Spa was good, pool facilities good. Dinner time food ok but seemed slightly under staffed and long queues would form in certain places. Same with breakfast although not as bad.

The hotel pools are amazing, clean and with plenty of sun beds. My only comments would be that the kids food options need improving. The bolgnaise sauce was watery with hardly any meat and the lasagne was not fresh but the frozen type. Maybe some mashed potatoes, chicken fingers, homemade lasagne and Mac and Cheese would be great to have. Also the room shower has no raised platform so when you shower even with little water pressure the water will leak out making a huge mess. That is not ideal when you have small kids which is a shame when the bathroom is big enough to fit a bathtub.

This is our 4th time staying at this hotel, and we absolutely love coming back! The cleanliness is always top-notch, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful—truly excellent customer service. The breakfast and dinner buffets offer a wide variety of delicious options, and vegetarians will have no trouble finding something satisfying.
The location is great if you have a car—just 10 to 25 minutes to Chipiona, Rota, Jerez de la Frontera, and Cádiz. It’s also about a 1 hour and 45 minute drive to Seville, which makes for a nice day trip.
The beds are incredibly comfortable (some of the best we've ever slept in!), and overall, the hotel continues to exceed our expectations. We can't wait to return again!

This hotel is AMAZING! We have been here 3 times already and we love it! It is so clean and family-friendly, the food is amazing, etc. We loved that spa, service, and accessibility to the beach. There is nothing that we can name that we did not like.

If you like lots and lots of screaming kids crying everywhere, this is the hotel for you. There is no peace. The room and the place is nice but the amount of people and quality of those people is very hard to bear. Awful music blasting at the pool. I was not happy here.

Mooie, ruime en schone hotelkamer. Prachtig kinderspeelbad met diverse glijbaantjes. Direct aan een mooi strand. Enige minpunt is dat het hotel binnenkort dicht ging, waardoor bijv. de helft van het zwembad al afgesloten was. Jammer, want je betaalt wel de volle pond. Maar dat is natuurlijk afhankelijk van de datum dat je afreist naar dit hotel. Verder eveneens een prima buffet (gevarieerd, dagelijks anders kost).

Horrible service and kids running with no control
Rude service at the dining room. Kids running around with no control and no masks. Coffee, horrible ever taste. We paid for breakfast but we ended up having breakfast everyday in a little town close by. I complained, talked to the sub-director, but not action taken whatsoever. Just a friendly email to follow the protocol. Honestly, very disappointed! Will never come back and not recommended.

New hotel, clean and modern. Nice choice of food for breakfast and evening meal. Drinks reasonable prices. No kettle in room, asked about it and got told we have to pre book. Also we visited in late October which means the pools was too cold to use. They do have an indoor pool however they said kids was ok aloud in durning the morning for 2 hour. The price for this was €14 an adult and €10 a child. So would have cost us €38 for an hours swim as it’s in the hotels “spa” area. They should consider a reduced entry cost durning the colder seasons! Not much to do in the surrounding areas, we had a walk around the large lake area to see the ducks and took a drive to Jerez and chipiona. Nice beach on your door step. Feel the dining room would be manic in high season due to its size and the amount of rooms they have. We live a few hours away near Gibraltar and will maybe return again for a couple of nights when it’s a little warmer.

Really enjoyed this resort!! It is quite big, but all things ran smoothly. Pools are very nice and the beac, which is a short stroll away is very nice. The food was good considering the a size of the resort, but a little more variety and veg wouldn’t go amiss. Most residents are Spanish, which was fine by us, but if you want to meet people, best to be able to speak Spanish.

Somewhat of a last minute family break. Reviews looked good so decided to give it a go. The hotel was modern, clean and spacious. Although very busy due to space it never felt too crowded. Room was clean, spacious and we had room on ground floor with pool straight outside which was a very nice surprise/addition we weren’t expecting. The food & drink was of a good standard. Restaurant offered a very wide range of different food on the buffet. The only negative was the restaurant staff were super busy so at times cleaninless of eating areas and table setup & service was not to required standard. Some of the staff were a little rude at times also when you approached or asked them for something. I get they were busy but as a paying customer that’s not my problem. The hotel is also very close to the beach. The beach is superb! Overall a very good hotel which I’d recommend. One on our list to visit again when less busy.

Great all inclusive hotel for family and friends
Brand new hotel (opened in 2018) with a good location by the beach of Costa Ballena. Many activities for children's (aquapark, kids club, shows) and adults (large pool, gym, infinity pool, bars). Easy access to the beach. Easy and free parking in front of the hotel or 7 Euros per day in door parking. I definitely recommend to book all inclusive and a premium room. The all inclusive package is worth it and the premium room put you in best buildings (2 & 3) and gave you access to the infinity pool on the rooftop.
The food at the buffet is good compared to other all inclusive hotels and changes every day.
My only criticism during my stay at the hotel is the fact there is only 1 restaurant for 1,500 people (when full), the towel service requesting a deposit and you can change towels only during a very short timing so long wait (with a very rude lady at the Spa that gave the towels), not enough umbrellas by the pool.
The food at the buffet is good compared to other all inclusive hotels and changes every day.

We had an amazing time at Hotel Best Costa Ballena! The food was excellent – varied, fresh, and always delicious. The entire hotel is spotlessly clean and very well maintained; you can tell that cleanliness and comfort are top priorities here.

Alles in Allem ein gelungener Urlaub. Das Hotel ist groß und -teilweise- modern. Der Speisesaal ist leider super laut und unbequem. Wir haben eine Getränkeflat gebucht, aber das Personal ist beim Abendessen so überlastet, dass man kaum dazu kommt, ein Getränk zu bestellen. Die Auswahl ist gut, es gibt ein paar nicht ausgeschilderte, vegane Sachen. Der Pool ist groß, es gibt einen eigenen Kinder Pool Bereich mit Liegen für Erwachsene. Das Hotel ist fast direkt am Strand, man muss nur wenige Meter laufen. Der Strand ist groß und mäßig gefüllt gewesen. Je nach Wasserstand gibt es aber große Steine. Es gibt außerhalb einen schönen Spielplatz. Ich würde dieses Hotel nur buchen, wenn man einen Mietwagen hat. Parkplätze waren außerhalb der Saison mäßig verfügbar.

La verdad que muy buen Hotel, estupendas instalaciones, se pasa muy bien, frente a la playa, estupendo para niños con un miniclub fantástico, pero el Buffet deja bastante que desear. Reservamos sin meter al niño, porque tiene 3 años, no come de nada (le llevamos su comida) y sino que durmiera con nosotros. Lo decimos al hacer checkin y nos dicen q tb tiene que pagar, 60 euros, pero es q encima nos dicen q la habitación es la q teniamos reservada, es decir pago por 3 y me dan habitacion para 2. Tuvo que ponerse seria mi mujer, para que al final nos buscaran una habitación para 3

Hotel nuevo y por tanto muy bien cuidado. Bastante amplio, servicio de limpieza muy bueno, muy amables. El personal del hotel , trabaja mucho y te los ves en todas partes. Enhorabuena por ellos pq le dan calidad al hotel. La comida , lo peor con mucha diferencia. Un buffet cargado de comida simple, sencilla y sin estridencias. Podría entrar en detalles pero mejor dejarlo así. Simplemente no repetiría por las comidas. Y por otro lado, pagas un spa que es bastante pequeño, y hay chorros que están estropeados , que seguro que no llevan un día así, y no por ello te van a cobrar menos. A parte del coste de un gorro, el cual no hay que pagar en otro hotel de la zona (te lo dan y lo devuelves)

Hay piscinas para ellos con toboganes, un acceso directo a la playa, piscina climatizada… Pillamos el tiempo regular y no pudimos disfrutar mucho tiempo de las piscinas pero habia 2 parques en la zona de juegos, uno exterior y uno interior, y así al menos siempre estuvo entretenido.
