We have been to this hotel on the number of occasions and by far what makes us return is the staff especially ones who have been there over the last few years and who recognise us when we come back. The breakfast waiters are so welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you. Also the pool area is fantastic. Valerio, Gianluca and the team are at absolutely fantastic by the pool. The cleaning staff are very friendly too.
The hotel is very good value for money when you consider all of the above, one thing I would suggest is updating the bathrooms. Some modernisation to those along with in room amenities such as iron lining boards, more powerful hairdryers and a coffee machine would be much welcomed even if it meant paying a little bit extra for the room.
It’s a great location for us when travelling to Naples to be close to family and friends and it’s reachable by car in under 30 minutes from Naples Airport. Definitely a great little find to be out of all of the hustle and bustle and to get some relaxation by the pool.

Excellent value for money. Pool area fantastic. Hotel staff are first class, especially the two guys doing breakfast and the bar. Rooms very clean and cleaners do a great job. The only downside to this hotel is the location, it’s quite a run down area, but I think this is reflected in the price. If you have a hire car it’s a really good base.

This property ruined my holiday as a solo traveler…If you don’t have a car don’t bother, they have limited options of taxi at a very high cost, literally far from everything, poor wifi service in room, complained and they did nothing I told them I need to cancel because am not happy with the service, they refused, told me to go through Expedia, which literally has only chat robot available. I ended up paying for 4 nights, stayed only 3 nights..The restaurant is a bit manageable…this place suites only the locals not good for travellers, you might regret it. Oh I forgot their pool is not accessible to in house members, only for people doing events, which was never stated, Very useless place, I blame Expedia. I booked the next available flight back home.

I stayed at Hotel Giulia Ocean Club for one night while attending a wedding. The hotel is beautiful, with spacious rooms that made for a comfortable stay. Although I didn’t get the chance to use the amenities, the property overall has a lot of potential. That said, the décor felt quite outdated, and the location is best suited for those with a car — it’s not the most walkable area. Despite that, I enjoyed my brief stay and appreciated the space and quiet. Ideal for a short getaway if you’re driving.

For the most part my stay was pretty good. My complaints are that one particular waiter was not paying attention and charged several of my friends dinners to my room which i jad to pay for upon checking out as the friend left already.

2nd, there were no wash cloths/face cloths

3rd, the area around the hotel was pretty deserted and not particularly safe for getting around without a car. The cost for a taxi to the city center was about 60 euro. Coming back was 70 euros or more.

The walls are thin. Constant carts rolling slamming against walls. Heard people snoring and having sex every night. I learned never stay in the same location on a long trip unless you have stayed there before.

On the plus side, staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice, clean and spacious.
The location is terrible, with by a raised motorway right next to it, in a run down suburbian area, which even had prostitutes soliciting outside. Would not have dared to go outside of the hotel grounds, you need a taxi everywhere. I chose it because it says it is close to the airport. This is not true, about 15 miles away, taxi ride cost us 60 euro.
there are no restaurants nearby so you have to eat in the hotel. Food could at best be described as average - I am being kind here. During the day bar and restaurant are not open - nowhere to get a snack or a drink on the premises. ( The kind receptionist gave us a bottle of water and some crisps from the bar)

We used the expedia link in google maps to reach the hotel, and we were lead to a very scary place in the middle of now where. This should be changed. The hotel looks good and well maintained, yet it is located in an industrial area in front of a bridge that always has cars, yet I just have to stress the smell there. We literally could not stand 1 min outside because of the smell. it really sticks in the whole area,i think there is a big dumpster near by thus the price which is compareably low (25 Euros/night). Parking is spacious and hotel is about 20 mins away from naples and 45 mins to pompei. Breakfast is good, mostly sugar based but there is a good portion of ham and cheese. All in all, if you have the sense of smell and hearing rent some place else.

We were 3 persons staying for one night. Room that we got was very spacious, unbelievable comfortable beds and amazing pillows. Bathroom was enormously big with toiletries and nice soft towels. Guys at reception were very friendly and helpful (especially lad whose daughter plays for FC Napoli). Free and safe parking at premises. Breakfast was ok, nothing special but fresh. Great value for money!

Hotel clean, Marcus receptionist spoke perfect english and helped us a lot with where to go and do etc.... Other staff very limited English but were very helpful and patient with us. Food at Hotel very limited most of the menu options where not available. Lunch was quite basic but they had really nice motzerella cheese. Area around the hotel was a bit rough and there are prostitutes along some of the mail roads but this was also around most of naples. Naples itself was a nightmare to drive around and very scruffy lots of rubish on raodsides. We enjoyed going up to the Castel Sant'Elmo as there were stunning views across the whole bay of naples. We also enjoyed going to Herculeum. Another receptionist suggested Key Beach which was about 25 mins away.... very nice beach not too busy and very clean but you have to drive through a very rough area to get there. We also went to Ischia for a day trip, were warned not to take a taxi as very expensive so took the bus across to Thermal spring area but didnt go in as too expensive ( suggest going to the free one, but we didnt have time. Spent time on a beach which was very graveley but lovely clear warm water. sunbeds cost 15 euro each! and beach areas very small but we knew this before. its a beutiful island but quite expensive. nice to see little houses and nice gardens as apposed to napples which is all very run down blocks of flats.

Nice hotel, not for tourists

Receptionists were so friendly and welcoming. Facilities nice, nice pool area, food and wine was great. Some staff though it felt they were annoyed we were there and the hotel was often so quiet we felt awkward being there. Also we were told dinner open until 11pm, twice we arrived about 9:30/10pm and were only allowed the set menu, which would’ve been fine but another couple came after us and offered off the main menu. I think this is a hotel for business travellers rather than tourists.

lovely hotel- can't say more

Even though the hotel is a litre out of the way from city but if you are rent a car then that's not a problem at all. Very nicely decorated and well kept hotel. Would Benifit from having an iron in the room for those who plan to attend meetings. Can also improve the breakfast menu. But overall very satisfied with our stay especially for the amount you pay per night.
The use of swimming pool is charged extra €5, this should really be free for those staying in hotel.

Good Place - fantastic staff

Hotel Giulia is a great place to stay. The staff in particular were absolutely fantastic. Rosa, Anamarie, Marco, and the 2 other guys whose names I did not get, were always friendly, and so helpful. Rosa actually helped the day I arrived because I couldn't figure out how to put my car in reverse (DUH moment for me). She gladly came outside, and told me I had to lift up the little lever under the gear shift. Anamarie did everything humanely possible to make sure I could print out my boarding pass. Marco was always there with a big smile and hearty buongiorno! Heck, they all did that! And if it wasn't morning, it was buonasera!

The staff in the dining room were also great. I had a great time getting to know Giovanni and Anna. They always greeted me warmly in the morning, and knew that I always wanted an espresso AND a cappuccino! (they were probably thinking \"those Italian-Americans!\"

I will miss my amici at Hotel Giulia. But, as I told Giovanni and Anna the day we left, we do plan to return to live in the Napoli area. And when we do, I will make sure to stop in and say \"Ciao Amici mio! Como estai!\"

As for the negatives, it is a bit dark in terms of the colors. However, the rooms are large and nice, and the staff...they just made the difference. Also, please don't judge the hotel based on the surrounding area. There are prostitutes on corners, however, prostitution is legal, and it is found throughout the area. The staff made the difference. I love them.

Great hotel, if you don't want to be in the cent.

This is a lovely hotel with great staff and excellent value for money. Our visit was in March so the pool was closed and the hotel was not too busy. We had a large family sized room which was luxurious and kept spotlessly clean and tidy every day. The breakfast was more than adequate and staff worked really hard to accommodate my requests as I am a coeliac. My only complaint was the noise from whatever function was on there on the Saturday night and for two other nights when guests on the floor above us appeared to have a party. Those nights made it necessary to wear ear plugs to sleep. The hotel is not in the nicest of areas but that didn't bother us, it's proximity to the motorway made it easy to get to and very convenient for heading out on our day trips. You certainly would need a car to stay here. It's a 25 to 35 minute drive to Naples centre, depending on traffic. Having said all that I think we would stay there again.

We have recently returned from spending a week in Italy staying at Hotel Guilia. We had two room as we are a family of five. The rooms are big (especially the family room), very clean with big bathrooms. Our rooms were facing the back (on the side of the road), but there was hardly any noise. The airconditioners were very effective, so a very comfortable stay.
The pool area is beautiful and despite being very busy has adequate seating arrangements and sun loungers. There is a charge to use the pool though (5 euros per day), which given the facilities seems reasonable.
Breakfast was good, though not varied. It was the same everyday. One word of caution though, have tea or Americano as the Cappucino is cold!!!
You will need a car though to get to and from the hotel, it is not easily accessible by public transport. There is a secure car park in the hotel.

Disappointing experience

The location of the hotel is literally middle of no where. The room was smelly, water leaking from the room in front of the door, possibly from the AC. Horrible food and pricy. No entertainment apart from a pool. Be aware that you must have a car during your whole stay there, otherwise the taxi drivers can rob you easily ( they will charge as much as they like) and there is no public transport or amenities near by.
I do not trust most of the review sent and following my stay I can honesty tell you that some reviews look like fake to me.

Ok for one night

Very nice hotel in a dodgy neighbourhood - we had a room at the front which has a busy motorway flyover about 25 metres away so very noisy all night.
The pool (at the rear) looked lovely but closed at 6pm so we couldn't really make use of it as we only arrived at 5.30pm.
As we were just there for one night before flying out it was fine but we couldn't have stayed there longer due to the noisy, slightly dodgy location.
The inclusive breakfast was good though!

The best thing about this hotel apart from it being situated close to the main highway and away from the tourist resorts,(as long as you have a rental car) is their receptionist \"Giuseppe \", he is the most helpful person you will ever meet in Italy .....and speaks perfect English ,hence him being brought up in Canada .

Great hotel, horrible location

The hotel was so nice that it was completely out of place in the location. Half a block down the street was what appeared to be a garbage dump, with trash blocking half of the two lane road. Prostitutes were frequently on the streets in the area. The hotel itself was something of an oasis. At least it felt safe. And the facilities were modern, even upscale. The price was terrific, with free parking, wi-fi, and breakfast included. I would definitely go back, for the price and quality of the hotel itself. It's very far from Naples, so don't think about it without a rental car.

Hotel Giulia is a beautiful oasis in an uninspiring area of Italy - but perfect if you have a car available and wish to explore Naples, Amalfi coast, Vesuvius, Pompeii, Herculaneum, etc. Great value bed & breakfast in well-appointed, clean, spacious rooms; lovely dining room and inside and outside lounge areas; exceptional swimming pool and outdoor area. Pleasant and courteous staff in a safe-feeling environment. The only downside to our stay was that the pool area was often closed as in use for private functions. This also applied to the dining room some evenings, with no prior notification to hotel guests. Simple notices posted to give prior warning of these closures would have avoided a great deal of disappointment & frustration to guests.

Cette très proche de la route mais la chambre donnait sur la piscine très sympa.
Restauration avec un menu à 25 euros très bon.

Jolie piscine mais manque d’information la concernant, à partir de 18h il n’y a plus d’accès car des soirées privées sont organisés.
Pas d’animation et d’activité proposé au sein de l’hôtel.
Si personne non véhiculé, un métro est à proximité mais la zone est dangereuse et mal fréquenté donc ça limite les sorties de l’hôtel. Tres peu de restaurants ou de magasins à proximité
Le personnel est sympathique mais la femme à l’accueil ne la pas été et n’a pas répondu à nos attentes. (Mon paréo a atterris au balcon du dessous, elle n’a pas voulu appeler la chambre concerné ce qui fait qu’il a juste été égaré et non restitué). D’autres personnels sont très agréables à l’accueil, à l’écoute et de bon renseignement sont donnés, Alessandro et son frère ont été très gentils. Pour le ménage tout est bien changé mais malheureusement le sol n’est pas lavé et les draps pas forcément non plus. Le téléphone de la chambre ne fonctionnait pas ce qui fait que nous devions descendre (le personnel ne voulait pas accepter le fait que le son ne fonctionnait pas de notre côté)

The hotel and the poolarea was amazing. The only thing was that it was very far from Naples and calling a taxi was a big problem, especially for us that were 9 people. The hotel had problem getting s taxi unless you order it a day before. And it was expensive. You could not walk to the shoppingmall og groserystore. So if you cant Get a taxi or have your own car your kinda stuck at the hotel.

Luckely there is a trainstation 10 min away that we took a lot. Also the train to Rome went from this station👍

Eccezzionale. Pulito, moderno, organizzato e personale molto disponibile e cordiale. Parcheggio gratuito all’interno. Nota dolente solo un po’ rumorosa la stanza per via dell’ascensore adiacente, e di una coppia di ospiti che hanno festeggiato il loro amplesso fino a notte inoltrata con rumori, versi e schiamazzi inequivocabili. Ma l’hotel non poteva farci nulla. Caffè pagato (ottimo tra l’altro) al nostro arrivo. Grazie . Cinque stelle meritatissime

Leider wurde ich bei der Hotelauswahl miserabel beraten.
Der Expedia Mitarbeiter hat mich unterirdisch schlecht beraten. Das Hotel liegt nicht im Zentrum von Nepal wie gewünscht und mehrfach erwähnt, sondern in einem verlassenen Industriegebiet, das auch als Müllhalde genutzt wird. Keine Einkaufstmöglichtkeiten, keine Läden etc. vorhanden. Der Weg nach Neapel beträgt 30 km und dauert mit dem Zug länger als 1 Stunde mit umsteigen, was überhaupt nicht geeignet ist für 2 Frauen und ein Kind.
Die Gegend ist velassen wir hatten Angst im Dunkeln den verlassenen Weg zurück zum Hotel zu nehmen.
Wir konnten den Urlaub nicht genießen, das Hotel liegt auch noch direkt an der Autobahn. Von Neapel haben wir nicht viel gesehen. Ich bin sehr entäuscht zumal ich regelmäßig bei Expedia buche. Durch die widrigen Umstände haben wir an einigen Tagen das Hotel nicht verlassen.
Ich fordere Expedia auf hierzu schriftlich Stellung zu nehmen. Ein echter Horrorurlaub!
Wir konnten uns weder erholen noch etwas erleben. Gerade als langjährige kundin von Expedia habe ich das Vertrauen in eine qualifizierte Beratung verloren.

Scarsissima attenzione all'ospite

Premetto che da anni mi fermo volentieri in questa location. Purtroppo ultimamente la manutenzione lascia parecchio a desiderare. Mi spiace inoltre rilevare che nonostante avessi fatto presente le gravi ragioni di una prenotazione fatta per una coppia di colleghi dell''Abruzzo a cui si è scoperchiato il tetto e quindi non sono potuti partire si sono comunque trattenuti il denaro della camera pur non occupandola. Peccato per questa caduta di stile

Tout était super, très propre, calme le personnel très sympa sauf une serveuse \"brune\" qui ne savait pas dire bonjour.
Le seul inconvénient est le p'tit déjeuner qui n'est pas digne d'un hotel 4* je retrouve le même dans un ibis budget c'est dommage.

Wij waren er einde juni 2019. Ligging aan een industriezone en slcht onderhouden, een beetje een achterbuurt. Er was heel weinig bezetting. Daardoor verhuren ze het zwembad en de club aan derden voor feesten, met als gevolg beperkte toegang voor de hotelgasten. Het zwembad, als open, was wel dik in orde ! Ofwel heb je een kamer aan de kant van de autostrade (veel nachtlawaai), ofwel de kant van het zwembad, met als gevolg heel veel lawaai van de feesten tot ruim na middernacht. Restaurant is ongezellig, enkel één menu met keuze, best OK prijs/kwaliteit, de wijnkaart afwezig met als gevolg dat de wijn van de menu echt slecht was. De airco op de kamers wordt gestuurd vanuit de receptie met 2 standen: aan en uit. Het personeel was wel vriendelijk maar kon aan de situatie weinig wijzigen. Bepaalde onder hen spreken geen of weinig Engels.

Llegamos y no habia nadie en la recepcion hasta que despues de largos 10 minutos esperando y tocando el timbre aparecio un chico sudoroso y saliendo del baño.
A la mañana siguiente nos despertamos, me dispongo a ir a la ducha y no hay agua, voy a llamar a recepcion para que lo arreglen y el telefono no va. El desayuno solo tienes una h y encima la calidad de las cosas era horrible aparte de el feo trato de la camarera, enfin tenia reservadas 3 noches y nos quedamos solo una. La peor experiencia de mi vida

O hotel é lindo com uma belíssima piscina. Quartos mal conservados, sujo e com forte odor de cigarro. Café da manhã abaixo do esperado para um hotel 4 estrelas, mas era OK pra um de 3. O atendimento muito cordial. Staff muito simpático. Localização horrivel.

Prima notte da incubo! Camera fronte strada senza insonorizzazione per cui notte in bianco a causa del continuo passaggio ad alta velocità delle auto per tutta la notte! Materasso da cambiare perché si dorme praticamente sulle molle! Acqua in bagno con il contagocce, impossibile farsi la doccia!
Secondo giorno, cambio stanza, questa volta camera silenziosa, materasso comodo, flusso dell’acqua ok! Andrebbe garantito un soggiorno confortevole a qualunque ospite e non solo a chi ha la fortuna di beccare la camera giusta!

Отель требует ремонта, душевая кабина не закрывается, на стенах отбита штукатурка, шкафы без плечиков, в общем впечатление под ремонт. раньше была помпезность, а сейчас это выглядит в убитом состоянии, завтраки это печалька полная круасаны, упи, джемы, йогурт и хлопья и на 1 человека положена 1 чашечка кофе, ни омлета, ни блинчика ничего теплого кроме 1 чашки кофе......... Отель находится в легко находимом месте, но за территорию отеля страшно выходить пешком.

Tjekkede ud med det samme og fandt et andet hotel. Giulia ligger lige ud til stradaen og der er ingen mulighed for at komme ind til centrum. Desuden frarådede personalet at vi færdes i kvarteret om aftenen. Absolut ikke til storbyferie med den beliggenhed
