Great view! Stuff was awesome! One thing very frustrating was only one mirror! My wife likes to get ready while I'm taking a shower and the mirror of course is foggy. Most hotels have a separate mirror in the main area or somewhere.

Very clean and spacious room. I stayed with my daughter and we enjoyed the executive suite with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. We didn't use the pool but it was decent sized with a large patio. We enjoyed the proximity to the beaches and very quiet hotel. Only complaints were that the balcony wasn't as private as I'd like. We were separated from neighbors with bamboo so their noise and smoke drifted to out size. Lamps would make the rooms more cozy too :)

Room was beautiful but a few easy tweaks would give this a 5 star. More hooks in the bathrooms for drying towels, bathing suits and all the things. More dishes, cutlery, toaster and kettle in the kitchen. Chairs for outside are not comfortable. At basically $400 CAD per night this should be doable. Bed and linens and pillows were A++ for us!

Beautiful, clean, quiet place with great staff! My only minor complaint is that the garden view room had lights outside that shone in the room around the blind, so the room wasn't as dark as I would like. I think curtains on either side of the roll down blind would eliminate this issue. I would happily stay here again.

The property is beautiful. Our room had a terrible smell of mould when we walked in. The shower was not draining at all, so we had to unscrew a plug that was in it. Once we did that, another awful smell filled the room. We asked to switch rooms the next day because the odour was unbearable. They switched us no problem and were quite kind. The next room also had a mould smell but it was less pronounced. I think this is just a byproduct of being close to the ocean and unavoidable - we have had similar experiences in southern coastal accommodations, but because the room wasn’t exactly cheap, we felt it wasn’t out of line to ask to be moved. Again, they were very nice about it.
The rooms also didn’t have any lamps, which makes it difficult to read comfortably at night. But the water pressure was good, the decks and tubs are beautiful. And the pool is nice to lounge at - on the beach we were harassed by people trying to sell us something every two minutes (literally). So the pool is a bit of a refuge! Everything else was 10/10.

Our 2 bedroom suite was huge and had all the things we required to make the stay really great. The infinity pool looking over the beach is wonderful, you are looking at the fishing end of the beach, and you do have some trees in front of you but the view is still fantastic. Nestled in the jungle it is peaceful on this end of town. Quick walk to town, restaurants and everything you need. It is a family friendly resort with people of all ages staying. Quiet and cute for a getaway. Beds were super comfortable. Staff was amazing. They all get 5 stars.

- There are stairs and steep walkways which could be a challenge for folks with mobility issues.

Bar ran out of ice and offered to sell me a bag for $50 pesos. Beach chairs required spending $500 pesos at their restaurant. Great location, but comfort and service are treated as extras. Wouldn’t return or recommend.

Important - did not stay here so this is only regarding policy. A member of my immediate family unexpectedly fell ill just before, and ended up passing during, the dates of this reservation and we obviously had to cancel - a week long trip - $$. The hotel refused to provide even a fraction of the payment, or apply any credit at all toward a later stay, etc. Just a complete lack of understanding, as you’d expect from a large corporate chain hotel, and we paid the whole amount for nothing. They did allow us to change the name on the reservations so someone could use the room for one night, hence 3 stars instead of fewer.

Loved our stay here. Steps from the beach. Close to Centro and could walk to so many fun restaurants and shops but in a quiet location. Walkable to a few private beaches as well. The property is close to the beach area where the fisherman come in which has pros/cons; there is limited parking onsite but it's a long way from the parking to the hotel room and it's uphill all the way which is a problem for many. The pool is right in front of the hotel so exiting the hotel is always past the pool area that didn't seem to be used very much while we were there. Staff was great, but you never see the inside hotel area, because they register you right in the parking area--never saw the inside of the hotel the entire time we were there. Is there one?? We were to have breakfast included but they didn't mention it and we did have to ask about it the next day. They contract with a restaurant across from the hotel, so there is only the beach \"cafe\" available for food. No place to get ice at the hotel. No information inside the hotel to let you know what's available. Outside the hotel you are on the rocky beach, not very big and all through the streets of Sayulita it's very dirty, noisy (from all the music and 4 wheelers/golf carts that take over the town) and overrun with the smell of MJ and people asking you if you want to buy some--food is very overpriced and the infrastructure has not kept up with the crowds that come here. I would not recommend this area as a family getaway.

We paid $1,000 to stay an extra night we changed our flights and paid top dollar for one more night at the hotel. We paid more for our last night that we paid for any of the nights we stayed the previous week. On our last night it was important for us to enjoy our time seeing as though we paid so much to say one more night. The power went out in our entire room. We spent two hours in the room in darkness not able to even change into other clothes because we couldn't see anything. We missed our dinner reservations and then they said they had another room available for us this was up for flights of stairs and we had to leave all of our belongings and are old room in this room was not as nice as our last room we had nothing of Our Own and most of our night was already taken up by this ordeal. I requested that they comp our last night's day because of all of this that had happened. They said they talked to management and would not be doing that. I think this is absolutely ridiculous our whole night was ruined and then the whole next morning we had to spend going to our other room in packing which we wanted to do the night before. It's very unfortunate when a hotel is not willing to rectify something this big.

Everything from start to finish was fantastic. The folks at the front desk are incredibly friendly and helpful and made our stay so easy. Our room was gorgeous and very clean. We had absolutely no issues! We rented a golf cart on site one day to get to a wedding nearby in our high heels, but other than that, Hotel Ysuri was very close to town and many local beaches so we were able to walk. As two women traveling alone, we cannot emphasize how safe we felt at all times in town and around the property. We cannot wait to come again and spend more time here.

Terrible! We stayed for 4 nights and had to change rooms after the first night because they booked the room we were originally in to someone else for the other 3 nights. Then, they say they charge an insane amount for any stains on the sheet and make you sign a sheet at checkin, but when we got to our room, the sheets were dirty and stained. Terrible customer service, dirty and super inconvenient to have to change rooms during a stay. Also, hard to get around with a stroller because only stairs.
