On arrival we could not access the property or get a hold of the manager. Once we eventually made it through the gate and made contact with someone just to learn they weren’t expecting us and due to confusion had given our room away.
After this they were willing to accommodate us but it would have involved moving another couple out of the room & cleaning. We were provided with an alternate plan staying in a neighbouring bed & breakfast, which we agreed to to save hassle after a long travel day.
We still parked and had breakfast at Villa Iolanda which was just fine.

Decent stay, convenient location
The host was very welcoming, and check in was easy. Villa Iolanda is conveniently located a block from the Piano di Sorrento train station. The included breakfast was lovely and a great way to start the day. Our room was a basic one, and was very moist. The bathroom had mold on the walls and the window almost needed to stay open to air the room out, despite the temperature. The shower was comfortable, however the bed in our room was not.

An oasis in a crazy town. You park in a gated courtyard right next to the building with a lovely garden and landscaping. Breakfasts were awesome with fresh from the garden tomatoes and guava, fresh baking and option for omelettes or scrambled eggs, etc. we had an issue with our A/C dripping. They provided a basin for it to drip into - not great. Finally moved us to a diff room after our insistence. Our bed was comfortable but the people we were travelling with had a super hard bed in their room - like sleeping on plywood. Need to be prepared to walk lots or drive with difficulty finding parking - that’s just Sorrento. Not much in the immediate area for restaurants or shops. Overall very good place to stay if you have a car. Be prepared to take taxis or walk a lot to get anywhere.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay here, I wish we had stayed longer! Everything was clean and spacious, everyone there was so kind and helpful, it’s an easy walk from the train station, and it made a great home base to pop to Sorrento, Pompeii, the beach etc… and the breakfasts were absolutely fantastic!

Villa Iolanda is an absolutely gorgeous B&B run by an even more wonderful family. We loved the breakfast option in the morning and absolutely beautiful property. Located close to the train, it was very easy to get around Sorrento and enjoy the city. Thank you to Salvatore for being so accommodating, especially with our delayed arrival and for being a super gracious host. We hope to stay again on our next trip to Sorrento!

I would recommend staying at this lovely lovely little complex. I received a whats app message from Salvatore on day of arrival who advised what exact train stop to get off at and he welcomed us when we arrived. Our room was lovely and breakfast was great. Unfortunately my case did not make it and I needed clothes and he was helpful in sending links of local shops where I could buy essentials. We had to go back the airport to collect case mid way through holiday and he made sure when we got back there was breakfast items in our room. Piano itself is quiet with a few restaurants which were good. Sorrento was two train stops away. £4 return so that was nice and cheap. Parking is available if you have a car at the villa’s which is also good. I would most certain return here to this lovely little facility. All staff we met were helpful and happy to help Thank you for making our trip so good.

Lovely stay at this quaint b and b in the middle of Piano di Sorrento. Conveniently located by the train station and buses as well as grocery store, laundromat, restaurants etc. we stayed 5 days and really enjoyed it. The breakfast was very nice with freshly squeezed juice and omelettes (however the first. 2 days we were not made aware of this option, so we had to eat sugary cakes...) there is also a private patio outside where we ate dinners sometimes. We didn't make use of it, but there was also parking which I would imagine is very helpful

If your room is in the second floor bear in mind there are 30 stairs to climb. Notice that there is no shade to prevent the light enter the room early in the morning. Our room had serious drainage issue which wasn't solved until we left. Otherwise, Salvatore and his parents are real nice people who are very hospitable!

Overall it was a nice place, couple minor issues were that the breakfast starts at 8:00 am we needed to check out at 7:30 to catch our flight but the host refused to serve the breakfast before 8:00.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Iolanda. Breakfast was.fantasric with homemade cakes, freshly squeezed orange juice, crostinis, coffee, and fresh eggs made to order. We were able to add the son on WhatsApp and he helped us with information on the train, supermarket, and beach shuttle. Their little Frenchie is absolutely adorable! The room was very comfortable, clean, and spacious with a nice balcony to watch the sunsets. The Villa is gated, so you geely safe leaving your belongings if you are gone for the day. We would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend Piano di Sorrento over Sorrento for more of a rustic vacation. Much more affordable than Sorrento, walkable, the main streets aren't as busy and we felt very safe at all times of the day and night.

Best Sstay we had in all of Italy! Beautiful hotel and family! The breakfast was amazing! The room and view was beautiful and our hosts made us feel like family. I will definitely recommend you stay here! The train station Piano is a short walk and will take you to Sorrento port where you can buy ferry tickets to Amalfi, Capri Positano and Napoli. Great stay for our needs. Salvatore was an excellent host and went above and beyond to help us be comfortable. Wonderful breakfast, offered us made to order items. It was great to have parking available in their villa. An overall excellent place!

fantastic room, very clean and tidy. Room was nicely decorated. The bed was memory foam and was very comfortable, we slept extremely well. There was air con hot and cold so you could adjust the temperature. A very well located and comfortable stay, highly recommend to stay out of Sorrento main town if you are driving as this place has parking and is 2 minutes walk to the train. The train costs 1.3 euro each way into sorrento main town in 5 minutes.

Excellent location for visiting the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. The family which owns Villa Iolanda are very friendly and anxious to be of help while respecting our privacy at the same time. A very generous breakfast was offered each morning which included many homemade cakes and vegetables from their garden.

We had such a lovely stay at Villa Iolanda! The room was clean and stylish and Salvatore was always available to help and offered lots of great local tips and restaurant recommendations. Amazing, so much to see. Accommodation clean and in excellent condition. Salvador and Theresa were the perfect host, nothing a problem, good recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. Out of Sorrento, more of a residential town with small port and beach, not busy, but one road from train station, only two stops from Sorrento town centre with bars,shops and restaurants. If you prefer to experience the buzz of Sorrento with the combination of a quieter feel resort, these apartments are the perfect base.

This beautiful villa with great views is situated in a quiet neighborhood just a few short train stops from Sorrento. Salvatore and his Mother were fantastic hosts, serving great breakfasts right to our room! The nearby Antica Cantina is certainly one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been to! The hotel is family owned and operated, and they really go out of their way to make you feel at home! The gated courtyard has a lovely garden, and offers easy parking.

The villa is ideally located, in a residential area, two train stops away from Sorrento (approx a 5 min train journey) and the train station itself is 5 mins away (but there is absolutely no sound of trains from the villa).
Piano di Sorrento is a quiet suburb, relative to Sorrento, but has a number of shops and some great restaurants within a 5-10 min walk.
It was a great base to travel on day trips to Positano, Amalfi, Capri, Pompeii, Vesuvius and Herculaneum without the need to rent a car. (Coach trips start from Sorrento.)
The villa itself (with 4 bedrooms) is only two years old and is well appointed. Rooms were cleaned, towels replaced and beds made, every day, The room was light and airy and it was nice to have a balcony to sit out on (there was also a nice communal outside terrace).
Included in the price is parking, which is handy if you are renting a car ( the villa is in a gated area.)
The breakfast (included in the price) is fantastic and really sets you up for the day. As well as a choice of cereals, yoghurts, rolls, hams and cheese, there was a selection of homemade cakes/pastries - Teresa makes wonderful cakes (she should really open a bakery)!!!

We could not have asked for anything better. Terese and Salvetorie were kind and very helpful. Breakfast was varied and always more than enough. We cannot recommend it highly enough. This is the standard all hotels should aspire to.
