Agave hotel surrounding very nice but is located on freeway and there is no transportation but by taxi or rental car. Hotel poorly managed does not offer except one shuttle a day at 11:00am that drops off with no return to hotel. Pick up at 6:00pm. Also no food delivery allowed like you’re locked in hotel and stuck with their meals. Breakfast is basic for 2 stars hotel.
Staff very nice (Alex at breakfast time helped in satisfying guests requests like adding more fruits). Simona at reception was very helpful in answering any questions or concerns. They did have a birthday party on 6/21/2024 that was noisy and lasts all night.

We stayed at the Hotel Agave in late April. This was a beautiful hotel, everything was awesome! The staff was amazing, in the morning there are great Italian pastries and a full breakfast with excellent cappucino. The hotel is easily accessible set back from the road so it is quiet at night and in the morning. The rooms are clean and spacious with maybe the most comfortable beds in Europe. The staff was great, patient with my Italian and so kind. There is a red clay tennis court and picturesque pathways around the hotel where we took evening walks. Stop in the Q8 for a great pannini or pasta of the day. Safe gated parking and a gas station at the bottom of the hill. We had an amazing time, and will be back-- most highly recommended!

Surprising comfort + full satisfaction

The hotel seems terribly positioned, but just the opposite is true. Hidden in green, isolated from the highway by sufficient distance and green barriers, we enjoyed our stay there in full.
The staff is very friendly and supportive, the hotel design is picturesque (Mexican style), and it was refreshing and pleasant.
I doubt 4 stars are adequate, but who knows what the measures are. Everyday cleaning, fresh towels, cozy restaurant, sports facilities, plenty of space in closed private parking.
Just the shower is very small and would deserve reconstruction (rusty stains). But still perfectly clean.

The rooms are sizeable, comfortable, and clean. The property is located behind a gas station right off a highway and behind access-controlled gates: this made it very convenient to fill up the gas tank for a rental car before any heading out. Despite the property being somewhat close to a highway (behind the gas station), the noise levels were NOT noticeable from the room. The property is surrounded by a hill on three sides covered in greenery, so it gives you the sensation of some seclusion despite the proximity to the highway. The on-site restaurant serves decent food.

Need to maintain the bathroom. The shower head was really slow with hot water and they need to have a cover on top of the toilets above where water storage was. It was splashing over the place when it needed replace. There was wire electrical exposed. The Amin door to the room was hard to opened. I had to push hard to get in.

I love this little hotel. Nothing too fancy but beautiful every where you look. There were no other Americans besides my little family which is exactly what we were looking for. The wait staff treats us like royalty and seemed to do the same for all other guests. Enzo and his staff worked hard to make sure we always felt at home and \"understood\" which is no easy feat! Food at the restaurant was incredible (Ask for Paolo as your waiter!). When my daughter (7 years old) didn't like her meal choice (the different cheeses were funny to her lol) Paolo made a huge deal out of her happiness and went way out of his way to make sure she was happy. She loved him and the place every time after that. Breakfast buffet was great and cappacinos came out in an instant after requesting 1 or 2 or 3! Spent 1 night in downtown Naples at a \"major \"hotel\". It wasn't close. We came right back and my brother even got a room that night because he loved it so much more than his Naples hotel. I highly, highly recommended this place if you ever find yourself near Naples.

What a gem this could be....

The Agave reminds me of one of those resorts in the Catskills that has seen better days yet still has lots to offer. In particular, the pool and grounds are very lovely as is the restaurant around the pool in the evening. Oddly, the pool is 'closed' at 6pm and despite the resort feel, the hotel does not provide pool towels.
Our group had two rooms both were clean and functional. The bar fridge in ours did not work. In the other room the air conditioning did not work. Despite complaints and visits from Antonio, the parking lot attendant, who only insisted that we were using it wrong, nothing was done to remedy the situation. Promises of fans or relocation to another room failed to materialize.
Finally, the breakfast buffet left a lot to be desired. The choices were narrow (nothing hot) and most of the time several of the stations were empty. Getting a coffee from the staff was far more difficult than it should be.

Peace in Chaotic Naples!!

Quite, peaceful and lovely hotel, perfect for a break to visit Pozzuoli and Campi Flegrei.
Surrounded by trees and flower, slightly difficult to find (don't use iPhone's Maps, it sent me in the middle of nowhere. Use a navsat or Google Maps) but as soon as you find it you'll love the location.

Tremendous value and a great staff

A great hotel and a very friendly staff. Had a wonderful 6-night stay. Enzo at the front desk and Pepe in the restaurant are tremendously helpful and make you feel at home, as does the rest of the staff. The food in the restaurant is fantastic. The rooms are spotless and well kept. The recreational facilities are impressive. The only drawback is that there is nothing within walking distance, but immediate access to the highway makes up for that. Overall -- an excellent choice for anyone looking for value in a hotel in this area -- will definitely be back. Thanks for a very pleasant stay.

Very nice hotel + amenities. Real forno di legno.

First, be sure and get their map for getting there, if by car. It is not tricky, but we lived in the area 30 years ago for 3+ years, and much has changed, so our deadreckoning attempt made it challenging. Best way is to enter the longitude and lattitude coordinates in your GPS, and it will take you right there.
Upon arrival we were pleased that it was so well appointed with BIG pool, large sunning patio, outdoor (covered area, too) restaurant., plus a nice restaurant \"downstairs.\" The wood burning pizza (forno di legno) and excellent menu offerings resulted in our eating most times right there. Cameriere Peitro and others added to our enjoyment. We were especially pleased to find the local Piedirosso from nearby Piscina Mirabilis at $18 was as good as any other, short of some $100+ Tignanello Super Tuscans. They had wi-fi, but for us without a computer or iPad, they also had a computer for use by residents. Among others who enhanced our stay were Pepe, Valeria, Anna, Ida, Enzo, Carmine, and one man who looked a lot like Patrick Stewart of Star Trek fame. The entire staff was involved, almost around the clock, especially supporting special events. Very impressive, indeed. We REALLY enjoyed our return to the Napoli area and the wonderful food that is, in our opinion, even better than the otherwise unsurpassed food elsewhere in Italy.

What a strange place to find this hotel

If you asked me to rate my hotel, I'd have to say that it was clean, with some good facilities and staff who couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast left a little to be desired, but free food is free food at the end of the day. However, what makes this hotel unique, and something that wasn't clear when booking is the nature of its location. After finally finding it, not an easy feat, we discovered that the hotel was located in a service station, on the side of a dual carriageway. It did make access to the hotel very difficult. We were lucky that we were driving, but there's not a bus stop or a way to walk to the hotel and this wasn't made clear in the description. A great stay, if you can get there, and you don't mind a little road noise whilst lying by the pool!!!

Not for a family holiday

We had a nice holiday here but that was mostly because of the lovely weather, a nice pool and our many day trips away from the area. The room was big with a little kitchenette and always clean. Unfortunately we do have some negative comments: The breakfast was very disappointing as there was no fresh bread only the plastic wrapped French toast. It would also have been nice with some cheese and ham. There was only jam and nutella. The coffee was great though. The staff didn't speek English and seemed rude. We got told off for not wearing swimming hats in the pool and our five year old son was told off for jumping into pool even though we were the only ones in there. The WiFi didn't work. We wanted to watch some of the Olympics in the evenings but the tv signal was too weak. The restaurant served nice food but didn't open till around 8.30. The pool area was well maintained but the rest of the hotel grounds seemed sad and forgotten. The hotel is next to a motorway and the area isn't very pleasant. We wouldn't come here again or recommend this place to our friends.

Once I founb the place and got intoi my room there it was the ruled of behavior for the hotel guest, what are we in 1st grade again, what in insult. Then there was the breakfast, what a joke. I am in Italy for 35 days this was hotel nember seven, it was the most expensive hotel I stayed in and it had cheapist breakfast of them all. They did not even stock artificail sweatner for guest that may not be able to have sugar, really in this day abnd age. what would that be a $2.00 investment, then there was the so called WiFi Ha! I keep telling them it was not working, even after commiong to my room and not be able to log on they said there was nothing wrong. I could the modem in the lobby and it was not working but they did not believe me. I check out a day early but while checking out they asked what I used in the mini bar (It was never stocked) the maid try to say it was this lead to another argument. This hotel is a joke the satff does not care about your stay. This place should be about $20.00 a night.

Motorway Service Station Hotel

The hotel would have been OK if we had arrived by car, but as we were travelling without transport it was almost impossible to reach, other than walking up a motorway junction slip road and then 500m along the hard shoulder. Not recommended with Italian driving! The hotel did offer to source a taxi - at Euro 50 for a single trip into Naples and the same for the return.

The Hotel service was random. The room was only serviced once - the day before we were leaving and often the breakfast was served late because the waitress had not arrived on time.

a nice place to relax in and be out in the country like atmosphere for a few days.If one has a car than it is convenient.The pool and the pizza are excellent.the girls and the boys at the reception are helpful but they only speak italian.
the room is clean and has a nice little terrace that gives on the garden in full bloom.
very nice view of the hills although the hotel is located on a highway above a gas station.where there is a small bar and a small shop to buy cigarettes and candies etc.

Although a bit hard to find, once we got to this hotel our stay was absolutely wonderful! Although close to the city and major highways, once we entered the gate we felt like we were in paradise! The hotel is well-kept with a lovely pool and beautiful gardens. The breakfast was tasty and the rooms spacious and convenient.

3 weeks in this hotel!

The restaurant had published hours of operation but the crew did not hold to the published times. They were usually about 30-45 minutes later on opening for both breakfast and dinner. The food was great and service was too, especially Vincent! He really seemed to enjoy his job and it showed. He worked some very long hours yet always had a smile!

The housekeeping crew did an excellent job! They were very thourough and very curtious to my privacy

The pool was always clean and in order. The pool attendant (I didn't get his name) was very nice!

My only complaint was that there were a couple of parties at the pool, during the week, that lasted until midnight-0100. The noise from the DJ was above levels that allowed anyone to get a good night's sleep. This only happened a couple of times tthough.

I will definately return in the fall! And I recommend it to anyone that asks!

Agave Residence Inn near Naples

One of the best finds ever. Hidden behind a rest stop off a major road, it was so surprising to find this lovely, private hotel behind a secured gate. An intercom buzzes you inn and you're greeted by a warm , friendly staff. There are lots of steps, but staff carried our luggage to our room. Beautiful, clean room with a sitting area and kitchen area (which we didn't use)

Francesca, at the desk , was delightful. She spoke English beautifully and was so helpful. Thanks Francesca!

We had dinner at the restaurant. I loved what I ate.
Had fried fresh anchovies and large grilled shrimp. Enzo, our waiter was great.

I was here only one night on my way to Sicily, saw 'Baia and Cumae which are nearby.

I would come back here again. Need a car though.

Malheureusement mon séjour c’est mal passé, l’hôtel est très loin du centre. Avec 2 enfants impossible de sortir. La piscine était bien et le petit déjeuner on a pas trop le choix malheureusement. Les serveurs du restaurant sont très gentil d’ailleurs ils me manquent, la réceptionniste pas très sympa. Hôtel très vieux pour un 4 étoiles désolé

Det ligger som en afkørsel på en motorvej så du kan ikke forlade hotellet uden bil. Og det er langt fra centrum, selvom der står 16 km tager det rigtig 40 min hvis ikke mere at komme til centrum grundet deres vejnet og trafik. Det er et lidt slidt gammelt hotel og maden i restauranten er virkelig dårlig.

Hôtel à rénover rapidement. La chambre est spacieuse tout comme la salle de bain. La douche est minuscule, pas de pression d'eau et évacuation bouchée et sale. Petit déjeuner déplorable pour un 4 étoiles. Le 1er matin, alors que le petit déjeuner commence à 7h00, en arrivant à 8h00, une partie du buffet n'est pas dressé. Il a fallu appeler une personne pour avoir un café et un thé. On l'a dérangé dans sa communication téléphonique et elle nous l'a fait savoir. Elle n'a pas servi les boisons chaudes mais les as plutôt jettees sur la table. Puis de nouveau plus personne dans la salle de service. Donc pas possible de demander autre chose. On a mangé au restaurant. Idem pour le service pas vraiment envie. Par contre la nourriture est bonne mais peu de quantité. La piscine reste l'atout principal de cet hôtel. Par contre il faut se baigner avec un bonnet de bain vendu 2 euros à la réception. L'hôtel est très proche de l'autoroute mais on entend pas grand chose. Un grand parking et un terrain de tennis sont à disposition.

Quiet and pleasant place to stay close to Naples

Very good price, acceptable distance to Naples if you have a car. Free parking, tennis court and a nice pool. The room was very big and clean. We stayed during Xmas period, the room was very warm and clean. The staff are very friendly. With the price we paid I cannot imagine anything better.

Il faut avoir un véhicule car situé sur une bretelle d'autoroute.

Ottima soluzione vicino a Napoli.

Un pò fuori mano, ma comoodamente connesso con la Statale per cui facile da raggiungere. In un ambiente molto confortevole della collina di Pozzuoli, sebbene a monte di un autorimessa, si può godere id un ottimo paesaggio e molta tranquillità. Piscina ben fornita. Colazione nella norma, milgliorabile. Arredamento con stile maioliche, non nuovissimo ma ben tenuto. Non ho testato la cucina ai pasti. Personale reception affidabile e cordiale.

Agave Residence Hotel una struttura bella, silenziosa e con i servizi che si richiede per un soggiorno di breve durata. Iniziamo da quello che tutti i clienti di un hotel si aspettano: la gentilezza. Appena arrivati, la responsabile della reception ci accoglie con un sorriso entusiasmante e così anche le signore addette alle pulizie che stavano finendo il loro turno di lavoro, sinonimo che si lavora in un ambiente senza tensioni e in modo piacevole. Soggiornando per una sola notte cercavamo un albergo 4 stelle con un parcheggio riservato, una reception H24 (saremmo ritornati in albergo in piena notte) e una piscina dove riposarsi dopo il viaggio in macchina. Ebbene tutto questo era presente. La gentilezza dell'addetto alla piscina che su richiesta ha posizionato il lettino proprio nell'ultimo angoletto di sole sul bordo piscina, la pulizia delle aree a prato e del parcheggio, la vasca idromassaggio e il tanto verde presente fa di questa struttura lontana dal caos cittadino un piccolo paradiso. Avevamo richiesto una camera senza molte pretese per 2 adulti e una bambina e cosa ci danno, una camera con balcone, un bagno (pulitissimo), un soggiorno con angolo cottura a scomparsa e con grande sorpresa di mia figlia un soppalco accessibile da una comoda scala con un letto matrimoniale ampio e comodo. Silenzioso durante la notte, buona colazione e la presenza di un distributore di carburante nei pressi, con i prezzi più bassi del circondario che non guasta ci fa dire: ottimo hotel.

Très bon accueil et qualité de l'hotel

Etant pour les fetes de Noël chez un cousin sur Bacoli et par manque de chambres chez eux prendre cette hotel ou c'est la deuxième fois que je viens et toujours un excellent accueil , très grand chambre (ca me changer des Ibis en France) ,parking ,et surtout le restaurant avec Pepe le serveur toujours au petit soins et donc les plats toujours fait maison et des produits locaux et de la mer .

Vi soggiorno ogni volta che resto a Napoli per la sera. Facilmente raggiungibile da Napoli, la posizione sulla tangenziale evita il traffico urbano. La struttura è estremamente curata, il personale gentile, la colazione inappuntabile. Il prezzo già contenuto, ulteriormente scontato da Expedia, favorisce la scelta

Una bellissima scoperta

L'hotel Agave è una bella struttura immersa nel verde sulla statale Domitiana, a pochi minuti da Pozzuoli, Bacoli, Monte di Procida e dalla tangenziale di Napoli, ottima posizione per esplorare la zona. C'è una bellissima piscina attrezzata e con idromassaggio, ed anche il ristorante è davvero buono!

Una piccola oasi su una strada trafficata

Si tratta di una piccola oasi su una strada molto trafficata. Da fuori non si direbbe vista la vicinanza alla strada, ma è super silenziosa. Come si varca la soglia sembra di essere in una piccola riserva naturale con piscina, campi da tennis e tanto verde. Comodissima ubicazione, vicina ai maggiori siti di interesse della zona (Baia, Cuma, laghi etc.). E' tuttavia necessaria l'auto. Andrebbe pero' un po' migliorato il wifi in camera e l'insonorizzazione. Almeno nella camera 202 si sentivano diversi rumori della reception e il wifi non era dei migliori. Personale gentilissimo e colazione/cena ottima.
