I did a week Birthday trip to the Amalfi coast and Sorrento was my first stop during my trip. Emilia was super helpful and made my stay very comfortable, easy and convenient. Check- in was quick and simple. She setup the Vespa rentals for me and my sister, got us booked on a private Boat day tour to Capri, and had our transportation set when we left to head to Amalfi.

The location is convenient. Right down the hill from the hotel you can catch the bus to Sorrento which is only like a 5 minute ride to the center or you can walk to the train station which is only about a 10 minute walk but we mainly took the bus because it was closer and quicker honestly. Bus was only 1.50 euros per person and yes, you can pay the driver when you step on the bus and he will give you change if you have larger bills.

Definitely will be staying here again if I’m back in Sorrento 10/10

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Il Palmento Relais. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good each day. The area is nice and quiet just outside of Sorrento without the high prices. We will definitely be back.
We also ate at the restaurant on two nights and both nights it was excellent. Guests receive a 10% discount at the restaurant so it's definitely worth trying.

We had a wonderful memorable stay. We stayed for 10 days and room was kept clean everyday. From the moment we arrived we were thoroughly assisted, even went out of her way to contact someone at the airport since we had lost a cellphone which we eventually found back at the airport thankfully due to some honest people in Italy. The grounds are small but beautifully maintained and restaurant had delicious food. Only thing I’d say is if you want to take the bus to Positano or Amalfi, you are better off walking 15 minutes to train station a few stops to Sorrento where the first stop of buses heading there are and buy 2 way tickets, since fully packed buses won’t stop in the area of Piano di Sorrento and make sure to have internet access on your phone to use google maps.

I’d stay again!

This B&B type stay was amazing! At first, I discovered it wasn’t right in Sorrento (it looked closer on the map than it really is), but is 2 “towns” over, totally my fault, but then once I headed into Sorrento proper and it was sooo crowded, I was happy to be in a little quieter locale. The service was fantastic, from the proprietor herself to the morning breakfast person and the evening restaurant waitstaff. The place was spotless and cleaned every day. I didn’t realize I had a huge terrace off my room. There is no elevator, but Emilia was super helpful to carry one of my bags up. I’d def stay agai. If I came back.

Clean, comfortable and very friendly.

Lovely place to stay, it was a short drive from Sorrento so having a car for the stay was definitely necessary. Parking was free and made better by having a location, provided by the hotel to park in Sorrento town centre for free too. The accommodation was clean and well decorated.

This is a good, small family run hotel close to the centre of Piano di Sorrento with good train and bus connections to Sorrento and Naples/Pompeii nearby. It has clean rooms, comfy beds and a nice terrace with a continental breakfast. The road outside can be a little noisy with the windows open but there is air-con.

We went here for our honeymoon and had the best experience. The staff were all so friendly. They allowed us to check in an hour early. Erica at the reception desk was outstanding in providing customer servuce to us. She took the time to help us book all our excursions and gave good reccomends of the area. She also arranged for us to get a taxi at 4am to catch our flight in the esrly morning. Try the restauarant at the hotel the food was some of the best we had in Sorrento! The location is about a 35 minute walk to the center of Sorrento but we found so many other local restaurants for a lower cost in Pianno di Sorento which is the area the hotel is located in. We would come back again just for the hospitality!

We booked the triple room, a penthouse on the top floor. Its very spacious plus an oversized rooftop terrace, with nice moutain view and city view. Price reasonable and competitive. Breakfast included. Wifi strong.
Across the front street there is a supermarket where you can get prrety much evrything a tourist may need.
This property is very suitable for parking a car if you visit Rorrento by driving a car.
The front desk servicw agent Erica is a very nice person, she speaks English very well and very experienced with helping international tourists to find the best sightseeing tours, we booked two of them thru her, 100% satisfaction, and she is from Sorrento we can tell how deeply she lives her hometown Sorrento, and she works hard and passionately to help visitors. When we departure to bus stop for Napoli airport, she even helped us carrying our luggage all the way to the bus stop several hundred meteres away.
She and the cleanung lady were both very eager to help us to bring our luggage up to our room when we check in, and down to the ground floor when we check out.

We strongly, 5 of 5 star, recommend to stay here at this property for touring Sorrento, Capri, Amalfi coast, Pompii, and local shoooing streets.

We would have like to have a hot pot and some instant coffee and tea in the room. The room was clean but very stark - no pictures, etc. We can't say enough good things about Ericka - she helped with arranging tours and getting us to our next hotel. She is a gem.

This hotel was fantastic. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and respectful. Nothing was too much. Breakfast offered as part of t he package was also very good. Position of the hotel was great. Close to everything, easpecially Sorrento central. We will stay here again if ever we go back to Sorrento.

Great hotel for family stay.

Clean & comfortable with efficient daily room cleaning. Lovely restaurant for breakfast provided, we also had dinner there - good meal! Location - 40 mins walk to town or 10-min bus ride (can become 30 mins if morning jam). Enjoyed the stay.

Nice hotel in piano. Large spacious room and wonderful staff. Short drive into sorrento. We had our own terrace with sunny afternoons. It is on the main road so there is traffic noise.

Absolutely fantastic and friendly staff.

There were five of us, three adults and two children and we had the two rooms on the first floor they were lovely clean and spacious with big comfortable beds. Although the location is situated on a busy main road it was still quite restful and the hotel very handy for travelling into Sorrento and surrounding towns and places of interest.

'Piano' with the keys to happiness !!

We were in Italy for my godson's wedding , wanted to stay a little out of 'busy' Sorrento and could not possibly have chosen a better location than Piano Di Sorrento. Starting with Il Palmento Relais , a very small 'boutique' Hotel with homely charm, great 'in-room' facilities, lovely grounds and setting, superb on-site restaurant and unbelievably helpful and friendly staff ! Emilia and Lucia could not possibly have done enough to help us, make us feel welcome and safe and to make our stay there so memorable ! There is so much to do in Piano itself, without the requirement to go into Sorrento ! There are plenty great shops, restaurants and bars, wonderful clean streets, side-streets and squares. We enjoyed walking around just off the busy main street - the ' Corso Italia' and taking in the numerous opportunities to shop, eat or just sit and relax ! There is a regular bus service into and returning from Sorrento - around every twenty minutes from the small square which sits only five minutes at the bottom of the street from the Hotel Relais. Tickets at 1.5 euros per trip can be bought from the small bar opposite the bus stop in the square. Remember to validate then on board the bus using the ticket machine on the bus itself ! N.B. AVOID using taxis unless you absolutely must or are a recent lottery winner ! They are very expensive - around 20 euros per kilometre !
We had a truly wonderful experience, a very comfortable stay and a most relaxing break !

El lugar es muy bonito la atención es excelente

Lo único es que para ir al centro de Sorrento es retirado
Ojala pudieran implementar un Shuttle para ir al centro con horarios o un convenio con un auto que regrese a la gente del centro ya que el camión esta super lleno y los taxis muy caros
Pero si llevas auto o moto excelente opción

Quiero manifestar mi insatisfacción con la experiencia vivida durante mi estadía en su establecimiento, realizada entre los días 6 de julio 2025 y 9 de julio 2025, en el hotel II Palmento Relais.

Desde el inicio de mi visita se presentaron diversos inconvenientes que afectaron significativamente mi confort y bienestar. Entre los problemas más relevantes se encuentran:

No se encuentra el personal para recibirte a tu llegada y poder hacer tu check in , como en cualquier otro hotel.ademas de no contar con elevador y tener que subir nuestras propias maletas, ya que no tienen personal que te ayude, siendo varias las escaleras, pésimo trato.

El aire acondicionado no funcionaba adecuadamente, hacia mucho ruido.
Para ir a Sorrento,requieres taxi y no es tan fácil conseguir, Emilia solo te pasa el contacto de una persona y ya tu tendrás que ver si lo consigues o no, en nuestro caso tuvimos que caminar para bajar a Sorrento y veníamos con mi mama de 75 años.
El servicio de atención al cliente fue poco cordial y no ofreció soluciones efectivas.
Se me prometió un servicio con vista al jardín con el cual no cuenta el hotel.
Considero que estos hechos no se corresponden con el nivel de calidad y servicio que ustedes promocionan ni con lo que se espera al pagar por una estadía en su establecimiento. Esta situación no solo me generó incomodidad, sino que también arruinó parte de mi viaje.
Jamás me volvería a hospedar ahí.

Incrível experiência. A começar pelo atendimento extremamente simpático da Emilia e da Maria, ambas sempre muito gentis e merecem todo o reconhecimento pelo ótimo trabalho. O quarto que ficamos foi o roxo, bom tamanho, cama confortável, banheiro que também atendeu o proposto. Café da manhã simples, mas sempre preparado com muito zelo e cuidado. Por fim, tem um restaurante junto ao hotel que também é preciso destacar, comida sensacional. Em conclusão, uma das melhores hospedagens que ficamos em nossa viagem pela Itália.

I was staying for 3-nights with a nice view terrace at roof. There is very clean and tidy (I saw a lady to clean a room very hard including floor and toilet).

I was worried there is no parking space at the beginning, but there is very nice to providing a private car park for each room.

My experience in other hotels (either in Italy or other country), the Internet wifi is slow or poor connection (like 2G/3G for mobile) but I can found the connection is excellent with high speed (like 4G for mobile), which is very important for me to search travel information for next city and google map.
