the hotel surroundings are nice and the breakfast is good.

So good we stayed an extra 2 nights!

Great hotel in a great location. Only 20 minutes flat stroll along the coast to Piran and Portoroz but there are also some shops, bars and restaurants on or close to site too. Plenty of access to the sea at the hotel and also nearby so we ended up not even being in the pool.

Breakfast was great, and the staff did really well making a buffet style work with current Covid-19 restrictions in place. Communal areas were spotless and rooms were cleaned daily, with a deep clean prior to changeover. Everything seemed to have been recently renovated and felt brand new.

The location of the hotel is excellent. it is about 15 minutes walk to PIran in one direction and Portoroz in the other. There are plenty of facilities within the resort such as a supermarket, shops, bars and restaurants. Food and service is very good. The hotel has several outdoor and indoor swimming pools as well as access to the sea for swimming. there were aqua aerobic classes twice a day, free of charge. All the pools are salt water.

Superb location. Local are packed with dozens of cafes and restaurants and the scenic village of Piran is a 20 minute walk along the coast. The hotel evening meals were very good and the breakfasts more than adequate if not that exciting. The room wifi could be (a lot) stronger, but our room was a fair hike from the centre of the hotel. Room safe will not hold a laptop. Excellent location for cycling and scootering along the seafront. Beer prices (always essential information) reasonable at around 3-3.5 euros for 0.5 l.

Pretty good... but no water with meals for kids

The hotel interior was a bit tired but overall it was acceptable for price. 90% of the staff were friendly and helpful and the others were not rude but possibly just lacking social graces.

My main gripe was that during meal times our 7 year old was told he was not allowed to drink from his bottle of tap water. I understand that drinks were not included with the half board rate but would have expected tap water to be available for those guests who had chosen that option to save money at meal times. At the very least allowing children to drink their own tap water seems like a harmless concession?
Also... where was the butter for the bread provided with dinner??

On the plus side - the pools were really good fun for the kids and the rooms were nice and quiet. So overall a mixed bag that could have easily been made good with a few tweaks.

Location to Old City

The location is good to the old city but the area l would stay in next time would be the port area.
The deck staff are very good.
The rooms are in need for a renovation. The free car parking area is a night mare just not big enough. If you would like to the gym, you get sent to the hotel next day to use the gym and it opens at 9.00 am. The breakfast was good.
You can not drop of your luggage at the door.

Beautiful seaside view - comfy but a bit dated

Very convenient to Piran with free shuttle buses. Great buffet dinner at hotel restaurant. Comfy room but bath/shower was not good (no real shower door and couldn't hang shower nozzle anywhere to take a normal shower. This was annoying in a stated 4-star hotel. Without a full shower/bath door, it was unfortunately easy to spray water all over the bathroom.

great indoor swimming area as well as beach area. half board was a good value for us. hotel staff very helpful. location midway between piran and portorosc but served by little train on wheels between the two cities running about each hour. wish we would have known that in advance to save taxi fare. connections to go to lubljiana are convenient by public transportation but be warned they are very limited to go to trieste and venice.

Toller Wasserpark, super Aussicht, die Lage zwischen Portoroz und Piran ist klasse! Für Familien mit Kinder ideal. Das meiste Personal ist freundlich und auf zack. Die Rezeption könnte einem mehr Informationen beim Check-in geben. In der Lobby fehlt Musik und im Poolbereich sowie im Speisesaal könnte mehr für den Schallschutz getan werden. Das Essen ist sowohl beim Frühstück als auch beim Abendessen sehr vielfältig und lecker. Die Standarddoppelzimmer sind sehr modern und schön, sowie sauber und gepflegt, jedoch etwas klein. Es gibt genügend Shopping Möglichkeiten und gute Restaurants in der Nähe. Allerdings wäre es schön, wenn ab und zu im Hotel Livemusik gespielt werden würde oder zumindest ausgeschrieben wäre, wann und wenn in der direkten Umgebung Musikveranstaltungen sind. Den Wellnessbereich mit den Saunen muss man leider separat bezahlen genau wie die Liegen am Ville Park Strand. Alles in allem kann ich nur sagen uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und trotz kleiner Nachteile werden wir definitiv wieder kommen.

Clean hotel close to the sea with nice view . The hotel is very large with too many rooms , for me it is quantity and not quality.
The room was so small that there was no space for the second languages.
Bathroom with tube which is so small that you cannot stay inside .
Paid 150 Euros for one night . In the evening I went to have a sauna and they asked me for Euro 19,— for 3 hours use , what I refused . Incredible to ask for additional money , sorry .
All this is not what I am used in a 4 star hotel.
For me the only nice thing was the balcony to the seaside.

Für einen Kurzurlaub perfekt. Leider ist gegenüber gerade eine große Baustelle. Waren schon öfters in diesem Hotel. Diesmal hatten wir jedoch Pech mit dem Zimmer. Haben gefühlt das kleinste bekommen ( Eckzimmer) Allerdings normales DZ gebucht. Kein Bestprice oder dergleichen. Balkon sehr winzig und Bäume vorm Balkon, also auch kein Hafenblick. Der Rest , Essen usw. War sehr gut, vor allem die Lage zwischen Piran und Portoroz top

Minden nagyon jó volt, a szoba kilátással az öbölre, a berendezés, az külön tetszett, hogy fa padló van a szobákban, gondolva az allergiásokra is. A reggeli kiváló, bőséges választékkal. A személyzettel is meg voltunk elégedve minden területen. A wellness élménymedencéje kicsit kicsi. Egyetlen negatív van csak, hogy nem dohányzó szobát kértünk, de itt a balkonon lehet dohányozni, ezzel sok bosszúságot okoztak nekünk, mikor a finom tengeri levegőt szerettük volna élvezni.

An sich eine schön renovierte Unterkunft, mit jedoch ein paar Schwächen. Zum einen sind manche Räume extrem weit weg von der Rezeption/Essensräume. Zum anderen war das Essen eher durchschnittlich. Es wurde zwar viel Wert auf ein großes Angebot gelegt, jedoch war es mehr Quantität, als Qualität. Hing aber durchaus vom Tag ab, mal war es besser, mal mit mehr Verbesserungspotential. Ist denke ich Geschmackssache.
Positiv lässt sich der Service und der Wellness Bereich hervorheben. Da gab es wirklich nichts auszusetzen. Auch der tägliche Reinigungsservice war top.

Mit was die Unterkunft aber am meisten punktet ist die Lage. Wunderschön am Meer gelegen und alles zu Fuß erreichbar, was man braucht.

Eine perfekte Urlaubswoche am Meer! Hotel ist sehr schön, liegt direkt am Meer - Ausblick vom Zimmer direkt aufs Meer - traumhaft! Der nächste Ort Piran ist ca. 2 km entfernt - wunderschöne Altstadt! Die Zimmer werden gründlich gereinigt, Personal ist sehr freundlich, einzig die Parksituation ist etwas angespannt. Buffet ist reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich.

Fantastisch uitzicht terras zeekant. Vernieuwde kamer, voldoende opbergruimte. Verzorgd en ruim ontbijt. Binnenzwembad voldoende groot en aangenaam.
Minpuntjes: vrij prijzig voor kleine kamer. Afstand lobby/ Resto kamer is ver en maar deels met lift bereikbaar. Personeel aan onthaal is te beperkt en geeft weinig (praktische) uitleg. Parking weinig plaats, kleine parkeerplaatsen.

Très bien décoré, très bien situé en bord de mer, les chambres sont magnifiques. Pour le reste fuyez !

Plus d'une demie heure de queue pour le check in alors qu'on n'est même pas en haute saison, on obtient enfin la clé de la chambre on prend l'ascenseur et arrivés à l'étage correspondant à la chambre on réalise qu'il faut redescendre un demi étage par l'escalier avec les valises, pas le choix même si c'est absurde.

Là, on comprend la queue au check in puisqu'on réalise qu'il n'y a pas moins de 100 chambres par étages et manque de chance on se retrouve tout au bout du couloir donc au moins 5 min de marche pour rejoindre la réception au moindre problème vu qu'ils ne répondent jamais au téléphone. Cerise sur le gâteau, les employés à l'accueil ne sont pas aimables et vraiment pas heureux quand on vient les déranger.

Envieux de s'ouvrir une bouteille de vin en amoureux, on s'est résignés à aller demander un ouvre bouteille à la réception puisque pas de réponse au téléphone, mais ils n'en ont qu'une dans tout l'hôtel donc 5min de marché à nouveau pour aller récupérer la bouteille sans la chambre et la ramener pour qu'ils nous la ouvrent vu que personne ne s'est proposé pour venir nous l'ouvrir dans la chambre.

Au petit-déjeuner ambiance cantine, il y a tellement de monde qu'on se marche dessus et on ne s'entend pas parler.
Plus jamais !

Derzeit nicht empfehlenswert.

Auf allen einschlägigen Portalen sowie auf der hoteleigenen Webseite wird mit einem Kinderpool und Casino im Haus geworben. Beides gibt es -zumindest diese Saison- nicht. Die Zimmer sind neu renoviert und absolut in Ordnung. Die Anlage (Außen, Pool, etc.) selbst ist bereits ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen, die Realität hat mit den Fotos nicht mehr viel zu tun.
Mangelhafte Qualität und Auswahl beim Frühstück. Zudem werden fixe Frühstückszeiten vorgegeben (3 Schichten).
Im Hinblick auf den Preis waren die Erwartungen deutlich höher, diese wurden aber in keinster Weise erfüllt und wir sind früher abgereist. Zumindest derzeit kann ich dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen.

Das Zimmer mit Meerblick war atemberaubend, die Lage des Balkons/Zimmers ruhig und lud zum Entspannen ein. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und das Personal (vom Reueptionisten bis zur Reinigungskraft) sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und gästeorientiert. Halbpension war in Ordnung, morgens war es allerdings im Frühstücksraum überfüllt mit hektischen Gästen, die am Buffet drängelten, wofür das Hotel jetzt nichts unbedingt dafür kann. Die Strandlage war nicht sehr spektakulär was das Baden angeht, aber man konnte ja auch auf andere Strände ausweichen. Bis nach Piran zu Fuß war es ein Katzensprung. Zusammenfassend- das Hotel ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert.

Schon der check-in war komisch. Bei 32 Grad war die Klimaanlage aus und als sich jemand in der Schlange zum 2. Mal verdrängeln wollte und ich ihn darauf hinwies, dass ich warte, wurde ich von der Angestellten zurecht gewiesen: er wolle nur eine Frage stellen...
Zimmer sind neu und ok von der Größe. Das Badezimmer ist schlecht konzipiert, sodass beim Duschen immer das halbe Bad nass wird. Reinigungskräfte putzen ok; viel zu früh (gegen 8 Uhr) und danach gar nicht mehr.
Essen ok.
Kaum einer trug den MNS korrekt, einige trugen gar keinen. Pool proppevoll.
Alles in allem ok. Wir kommen nicht wieder

Wir haben 6 Nächte dort verbracht. Das Meer befindet sich direkt vorm Hotel und ist absolut sauber. Wir waren dort gegen Ende August / Anfang September und da kamen auch schon mal Quallen in den Strandbereich. Keine \"bösen\", aber trotzdem störend. Portoroz und Piraz sind in 2-3 km Nähe und sehr gut über die Uferpromenade zu erreichen. Das Hotel wurde 1974 als Thermenhotel erbaut. Auch wenn das Wetter nicht mal so schön ist, kann man ausgiebig in der Indoor-Pool-Landschaft - alles Salzwasser - entspannen. Also wenn die Ansprüche normal sind, wird man sich hier sehr wohl fühlen. Bemerkung: für ältere und gehbehinderte Leute ist das Hotel nur bedingt geeignet! Die Wege zu den Zimmern sind endlos und der Lift bleibt auch nur im Halbstock stehen. Außerdem gibt es im 2-Bett-Zimmer nur eine Badewanne mit Glasduschwand. Da die Wanne auch noch ein wenig höher eingebaut ist, ist schon ein großer Schritt notwendig, um wieder heraus zu kommen.

Badeurlaub bei Piran

Das Hotel eignet sich sehr gut für Ausflüge nach Piran. Der Hotelstrand hat uns nicht so gut gefallen, dafür wird man aber in Piran mit schönen, öffentlich zugänglichen und sauberen Stränden belohnt.
Das Frühstücksbüffet ist gut und abwechslungsreich, nur der Kaffee war für uns verwöhnte Österreicher nicht so schmackhaft. Dafür schmeckt der Kaffee in den Strandbars umso besser.
Das Hotel ist sauber, das Zimmerservice ist gut, das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Die Ausstattung ist schon ein bisschen abgewohnt.
Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist aber ok.

Urlaub direkt am Meer

Hotel ist schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen....Frühstück könnte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein, variieren....Abendessen sehr gut ...Personal im ganzen Haus und Check in sehr nett und zuvorkommend.....Fernseher ist schon sehr veraltet....trotzdem es hat uns gut gefallen.....überhaupt die Nähe zum Meer und der Meerblick!
