We booked this hotel for the night before an early flight since it was close to the airport and offered 24 hour shuttle service to the airport. We found out shortly after check in that the shuttle service was unavailable after being told, \"No problem. No problem,\" when I called to confirm. We had to pay taxi fare of $55 (TWICE) because we were 2 travelers with flight times 7 hours apart.

The hotel is very clean and professionally operated. Desk staff were wonderful as were the restaurant staff. Breakfast varied little each day with no hot foods but coffee. Eggs were served as cold omelette and cold hard boiled. 1 cheese and meat available. The rest being cold cereal and plentiful sweet pastries of the usual generic type.
The hotel is well maintained and very clean. The parking is very secure and plentiful. The area around the hotel is quite noisy and dirty. Many immigrant men hang out in this area and are always in 3-4’s which may pose problems at night so beware.
The room was spacious and clean with a wonderful balcony which sadly overlooked the busy street. The A/C and room fridge were both excessively noisy and along with too hard mattress made for poor sleeping conditions.
We stayed here 2 nights in Apr/25 and had many less issues particularly the room comfort was preferable on that stay. That said I would consider returning but not in the room we had on this occasion.

A Diamond in the rough. This area of Naples is a bit shoddy. The hotel property however is extremely well run, clean and safe. The staff are awesome and treated us like royalty. 5 star service. The secure parking area was needed for peace of mind and the underground lot gave extra piece of mind. The rooms though dated are well maintained and clean, and large by Italian standards. Breakfast was varied and plentiful with the highly trained restaurant waiters providing an extremely professional level of service. Do try the ristorante. It will not disappoint. We will return in future.

Beautiful hotel.

Nice hitel with spacous room but not sure about the area. We arrived after dark and it seemed sketchy. Underground free parking and free breakfast are big plusses.

Nice and cosy hotel outside Napoli and to our surprise we found out that its own restaurant is very famous and a favourite among locals. This business offers free parking in the underground garage for those who booked the hotel. Lovely Italian cuisine with a rich choice from pasta and meat to fish and seafood. We had lunch elsewhere everyday during our trips outside Napoli but for dinner we came back to Donato for their lovely food and of course “Il vino” :) Friendly and professional staff both at reception and restaurant. many thanks to Roberto, Pepe and Co. 5 stars for the whole experience and I would rate higher than that if I could.

Wasn’t even parked yet and an employee started to yell that I had 5 min to check in and then park the car. Check in guy was abrupt and took time to take in the info from passport so the guy from parking yelled even more at me for being there more than 5 min. Area very sketchy. It was cheap but not en enjoyable stay. Dining room was surprisingly very nice. They had live lobsters etc.

We brought a car so don’t know how accessible it is if using a public transport. Going to the hotel, the area seems shady, we were starting to be concerned if we made mistake in choosing the hotel. But then we arrived to a nice hotel with secured parking at the basement. The room was clean and we had a balcony. Breakfast is Italian continental style. 1 kind of cold cuts and cheese, sliced fruits and different kinds of pastries, I only like the croissants and the coffee. The restaurant looked nice so I made sure to have dinner there. Food was good, big portions and good price. Bottle of wine was cheap. 9 euro. Other restaurants normally charge 15-20 euro for a bottle of wine. The staff are friendly, especially Sacha at the reception.

Overall a good budget hotel if you are looking for something on that area.
The average rating was due to the lack of communication regarding the restaurant closure during our stay, together with the reservation we had a dinner reservation and it was clear that this was the reason why we chosen the restaurant, we were on,h informed that it was closed at check in.

I ordered two twin beds for a reason. But the host gave us the room with two twin beds made up one large bed. I snored during the night, my wife could not sleep while snore to her ears. I had to sleep on sofa in living room the first night. The cleaning lady came next day and separated the bed.

Nothing but good things to say. Clean, nice modern bathroom, firm bed, convenient parking, great breakfast spread. Very attentive and helpful folks. We picked the hotel because it's only a 20-minute drive from the airport, no fuss, no traffic. The restaurant is top notch and beautiful. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Great restaurant, excellent service, friendly staff. The restaurant chef runs the hotel and the restaurant. The restaurant is amazing. One of the best in Naples. The bed had a foam memory mattress and pillows, so we slept like babies. Nice deco and a great variety of wines of all region. Impressive!
Clean, plenty of parking. Ideal if you are driving but not if you are walking. Good size of rooms and great air conditioning. Lovely balcony, great breakfast buffet. I will recommend and will comeback every time I go to Naples

Beautiful hotel, wonderful service and food

This hotel is beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, many have balconies, and it's very clean. The restaurant is great, and the included breakfast in the morning has a lot of options to choose from, both sweet and salty. I rate the area neutral because it's pretty countryside to look at from the room, but it's in the suburbs of Naples and not close for siteseeing. Also, traffic and one way streets make driving a challenge. It is a wonderful hotel though, and for me it's close to family.

Overall the experience was good. The location is not particularly ideal (though accessible by public transit if one doesn't mind waiting a bit for the bus)...and the internet connection was a bit spotty. Breakfast was great, though, and the bed was comfortable.

Perfect hotel close to Naples

Hotel is really really good and price couldn’t be better, clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, beautiful building and good restaurant.the only thing to habe in mind is for sure u need to have Car to go to Naples, is 25 mints drive to the center but that’s nothing compared with the pros of easy parking and 24 h check in .
If we go to Naples again definitely we’ll book it again!!

Nice hotel but shame about the location

A basic hotel that feels a little outdated. Our room was very big with a lovely balcony. We had requested a room at the back because previous posters had mentioned the road noise at the front. It was very quiet until a tour group arrived on our second date and every word could be heard from our neighbouring room. The location is terrible: run down and a car is needed to get around. However driving anywhere near Naples is not for the faint hearted. It ruined our trip to a degree and we decided to change hotels to avoid this level of traffic. Not the hotel's fault but definitely a negative factor for us.

Unless you have a car, this hotel is a fair bit out from Naples. A one way taxi fare is about 35 Euros. Having said that, we had a rental car and the parking area at the hotel was secure.
The check in was a bit messy. The telephone kept ringing and it took a fair bit to check in.
Staff are friendly and the breakfast spread is big for Italian standard.

The hotel is clean and staff is friendly. Antonio at front desk was very helpful. The Metro station is 4 kilometers away. So one has to take taxi to go there. The Bus station is not in walking distance. For senior citizens it becomes an issue.

Old world Italian excellence on the edge of Napoli

An effortless check-in, ample parking, welcoming espresso and tour of the well-appointed wine cellar when we arrived, followed by suggestions on making our way around Naples... terrific. The room was sizeable and the bathroom and balcony were enormous. Additionally, breakfast was cast and delicious.

A hotel a bit out of the way of anything touristy.
If you do not have a car, then get a taxi from the metro station because there is not a close bus drop off location.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean. Some areas smelt like smoke, but the rooms were fine.
Theres a restaurant connected to the hotel -- very reasonable prices and really good food.
Overall, good stay for the price.

Old School Hotel, with style!

This is no plastic box hotel chain... Old style, with staff who recognise you and put you at ease. A fantastic restaurant for breakfast, dining and Fine Dining. Rooms of excellent quality, well provisioned and clean. It felt almost like staying 'at home' it was so comfortable. Parking secure. Neighbourhood in which it is set has lots of choice for dinner, etc.

I could not have imagined staying in the city, when we had the luxurious delight of staying here.

I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Very friendly staff. Secure parking which they have CCTV cameras watching. Bedroom very clean and comfortable. Restaurent is absolutely amazing ... the seafood linguine was the best I have ever tasted!!!!!! Great breakfast and offered a free drink on arrival whilst waiting for the room! They also allowed us to check in early!!!! The rooms need updating ... but apart from that this hotel was perfect!!!!!!

Great location , great food .

This is a family run hotel .The service in this hotel was the best my family and I have had in a long time. The staff welcome us very warmly when we arrived , helped us take our luggage to the rooms. The rooms were very spacious and clean, tv channels in French, English , Italian.
This hotel has a beautiful restaurant that stays open until 11pm. The food in this restaurant is of great quality ,and at a very reasonable price .Believe me , the quality of the food was great and the service magnificent. I will recommend this hotel any time and next time I go to Naples, I will definitely stay at this hotel.
It was a great experience.

Super freundliches Personal, sehr hilfsbereit egal ob es im Restaurant oder beim Frühstück Ich empfehle es sehr gerne vorallem wegen der Tiefgarage wo man sein Auto in Sicherheit hinstellen kann. Die Anbindung zur nächsten Bus Station ist etwas umständlich da gerad Baustelle war aber wir haben’s gefunden und dann mit der Metro weiter nach napoli Centro reingefahren. Ansonsten alles ok

Tranquillo soggiorno alle porte di Napoli

Soggiornato solo una notte in coppia. La camera era grande e pulita. Ottimo assortimento per la colazione con tanti dolci fatti da loro. Inoltre era presente anche una zona continentale con salumi, formaggi, uova sode, omelette, ecc. Non ho avuto possibilità di provare il ristorante, chiuso per riposo settimanale. A disposizione degli ospiti un parcheggio e un garage all'interno della struttura. In coclusione un'esperienza totalmente positiva.

Personale professionale ma allo stesso tempo molto cortese e accogliente. Uso la struttura perchè è comoda per i miei impegni (e con un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo), ma è abbastanza lontana dal centro storico di Napoli. Se ci si muove in auto, però può essere una valida alternativa. Camere classiche, che non sono propriamente di mio gusto, però pulite e ben tenute. Non ho usufruito del ristorante, però mi hanno detto che si mangia molto bene. Colazione all'italiana, con poco di internazionale, ma ci sta. Altro punto a suo favore, la presenza del parcheggio interno.

Io,mio marito e le mie 2 bambine, abbiamo soggiornato una notte presso questa struttura. Ci siamo trovati benissimo , personale gentile ed accogliente, posizione della struttura in un posto comodo,parcheggio auto predisposto per gli ospiti dell'hotel, abbiamo fatto un'ottima colazione dove tutto era squisito. Ultima nota positiva hanno accettato anche l'ingresso della nostra cagnolina. Consiglio vivamente questa struttura a tutti.
