If you can afford . It s better to get lake vore room in the front -- it's additional $50 USD but you get the lake view.. if you stay in the back you only see the old ugly trees and cement wall

From our room the Mount Fuji view was spectacular and we have great photos. Although the next two day were filled with heavy rain, I felt sorry for the other tourists; who could not enjoy the Mount Fuji view. But we had a wonderful time and much thanks to the friendly staff. Aloha.

The stay in this hotel was pleasant. Breakfast was great, fresh and various options.
Onsen bath on the 6th floor was clean and facing the lake and part of Mt Fuji and at night beautiful!
Location is good, city buses are just at the door step. Note…lots of restaurants in the area closes 8pm.

The only thing “bad” is the lack of communication and signage in English, letting the guest know that shuttles to Kawaguchiko station are available if booked the day before upto 9pm.

Otherwise, great stay overall. Bang for your buck!

Nice location! The hotel is at Lake Kawaguchi-ko, and you can see Mt. Fuji from the hotel (If the weather and Sky are clear). The room is clean with all equipment, also the onsen with an Mt.Fuji view. We will go back again.

The hotel is old but overall it is clean. It is more expensive compare to the other Route inn hotel that I stayed. Also my room was facing the back so no view at all. The main purpose of the visit is to see Mount Fuji. I only spent one day in the area. If I knew the situation before; I would book the hotel outside the area and simply made a day trip to Mount Fuji. It does not worth to pay the extra money to stay overnight. In addition, the breakfast buffet is only average. The staff is friendly but not very straight; my wife asked if we can fill up my thermal with hot water but was being turned down.

Nice Stay, but Staff Need Training

A nice large hotel located on Lake Kawaguchi. The rooms seem rather new or remodeled recently. The spa and breakfast buffet were nice. The only problem was when I checked in I told the staff that I lived in Japan, but they wanted to copy my ID card anyway, which is not the law. If they don't keep such information for Japanese they have no right to keep it for foreigners. Also they should have offered to keep my bag for me at the front as it was 2 pm and I wasn't intending to wait in the lobby until they would give me the key to my room.

Nice hotel to stay in and the staffs are friendly and efficient. Free pickup and drop off from Kawaguchiko Station with certain timing. We have a wonderful view of the lake and part of Mt Fuji from our window.

Our room had the view of the Lake Kawaguchiko and Mt Fuji. It was so beautiful. The room was spacious, nice and clean. Provided complete toiletries. Given keys for private onsen for me and my husband. Breakfast was excellent. The Shuttle van took us to the Kawaguchiko Station at our convenient time. Staffs were friendly and honest by recommended us for the dinner at Konami. It was the best valued hotel for what you paid and what you got.

The staffs didn't speak English very well but they tried hard to help you. The hotel offers one way transfer from the station to the hotel and return transfer from the hotel to the station on the next day but you have to book one day earlier. If you are taking public transport, it is number 13 bus stop of the red line, very close.

The front office girl at reception when I checked in was nice and helpful. The hotel reception staff is fine overall. However, I had a bad experience with the restaurant staff. I was 15 mins late for the breakfast (was not aware the breakfast timing as no mention anywhere in English) and there was someone eating there and the restaurant was open. I was taking some vegetarian stuff (whatever little was there) to eat but suddenly the waitress came and started saying it was closed and she took the tray away from me and I had to leave. There was buffet food still there and was uncleared and a guest eating as well. Therefore, I thought this was very rude and I was just asking for 5 or 10 mins.

Good location, right in front of the lake. View of Mt Fuji slightly blocked by another small hill but you can walk down further to see a clearer and unblocked view. There is an onsen on top of the hotel, overseeing the Mt Fuji. The buffet breakfast provided was OK.

The views are breathtaken of the lake and Mount Fuji. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The hotel has a free shuttle to and from the train station in the morning and late afternoon. The breakfast and dinner buffets are good, mainly Japanese food. The furnishings are older and a bit outdated but are kept clean. The common ares and room are clean as well. The onsen (Japanese bath) is nice with beautiful views of the lake and mountains.

Booked same afternoon as check-in as the journey time from Osaka (for day trip) to Lake Kawaguchiko took longer than expected and needed to rest. The hotel was fine for the price and staff friendly. The fixtures and deco did seem outdated and breakfast was rather restricted for Western tastes. I was grateful they had space though last minute and the view in the morning across the lake is amazing.

It was spring and view from our window was amazing. If you are lucky to have clear sky, you can see clearly mount fuji. Cherry blossom was also very beautiful.

You can reach the hotel using taxi for around JPY 1,000. It was around 10 mins drive from Kawaguchiko Station. Alternately, you can call the hotel and ask them to pick you from the station for free.

It seems the rooms haven't been updated since 1970. The proof of that came when I was handed a key with a 6-inch plastic bar attached. The rest of the accommodation are also in the same level - old style orange-lighted room with tapestries to match. However, for the price , nearby scenery and for the opportunity to bring out your inner expert photographer to capture Mt. Fuji in a clear day- you can't beat it.
Very friendly stuff, good breakfast (hmm rice and grilled fish with vegetable), good transportation and near dozens of tourist attractions and activities. You should try this place.

It was a good stay for an overnight hotel while visiting Fujiten. It's not a top of the line hotel but the staff was very nice, spoke English, and was very helpful. We had a twin room with 2 kids. Of course we are use to larger beds but the size was definitely much bigger than the beds in Tokyo. The food was average and we were disappointed that the crab leg buffet was served cold. However, cold seafood is a japanese culture I gather so I guess we shouldn't have been disappointed. After all, this is Japan

I made a request through Expedia to be picked up from Kawaguchiko Station, but I still had to call once we arrived, and then had to have the tourist office call to speak to the front desk in Japanese to request the pick-up. They were nice enough about it, but it defeats the purpose of me pre-arranging it. Check in was easy and fast, and our room was large enough, with a great view of the Fuj and the lake. The bed, however, was the worst thing I have ever slept on. It was not only hard, but it also rocked around from side to side. Kind of like a wooden waterbed. I have lived in Asia for the past 10 years, and hard mattresses are standard here, but this one was the worst. The air conditioner had a loud squeal, but better that than listening to other guests banging around. The onsen on the 6th floor was nice, and breakfast was tasty (half Western/half Japanese options). All night we listened to some outrageously noisy motorbikes terrorizing the neighborhood. We didn't sleep. It's a shame because it wasn't a bad hotel, just uncomfortable in a few regards.

Très bon rapport qualité-prix. Le personnel a été vraiment accueillant, même à notre arrivée tardive. Le parking le plus proche était complet, on nous a dirigé vers un parking éloigné. Le réveil avec la vue sur le Mont Fuji était magique ! Le petit-déjeuner buffet, varié et très bon, permettait de se resservir à volonté — parfait pour bien démarrer la journée.

禁煙室だったら最高だった！

出張で利用しました。チェックインもスムーズですし、大浴場から望む河口湖はとても綺麗でした。フロントの対応も丁寧ですし、朝食も美味しかったです。ただ、普段タバコをあまり吸わないのですが、他に空いているホテルがなく、喫煙室を選択しました。どうしても部屋についているタバコの匂いが気になってしまいました。

登山の帰りに宿泊した。河口湖畔に位置していてジョギングや釣りなどにも便利。温泉浴場は2:00まで、朝は5:00からなので出発前にも入れる。観光地で1人で泊まれるホテルはありがたく食事も含めてコスパは悪くなかった。河口湖駅への送迎バスも充実している。また路線バス駅のそばで便利だった。

CP值很高的旅館

1.交通方便，坐紅線到第11站下車就到(要按鈴才會停)。飯店門口的風景已有可觀，再往第12站的方向走，風景更美。
2.住的是山景房，窗外亦景色宜人。室內整潔，該有的備品都有。
3.隔壁開了一家日式料理，餐點物美價廉，不必遠求。
4.飯店設有販賣部販售當地紀念品，完全相同的東西卻比外面的商店便宜1成以上，可在飯店採購。

Great that the hotel has shuttle to pick up / send you back to the station. The dinner and breakfast are great. But the soundproof is not enough seems as sometimes can hear others from the room.

整體嚟間河口湖酒店係不錯的，交通方便，有泊車位，對住河口湖，富士山就比左邊的小山遮住左一部份山腰。

飲食：早餐是可以的，每日都有少少不一樣。酒店內有小商店，貨品直接免稅價（可即用），抵！不用硬消費5000 或5500 円，仲要封死帶出境用。

駐車場が少し遠く感じるのと、
私が宿泊した日は駐車スペースが足りていない様でした。
私は障害者なので、個人的にはホテル前を全て障害者スペースにしてほしいです。
ネットを見れば分かりますが夕飯(バイキング)について金額などの詳しい情報が見つける事が出来ませんでした。
