This place was wonderful. The rooms were clean. Daily they changed out the towels and emptied the trash. The room was spacious and the kitchen had needed items for preparing meals. I liked the electric room darkening shutters on the windows made to excellent sleeping. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location away from inner city noise.,

The room was spotless clean, everything from washing machine, to aircon, tv with netflix, fully equipped kitchenette and clean white bedding. The towels and bedding were changed daily and the cleaners came to clean floors, bathrooms and bedrooms everyday. Not so close to the city, meant chilling on the balcony at night was not too noisy.
Getting around rome from Altea suites was easy too, even with a family of 5. The bus stop is right outside the hotel and takes you directly to the Laurentina train station where you can go to all the main train stations in Rome.
There is also an abundance of local restaurants near the hotel that we walked to, theres a carrefour right around the corner as well as cafes and then the bus to the beach is a stones throw away.
We loved our stay and did so much in the week. It was lovely after a long day of walking around Rome, to come home to a clean hotel suite and have a shower, jump into the clean white sheets and watch some tv.

It was an absolutely beautiful building, a very unexpected surprise. The room was beautiful and huge. staff were lovely and helpful. Walking distance to everywhere. The only downfall was communication regarding how to get there from the train….take the #1 bus! Otherwise a truly great experience

We enjoyed our stay here, there is a grocery store as well as a few eating spots within walking distance. The property was well maintained, and the staff was very welcoming. Parking was readily available. My biggest gripe were the beds, unfortunately they were very hard which made sleeping a bit difficult. Breakfast was limited but tasted great.

We used it for 1 night stay before our flight back. The 1 bedroom apartement was very convenient for a family of 4 having good size and full kitchen. There is a big supermarket 1 minute drive and some restaurants nearby. Parking is free and easy. The front desk girl was very helpfull and attentive. It took us 40 minutes to the airport in the morning. Overall we found it as a very good option for short stay before flying from Rome Fiumicino Airport.

The place looks very nice. The apartment was spacious, especially the living room and the balcony. The working desk is in the bedroom. Only after entering the apartment, it was that I noticed that the usage of the kitchenette costs 30 EUR per week, something I haven't noticed or experienced before. And since I was there for just one night, it made no sense to arrange all the utensils, etc., as it is completely empty as it is. The bed was comfortable, but the mosquitos were very annoying.

Spent a week here as our home base for excursions into Rome and as far north as Florence and as far south as Pompeii. Pomezia isn't a glitzy and glamorous town, but my preference is to set up just outside of major metro areas (like Rome), as this gives a little breathing room. If that's your goal, too, Altea Suites is pitch perfect. Nice and comfortable rooms, great staff (especially Marco!) and we felt safe and secure the entire time.

Lovely hotel. Populated by business guests and families looking for a good alternative to staying in the city. Reception staff excellent. Housekeeping great, as were breakfast hostesses. Immediate surroundings a little noisy, but that's the trade off you make for escaping Rome (and having free, spacious, parking!). Property is set back about 70 m from the main road.

Great Family Stay at Altea Suites

Marco and Eleanor (hope I spelt this correctly) were exceptional in their reception. They made us really welcome and assisted with a smile throughout our stay. Marco came out within minutes late in the night when we rang the emergency numbers given that we had locked our access card in our room.
Overall stay was excellent.

This hotel has lots of space for a family and is new. There is a good breakfast. It is about a 20 minute drive to the train station and 20 minute ride on the train to Roma Termini. Beds are very hard!!

I was here for work and I must say I felt like home. The apartement was just great. Very clean tidy and well kept by the lady who used to clean it for me everyday. Had everything at hand here like supermarket, pizzeria, restaurant, bank, pharmacy,private parking, etc. Its only a 20 minute drive from Rome. I really recommend this Residence.

We found the accommodations perfect for us. One half hour to Rome, 15 minutes to the sea, great restaurant nearby, everything we needed. Our apartment was grand, the comfort so good. Cannot say enough about this place. We had a rental car, so this was the perfect base of travel.

Perfect family stay over for Zoomarine

This hotel was absolutely fantastic for our family. Our suite had two bedrooms, a fold out couch in the living area, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen - much bigger than we were expecting. The cleanliness was great. The house staff even cleaned up our toiletries and put our toothbrushes in a cup. And our kids - and us - loved the breakfast. I am gluten free and there were plenty of options for me. The only complaint would be that the beds were much firmer than we prefer. But we were very impressed by everything else, including the price.

High class hotel (as long as you have a car)

Excellent hotel for our recent trip to Rome.
Hotel was immaculately clean and the breakfast buffet plentiful.
There isn't a massive amount in the surrounding Pomezia area but if it you are looking for a clean and comfortable base from which to visit Rome then Altea Suites are ideal.
The rooms are a very good size, the kitchenette fully equipped and the Sky TV was able to display in both Italian and English language.
Public transport in the immediate area is patchy so it is almost essential you have a car available.
As long as you understand the logistics and geography of the area then Altea Suites is highly recommended for your stay.

Big rooms with kitchen but bad location

I was looking for a good rated value hotel. This hotel is good value due to room size and kitchen in the rooms but the big minus due to its location - far from airports and also far from the centre. I would rather spend some more money and get a better location. It is also in a industrial area so I guess the hotell is mostly used for business.

Amazing hotel!!

This place far exceeded my expectations! Very family friendly, VERY clean, VERY helpful staff. The staff went above and beyond to help my family out. I wouldn't even call it a hotel, more like a town house! Very comfortable. I felt like we were at home! Delicious breakfast. Sky tv ( yay for English speaking shows!)

The only downside-- the location. Although its very close to Rome, the neighborhood is very sketchy. I felt like we were in the ghetto! Very nervous driving up, but had a sigh of relief once we pulled in!!

I would most definitely return!

A blissful stay!

We wanted a hotel outside Rome to give us easy access to the GRA and the AI Autostrada to Tuscany. This Hotel suited us perfectly. It was very clean, the service was excellent and the breakfast very adequate. Check in went very smoothly. A great hotel outside of Rome

We were looking for a hotel outside of Rome. We had a car to drive to the train station to get into Rome. For this purpose, this hotel was great. An apartment style room that accommodated four very well, a huge patio, which we didn't use and a great breakfast. We really appreciated the printer access in the lobby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Should we ever travel to Rome again, we would consider this hotel again.

Really good apartment hotel with bad location

The apartment was lovely, warm, modern and really spacious. The staff was really helpful. The only problem is the location. It is situated a bit too far from everything and travelling to the centre of Rome is really not easy. It is recommended that you hire a car before coming here. We stayed here during a snow fall and found no open restaurants within 1h walking distance for three days. The McDonalds was open, but we did not come to Italy for junk food. Luckily there is a large supermarket very close to the hotel.

The hotel may not be the best in comfort since the room and bathroom are small and shows some age, but the location is EXCELLENT (walking distance to most main tourist sights), the service is superb (easily beating 4-star hotel), and we've still slept well and had a nice and comfortable stay. There is free wi-fi in the lobby but the signal is weak in the room (unless you are in room #8, the closest room to the lobby).

Just returned from a fabulous weekend stay with another couple both of which really enjoyed the apartment accomodating the 4 of us very adquately, great breakfast, great great friendly staff helpful in every way, they even went out an purchased an power converter to connect from 210 to our Canadian 110 appliances, hair dryer, computer etc. which was very helpful, had a lot of laughs with the front desk staff and loads of information if needed, the only negative I have is the hotel's location to Rome which if your planning to visit Rome it would best be done with a rental car at least to get you to the rail connects etc. it was a great choice for us as we were connecting to a cruise out of Rome and we had been to Rome before but not in accomodations like this.. Highly recommended.

A litttle far from the city but a comfortable stay

very comfortable rooms with a kitchenette and delicious breakfast. It is a little far from the Metro network so the dependency on the city bus to reach the outskirts of Rome was a little inconvenient but the stay was worth the trouble. Their internet connection was a little problematic, but otherwise, we loved staying in this hotel.

Very nice accommodation at a great price. It was nice to stay in an apartment for a few days after travelling for almost a month. The lounge room and kitchen were a welcome space to stretch out. The staff are very friendly but the Wi-Fi was very hit and miss, it continually timed out - very frustrating and the only accommodation that we have had this problem with. Pillows were very hard, like was like sleeping on a hard wooden board, but this has been a hit miss problem all over Europe so we went out and bought our own. Well worth the Euros.

Altea Suites Hotel - great for families

I really enjoyed staying in the family room which easily held myself, my spouse & 3 kids. 7 people could easily stay in this multi-level suite. While the hotel is a good 30-45 minutes from downtown Rome and all of the attractions, it was worth the drive. Excellent service, breakfast included. I hope to stay there again sometime on my next trip to Rome!

Perfect for large families going to Zoomarine

We were very pleasantly surprised with this hotel/apartment. The pictures on the web site don't really do justice. The apartment looks completely new, and has a very nice quality feel to it. Our apartment offered two separate bedrooms so that our kids could be in their own room. We had a split-level suite on the top floor with a living/dining/kitchen area downstairs, and two bedrooms upstairs with a large landing, so we really had all the comforts of home. The free breakfast was great, we didn't need anything else, and the fact that we could load up a tray and feed the kids in the apartment's dining area made things really easy. There are a few good family restaurants only about 5 mins away by car (towards zoomarine), and there is a moderately upscale outlet mall approximately ten minutes away (Castel Romano).

At first glance the town does not look very appealing but the look is deceiving. It is in an industrial zone and many things reflect this on Via Roma which is the main street. This street is indicative of an American industrial street where you would have auto repair shops and transmission shops and many auto dealerships. However behind the hotel is the area that leads to the downtown district which is very quiet, safe, clean, and friendly. The hotel rooms are huge and the staff is accomodating 24 hours a day. They even bought a cappuccino up to us at 3am. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for lots of room. The bus ride to Rome in the morning is about 2O minutes to the Laurentino station and from there you catch the train or the metro as they call it here to Termini station which is the central station inside of Rome central. Expect to pay about 60-65 euro or about 100 US Dollars if you catch a taxi to the hotel. Or you can catch the bus to Rome Termini station for about 2 euros, and catch the train to Laurentino station and then switch to the bus for 2 euro all inclusive. The best way to travel is to buy a 3 day pass at the train station and this will allow you to jump off anywhere you like and get back on. Food is expensive so if you are traveling around it is a highly recommended idea that you fix sandwiches and drinks to take with you. The cost of a meal in rome e.g. lunch is about 20 euros or 27 american dollars.

Camera stupenda, mini appartamento con ogni comfort. Balcone grandissimo che gira intorno alla camera, silenziosa. Ho apprezzato molto le tapparelle elettroniche che rendono la camera totalmente buia. Il giorno è molto luminosa con finestre in ogni camera anche in bagno. Reception molto gentile. Peccato esserci stata una sola notte di passaggio ma ci tornerò sicuramente. La pulizia era impeccabile.

Personale alla reception molto cortese e disponibile, struttura pulita, ampia e con tutto quello che può servire a una famiglia (forno.micronde, cucina, lavatrice, lavastoviglie e molto altro). Il frigorifero di notte è un po' rumoroso ma per il resto tutto impeccabile

Camera pulita e confortevole, molto silenziosa e tranquilla.
Arredamenti un po datati, e per l’acqua calda in doccia ho dovuto aspettare diversi minuti.
Comunque per il prezzo piu che positivo
