The public areas of this hotel are impressive — the rooftop pool, bar, lobby and restaurant all have a premium feel that sets expectations high. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout my stay. However, the rooms tell a different story. While everything you need is there — good shower pressure, towels, a fully equipped kitchen — the overall look and feel is quite basic and underwhelming. It reminded me more of a budget hotel chain than a Hyatt property. I also requested a high floor but was given one of the lowest, which was disappointing given the building's height and the views on offer. Worth noting too that elevator noise was noticeable from my room despite being some distance from the shaft — you could hear the muted rumble of lifts moving up and down the building. A solid option for the facilities and service, but don't expect the room itself to wow you.

The room had plenty of space, was modern, and clean. We had a great view. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, and included a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The staff was all very professional and attentive. The hotel offered a lot of amenities like a gym, pools, and a game room, in addition to a bar and restaurant. The location was great- there is a ton of shopping and dining options in the area.

The room was good but the bathroom was very small. The housekeeping staff refused to give a proper blanket for the sofa bed for the first night though I got it for the second night on requesting at the reception. The location is very nice and there are some eateries right outside the hotel.

Special thanks to Dyta and Miswar at the breakfast. They were really kind and hospitable and friendly with my children. The breakfast spread was also good. The games room had a pool table and fussball table along with some board games. . Overall very satisfied with my stay.

This hotel was fine for a couple of nights stay - wouldn't not recommend purchasing breakfast though as many options better quality and local to the hotel. The hotel breakfast was very disappointing and even though we paid for 3 days breakfast we only went 1 day for breakfast as it was not good. Otherwise the hotel was safe, quiet, clean and in good location.

The staff were extremely unhelpful and very stubborn. Had to ask twice or thrice every day to get the room cleaned up and the reception staff were always unresponsive. Noone picked up the phone whenever we called reception. Poor poor service.

The stay was ok except that we only knew if the swimming pool not available during our stay only when we got into the room and saw the note. Spoke to the front desk for supervisor but didn’t come back to us. It was a holiday so we could have gone to another hotel with a swimming pool.

Overall is good but you need to pay for parking, a flat rate of RM12 above 6 hours. Do not expect this with the price of the room. If not wrong, even housekeeping needs to charge. Their concept is like AirAsia if you know what I mean.

Room was big and nice but the parking was really lousy. You go up a different lift to another part of the building and if its raining you get wet. And parking isnt covered even this kind of hotel price.

This is my worst and scariest hotel stay. I went alone to check-in to a twin bed studio.

The front desk staff, Mr Conrad was neither friendly nor courteous and made several crucial mistakes.

1. Other guest (Mr Tan) were wrongly checked-in under my name earlier and then I was wrongly checked-in under other guest’s name, Mr Tan. How could that happened when i provided them both my NRIC and Expedia booking number

2. Wrongly assigned me to a room which is already occupied. I entered the room using the keycard provided and resulted in me being angrily shouted by an Indian man occupying the room with a lady that time. I was in great shock and my heart was palpitating all the way. Btw, this is a 1 bedroom suite, and not studio that i booked.

3. Next, he assigned me to a wrong room again, a 2-bedrooms suite. So got to be reassigned to another room

4. For the 3rd room, it was a king-sized bed studio instead of twin bed suite that I booked. Anyway, I accepted the room.

5. There was no other guest checking-in that time, but with all these mistakes, it took 45min for me to get a room and another 15min to get the 2nd room key for my roommate

6. And that night, my roommate couldn’t enter using the 2nd key when I was not around. So inconvenient.

In conclusion, the hotel & room conditions are good and clean. But the staff’s services were really inefficient and it had not only caused inconvenient but also compromised the guest’s data & physical security as well as privacy.

Had a great pleasant stay. Location was superb, very convenient to restaurants, groceries. Most staffs were friendly. Room was cleaned and comfy bed. Good housekeeping service.

The breakfast I have to say is very disappointing. We have stayed here before covid hit and loved their breakfast then, however this time, their breakfast was very average and it kept repeating the same menu for every single day I was there for the next 16 nights. I felt like if they can provide hot meals such as noodles and rice porridge, I believe they can also offered other hot dishes as alternative especially for us guests that are there for longer than a week stay.

Located in the heart of Mont Kiara, this gem is walking distance to many of the eateries in the area. The rooms are spacious, modern, clean and airy. Fit for a family staycation / extended stay.

Due to COVID, breakfast service is limited but guests are allowed to pack breakfast in to-go boxes to be enjoyed in the room. Staff are friendly and the GM of the Property, Bennett Peter takes pride in making sure each guest is treated well and is able to experience the Hyatt family hospitality!

Follow through from reservation to end of stay follow up is impressive! Thank you Hyatt Family for being a gem to the Mont Kiara community!
