We were so surprised to find this peaceful sanctuary after experiencing the colourful excitement of Sayulita. Hotel Vogue is located next to the Plaza but is a calm retreat with loads of plants and trees and tastefully designed in a traditional Mexican way. Clean, great staff and very comfortable beds!

The rooms are very clean, spacious, and the bed is very comfortable! Lots of hot water and the air conditioner worked great. The staff is very friendly and helpful! It was a home away from home feel. Very close to the main beach that is perfect for kids to swim and you will never run out of places to eat there are so many for all price ranges. Amazing location right in the middle of all the action. A little on the high side for the price point as it doesn’t include breakfast. Overall, we would go back!

Hotel Vogue was absolutely wonderful! We were in Sayulita for a wedding and the location was perfect. Just a few blocks from the beach, and right in the heart of Sayulita Plaza made it very easy to get around. The service at the front desk was incredible. Highly recommend.

Hotel Vogue is a gem located right in the heart of Sayulita. And we were greeted with the offer of a cold cerveza! Much appreciated! The unit was very authentic, clean and well equipped with shampoo, conditioner, handsoap, fridge, coffee maker, AC, comfy bed and nice sheets. The pool area is peaceful & private, although we never spent any time there. Your first step out of the hotel puts you right on the main square with so many dining and drink options. A 2 minute walk to the beach. And the hotel provides beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards if you like. The staff and owner were incredible, giving suggestions for dining, directions to a bank etc. We also rented a golf cart for an afternoon. Fun! For all 3 nights we visited a great bar with live music minutes from the hotel. A great little town!

Absolutely gorgeous! I would buy if it ever became a condo. Spotless clean, fantastic staff, and location. Only drawback is all night music until 4 am a few nights a week. Not from Hotel Vogue, but bars in greater vicinity. It is manageable however. I just loved the vibe of the whole area, especially our daily visits from the owner’s dog. He would come in and visit twice a day on his own to be loved.

Hotel Vogue is one of the most wonderful places in which I have stayed … Ever! After having left a disgusting, unstaffed and nonfunctional hotel a few blocks away, the owners and team at Hotel Vogue welcomed us with open arms! The owner escorted us to our individual bungalows, and I could NOT have been more pleased and relieved! These spaces are fully adorned with a “front porch” seating area (I’m from the Southern US, and we love our front porches) appliances, condiments, glassware, silverware, plush textured towels, perfect pillows and bedding, and the list goes on! The atmosphere is remarkable; lush foliage everywhere, with some of the most beautiful orchids I’ve ever seen. The pool area is breathtaking, with a wall-sized water feature AND handicapped accessibility! They have multiple seating areas for groups to visit, with the cabana near the pool being expertly furnished with chairs and tables, and numerous lounge chairs poolside. Hotel Vogue is directly across the narrow, cobblestoned street from the Sayulita festival plaza, with 100 restaurants in walking distance. I live in Puerto Vallarta, and I’ve visited Sayulita many times. Most visits have been day trips, so this was a WONDERFUL stroke of great luck for me to actually stay overnight in this magical garden!! And again, the owners were so accommodating, assisting me with my immediate needs of shelter, peace and calm! I count Miss Mary as my newest friend, and I will visit Hotel Vogue as often as possi

This little gem of a place was a wonderful experience. The owner was a warm hearted person that chatted about the most interesting history and the great surroundings. The rooms were clean and the landscaping was perfect. I felt like we were staying in a jungle oasis - but the moment I would walk out the front door I was in the center of all the action. Outside is loud and fun, but the moment you walk back into the property, the sound disappears. The only sounds passing into my living room area were the chirping of birds. I slept great!

I had seen this property a few years ago and vowed that some day I would get back there and stay in those beautiful bungalows. This was the trip, and it was everything I had hoped for. Every detail inside and outside was immaculate, beautiful, and artfully designed. A true paradise. Owners Marvin and Mary are very gracíous and their dog piñata is a love. Hotel was great for proximity to all things in the centre of Sayulita. Given the Sayulita nightlife there is some noise but it was worth it for the proximity to the beach and restaurants.
The staff (and spiny at a the dog) were all welcoming and accommodating. The hotel provides beach chairs and umbrellas making a day at the beach that much more enjoyable.
The rooms have lovely art and local details.
The pool was great when we needed a break from the sand.
If you’re looking for a local style hotel we’d recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay in Sayulita and staying at hotel Vogue was great. Cute, quiet, nicely decorated. The water dispenser machine was so helpful to have clean water to drink especially since it was so hot in July. Owner was very helpful with directions, suggestions, etc. Bed was comfortable. Loved their little dog, Pinata! Would recommend staying there and would stay there again. Close to restaurants, ocean.

So Charming

The hotel was very charming. Beautiful landscaping and wonderful colors. We definitely felt comfortable and safe. Location was super convenient, though the plaza nearby often hosted loud music events throughout the day which sometimes made it difficult to sleep, or have some quiet time, or even take a taxi out. There were extra amenities available thru the front desk such as beach towels and hair blow dryer. From our room, we had a patio and sitting room area with a view of the hotel courtyard as well as the property next door which wasn't well kept, but that's not the hotel's fault. There was no TV in the room, but the bedroom had an air conditioning unit. The sitting room was surrounded by glass windows and doors that allowed the light and air to flow in when open. Everything was nice and clean.

great location being 1 block from the beach, central to many restaurants. Very nice and private pool area. While the shower head was of good quality it needed cleaning or replacing for about 1/3 of the spray was actually coming out. Also it would be nice to have good quality individual hair and body products vs wall mounted container of 3 products.
Overall very nice place for the value.

We stayed at Vogue 4 nights, it was the perfect oasis to the busy little town. Once you step through the gates its so calm and peaceful. The location is perfect, right across from the plaza and just a few minutes walk to the beach. The staff were awesome and friendly, and we loved having Pinata, the resident dog around. We enjoyed the pool, the great little patio on our bungelow, and the room was extremely clean and inviting. We were provided beach chairs, umbrella, and beach towels for taking to the beach, they also had boogie boards. We felt very comfortable staying there and will definitely stay there again.

Our stay at Hotel Vogue was amazing. The location was perfect - right at the center of Sayulita. At the same time when you’re inside the hotel, it felt like a private retreat. Everything was very clean and beautifully decorated. I can’t say enough about the staff. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, they were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. We happened to get a parking ticket while we were there and the staff offered to go and take care of it while we went out to lunch! We highly recommend Hotel vogue and can’t wait to go back!!

This was truly wonderful vacations and Hotel Vogue was a major part of it. If you are looking for a cookie cutter room in a major hotel chain then this is not for you. The rooms are individually designed with flair and Mexican heritage on mind. They are clean, comfortable and well kept. All rooms are facing tropical garden path leading to quiet pool area. The staff is friendly and helpful, really trying to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable. We seldom give hotel reviews but this one is well deserved.

Our experience at Hotel Vogue was fabulous! Walking into the courtyard you can't help but express a sigh of gratitude. The grounds are stunning and serene. Our room was extremely comfortable, clean, and beautiful. Hotel staff is attentive and kind. The wonderful owners, Mary and Marvin, are extremely personable and happy to answer whatever questions may arise. Location is perfect!!! In the heart of Sayulita's square next to all of the delicious restaurants and shops, a mere block from the beach. I am looking forward to our next stay at Hotel Vogue in wonderful Sayulita!

The grounds are beautiful. The staff was so helpful, accommodating and nice. The hotel is at a perfect location, one block away from beach and near everything, the plaza, bars,mini convenient stores, and restaurants. The staff even provides one with beach towels, chairs, and umbrella for you to take down to the beach. The decor is really cute each suite has its own Loteria card assigned. You really feel like u experience Sayulita in this hotel.

Oasis right at the center of town.

First time in sayulita. The location could not get any better. Right at the town center when you step outside. There is a gate that is locked at night for privacy. all the restaurants and shops are right outside however I couldn’t hear the town inside our room. It’s 2 blocks to the beach which can be seen from the entrance. One block up the road is the “iguana tree”. The room had chilled and filtered water dispensary. There was a kitchenette with toaster, microwave, fridge cutlery, bowls, etc... beautiful sitting area separate from the bedroom which has air conditioning with views of the tropical courtyard garden. All the rooms had ceiling fans. The bed was so comfortable! The staff and owners were so nice and the rooms were kept very clean. Another perk is the free use of beach chairs, towels, boogie boards and beach umbrellas.

Great location right in the town square and only one block from the beach. Loved the traditional Mexican decor with many interesting and artistic details. Swimming pool is under construction, but that will be a bonus when completed. Very little noise penetrated to our room. Would love to return some day. A little pricey, but you're paying for the fantastic location.

We were very excited to stay at hotel vogue based on the video and photos of the place. We were a little surprised and disappointed when we arrived and were given a very small, dark room (apparently the only room that accommodates 2 people-- the others are reserved for parties of 3-4). After we inquired about a room chAnge and found out we would have to pay extra and switch rooms frequently, we decided to embrace the little room. We realized the room is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and has almost everything we needed (with the exception of an outlet in the bathroom). The hotel staff was very kind and they provided beach chairs and umbrellas during our stay. We will return to hotel vogue next time we stay in sayulita, but will make sure to request an upstairs room with sunlight! (Plus the pool will be finished in the next year!) overall wonderful time.

Misrepresents hotel room. Extremely rude owner.

My husband and I attempted to stay at this hotel. We were excited for the garden courtyard view and separate kitchenette room. Unfortunately, the room was misrepresented and the hotel room we had booked with a courtyard view, had no view or windows except for a stained glass window you could not see out of. It was very claustrophobic and I was so uncomfortable I was not able to stay in the room. Plus the \"separate kitchenette\" was just a shelf in the wall in the same room as the bed with kitchen appliances. Very unhappy.

Loved the outside sitting area provided for all of the suites. The rooms were very cozy and well decorated. Bed is very comfortable and the provided bed in the living area was also fantastic. Location is right next to the plaza so a short walk to the beaches, food and all of what Sayulita has to offer. Would highly recommend and would likely stay again.

A nice play to stay.

This is a small hole with an inner court and cozy rooms. It is not luxurious, but it is nice and our room had a small kitchen, living area, a king sized bed which was good (not great), a nice bathroom and shower. It is right in the village, a block from the ocean, and lots of good food all around. It is easy to walk to anything in the village. Lots of fun! We would go back.

Charming suite hotel in the center of it all

The Hotel Vogue is an oasis right in the middle of busy, noisy, dusty Sayulita, Mexico. The hotel is right off of the central square, but once you step inside the courtyard you're away from it all. This is a small suite hotel which is imaginatively and beautifully designed and decorated. Our suite offered two bedrooms, 1-1/2 baths, and, most intriguingly for those of us Americans visiting in February, a compact living/kitchen/bar area that was open-air, covered with a thatched palapa roof.

The staff is accommodating and Mary, who owns the hotel with her husband, is an extremely welcoming and gracious host. As far as daily service is concerned, in all my years of traveling for both business and pleasure, I don't think I've ever experienced such thorough daily housekeeping service. The maid spent at least an hour every day scrubbing, dusting, and making sure everything was in perfect shape.

Note that the kitchenette features a small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and blender. A large water cooler provides purified drinking water (water in most of Mexico is non potable). There are air conditioning units in each of the bedrooms, but obviously no A/C in the open-air living area. However, there are many ceiling fans throughout the suite to circulate air.

I would highly recommend the Hotel Vogue to anyone planning to visit the funky surfing mecca and fishing village of Sayulita.

The Hotel Vogue is a beautiful hotel very close to the beach. The owners, Mary and Marvin, were there to greet my husband and me and were most accommodating. The suites were lovely with personal verandas and the staff was friendly and helpful. Only problem was we were there when a group of young women came to stay and they were very noisy throughout the entire night which made sleeping difficult. The owners were very apologetic and hopefully reminded the girls that they needed to stop the loud talk and carrying on after a reasonable hour. We headed off to Puerto Vallarta, so don't know how the next night went. All in all, I would stay there again if we were to return to Sayulita.

This is such a cute place. The rooms are laid out so it's almost like having your own little place in a beautiful jungle setting. The weather is so perfect here you always have the windows open and the only negative was the cats that roamed around in the evening would fight and meow at all hours. That woke us up a few times. I would still recommend this lovely place and definitely would stay here again.

We stayed at the Hotel Vogue in Sayulita. The location of the hotel is ideal and is centrally located in the town. It is close to all the shops, dining, beach, etc. The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. When we checked out we got to chat with the owner who was very nice. He kept our luggage for us as we were not leaving for several hours so we were able to walk around town without worrying about carrying our luggage. I highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Sayulita.

Our experience with Hotel Vogue

My sister and I just spent 4 nights with hotel Vogue. It was our 2nd time to Sayulita and our 2nd time staying at this hotel. I had pre purchased our hotel stay over the Internet.

When we arrived, we were given a very small room with no windows, closet space or a soap dish. I was shocked since we were in such a beautiful spacious room the first time we came snd because of the US dollar exchange, this year, we were laying nearly double at $180 a night. I was very upset, especially since we were there tp celebrate my birthday. I explained everything to Sandra, the day manager. She told me they could put us in another room but it would be another $60 US a night. I said I was very unhappy and that we had stayed there 2 years ago and had a much nicer room for a lot less money.

Then Mary, one of the owners, csme to see us and I again explained the situation. We were upgraded to the nicer room. The owners snd staff at this hotel are wonderful and very accommodating.

The hotel is located two short blocks to the beach and every room has a fully equipped kitchenette. You are given a beach towell, reclining chair and boogie board (if you wish).

A tropical oasis in the heart of Sayulita!

The hotel is right in the heart of Sayulita, steps from the beach. The location is perfect and the beach is a one minute walk away. The gardens offer a quiet oasis while still being central to the plaza and all the restaurants and amenities one could want in Sayulita.

The rooms are very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They have beach chairs, nice plush beach towels, and boogie boards that you can borrow. Filtered water in the room saves money and the environment. There is a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and a blender so you can make your own smoothies.

I would highly recommend Hotel Vogue and will be staying there again!!

WIFI alert; photos don't say a 1000 words

We were expecting a special rate bungalow; however, what was offered was totally unexpected. Much much smaller than described. Switching to alternatives was costly. We needed WIFI but for all 3 days it was not available. No TV, radio or sound system so without wifi no communication and no entertainment in suite. Given the low season, we found many alternatives at lower price and better amenities.

I was greeted by the owner upon check in and he answered all my questions and concerns. The hotel grounds fet like I was in a jungle with so many plants , flowers. The hotel is in the center of a small surfing town and so close to many other cites. This hotel and town are the best kept secret in Mexico and we will be booking again!
