Property was average. Room smelled a bit like pee and no hand soap was provided. There were plenty of linens, it was walkable and never struggled to find parking. The covered parking was underground and the spots were TINY and nearly impossible to use with a rental car that you’re not accustom to. Staff was nice.

a nice place to lay your head!

Apartments are well situated for getting into Lagos centre and just a 5/10 min walk to the marina where there is lots of bars and restaurants. Note that there is a bit of a hill upto the hotel.

The apartment itself is basic in style but it had everything needed for self catering (minus an electric kettle, just a small tea pot we used).

One of the sofa beds wouldn’t pull out and as we arrived late the reception was closed as it’s not 24hr. However we got by using the other sofa bed along with the double bed.

The bathroom is dated and the floor tiles could be doing with a good scrub but I think it’s just wear and tear.

Balcony area was Lovely and very large!

Pool area was lovely and also secure.

Closest supermarket is 10 min walk down the hill to a ‘pointe doco’. The small shop along from reception has very limited hours.

Overall a nice place to stay while we explored Lagos. And very reasonably priced too!

the front door lock is not working and is difficult to open, the light switches are totally random, some do some don't work, the shower leaked and the head was falling off the wall no instructions on the heating, no mugs or correct size cups, very limited bowls plates etc, very very disappointed and expect a full refund, I visit Lagos many times and will be telling people to avoid this place if i do not receive a refund

We enjoyed our stay in Lagos as we go regularly.
Pool bar staff are excellent and very friendly, whereas the reception staff were awful! No help at all. The check in and check out times do not seem to add up at all.. check in is 4pm and check out is 10am. Kitchen facilities in apartment are limited. Property is saved by the lovely location close to the Lagos marina.

2 Bed apartment for 3 nights

Nice fairly new blocks of apartments. Stayed in 2 bed apt, one double bed and one with 2 singles. They provided travel cot for our baby which was really good condition.
Pool area is nice and clean with snack bar reasonably priced. About 2 min walk from our apt.

Apt had kitchen stuff to serve 6 but could do with a pizza cutter/blocks.

Apt was really clean when we arrived but no towel or cleaning service in the 3 days we were there, and on the final morning there were dozens of small flies at the kitchen window from the sink I think.

It is a great location if you are driving, but maybe a 10 minute walk to the Marina or local beach. Town is around 20 minute walk. If driving then underground garage is great if you have a pushchair, else there are 3 small steps to access the lift.

Is appartment blocks with a pool. Price is a bit much for what you get, only one of our four job rings worked and toilet was very cramped we had to fix shower so didn’t keep falling down. Not bad location only 10-15 min walk to marina and bit longer for old town. There is free parking near marina, if we had know would have picked a nicer hotel closer to town and left car in free parking area. Marina also has a nice large beach close by. Lagos is a lovely area.

Spacious apartment a 5 minute walk to the pool. Adequate on site facilities and room had almost everything you needed except a kettle. Room was cleaned once throughout the stay which was fine as we were only there 4 nights. Reception could have been more welcoming on our first day but checking in was easy enough. 15-20 minute walk down into the town. Lovely and quiet in the resort (mid June) so always a lounger by the pool available.

Ideally positioned for both the Marina and to go into the Old Town. Very basic accommodation, but very cheap. If you are looking for somewhere just to sleep and get showered/changed then its perfect.

My only comments are that the bathrooms need a bit of freshening up and no cleaning products what so ever. Not even a sweeping brush. The large balcony was great for sitting out but had no lights, which was strange.

Excellent choice for housekeeping accomodation

Apartment was very comfortable and clean, with adequate supplies and equipment. We had a one-bedroom end unit, which increased the light and air in the apartment and cut down on noise from neighbours. Balcony was large and comfortably furnished. Pool was great. Cleaning staff came every 3 - 4 days, which was just enough to keep things clean without being intrusive. 15 minute walk to the marina and the historic part of the city, which was fine for us.

I really enjoyed our stay at the vitasol but was appalled that the only bar and restaurant on site was closed for our entire stay we couldn't even get an ice pop or a drink while we lay by the pool, the management knew about this in advance and never contacted anybody to inform us. We had a 3 bed apartment which was huge and we had a huge balcony. However there were a lot of steps up and down to the pool and a huge hill up and down to the town, just things to be aware of however it was a nice site and had lots of grass around the pool area which was nice.

Having stayed Here 6 times over the last 8 years its starting to show its age.
Generally the grounds and pool area are kept to a good standard and can provide a cheap base for a family or group holiday in Lagos. Always loved the location and views and staff have been polite.
Sadly the Apartments are getting tired with worn, broken cupboards, broken or missing tiles in the shower, broken washing machine, and sofa that's well past its best.
In these days the basics should include some form of WIFI, a Kettle( I buy one every trip and leave behind!) and even general maintenance to fixture and fittings. Other hotels that provide these services are no longer far behind on price.

Great self catering accommodation !

Great accommodation, apartments very large and very well equipped, air con in all rooms, kitchen very well equipped, included dishwasher and washing machine which did come in handy ! Bedrooms very well thought out and 2 bathrooms was a bonus. Balcony was very large, our apartment accommodated 6 and even though there was only 2 of us there was ample space for a much larger group. Swimming pool fantastic. Close to beach (about 10 min walk), 8 min walk to marina excellent bars & restaurants there, about 10-15 min walk to main town, only downside to this hotel, pool bar was not open, i asked in reception why and when it would be open and they could not give a reason or when it would be open, a bit of a let down, no notes anywhere to advise, i can only think it was a seasonal thing but then again we are no in June so not sure why it wouldn't be open yet. Also, it apartments situated up a very steep hill, not a problem for us but if you suffer from disability or struggle with long walks/hills then this may not be for you, we did get a cab back from town a couple of nights and it cost about 5 euros (about £4) so if your happy with this then go for it. Well equipped Supermarket located a bottom of hill (pingo dolce) there is a lidl further on but can't see why you would need to go further than the local super market. There is a on site small shop so excellent for picking up bottles of water and any small bits you may need during your stay.

Basic accommodation avoid block 12

The apartment I was allocated was at the end of block 12 . It was terrible . The wind howled through it all night which prevented me from sleeping. There was no sun on the balcony in the morning or evening when I was there. The beds were hard and uncomfortable.
You get basic accommodation. There is a small shop nearby but it closes early and it is a long walk to the nearest supermarket and an even longer uphill walk back!!
The onsite bar was not open and there was work being done on it during my stay. You would need a car if you had small children or was disabled to get to the beach or town or to the shops.

A great stay with fantastic staff!

Friendly staff, clean rooms and situated close to the beach and marina. When our transfer to the airport was 40 minutes late, staff allowed us to use the reception phone and they spoke in Portuguese to help with the situation. The location is just a 10/15 minute walk to Meia Praia and 5 minutes from the Marina. Highly recommend it!

The only great thing about this hotel was that it had a swimming pool. The staff were very friendly which im glad. Our rooms and bathroom had ants crawling around and how is it possible that the rooms had no internet connection. As you can imagine, it became quite boring.

I was slighlty concerned about how far they would be from the main town before we arrived but it is literally a 10 minute walk down the hill to the marina where the buzz begins and only another 10 mins til you are right in the centre. Excellent location and excellent destination for those in their 20's as well as families and couples.

Great place to stay!

This is a very nice apartment. However, just beware that the pillows are lumpy or thin. In fact, we found hard beds and lumpy pillows to be the norm all over Portugal! Bring some dishwasher tablets, laundry soap (I put some in a 3oz bottle). I wish I would have brought dish soap as well. Oh, bring you own suntan lotion! The smallest bottle (about 3 oz) is almost $15...crazy expensive! We had a car, which I think was the smartest way to check out the whole area. The beaches are amazing especially near the point. There are great boat rides to the grottos, take one to show you where all the great beaches are for about 10 euros per person. We had a great 4 days at this hotel! The only improvement I could suggest (besides the pillows) is adding a hot tub to the pool area. That would have made the stay perfect!

Incredible value for money

This was a fantastic apartment and would be great for a week long holiday stay. The view from the large balcony was excellent and the apartments themselves are not far from the train or bus station (although you have to climb a bit of a hill if you are on foot). Note that the location is marked incorrectly on Google Maps (search for \"Hotel Marina Park\" instead).

It's a ten minute walk to the nearest supermarket - the mini mart opposite reception is good for one or two items but is very expensive by comparison. The beach (Meia Praia) and/or shops are a 15-20 minute walk away.

Our only complaint about the apartment was the lack of items such as dishwashing liquid, a dish brush, washing machine powder and a clothes horse. Considering there is a washing machine and self catering is a primary reason for staying in an apartment, it would have been logical and extremely helpful to provide these things. As we were only staying for three nights - and we were backpacking - it was very inconvenient to have to buy full bottles of washing liquids.

Overall though, this is a good accommodation choice and exceptional value for money. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to go back.

Je déconseille

Accueil plutôt froid concernant l appartement est vieillissant. Les activités pour enfants parc de jeux sont fermé en février donc cela devrait être stipulé.

Je déconseille cet endroit d autant qu on est pas à proximité du centre donc à moins de prendre la voiture cela reste compliqué avec des enfants .

Nous etions dans 1 appartement avec 1 chambre,tres spacieux,grande terrasse, au calme, avec garage.belle piscine un peu à l ecart des appartements avec de la place tout autours. Preferable d avoir une voiture pour aller à la plage qui n est pas tres loin, à peine 10mn,grande possibilité pour se garer. A 20 mn à pied de la marina.
En conclusion bel appartement.

Ho trascorso tre notti all'interno di questa struttura situata a pochi passi dal centro del paese.
Il complesso strutturale risulta mal tenuto e assolutamente da rimodernare, la nuova reception si trova all'esterno della struttura e non dove viene indicata dalla mappa, ovvero subito all'entrata.
La pulizia non è delle migliori e l'arredamento è piuttosto scadente...non considerando il micronde sospeso su una mensola di fronte al divano!
Nonostante ció il personale si è dimostrato cordiale e disponibile.

Résidence de vacances sans charme

Accueil minimaliste, plus une usine a tourisme qu un lieu ou on peut se détendre.
L autoroute passe a cote et est audible jour et nuit car les appartements sont mal isolés.
La résidence est battu par le vent assourdissant.
Les appartements mériteraient un refresh, certains meubles ont mal vécu la sur-utilisation, canapé lit équipe d une simple mousse sans alésé peu hygienique.
