I am so glad I stayed here - everything is close by - you can walk everywhere, the hop on hop off bus is right there and the train! Would have liked a dishwasher. Daily housekeeping did not include tea or coffee pod replacement. They said you could buy more coffee pods from reception after you have used the 2 pods provided for two people for three nights. But I did want to thank them for the complimentary bottle of champagne on my birthday. Also Daniel at Reception helped me call the next accommodation when I needed to obtain an access code, as I had not received it. A load off my mind when I got it over the phone. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend the Marina Suites Resort and Apartments at Lagos

We are just back from a stay at this property. Absolutely fabulous. We stay in a one bed suite and it had every kitchen utensil you could imagine as well as a full size fridge and Jo and a combo mircowave , grill and oven. Everything spotless . Situated right on the marina so a few minutes walk to bars and restaurants. There is also a grocery nearby . Pool was busy but no issue with loungers. Very quiet area. Would definetly recommend

The hotel was very clean and confortablr yet some cushions on the sofa bed would have made it more usable as a sofa. A dining table rather than coffee table on the balcony would also have been nice.
There was a power cut one morning but nothing was communicated. It caused some inconvenience especially as there was no natural light in the bathroom.

Rooms are immense but a bit worn. You get a huge variety of dishes and cookware. You are charged for your coffee pods but it is very reasonable. Parking is indeed free and very convenient, but DO ask exactly how to get out of the lot, because it is tricky. If the shower cofuses you as it did us, ask for directions, they are used to this and have directions at reception. Our room was one level up from the street and was very quiet.

Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Great location very family friendly. Has a well stocked kitchen if you want to prepare a meal. There is a fresh food market and a grocery store within walking distance.

Very close to a very good local seafood restaurant and the beach. Also close to many water adventure tours.

Close but far enough away from old town, the marina has its own night life.

Looking forward to coming back.

I love the resort feel of this property. The pool is very large and very pretty, however, it isn't heated so the water was very cold. The check-in staff was very knowledgeable. They explained parking and also how to get to area beaches in detail. The suite was roomy. Kitchen has a fridge, a washer and a stove. No oven. There is a nice place to hang clothes outside. The only problem we ran into was all but one of the electrical outlets stopped working. We asked about it at the front desk, and they responded to trip the breakers back, which solved the problem. I would stay here again for sure. It's really nice.

Just an outstanding property. Apartment was extremely spacious and very clean. Weirdly, we stayed in a 2 bed apartment last year which had a washing machine but our 3 bed this year did not (!). Location is perfect. A short 5 minute walk to the supermarket and 5-10 minute walk to the marina and old town which has lots of shops and restaurants. I’d like to specifically mention Amy at the pool bar who was genuinely brilliant throughout our stay. She was so helpful with regards to restaurant recommendations and was such a lovely person to deal with throughout our stay. Overall, Marina Club is just outstanding, we are really looking forward to our next stay. Highly, highly recommended.

We (my wife, my 18-year-old son, and I) had an amazing stay. The one-bedroom apartment was perfect. We didn't pay extra for the pool view room, and that was fine for us. The other side of the hotel was quiet and still had a balcony. The facilities of the hotel and the marina just outside were wonderful, and the old town and all its restaurants and night life were an easy walk. We also drove and there's an easy underground parking facility right under the old city. Beach was a 15- minute walk, and the drive to grotto beaches also easy. Every single employee at the hotel was wonderful and super friendly and when language was not fluid they were patient communicators.

Wonderful quiet apartment by the Marina with everything you would need, large bright and clean with a lovely balcony. Hotel is in a good location away from the noise and busyness of the town, and with a huge grocery store near by. There are also several restaurants and bars in the marina. The hotel is less than a15 minute walk to the old town where there's lot's of restaurants, shops, and bars and action. There is convenient parking across the street. We would stay here again.

Some of the desk staff were a bit rude/unwelcoming, but others were amazing and very helpful.

The Marina is where you want to stay as you can walk out the door and either eat at the immediate quieter restaurants or cross the pedestrian bridge to the heart of it all and join the hustle and bustle. We considered this hotel along with another hotel across from the marina. We chose this hotel because of the kitchen in the room. Huge plus for us! We were traveling with a six year old who is a picky eater. With a grocery store within walking distance we were able to find food he would eat and prepare it in the room. A very nice benefit.

The hotel itself is clean and well kept. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful when we needed assistance. The room staff always made it a point to check in at some point during the day to see if we needed cleaning, sheets, towels, etc. They were considerate and if we were not there they took care of the room for us. I will note, like other reviews, the beds are very firm and the pillows are very thin. The couches in the living room were less hard, but were \"bouncy\" like the old spring-formed mattresses.

The hotel is walkable to the Old Town where there are MANY options for food and souvenirs. There are options closer to the hotel too if you feel like you do not want to walk the 10 minutes to get there. The pool area is perfect for all swimmers; there is a children's pool and a larger pool. The main pool has a zero entry walk in. The \"Infant\" area on the other side of the hotel wing was not operational (no signs posted, but water was emptied from pool and weeds were growing in the cracks).

Very nice hotel and would recommend this to anyone considering staying in Lagos.

Great trip to Lagos at Marina Club Lagos Resort

Our recent stay at the hotel was a fantastic experience overall, making it an excellent choice for a family trip. The location is superb, conveniently close to everything we needed, which made exploring the area a breeze.

The pool area was a highlight for us. It was perfect for our kids, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for them to play and swim. The pool chairs, although often occupied, were incredibly comfortable when we managed to snag one.

However, there are a few areas where the hotel could improve to enhance the guest experience. We noticed that many items typically included in a stay were only available on demand and at an additional cost. Items like coffee capsules and water should be more readily accessible without extra charges, especially in an apartment suite where guests might expect such conveniences. Additionally, the absence of an oven in our suite was a minor inconvenience, as it limited our ability to prepare meals.

Overall, we had a wonderful time and would recommend this hotel, especially for families. With a few adjustments, it could easily reach perfection.

The place was very spacious, quiet and near an amazing grocery store. They only had one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and no paper towels so we had to run out for supplies. There is pretty much no communication here but we figured if all out. Beds are VERY firm.

Excellent hotel. Highly recommend.

Fantastic property, great location by the marina which is beautiful. Lots of great places to eat close by. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Towels supplied by hotel for beach and pool which was brilliant. Drinks at bar were very well priced. Rooms were spotless. Can’t fault this place, would highly recommend. Close to old town Lagos also which is full of shops and restaurants. Beach about 10 minute walk away.

Amazing hotel it's our 3rd visit here staff are super friendly rooms a massive it's a great location.. It was my partners birthday while we were there and the left her a bottle of bubbly in the room with a card was a great touch!!!!

This hotel was very nice and in a fantastic location! Right on the marina and walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach! I would’ve given it 5 stars but the a/c went out and the room was hot. The fridge and tv didn’t work - not sure if the problem was all related. But the staff was very accommodating and friendly. They provided fans and with the balcony doors open the room cooled off at night.
