I’m still awaiting the email to get my refund because I never stayed there at all . Room smells and the twin size bed in the room was dirty way too low like for a kindergarten. No normal American tourist will stay there

we spent 6 days here reception staff 24 hour very good and helpful
owner was very hands on and although he did not speak English we just about managed daily chats and i learnt a bit more Italian from him
a very Italian holiday area
make sure to have cash for a lot of the local bars and restaurants

Hotel far from Naples Centre

Hardly any staff spoke English and those that did, it was a basic level. Staff not helpful with regards to help with getting around locally and into Naples etc. My children got told off everyday by staff that they were noisy and to stop running around, but then marketed as a family friendly hotel? My children were aged 4, 6, 10. Staff were rude and not welcoming. Do not stay here as you will be very disappointed!

Nice hotel, a bit far away from everything

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Lovely hotel, clean, staff are friendly and helpful. 35 mins away from Naples airport. Good spot if you want to just relax at the beach which is 10 mins away from the hotel. There isn't anything else to do around. Transport links ain't great but you can get a lift from the hotel taxi driver (Giovanni) to the station (which is around 4 km away) for €18 return. You can easily reach Naples etc from that train station. Nearest biggest shopping centre is 15mins away and is€50 return by taxi. Breakfast was average - a lot of cakes, not the biggest selection but decent enough.

Hotel was nice being clean friendly and comfortable however it is in a very run down area. Receptionist Laila was so friendly and helpful. She spoke really good English and was able to give us very helpful information. Giovanni the taxi driver who has a connection with the hotel also was prompt, friendly and spoke extremely good English and was very helpful (in fact saved us lots of money on train fare to Rome).

Ok hotel, with helpful and friendly staff

It’s an ok hotel, good compared to the alternatives in the area. There is not much in the surroundings, and beneficial to have a car. On the positive side the staff is very helpful and friendly. Had dinner at the hotel one of the nights, and that was good. Internet/wifi signal could have been better but worked fine for basic surfing the web and checking e-mail, and it was free.

Naples holiday

We stayed 5 nights the hotel was modern looking building but didn't warrent the 4 stars.
The room didn't get any cooler than 24 Celsius this made it uncomfortable to sleep in , my complaints were met with a rebuff by the hotel manager who seemed to rage at me that it was working ,the air conditioning that it was , was also turned off at reception when we left the room.
In the afternoon when the sun was on our window with the curtains closed our room was 28 Celsius !
The distance from the airport isn't 15 km we contacted the hotel it was a 50€ transfer for the taxi one way we had to pay this as public transport to the hotel would be difficult because of its location.
The area around the hotel was litter strune and limited pavements to walk anywhere so without a car you are like in a cage.
We tried once to get a bus to Naples but it was full of local migrants than live in the area the bus let one person on then shut the door on us every bus we saw looked the same overloaded.
There seems people sleeping rough in the area the smell of urine is around any open area.
The hotel was secure felt safe there all buildings have high fences around them
our room was clean and maid service good.
we eate once in the hotel restaurant a set menu for 15€ although nicely presented the portions were meager so we didn't go back another night breakfast was basic and devoid of any fruit.
I do not mean to be negative in this review but our expectations were not met by our stay here the manager ruled the staff seemed scared of him, he shouldn't of spoke to me in the raised voice to in Italian he didn't speak English there wasn't any air conditioning in the whole hotel! me and my partner can vouch for this but he will say otherwise.
We were charged 5€ each a day to use the small swimming pool it did include 1 drink but this was wasn't in the hotel details we had.

The service provided is not a standard 4 star. There was no wifi signal on the room and the television is really small. The room are large and clean. Italian breakfast is served.

The hotel is a little far from Naples centre but there is an adequate bus and rail service, driving only for the bold. The staff at the hotel were all excellent and could not have been more helpful and friendly. The only complaint we have was the meal that we had was not good, which meant we only ate breakfast at the hotel our evening meal we took elsewhere. If the food was better the place would be ideal.
The hotel itself is clean and tidy including the grounds.
The area around the hotel is a little scruffy looking and has a few characters but never felt threatened. The people in the area we dealt with were always friendly and helpful. Would make an ideal location for a beach holiday without being right on the sea shore. Plenty of places to visit within 30-60 mins travel.

Exceptional Value, poor area though

We want to be near Naples Airport for an early start. However it is 20km/half hour on a motorway which isn't too bad. Very cheap hotel but with all the amenities. The surrounding area isn't very good though. Car parking good off street. Probably manic in high August period.

Good hotel which is well kept. The pool was closed and looked like it has been close for a while. Internet is slow but the dinner menu which is limited but very tasty. Staff are professional and friendly. I would stay there again but would check to see if the pool is open first.

Vey Pleasantly surprised

My wife and I wanted a hotel not too far from Naples airport for one night, with free parking and WiFi at a reasonable price. La Costiera fit the bill in its description. It also lived up to other people's good ratings. It even had a swimming pool which would be a plus for many but not used by us. We didn't expect a breakfast but were impressed by what was provided. We were also very impressed with the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, the quality of accommodation and the good value evening meal we enjoyed with the hotel's associated restaurant. We would definitely, very happily stay here again. The only problem was the lack of directions given by the website and the map that had too little detail (on a mobile phone version anyway).

Aches and rains

First off the hotel was incredibly beautiful compared to some of the neighbouring establishments. The staff although not all speak much english, they know enough to understand most questions and even if they dont they will try their best to help. Its situated only a 5 minute walk from a beautiful beach, local shop (all though no english at all there).
The only issues i have with the hotel was the restaurant isn't exactly amazing for the price you pay, but this wasn't a problem personally as we chose to eat at the pizzeria next door which was incredible value for money. Also the bed was 2 mattresses push up poorly and was really hard resulting in walking around for 2 days trying to find deep heat.
Finally if staying here GET A CAR! the bus into naples is easy enough. M1B to campi flegrei, train or B7 to naples marina or napoli centralè how ever THE BUSES ARE SCARY AND BRUTAL! the large african population and some locals become ancient gladiators in the name of gaining a seat on buses and trains, no regard for children women or the elderly. This option is slightly worse then driving a car with 800 pound excess on the crazy southern italians roads. I just wasnt confident enough to drive amongst them. I'll man up next time to avoid the buses!

Overall, a good hotel, just in a bad location.

Good hotel, however the location is nowhere near Naples - do not book this hotel if you wish to see the sights of Naples as you will be sorely disappointed. It is in a great location for the beach, only 10 minutes away.

In the near vicinity there is pizza restaurant, pub and supermarket. There is nothing else.

One bad point is that opposite the hotel is an area where prostitutes tout for business - not ideal when you have children!!!

Overall, a good hotel, just in a bad location.

Very Nice Hotel but a little remote

This hotel is very good though a little austere. It was a very good standard and its location whilst it is a long way from Naples Centre (30 mins), even Pozzouli (15 mins), it suited out requirements. The rooms were very good with nice bathrooms, good staffing, nice breakfast and off road parking. You must have a car for this hotel though bus stops abound closeby. It is not a flash area so you would need to be in company if going for a walk. There is a good restaurant in house and a nice casual cafe next to it. The swimming pool was not in service sadly. we would use it again

The hotel was very hard to find even for our GPS. It was in a poor area and far from the historic center. The room was adequate but the mattress was poor quality. The pool was small and crowded. It is not a 4 star hotel.

ok to stay over night if you have a car

the staff at the hotel were very friendly and did there best to help all they could especially the chef but most of them did nor understand english there was v little salad or vegables.
the pool was v nice but very little space to sit.
the worst thing about our holiday was the area walking to the beach was very stressful there was rubbish everywhere on the road and any pavement even most stressful was dead animals in the rubbish
the area is very bad and no where to go
i would never go there again

A lovely hotel. The reception lady was from Morocco and the friendliest we met our entier trip through Europe. So helpful in retrieving our lost luggage. The location is quiet but an hours drive through hectic traffic to attractions.

Great hotel and unbeatble price!

The hotel was very inviting from the outset, and the staff very friendly and helpful upon arrival. All reception staff speak very good English. The rooms are large and airy, beds are comfortable and the bathrooms come with a bday and a massive shower. The only criticism would be that I would have liked somewhere a little more comfortable to sit in the room rather than a woodden desk chair (e.g. a sofa) but apart from that I have no complaints. Impeccable upkeap and cleanliness. The pool area is well kept and the sun loungers are very comfortable, not like those cheap plastic ones with the struts I loath that dig into your back. Breakfast offers a wide selection of cereals, crossionts, cakes and meats and plenty of coffee. There was no tea however and I would have liked some toast, but this was no big deal. The only slight downer is the location. The hotel is about 30 minutes drive from Naples and the area around it hasn't got much to offer. Apart from the hotel resturant there was one Pizzeria and bar next door and that was about it. Must also warn that the area is also quite dirty and there is a lot of piled up rubbish along the paths. However it is not so bad as it is within walking distance of the beach (which is lovely) and the hotel offers free shuttle to the station where you can get trains into Naples very cheaply (or for free unless you can actually find the ticket machines which we couldn't!). All in all a pleasent stay and great value for money for 4* quality :).

la Costiera Hotel in Campania, Italy great service

The Costiera Hotel is some way from Naples; it is about 1 1/4 hrs. by bus i was told. I did not go to Naples, but found much of interest in Pozzuoli that was a shorter bus ride from the hotel. The main feature of the hotel was the service of the people. Maximo and Laila were the two who spoke English and were most helpful to us. There is nothing close to the hotel except one ristorante next door. The food in the hotel was great. The breakfast was pretty good if you like hard boiled eggs and rolls. The rate was very attractive too.

Good hotel off the beaten track

A lovely hotel, some 25 mins outside Naples. Not a problem if you make use of the excellent service provided by the hotel's minibus which will drop you or pick you up from Pozzuolli - where the metro starts. From there its 1.10 euro train into Naples. Incidentally Pozzuolli is worth a visit in its own right, with some interesting sights and good restaurants.
One or two good restaurants around, particularly if you exit the hotel and turn left at the traffic lights - about 200m down.
Pool small but others nearby if you need something bigger.
Clean comfortable rooms, complete with fridge and a/c, essential in August.
A good value, well run hotel, away from the busy city but a good base for exploring what the surrounding countryside has to offer.

Good hotel, bad location

The hotel is really beautiful and well kept. However, the location is terrible if you are going on a sightseeing holiday to Naples!! The taxis are very expenive to go from the centre to the hotel (maybe 50-60 euros each way) and there is one bus running which takes around an hour to get the centre. A warning to all holiday-makers-the location is far off in the middle of nowhere!! The people at the hotel are nice and friendly. The 'shuttle' advertised on their website is infact almost non-existant. We asked for it and the manager was less than inclined to offer. Eventually we managed to book the shuttle for a 'day trip' which ended up with the manager driving us in his car to the nearest train station 5 minutes away and find find your way from there! Not impressed! Facilities were very nice though and the restaurant did very nice food although it was extremely expensive. No restaurants around the hotel. Must eat in town before making the trek back to the hotel unless you wish to eat in their restaurant.

Die Rezeptionistin war sehr nett, das ist aber leider das einzige was an dem Hotel gut war. Bett war sehr unbequem.
Zimmer war nicht wirklich sauber, vor allem das Bad war eine Katastrophe, Waschbecken ist lange nicht abgelaufen, Toilettenspülung musste mit Gewalt betätigt werden, damit sie funktioniert, dauernd ist etwas getropft, was uns die ganze Nacht den Schlaf geraubt hat.
Auf jeden Fall renovierungsbedürftig!
Lage ist nicht gut.

Das Hotel hat seine besten Zeiten gesehen. Personal nett und hilfsbereit. Parkplatz sehr gut und sicher. Das Frühstück war bescheiden, vor allem altes Brot. Die Toilettenspülung war defekt. Der nahe Strand ist super schön und macht alles wett! Das Hotel hat 4 Sterne, ich würde nur 2 geben. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ist es okay. Man merkt, dass man in einem Vorort von Neapel ist, alles ziemlich dreckig und viel Verkehr.

Le personnel sauve la mise!

Les chambres sont propres sans plus,manque de commodités (frigo, oreillers supplémentaires, etc) les oreillers sont aussi mince que des feuilles de papier (ils nous en ont fourni d’autre heureusement!) mais le personnel est tellement extraordinaire que nous avons tout de même passé un bon séjour! Extrêmement serviable, souriant, parfait!

L'accueil est correct. L'eau de la douche était froide le soir de mon arrivée et tiède le matin. Le petit déjeuner est vraiment minimaliste. Le croissant et yaourt ne ne pas en services libre ce n'est pas digne du prix et la catégorie. Le cadre est bien le lit est confortable.

Schönes Hotel mit Abenteuer

Es war sehr schön, nur der Hinweis auf die Angelegenheit sollte besser sein. Empfang war sehr freundlich, das Personal ist sehr bemüht und das Hotel wirkt in dieser Lage wie ein kleines Paradies. Für Touristen, welche viel sehen wollen, ist die Lage zu abgelegen, außer man mietet ein Auto, reist per Auto an oder nimmt genug Geld für das Taxi mit.
Das Essen war sehr gut, Personal kann auf manche etwas abschreckend wirken, da die Kellner etwas \"auftauen\" müssen, um zu lächeln.
Alles in allem waren wir sehr zu Frieden und es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub.

Nous avons passé 6 jours (mi Juin) à la Costiera.
Nous avions sélectionné cet hotel d'abord pour sa piscine.
Nous avons trouvé un établissement récent, situé dans un quartier calme.
Notre chambre était agréable (climatisation, coffre fort)et la salle de bain bien pratique (sêche cheveux, grande douche italienne.)
L'hotel est bien géré, la piscine très propre est idéale après une journée de soleil.
Le personnel, souriant, est toujours prêt à rendre service.
Nous avons apprécié le professionnalisme de Leila.
Une voiture est indispensable car peu de transports en commun.

Hotel di per se grazioso ma mal gestito. Purtroppo situato in una zona molto degradata che non offre nulla. Pulizia delle camera buona, piscina piccola a pagamento e cosa assurda chiudeva alle 18.00. Colazione passabile ma molto poco assortimento. Personale in reception, a parte una signora proveniente dal Maricco veramente molto gentile e competente che ci ha accolto in modo meraviglioso dandoci molte utili informazioni, scadente.

Hotellissa oli mukava henkilökunta. Hotelli oli siisti ja siellä oli ilmastoidut huoneet. Uima-allas maksoi 5 euroa sisältäen valitsemansa juoman. Allas oli puhdas ja siinä mahtui hyvin uimaan. Kannattaa kuitenkin käydä tarkistamassa ennen altaalle menoa että siellä ei ole kauheasti porukkaa koska aurinkotuoleja on vain kahdeksan. Sijainti on ihan ok. Kauppa on lähellä, mutta ruokapaikkoja ei hirveästi ollut. Ranta oli n.500 m päästä hotellista. Hotellin ruoka oli maukasta. Vaihtoehtoina oli joko liha- tai kalaruoka. Hotellille ei ollut kuljetusta.
Sopii niin pariskunnille kuin lapsiperheillekkin.

La stanza è bella ma arriviamo ed il riscaldamento non è attivo. La prima notte è stata al freddo. Gli altri giorni il problema si è risolto. Per un 4 stelle il giudizio complessivo è sufficiente.

PS: non andata nel locale Mamma Rosa, Pizzeria consigliata dall'Hotel.

Nettes Hotel in schräger Gegend

Ein gutes Hotel , sauber und guter Bauzustand, freundliches Personal.
Die Gegend scheint im Umbruch zu sein. Keine gute Anbindung zum Strand, überwiegend von Schwarzen bevölkert.

Quelle surprise! hôtel ok, alentours détestable!

Bien que cet avis ne sera pas visible pour de futurs voyageurs...
Très surprise par les alentours de d'hôtel: saleté et pauvreté, prostituées visibles à moins de 50 mètres de l hôtel.
Aucune indication pour s'y rendre et infrastructure, mais heureusement des italiens serviables et cordiaux.
Cette partie de l'Italie semble à l'abandon. Pensez à avoir du cash et un un GPS à minima une carte de l'Italie! Beaucoup d'humour de dérision et un bagage linguistique vous seront nécessaires!
Quant à d'hôtel, ils ne parlent pas autant de langues que dit sur leur site mais se montrent sympathiques.
La wifi fonctionne 1 jour sur 2, le petit déjeuner..... biscottes cassées, produits que nous avons trouvé chez le discount du coin ......pour un hôtel 4 étoiles!!!

Hotel économique pas trop loin de Naples

L’hôtel est pas mal... mais l'environnement pas très top. on dirait qu'on est dans une ancienne station balnéaire... mais il y a rien.... ou plus rien.... Heureusement il y a un resto juste à côté de l'hôtel avec une carte très abordable car le menu du resto me semblait cher à mon gout et peu varié. Les plages payantes sont à 200m mais le chemin n'est pas agréable... Les sites de Naples, du Vesuve et de Pompéi sont à environ 30-45 min (en respectant les limitations...).
La piscine n'est pas immense mais est très agréable. Le personnel est très bien. Les chambres sont propres et confortable. Pour la clim. il faut demander l'activation et son arrêt à l'accueil... Les petit déjeuner n'étaient pas top... que des sous produits sauf les biscottes!!

Das einzig Gute war der Pool.
Personal unfreundlich und genervt, Essen eine Katastrophe, die Umgebung -10 Punkte. Wir haben uns als Familie nucht getraut, abends vor die Tür zu gehen.
Nie wieder!!!!!

Hotel con personale professionale coordinato benissimo dal direttore Armando. Cucina discreta, con camerieri SIMPATICI. Pulizia camere ottima parcheggio comodo piscina Piccola ma funzionale
Lo consiglio a chi vuole visitare le belle città della Campania

Hotel in der Einöde

Das Hotel liegt sehr entlegen.Ringsherum viel Leerstand und wenig Möglichkeiten ohne Auto.Zimmer sind sauber und ok. Manchmal läuft eine Klimaanlage auf Hochtouren,dann tageweise wieder nicht.Lässt sich nicht manuell regeln.Pool klein, aber sauber.Frühstück eher schlecht.Keine Abwechslung,wenig Geschirr kaum Service.Thermoskannen,Teller,Tassen wirken schmuddelig.Für 4 Sterne spricht kaum jemand vom Personal englisch...Würden nicht wieder dorthin fahren...
