Blood stain on bedspread. No housekeeping to change beds. We had to remove blood stain spread ourselves. Only gave a top sheet and blanket to make our own bed.Daughter was locked in restroom. She did not lock it herself. We had to call front desk to get her out. No maintenance was available to fix door from locking again.

The location was perfect. We had a small situation with the room key entry but the management handled it wonderfully. We were locked out for 45 minutes but the hotel management and employees did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable while waiting for it to be opened up for us. Most definitely will return. Also must try Crust and craft for lunch or dinner. Best pizza I've had in a while. And amazing service

We got down to the breakfast room a few mins before 9 and the staff was already cleaning it up. My family of 6 was actually excited about it as they usually can get they a they want. We grabbed a couple things as they continued to clean up. They didn’t wait for us to grab much. Put it on carts and rolled it away as soon as grabbed minimal items. The waffle maker was also broken. I do feel the staff couldve at least waited while we got some breakfast then continued there normal routines.

Very disappointing. Booked our room several months in advance for a Keith Urban concert as we live 4+ hours away. Unfortunately, the concert was cancelled last minute and we needed to cancel our trip. Much to our surprise our room was a \"non-refundable\" rate (which I did not realize) and the AGM (Brittany) refused to budge and refund or credit us for a future stay once the concert was rescheduled.
We are a couple of senior women from a church widows support group that love to get out and do a bit of traveling a to listen to some music to pass the time. It's a sad shame that The Hyatt Place Greenville Downtown couldn't make an exception, considering the extenuating circumstances. So unfortunately we had to lose the nearly $300 we spent on the room. Not a good look Hyatt.

It was very annoying to be disturbed before 8am to the sound of what seemed like a disco/rap concert. The walls and lights in our room on the 3rd floor were vibrating!!! Overall, a wonderful room in a nice location. Greenville is awesome! One drawback, and this seems to be a problem across almost all hotels. Thermostat control. Making the room warmer was almost impossible. Finally, I inadvertently turned the fan off, and that was good enough for me.

If they are not going to install easy-to-use thermostats, then they could at least provide clear instructions, or a link to a YouTube video about it.

Overall, the property was clean and well maintained. The cleaning staff were a bit unfriendly and they do not follow instructions. My wife and I clearly left a do not disturb sign on our door, the day after we arrived. We went out for a few hours and our room was entered by the cleaning staff. Also, the following day, we said hello to a member of the cleaning team in the hallway, and she heard us but did not respond or acknowledge us. I’m not sure if I’d stay there again for these reasons.

Don’t waste your money

The elevators were out when we arrived on Saturday and were out this morning when we were checking out. We had to lug our belongings down 4 flights of stairs x2. Not worth the money at all. The rooms were subpar, the electrical outlets didn’t work, house cleaning didn’t come to our room.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The valet parking was convenient and friendly. The downside- elevator wasn’t working and we were on the 6th floor. It wasn’t very quiet. We were awoken by people coming in late and talking while walking to their rooms. Some of the staff were quite friendly while others not so much.
