Good hotel in great location with great staff.

I stayed there for 4 nights with my son we have enjoyed all that this hotel offered. Excellent location, great staff not just reception but kitchen and cleaning staff as well. Good breakfast and comfy beds. So many restaurants nearby to enjoy local food.

One thing that I have noticed that breakfast didn’t have any hot food (omelettes or scrambled egg etc).

Experience with room 100 assigned to us:
Many tiles on the floor were cracked
Ac was really filthy with dust
Bathroom curtain with mold at the button
Room is right in front of the room used for storage and right in from of stairs to other rooms with a table and some chairs in front so you could hear people talking screaming and doors open and close the whole night

We booked a family room and when we arrived at night and were check in a room we didn’t like, so we were moved to another room, with a wobbly toilet seat, the lamps were dusty and spider webs on the ceiling. Air con was not at its best. Breakfast was alright. But they could have done better with the rate they charge per night. Thumbs up to Jovana at the reception she been nice to us.

The girl that works front desk as the receptionist id a robot that didnt know what to do to help even the slightest bit. My hotel room was very very small. The shower made me feel like i was in a tight phone booth it was so small. Lack of amenities. dirty/gross floor. and the cleaning crew knocking on my door aggressively more than once was highly unappreciated @ 10am, one hour before my check out. And speaking of the cleaning crew, please tell your cleaning crew to keep the noise level down in the morning when some of guests are trying to sleep. All that slamming of doors and knocking stuff over loudly was very annoying. And, i wont even go into detail on how they lock the front door on your at the hotel after midnight so if you go out to party, you gotta wait for somebody to come open the door for you which isnt a hotel but more like a boarding school with such a rule. This place is awful

Disappointing, to say the least

This hotel is actually a little gem … however, just after I had arrived for a 6 night stay … a group of maybe 15-20 teenagers arrived and were there for the same time. They were very badly mannered and were so noisy all the time they were there … partying til 4 am most nights causing so much noise and shouting down corridors, banging doors and just behaving so badly.
When I approached the reception they told me that they expected to be noise after 10pm … and indeed there were notices up to that effect … however they seemed incapable or reluctant to do anything about the chaos that ensued every night. It really was intolerable, and so disappointing given the price I had paid for the break.
I also could not understand why the reception kept turning off my air conditioning … without me asking and without them telling me. Given the extremely hot weather and the very hot communal areas and corridors the air conditioning was essential.
Finally, breakfast … practically every day the Coffee / hot water machine wasn’t working … and was told to use one of the other machines … only wanted hot water for a cup of tea … the staff looked at me in horror that I should want a cup of tea for breakfast … one member of staff boiled some water for me on a couple of days … but I think she will have got in to trouble for doing so as she was doing it as a favour for me.
Very disappointing as I believe the hotel is on a good location and could be extremely good. Not good on guest satisfaction

This is our first trip to Rome. And the stay here couldn’t have gone more wonderfully. Everyone from front of house to the house keeping team were so kind and friendly. Our rooms were kept in tip-top condition whilst we were out. We came back to remade beds mopped floors refill on toiletries and fresh towels wow. Breakfast buffet was plenty with vegetarian options and great coffee and seating area. I can’t wait to book here again! Do remember to leave your keys at front of house so they can tidy up for you and bring around €40 for your city tax for roughly 3 nights stay. Taxi from here to Ciampino airport is approx €30 euro and Rome central waking is about 30 min walk. Termini station is 15 min walk. It’s perfectly aligned to get you where you need to be.

Great location to walk Rome.
Used this hotel as a base to walk Rome.
30 min walk to Colosseum, 40 to Trevi fountain and other attractions just over 1 hour to Vatican. But metro line and buses nearby too. 30 min from airport taxi €31.
Comfortable practical clean rooms, we used just to sleep having left at. 9am not returning till 11pm. Staff very good and housekeeping everyday. Small continental breakfast included.

Right from the moment I walked in, the staff was accommodating. I arrived hours earlier than I planned and was just going to drop off my bag off and explore. The Hotel staff allowed me to check in right away and provided me with delicious coffee, the way to my heart! My second day, I woke up a bit late and had just missed breakfast. They opened up the breakfast area and allowed me to make coffee and brought out what they had left over. I was so grateful! Thank you Caterina, Joan, and everyone else that was so nice to me my entire stay!

The only thing that we didn’t like was the wifi connection, was really poor but it’s not their fault, apart from that for the price ill recommend it 100%.

The hotel was in a very convenient area of Rome but it felt a little dangerous at night with men sleeping on cardboard boxes by the train station… the staff were very nice the breakfast average but my bed was like a rock that made crinkle sounds. I think the mattress had to be 30 years old and really needed replacing ! A small but good hot shower with an air conditioner that worked made up for it.

we were in Rome for few days with family. the room was too small for all four of us, not much place to walk around. The air conditioning was sometimes good and sometimes no cooling. Didnt get extra fan when it was hot.
The night duty reception lady was very kind and helpful. The room service was good , they clean the rooms everyday and provide new toiletries. Room price was a bit expensive but cannot expect more or less in Rome.

It was quite inconvenient that the Wi-Fi didn’t reach our room, which was bothersome. However, they promptly resolved the issue with the shower drain the next day, which was fantastic. Nevertheless, a suction holder for soap in the shower would be beneficial.

I personally do not like shower curtains as the water tends to get all over the place but it was workable. One electric socket was not working but luckily the other one was. No complains other than that.

Property is convenient to Termini but kind of sketchy area. Front desk controls a/c and must hand key in when leaving for the day. Bed and pillows are uncomfortable. Shower head was broken and a 2 tiered bath?! Breakfast was decent and front staff were friendly. Hotel is very hot. And very loud!

The hotel was overall okay, one of the negatives was that the AC is controlled by the front desk so it was inconvenient to have to call the front desk in the middle of the night to turn off/on. Also the key needs to be left at the front desk when one leaves the hotel.
There was a big group of students staying right across from my room, they were loud every night/early morning (not the hotel’s fault) however there should be rules set for big groups as this is a hotel. It also felt that the walls were paper thin as I could hear every single thing they would say and everytime they would open and close their door.

Little surprise hotel

The reviews of this hotel made me sceptic before our trip, however it wasn’t bad.

The room was always clean (that’s true we didn’t get fresh towels every day but personally I don’t mind it), the size of the room was okay, neither big nor small, had minimum equipments like TV, hairdryer...
Bed is hard but it’s a question of taste, I loved it. When I asked for extra pillows they sorted it out in a second. So for the money you pay for this hotel it’s totally worth it.

Cons:
- Poor breakfast choice, same thing every day with a small variety of choices (e.g.: 1 type os cheese and salami, no vegetables, 2 types of bread...) I believe there would be space for more food on that tables.
- School-kids: because the hotel is cheap, it is popular for school trips. And kids are loud. But I just had to ring reception and they sorted it out.

I think the negative reviews on here don't do justice to this hotel; it is a decent one and remember that you got what you pay for. I can definitely say I had an overall pleasant stay. Hello. It was our 3rd time in Rome, 3rd time at Tempio di Pallade. I guess they turn the hotel into students camp. Now we had the smallest room in the hotel (I think), no refrigerator in the room and poor breakfast. Also the staff with cleanliness was changed and behind the bathroom door it was very dusty. So, no more Tempio di Pallade for us!

Excellent hotel walking distance from Termini

It’s a really nice place to experiment the Rome arquitecture and ambiance. The personal is multilingual. Thin walls and ceiling though so, in my case I got waken up for unconscious guests. Getting there by foot is not far from Termini however, your luggage will suffer because Rome municipality is really lazy. Dirty and broken streets and curbside. Uncleaned graffiti, etc. But, I felt safe walking in and out later at night or anytime. La Metro is also very close by. Nice Restaurants as well even thought the hotel offers a good breakfast buffet.

Don’t expect much from this hotel.

We rented a room for a double bed and got two singles. Plus 2 pull out bunk beds. We also were supposed to receive a bottle of wine and never did. WiFi cost 3 Euro per device! But the entrance looks very nice and the check in and out process itself was easy. They made us leave our keys anytime we went out to run an errand.

The most terrible experience:
My daughter fell from the upper bunk bed hitting her head on the ground because the crappy protective fence simply went off.
We were waiting for the ambulance at the lobby area, with a towel in blood as my daughter was bleeding from her head, but for the hotel receptionist it was like \"business as usual\". He didn't even bother asking whether the kid is OK or we need something etc.
They charge you 4 euros for 48 hours Wi-Fi access but this is only for one device. You have to pay for each device you want to connect.
Terrible breakfast, as non-existent.
No lift, had to carry suitcases three stories up and back.
Simply descent room.

It's not worth the money. Pay more for something better.

* close to termini(15 minutes by walking), bus (3 minutes walking) and metro (5 minutes walking)
* breakfast has a variety of choices
* staff is friendly and professional
NOTE: we left our passports in the lobby and the handsome guy at the front desk locked the passport pouch in hotel's safe. We were so grateful of that

Nice hotel. The room was very small, but it was nicely decorated and clean. Breakfast was nice. The manager was very helpful, spending time to explain how best to get around the city for sightseeing from the hotel. The location was a little disappointing. It was about a 10-minute walk to the station and not the most pleasant part of town, lots of vacant stores and graffiti, but there was a couple of nice restaurants within a block. From the station, you can hop on one of the tour buses, and the metro is inexpensive and definitely the easiest way to get around.

A good hotel experience at a sensible price.

The hotel is conveniently located, about a 10 minute walk from the main railway station. The staff spoke excellent English, were very welcoming and helpful. While the double room was quite small and the bathroom a little past it's best, the overall experience was more than satisfactory for the price paid (£78 for 2 nights, plus tourist tax). Breakfast, included in the price, was of the buffet variety, a good start to the day. We would be happy to stay again when next in Rome.

We took a chance on an Expedia mystery deal and were pleasantly surprized. Reception was welcoming and helpful ( Thank you Alberto and Aldo), the breakfast filling, and the location was near to grocery store and some small restaurants and less than 20 minutes to the coliseum. Nice, quiet , comfortable sleep.

I've booked this as a blind booking. And I was very scared when I read all the other reviews. But I had a surprisingly good experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is not bad, walking distance to termini and coliseum. The hotel is simple, but clean with a decent included breakfast. Good budget option!

We did the blind booking - which we will never do again to say the least. The hotel reviews were pretty accurate. Lots of high school kids running the halls at night which was very loud late into the night, not the best neighborhood, about 30 blocks from train station and majority of site seeing areas. Lobby and staff were nice. Breakfast was below average with barely cleaned silverware and plates. They are really pushing it saying it is a 3 star hotel - 1 and 1/2 at best. Rome has a lot of foreingers pan handling and lottering around the sites - be careful - don't take or buy anything.

I only recommend this hotel if you take the train to Rome. It's a 15 min walk from the Termini. Not the greatest area, but there are some nice little restaurants right around the corner. Bit out of the way, you can walk to some attractions but it's best if you learn to use the subway. Breakfast was sub par and crowded. Hard beds and lovely stain on ceiling. Not horrible but would not stay here again.

Hotel bem antigo, sem estrutura atualizada para atender a alta demanda de clientes da temporada.
O quarto tinha ar condicionado, mas o comando (controle) era central, ou seja, era preciso solicitar para ligar o ar na recepção. Telefone pra falar diretamente com a recepção não passava de um item se decoração, pois não funcionava.
Box para banho era individual de tão pequeno.
Wifi oferecido por eles funciona apenas na recepção, nos quartos não.
O café da manhã era bom, mas limitado.
Apesar da falta de estrutura, os atendentes foram muito prestativos e gentis.
A localização é boa, perto dos transportes públicos (onibus, metrô e trem) e de fácil acesso.

Gostei da estadia, fomos bem tratados, em especial pelo Tarcísio que foi maravilhoso conosco e ajudou em tudo que precisamos. A única reclamação é que nos três dias que ficamos lá não limparam nosso quarto e o café não é o melhor de todos, mas dá pra comer.

Oda küçük ama uyumak icin yeterli. Kahvalti atistirmak icin yeterli. Yanindan tren raylari geciyor rahatsiz edici. Fiyat uygun. Otelde banyo icin terlik yok. İtalya ya seyahatte bulunan Türk ler yanlarında terlik ve ıslak mendil getirmeli.

Es un alojamiento a unos 25 min andando al Coliseo. Me parece buena ubicación para pasar unos días visitando Roma. Además la habitación está muy bien para lo que es. La única pega es que había un ruido en la habitación que molestaba para dormir, pero el resto bien. El desayuno poca variedad, pero de muy buena calidad. Recomendaríamos este hotel para visitar la ciudad!

Una buona struttura praticamente in centro, con una breve passeggiata (15 min) mi sono trovato davanti al colosseo.
Gentilezza e attenzione alle mie esigenze mi portano a scegliere di sicuro questa struttura se dovrò tornare in zona.

Uma ótima estadia se estiver no quarto certo

A organização e recepção do hotel são excelentes, todos que trabalham nele são muito gentis e solícitos. Em relação ao quarto, ficamos em um prédio separado da recepção, mas isso não gerava grande incômodo pra ir a outra rua para tomar café ou deixar as chaves. O café da manhã era simples com muitas opções doces, mas poucos opções de coisas salgadas.
Em relação ao quarto, era organizado, limpo quando chegamos, mas tem algumas escadas e obstáculos dentro dele (para entrar no banheiro ou ir até a sacada). O chuveiro aquece a água muito rapidamente e isso foi ótimo.
Mas o que mais incomodou foi o barulho dos outros quartos, as paredes e o teto pareciam finos demais; dava pra ouvir conversa de outros quartos, os passos e uma festa no andar de cima, que incomodou para dormir.
De modo geral, a estadia foi boa, as pessoas do hotel são ótimas, mas o preço acabou sendo incompatível com a qualidade do quarto.
