Great bedding and bathroom, esp shower- best i have ever had. However we were expecting 2 bedrooms plus a living/eating area with a table Instead of a ledge. Instead we had to walk through our son’s room to get to ours. So not a 2br suite. We’ll read the specs more carefully in future. A mirror in the main bedroom would also be useful.

Breakfast was a small buffet but everything was delicious. The staff in the restaurant were lovely, however they didn’t mention that everytime we asked for a coffee thinking it was part of the buffet breakfast that there were additional charges. The executive room itself was clean and had a beautiful view of the golf course. The pool was also very clean.

The bar/ restaurant was understaffed. The food was adequate, but burgers were raw. Bar staff not interested in food that couldn’t be eaten neither were Wednesday morning reception staff.
The rooms were spacious with a sunny outlook. Bathrooms and linen require immediate updating and cleaning.
Room cleaning/servicing between nights was poor. Benches not wiped.
Staff are not all friendly. However, the Tuesday morning manager seemed approachable.

Staff were super friendly and helpful! A special shoutout to Jeremy who had helped us with dinner bookings and TV connection.
The Gibraltar room is decently sized. The king bed was comfortably big however, the mattress is not so firm so if you’re used to sleeping on firm mattresses the first night will need some adjusting to.
Room comes with sheer and blackout curtains, great for lighting and sleeping.
Overall cleanliness can be improved but at least the bed was clean so we’re quite happy with that.
You’ll need to ask for amenities such as dental kits and bathrobes. Apart from basic housekeeping such as making the bed and providing new towels, it doesn’t look like refill amenities and refreshments.
It can get noisy near the door area, but it didn’t bother us.
The room we stayed in also has a fantastic view of the golf course (hole 1), so overall, our experience was very positive.

The guy in the reception when checked in wasn’t friendly.He gave us the room w/ broken lock cant open the room door and went back to the reception to tell the problem.There was a different person in the reception and told me that the room that the guy gave has a broken lock that everyone knew.My question was if the guy knew about it why he gave that room and let us went up to the room.My point is if one of the rooms has problem especially the lock,fix the problem first before offering that room to any of your paying customers.The hotel is not worth of 5 stars rating.

This accommodation had the comfiest bed and pillows my husband and I have ever experienced. I'm also pregnant at the moment so that was a huge thing for me! Someone was always at Reception when we needed them and the bar and restaurant had such amazing food and drinks that made it enjoyable to stay in on a rainy weekend.

The hotel was clean, well maintained, and clearly cared for, which made for a pleasant first impression. The room was exceptionally spacious and offered stunning, uninterrupted views of the lake. The bathroom was also generously sized, and the shower delivered excellent water pressure and strong, consistent water flow from the shower head.

The bed was a good size, but the mattress was uncomfortable as it dipped in the middle and lacked proper support, making it difficult to get a restful sleep. The toilet was positioned extremely low, which made it challenging to use comfortably—I unfortunately fell backwards a few times as a result.

For dining, only the bar was open for dinner, with no access to the hotel’s other restaurants during our stay. Additionally, a can of Coke was priced at $7.50, which I found to be very pricey and not reflective of typical pricing.

On a positive note, the pool was fantastic and a real highlight—the water temperature was ideal, perfectly warm, and very enjoyable.

Overall, while the hotel’s cleanliness, maintenance, and room size were excellent, improvements to bedding comfort and restaurant availability would greatly enhance the guest experience.

Great for very little kids, not so for bigger kids. Pool very small and games room lacking. Our first breakfast was a scene from faulty towers, only one person on and nothing there, including clean plates. BUT they did hear the complaints and was much better the next day. Generally rooms are good, clean and tidy - you can hear your neighbours next door, It’s a fair walk to town so be prepared to drive.

The room is not how it was advertised online. Very tired, most power points broken or dodgy. Very dark inside, everything seemed old and tired. Room never made up, either staff were late or too busy doing check out rooms. We booked and paid extra to pay at hotel. The hotel tried to take money 3 days before stay and threatened we would loose our booking if they didn’t get their money in advance. Not ok. Worst of all we had a view of car park and bins, no view of golf course as promised. Will never go here again

Would rated staff 5 stars however unfortunately our last night stay we ordered room service and it took 1 and 1/2 hour, they lost the order when called reception it took 4 calls talking to 3 different people to just just transfer to the restaurant and leaving a message at the restaurant. The staff on the after hours hotel chain (especially female on Monday 22nd Dec) was useless.

The room was an accessible room which I didn't realise I booked.The bathroom was very big but there was no bench space and the shower curtain was about 30 to 40 cm off the floor as a result the floor got saturated during a shower and the floor was super slippery. I would suggest getting a longer shower curtain to avoid this.

We had requested to be able to check in by 1230-to which we were told there will be extra charge. I then replied saying we wont be there till 1pm anyways.
I never agreed to extra charges -which were ridiculous given we pnly needed to leave the bags so we didnt have to do the formality late at 1130 at night.
We were never told about extra charges at checkin.
I see that 120 has been deducted.for 1 hr early check in? Sorry not acceptable for a reputed hotel like this

Beautiful location, serene and peaceful. A bit out of town, probably too far to walk. Rooms very clean and modern, minimal kitchen facilities - kettle and bar fridge only - even in family room.
Pool is great, heated and a lot of fun. Only negative - Walls a bit thin in our room (115), we could hear the adjoining room and their TV far too clearly.

We had a nice big room, and liked the peace of the golf course view and water feature. It was a along walk to reception if one had difficulties walking. There is one lift, and we were on the 2nd floor, but could use stairs outside our room.

Lovely quiet location on the golf course. The food and beverage options aren’t great if you have children. They really only offer a modern Asian cuisine and you aren’t in town to have other options available unless you drive. The gym isn’t great either for a report style hotel. That definitely could be bigger and have more equipment and room to work out. But it is clean and the pool is lovely. The rooms are ok. For what you pay they could be better. Felt more like a room for a business trip rather than a luxury, country resort style hotel. The staff were pleasant, professional and friendly. I also think checkout should be 11 and not 10.

Hotel was ok, it looked fairly new but looking around I could acknowledge that maintenance wasn’t taken seriously.
Our room had a sewer odour when we arrived and all that could be offered was to spray the room with Glen20. Ended up buying a $50 candle to give our room the desired smell.
The room was rather dusty too, something I found rather surprising.
The restaurant was ok, nothing you’d write home about. Asian inspired but way off the mark.
The hotel is located in a nice area; quiet and not too far for a drive into town.

We wanted a luxury escape. And it was almost that, but a few things were broken which put a damper on it...
The hotel and staff were lovely.
But the TV stopped working after 6pm. Just a scrambled signal.
The phone didn't work to call for someone to fix it or to order room service.
There were no pool towels left at the pool.
The power point wasn't working next to the bed.
I would love to stay again. Just wish everything was in working condition.

Great location, great rooms great amenities. Breakfast buffet was great and staff were very attentive. Perhaps an exhaust fan in the bathrooms would be welcomed as there is currently none. Also the room service menu was on a QR code and hard to navigate. Perhaps a printed version would be good to include.

This is the only golf resort where I haven’t had a golf course view. All the family rooms and interconnecting rooms face the car park which I found quite dark and depressing. I love looking on the course from my room, watching the golf, but this wasn’t an option. So I don’t think it is a great hotel for families. It’s fine for couples or singles but make sure you ask for golf facing rooms. The golf is challenging but great. The pro shop staff are awesome. The breakfast staff are super welcoming. I would definitely play golf here again but would stay somewhere else.

We enjoyed our stay at the Park Proxi which is conveniently located within close proximity to the centre of Bowral . Kids had lots of fun at the pool and breakfast variety was pretty good as well . However , we had an issue with TV in our room which made it hard to entertain kids in the evening. Overall it was a nice wknd away.
