Was quite disappointed. Price low and good reviews so i booked but would not return. Rooms do not lock. Other travellers not considerate of others and no staff around at night to notice and deal with issues. (i.e. smoking in shared bathroom, drunk male returning middle of night, etc)

Lounge area consists of a couch (sofa) in the kitchen area.
Very near to tourist areas so location good.

Clean rooms, the kitchen has everything you need except a cutting board, and the staff are all super. We have stayed four times this past year and will keep going back.

Got what we paid for, for the most part. No parking on premises even though it said they had free parking. Had to park 1 mile plus away (uphill!). Private room did have a wonderful private terrace, but watch your head if you’re over 5’10’. I scalped myself pretty good! Location was good. Close to everything Lagos has to offer. Very walkable to all the shops, restaurants, bars, beeches, boat tours, etc.

This was a great place to stay. The location is perfect, the rooms were clean and spacious, and use of a kitchen is a nice bonus.

Hot water is a bit hit or miss but it works well once you figure it out.

Wasn't expecting much.formthe price but wow, great surprise. Had a large room for 2 on top floor. Well.equippedwith air con heater and hairdryer..so much space and large terrace. Staff all very helpful and super friendly. Could leave bags before check in. Would've stayed extra night but booked. Only.negative was the.hot water ran out despite me having a super fast shower. 2 nights in a row. Would stay again.

Great location, nice staff, clean room

Location was great. Right in the middle of the city center, 15min walk to popular beaches, 20min walk to train station. The place was old but it is in an old area so it was to be expected. I had a twin room to myself and it was in the top floor and it had a balcony. Pretty good! Staff was friendly. Had an issue with a key for one of the doors and someone came within 10mins to help me (outside business hours). Only thing is that the water is heated with solar panels and during a 5min shower the water went cold. All in all highly recommend!

More of a hotel than a hostel, no elevator and they could use a handle on the inside of the door instead of a tiny latch that you can barely grab. Overall an alright stay. Large room with a nice balcony.

Such a simple and wholesome hostel. A classic hostel stay. The room was spacious for 6 people. Theres only one bathroom for 10 people. The room is cleaned daily. Theres a mini kitchen and fridge to store food. The hostel is right near the city center. Theres so many fun things to do in this area like salsa at Guanabana, night out with good music at the Tavern, karaoke near the city center. Beach/ Algarves are a 10 min walk away. Id stay again! Staff was super nice and helpful

Great room, great location, easy to walk everywhere. It was advertised as parking on site. There is no parking. Almost impossible to find in the streets. I had to pay to use a parking garage. Other than that it was great.

Great little hostel in great location.

Location is perfect.
Staff is very welcoming and friendly.
There’s valet parking for €4/day next door.
Great cafes and restaurant next door.
Would recommended if you’re travelling on a budget.

This is a basic hostel that incorrectly advertises its Seperate units with bathroom. These were advertised with balcony, kitchen and dining , city views and parking and pool . We had no balcony and faced a backstreet that people looked in directly to the room. Parking was on the street, look for your own and maybe get one close by. The kitchen was shared with a number of people. No pool what so ever We had a bathroom and kitchen next to us anda conversation pit below so the noise was extra loud with nil sound proofing. The bed may as well have been in the street. You expect some noise in a hostel but this room was excessive. The cost was very high compared to the other rooms. To round it off we found at least 6 dirty cut toenails around the floor and the tv stopped on the last night. The staff were very nice and the location is handy and would’ve been ok as a basic hostel. We have stayed in a number of hostels travelling the Camino and this would be worse than anything we came across. Pedro needs to review the advertisement and correct it. Do not stay here unless you are looking for a basic hostel.

Really good Hostel, Great Location! I LOVED Lagos, great Beach vibe and City! I felt very safe. Lots of Local Entertainment in the Big Square. I liked No hassling from the vendors.
However if you like to swim..the water was brrrr...cold, even on a HOT day, not Refreshing But Cold! I was surprised by that!

Disappointing stay.

Good location and friendly staff but the positives end there. Room smelt very damp and musty without any air fresheners to mask this or a powerful enough extractor fan to deal with this. One of the bedside lamps was not plugged in and there were only two plug sockets (one for each light but none for guest appliances/chargers). The room looked onto the communal patio and was not double glazed so was very noisy at night.

We had a great stay in a private room at the hostel. The room was impeccably clean and tidy. The room and bathroom were very modern and dry which made our stay very comfortable. The private room was on par with a 2-3 star hotel so we were thoroughly impressed! The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was perfect.

Amazing location right by all the bars but you can't hear them at all at night which was perfect. Close to beaches, shops. Not a bad walk from train or bus also. Great wifi

Really warm welcome and location. 20 min from train, 10 from the bus.
Spacious w balcony, great price.. Can't beat that and a kitchen to make your own food. Although not very social.

Felt like home!

Amazing location! 5 minute walk from the prettiest beaches in all of Lagos! Staff was extremely helpful and nice and the place was impeccably clean (everyday all of the floors are mopped and even the occupied dorm beds are made). After three nights, extended my stay another 3. What a wonderful time!

clean comfy hostel in Lagos town centre

very nice hostal right in old town centre. we had a triple room on top - third floor with a private bathroom and private balcony with a shared kitchen lounge room. Room was pretty small but adequate and was lovely and sunny opening on to private balcony. A bonus wad free washing machine in kitchen and clothes drying rack on balcony. A short stroll rook us too all the restaurants bars and shops. No parking at hostal but a garage was almost next door not sure how much it cost as we found street parking 100 metres away. very clean and very reasonably priced for the location.

Op zich was alles in orde maar ons warm water werkte niet... Het alternatief was om beneden te douchen bij de gedeelde kamers, maar we betalen natuurlijk voor een aparte badkamer. Er werd gezegd dat het ging beteren omdat het met het weer zou te maken hebben, de laatste dag hadden we 2 minuten warm water.

La Guest House é vicinissima al centro é provvista di una cucina!! Non do 5 stelle perché la prima notte ho dovuto cercare un'altra sistemazione poiché sono arrivato oltre l'orario del check in, dovrebbe secondo me come in altre strutture dove sono stato se un ospite non si fa vedere entro le 22.30 dare le coordinate via email per sbloccare la chiave dell'accesso alla Guest House!

Lagos c'est côté soleil, et sérénité garantie, de l'Algarve !
Hébergement correct pour un court séjour.
1Douche et toilette pour deux dortoirs(6+4), mais la gestion du temps doit être le maître du bon voyageur.
Hors saison, se perdre dans les petites ruelles à la découverte d'un ville bien agréable...
(Côté supermarket, 500m de la station de bus LIDL, et Pingo Doce, hors enceinte vers SPAR, banco Montepio)
