I booked this on my way home from a work trip in KS. I booked the particular motel in KS over other choices because it had a hot tub. when I got there, it was not working and wouldn't be for some time. So, I chose this property on the way home because it had a hot tub in hopes to make up for the one I missed out on at the other place. I got to the property and this hot tub had water in it. But when I got closer, there was a handwritten sign that it was closed! In both places, the pool was still functional. I paid significantly more for this property than the others around it with no hot tub just to get a hot tub. I regret that. Apparently, this entire trip I was not meant to get a motel with a hot tub! The rest of the motel was as expected for the level of motel it is. Clean, although the room smelled of shampooed carpet like after pets or smoke. The room also backed up to a train track, and the train was a bit loud in the middle of the night. the front desk has a cutesy little thing about \"don't like our train? Here's earplugs\". I didn't understand what that meant until around 4 AM! I just did my best to ignore it, but did leave a little earlier in the morning than I would have if I had slept better.

The employee that checked us in was so nice and helpful. Very clean and up to date property. The pool was lovely. Breakfast was delicious and there was lots of variety!
The one negative comment I have is it’s super close to a train so that’s loud. Otherwise 10/10 would stay again

This hotel is always clean- breakfast is good. A little dated and little things like light bulbs burned out, bathroom products empty, and train noise can wake you up at night. Overall- I always enjoy my stay here and will definitely be going back when I visit my family in the area!

Very clean room, friendly staff, pool and hot tub were clean! Downfall is no available pool towels in evening… I don’t think they had been restocked. Beware of train. I expected train to pass through a couple of times throughout the night but it was several times and lasted awhile! Breakfast was average.

I liked that the hotel was clean but I was disappointed that there was no one at the counter. You had to ring a bell for someone to help you. The food choices for breakfast was disappointing. The pool area was really dark. They could use more lighting.

We were supposed to stay two nights but checked out after the first night. Our bed was rock hard and very uncomfortable.

The hot tub was cloudy and seemed dirty and not even \"hot\"

We also found a used bandaid in one of our beds and the house keeper had left her keys/badge in our room.

The room was clean and spacious but no soap in the shower or at the bathroom sink. I needed an extra pillow and asked about a rollaway bed but the desk staff was not very responsive or helpful. The room was very, very loud, as if the sound from other rooms was traveling through the air ducts or something. Breakfast was okay, but several items needed replenishing with over an hour left in the serving time. Fair warning - the property backs up to a train that passed five times overnight. I would not stay here again.

I have stayed there multiple times. The last 3 times i have been unhappy with am staff knocking on the door multiple times to clean the room before i even checked out. The two times before this last time......staff walked in on us by using their key card to come in. This last time, staff knocked at 0900 and then again at 1030. The last time i was unhappy because i spend alot of money at this hotel.......and to be bothered by cleaning staff is just ridiculous. The staff should know when i check out and wait until then.

Stay was O.K. except the front desk gave me no wake up call which I requested the night before in person at the desk. This person was very helpful but maybe forgot? The next day after sleeping through breakfast the new person while I was checking out told me it was my problem and not theirs...that they don't \"do that\". SO what hotel in the world that doesn't have alarm clocks in the room doesn't give you a wake up call when requested??? There's even a button on the phone for it...(???) Also noone seems to have mentioned there is a train track like 25 yards behind the hotel that runs at night and sounds like the building is coming down. It is safe and clean...can't comment on breakfast because I never got to have it. 2 out of 3 workers encountered were good, but the \"it's not our problem\" person isn't fit to meet the public.

The guy at the front desk was there alone and it was his first night which we understand but we stood there for half a hour while he tried getting someone to answer to figure out why only it showed me paying one price versus three times as much at check in. Then once we finally get checked in our non smoking room wreaked of weed. Hallway smelt of cigarette smoke. The real kicker was when the giant roach was crawling on the shower curtain. We tried to kill it but it ran to the toilet area and went between the tank and toilet seat. Stood there but he never came back out. Went to bed and got up at 530 to get ready and leave for work and there was a bunch of smaller babies around the fridge and under the tv. I snapped three pictures of them. Will not be staying here again. Would have loved to address the issue at check out but no one was at the desk when I left at approximately 620am.

Older hotel and needs some updating in the lobby and hallways, but rooms are nice and updated.

Nice continental breakfast.

Had some issues with our door keys not working and was assigned a new room, after they could not gain access to the room they assigned us.

It was very quiet and not busy at all. Had pool to ourselves. Only thing that was distuptive were the trains passing directly behind the hotel.

We will likely stay again on our next trip down that way.

And breakfast did not get eat, cold cereal, sausage, eggs, biscuits, and gravy, when I got there, there was no biscuits. Guy told me yesterday morning. They were cold. I end up just leaving.

The manager is non-existent and does not give his Front Desk staff the ability to make decisions to fully serve the guests. The hotel is more concerned about their policies than understanding the plight of having to make last minute travel changes, even after staying there for 3 nights.

Parking was good, location was good for what we needed.
THE HOTEL IS BUILT RIGHT NEXT TO THE VERY ACTIVE TRAIN TRACKS (within 30 yards) which made it very hard to sleep as you could feel your bed start to rumble before the train ever came by ever so loudly.
The place just needs a good scrub and a remodel.
The carpets were disgusting, things were falling apart, the AC kept turning off, the hot tub was out of order, the entire place was hot (early October, so it wasn't something that AC couldn't fix)...

Check your room before you accept it

First room... walked in and it smelled like a wet dog. I asked for a new room and the clerk seemed upset and rolled his eyes. The second room.... walked in and it too smelled like wet dog, but not as bad. I asked the housekeeper for air freshener and she got the clerk. He seemed upset again until he walked in and smelled the room. He apologized and gave us a 3rd room. Third room... it was fine, no smell. The breakfast was ok.. the pool area was pretty cute. I liked the hot tub.the pool towels could have been bigger but thats just nit picking.

Specifically booked a “non smoking” room with 2 double queen sized beds, and received a smoked room. The employees then placed my family into a single queen size bedroom for 4 people. Unpleasant experience overall. On top of that it took them awhile to find our booking info. You want to be able to come and not have to deal with this kind of stuff after a long day.

We left in the notes we had our daughter in a wheelchair, (she's cp and autism), they put us on the second floor so we ended up carrying her.. because in a fire we can't use the elevator with her wheelchair. Then we get to the room and the WiFi is not working, we tried EVERYTHING, even our hotspots on our phones to the tv. Went to front desk, the came to our room couldn't figure it out either and said, \"give it some time\". Which is not how WiFi works but ok. (Neither spoke English well) So we went back down saying it still wasn't working, the lady was NOT nice about it, said we could go to another room. (We needed WiFi to work for her stimming shows etc) we get to a new room same problem. So obviously none of their TVs have WiFi access like they said, and they did not want to help us or figure it out (or couldn't ?) long story shorter, we turned both sets of rooms keys in and left, having only been there not even 2 hours. And zero reimbursement.

This property was good overall for being a hotel/ motel. Checkin took 20 minutes to get a person up to the desk as the person working the desk was taking care of another issue in a hotel room. The hotel was extremely clean. The mattresses in the room felt like cardboard with a pillow topper, the air conditioning worked well and the bathroom was well stocked with both towels as well as toiletries. The blinds in my room were not in working order as the chain had skipped off the gear. I fixed the blinds and fixed them. Overall very adequate lodging. The lodging was also close to everything in Republic

The staff member at check in was very kind. Despite what looked like strict rules about not smoking, my room reeked of smoke. There was a burn hole made by a cigarette in the comforter. The toilet handle was broken. The hotel was full, so nothing could be done. The indoor pool and hot tub were really good. Breakfast was so so. I would not stay here again.

I got what I paid for. Basic hotel, wasn't aware I will be next to railroad and trains are loud at night. Shower experience wasn't the best. Hotel is not that old, but theres mold in a tub. I liked more or less cleaness of the rooms. Hotel location is convenient and super close to restaurants.

My biggest issue was i xalled the front desk to let them know about a issue with a room close to us, they had a dog and it barked most of night and than for at least a good hour to hour in half. Was told they would put us in a different room after 1pm. Well that never happened. The woman working the front desk said their was no notes for our room when we was told they would put a note that we was to get a different room. Only other real issue is that they never had any towels in the pool area. When i got back to the hotel Saturday night the whole lobby and the 2nd floor smelled of Marijuana.

I stayed overnight, and chose this location because it is close to my destination. It has been several years since I stayed here. There has been a “refresh” of the property. While it’s cleaner than the previous time I stayed here, I did have some concerns. There was a moldy area along the top edge of the tub surround and peeling paint. The carbon monoxide detector was a plugin version-not sure how current that is according to safety standards. I did feel safe staying in the area, and there are dining options close.

The dayshift desk lady was absolutely amazing! She handled my situation with care and was very professional! Even though it wasn’t her responsibility she worked through the problem with experian, with me .
The room was newly renovated, very sanitary and clean .
Housekeeping employees were amazing , some didn’t know much English!

I enjoyed my stay. There’s a lot of restaurants and stores available and it isn’t far from the hotel. Customer service was great. Everything was clean. The room had a lot of open space. The pool and hot tub were great for the most part. The jets didn’t work in the hot tub but it was nice and hot. There is a train behind and close to the building which could be an issue for some people. We had no issue with it and didn’t hear anything while sleeping. (We sleep with a fan and sound machine). I will be using this hotel the next time I visit my family.
