Only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. Our room had a king bed but quite small bathroom with easy access to the bistro and the open fireplace. Breakfast was not included and was $30pp. You could request your eggs cooked to order. This is a lovely well maintained hotel. Special thank you to Harry who looked after us in the bistro for dinner which was excellent too. Not really walking distance to the shops. You really need a car. Highly recommended.

Limited room service was a bit disappointing but there is a restaurant onsite. Hotel is very dark with a medieval theme. Bit outdated and could use a refresh. Berida aspires to be a 5 star hotel, but isn't. The female staff are warm, friendly and polite, the males less so - inexplicably unfriendly in my experience. The room was reasonably comfortable, but they need to spend on infrastructure, so that you're not woken at night when someone uses their bathroom, and it sounds like a fire hydrant has gone off. Some sound insulation between rooms is desperately needed. Some real own-goals too - a nice fountain in the entry garden has tacky music playing from it. Eugh. What were they thinking? And when I went to breakfast, there was some lumbering, drooling dog wandering about where the food was being prepared and served. Animals are really inappropriate in that context from a hygiene perspective. I walked right out again. Those are avoidable pitfalls. They've got the surface looking right, but need to give more focus to the substance.

It’s a gorgeous property with lux yet calm decor, comfortable bed and lovely fittings. There was some renovation work happening while we were there and the gym not open in the mornings but when accessed in the afternoon we found a terrific gym set up. The restaurant in which we had breakfast and dined one evening has a lovely atmosphere however could have used at least one additional wait staff and a speedy barista on duty in the morning. Overall it was a lovely stay. Staff was friendly and hotel was clean. However room layout was a bit odd (no table near a socket to boil a kettle and so had to boil the kettle by the bed side table). Service was a bit slow in the restaurant. The games room was great and so was the EV charger at the car park.

It is over priced. The room we got costs more than $400 per night. But it only has a small home aircon and not central heating. It was so noisy and could not sleep due to the aircon noise. Also the bathroom is freezing cold without any heating facilities. They did not change our towels. They just left all dirty towels in the bathroom.

The bar and restaurant especially have gone from strength to strength and are a great place to start, spend or end your evening. I especially value the excellent and vast selection of non-alcoholic drink options at the bar and restaurant as a non drinker - they set a benchmark that is both very high, and very appreciated. Has to be one of the best accommodation options in Bowral if you are after luxury, hotel facilities and dining options. When we were first asked about booking the restaurant during our stay, we declined, thinking it's some average offering that was not going to stack up to the many restaurants. Well how wrong were we. We ended up getting squeezed into a last minute booking and I would say one of the highlights of staying at Bowral. The Hotel itself has an old regal style to it, and every single staff member we interacted with, was amazing. 5 Star bedding, blackout curtains, mini bar, quality bathroom supplies and everything else you would expect from a good hotel. If you want something special, book this hotel. Well done to management and the staff.

Fantastic hotel! Beautiful French provincial decor, modern, clean and pretty. Staff are amazing. The bar and bistro are open all day and evening. The food and service at the on-site Bistro Sociale was impeccable.
