Walkway to rooms look dated. Waiting time for the lift also very long, especially during check out time. Other than that, room is clean, spacious and comfy. Rooftop pool very breezy with nice view. Breakfast selection is good too!

Convenient location as there is a shopping mall, with choices of eateries & restaurants nearby. Also there is a supermarket at shopping mall & convenience stores too.
Room is of reasonable size & clean. Just take note that some rooms are windowless so for those who has a phobia, better to book the rooms with windows.
Internat is okay. Transport by cars, taxis or grab since no MRT station nearby.

The room stay was fine however the ants were a headache. This is the first hotel that i've stayed whereby ants atacked. The room were of a resonable comfort.

I had an incredibly disappointing and distressing experience during my stay. At around 7 PM, amidst heavy rain, I thought I had lost my mobile phone after alighting from the car. Panicked, I approached the guard on duty to request assistance in reviewing the CCTV footage. To my shock, the guard refused to help and walked away without even acknowledging my request.

While I was still trying to seek assistance and followed the guard into the lift, a male hotel guest standing next to the guard suddenly yelled at me, aggressively shouting, “Shut up!” and “Get out!” His behavior was threatening, as if he might physically attack me at any moment. Apparently, he assumed I was cutting the queue, though I was completely unaware that the guard was attending to his request at the time.

What made this ordeal worse was the guard’s reaction—or lack thereof. He stood by silently, doing nothing to address the escalating situation or to de-escalate the harassment I was facing in the lift. His inaction not only made me feel unsafe but also left me questioning the professionalism and basic courtesy of the staff.

All I needed was reassurance that the guard would assist me later, but instead, I was left feeling vulnerable and unsupported. This experience has significantly marred my perception of the hotel’s service and safety standards. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and implements proper training for staff to handle such situations appropriately.

Improving for a better stay

Look it's a beautiful property but needs maintenance especially the carpet area of the residences. All rooms too. The bathroom water pipe should be placed in a different location for easy access. No bar for the elderly or handicapped. Very dangerous when you take a bath. And when you use the toilet area.
Towels are worn out and torn at times
Can be rough to use.
We pay you good money we are loyal and keep coming back so you as a hotel can improve. Please do so while you have people.

I checked in close to 11pm. Chose the hotel as there was a King/Queen bed option instead they gave me a double single. I was pretty annoyed at this time already.

The next morning I came to speak to the duty manager about what I booked was not what I got. Told her I'd like to cancel my 2nd night. She said no cancellable. Ends there. I asked her if there is no service recovery. She then offered me a suite, but it was on the 3rd floor facing the side of another building. It was too late and wasn't good enough.

Overall, staff are not service oriented. They're not warm and accomodating like many other hotels. Felt like I was talking to a corporate office staff instead of duty manager of a hotel.

Rooms views are crappy. Mine faced a condo. Some rooms apparently face the side of another building.

The corridors are like a maze. Rooms are on the small side. Otherwise quite standard, clearly not 1 of the better 4 star hotels around

This is my fourth time staycationing in Dorsett Hartamas and I keep coming back because of its reasonably cheap price for a room with a huge bathtub! The bed is super comfy and the location is convenient! It’s near to Publika and right next to Hartamas Shopping Mall so you have a lot of shops and restaurants to choose from (you can dine in or order in via Grab/foodpanda) the staff is always excellent, smooth checking in and out.

What I didn’t like though was the smell of the room when I first checked in, perhaps its the carpet that absorbed the cigarette smell. The bathtub was also leaking which made us worry for a bit that the water would flood the room but thank God it didn’t, it flowed straight to the drain next to the toilet.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay as always, but there is also room for improvement :)

Can smell cigarette in the room and no free parkin

Booked for 2 nights. Once checked in to the room, we could smell cigarette in the bathroom. Someone was smoking in other rooms and the smell travelled through the ventilation.

Dorsett should strictly impose no smoking in the rooms for all guests. We requested to change room. But we were bitten by insects in the night. Not sure if it is bed bugs or mozzies.

Other than the view of the 27th floor, i guess we wont be staying at this hotel again. Parking is also not free and cost 3.71rm per entrance.

the exterior and rooftop was amazing.

insidethe corridor is small, room considerably huge from inside.

too bad no windows and thesound proofing was not so good.

door was noisy. lift was slow and long. only 2 lift and have to wait a long time serving 28 floors.

check in was crazy busy. 4 counters with 4 line queing.

must be a favourite destination for the locals.took 30min to check in.

nearby is a mall and restaurant.
need car to go there else will be troublesome.

Should indicate in red color or bold it.

Then, Hotel.com should work out something like Agoda to able make booking without payment, as I'm having issues of payment can't get processed because of OTP send by bank to original country phone number while I've changed to another phone number due to roaming fees.

Worse hotel stay from start to end. 1)Bell men rather chit-chat with each other then welcome guest into the lobby, when I inquired about the carpark he just pointed to a direction outside the door. Didn’t seem to either understand English & Malay. 2)Requested for a double/queen bed during booking, request was unavailable during check-in. Was told by front desk to either take 2 single beds combined together or request a refund at 10pm! As “I’ve booked the cheapest room”. Front desk didn’t offer any solution or suggest a paid upgrade. 2)Front desk was adamant there wasn’t a gap between beds but there was a very noticeable gap. 3)Shower had black stains in between tiles. 4)To our absolute horror upon getting into bed we discovered the linen was absolutely disgusting!! There were Blood Spots, Yellow/Brown circles, Black stains on pillows & duvet, rips and tears, hair in between sheets! Thankfully we had our travel blankets which were used over the sheets. Guess this is the standard of the “cheapest room” in Dorsett. Housekeeping is definitely not doing their job and management is absolutely sleeping on the job! It’s unbelievable that hygiene lapses like these are allowed to happen during a pandemic!

The only thing I like was the bathtub and Breakfast is nice; there is only 2 lifts to access 27 floors include parking hence waiting time is long; amenities is not complete in room e.g. no floor mat, only 1 bath towel etc. Check in speed is slow; 11am a staff came and knocking non stop on the door even I have put a DND note c/out is at 12. He was asking if we need extend which is not require to; bed and pillow is not comfortable

The Front office Manager is Great name Ivan and is very helpful .Cleanliness of Room is very important . Please do fully equipped such like room slippers, cutlery such like tea spoons , hand towels and laundry plastic bag as well.Such a four stars hotel not prepare for this.

Parking instructions in email was outdated. No clear signs to parking at property. Rooms had stale smoke smell, even after changing rooms. Towels also had smoke smell. Staff tried masking smell with air freshener, didn't work after a while. Leaky shower head, hair blower (not dryer) that took ages to dry hair. Otherwise very clean rooms and sheets. Staff did their best to make up for shortcomings; courteous and quick to action. Very happy with the service. Convenient location to the MATRADE and government registrar office. Italian restaurant round the corner must try.

Arrived at hotel only to hear that there will be no Television channels available. Was \"upgraded\" to a suite due rooms being fully booked, but didn't have bathtub that I booked for. Roof swimming pool was also not available.

didn’t gave us the 4-star experience in term of hotel room and service. Checked in to room without window when we specifically asked for it; no slipper, laundry bags and aircond thermostat showing air filter needs service. Our 2-night stay wasn’t pleasant as the aircond was hot and noisy on the 1st night, and super cold on 2nd night. Didn’t bother to complaint as the service staff didn’t seem to care.
