This hotel was the favorite of our trip! It’s a beautiful little hotel in a great location. It’s close to several delicious restaurants and buses/ trains. The breakfast every morning was a great variety and the people working there made us feel right at home! Delicious cappuccinos, too! Would love to stay here again!

We were enthusiastically greeted at the door by Marco. He made us feel like we were being welcomed into his home. He stored our luggage for us since we arrived before the check in time. He gave us great recommendations for dinner. He also greeted us in the morning when we arrived for a wonderful breakfast.
Hotel was very clean and in a safe neighborhood. We were able to walk to many restaurants and also to the train station the next morning. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family!

We were greeted wonderfully by the hotel manager Marco and the staff. So friendly, and very knowledgeable. The hotel’s location was perfect for us - quiet at night, and Sorrento only a 20-min brisk walk away. We also enjoyed being close to the shoreline. We tried a local restaurant every night of our 4-night stay, all within walking distance. Hotel and rooms extremely clean. Breakfast offers a large assortment. Such a great place to lay your head after a busy day out and about. HIGHLY recommended!

Great stay at end of 3 week trip

The hotel was ideal for our 2 night stay, location is a little out of Sorrento centre, 30 mins walk. This is more than made up for by the welcome and service of the owner Marco who was outstanding from the moment we arrived. Car parking on site too. Breakfast lots of choice. Room was comfortable and well equipped and included a fridge. Couple of bottles of water in fridge would have been nice but tiny detail.

The hotel is situated in St. Agnello away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Sorrento; a 25-min walk away. That's convenient since you're away from the touristy area but still close enough.

The breakfast is convenient but not very varied (got the same basic continental fare every morning). The outdoor breakfast area is very nice. Marco and his staff are friendly and helpful.

There are restaurants within a few minutes walk from the hotel. Our favorite was a family-owned place called Da Peppino where the food was authentic and well-priced.

The beach (La Marinella) is less than a 10-minute walk. Once you get close, the beach access is quaint through tunnels that lead from street-level to the beach down below. Best to pay the $7 Euro pp entrance fee and a few Euros for a lounge chair and umbrella. The beach (as is the case with all Amalfi coast beaches) is dark grey lava sand and not very crowded. There's a spot where you can get into deeper water where my kids loved seeing loads of fish and undersea growth.

Overall, I would recommend the place for a family stay.

This is a delightful place to stay situated in one of the picturesque small streets of SaintAgnelo and surrounded by lemon and orange trees . We spent four days in the area and specifically chose this hotel based on other reviews, and it lived up to every aspect of those reviews. Marco and his staff provide exceptional hospitality and service. The breakfasts are very convenient and better than any you could get at a local cafe. Marco himself will make the best cappuccino you will have in the entire region. The room was clean and comfortable with great AC to sleep well. The town of SantAgnella has many different places to eat and access to the sea if you want swim in the Mediterranean. It is only a very pleasant 25 minute walk to Sorrento. We would recommend this gem to anyone traveling to the area. The train stop is only a few minutes away to easily access either Sorrento, Pompeii, or Naples. Fantastic place.

Hotel Angelina is a true gem. Marco is so hospitable and our room was perfect. The bed was comfortable and had plenty of space. The bathroom/shower area were very large per usual standards and we loved the rain shower.
The hotel is in a great location just outside of Sorrento but was easily walkable. Marco provided us with assistance in getting Euro and recommendations for restaurants.
The breakfast is such a pleasant surprise and more than anyone could ask. The coffee and cappuccino were delicious.
We were only able to stay one evening as we were getting on a cruise but would absolutely stay here again if we return.

Marco the manager was very welcoming and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
The hotel was situated in a very convenient location and close to the train station, only one stop away from Sorrento! And the location was quiet.

My most endearing memory is ordering a gin and tonic, and Marcos picking a lemon from the tree in the front of the hotel for my drink.

I am a walker. :) So I think this is close to the center of town, but if you want to take public transportation, it's also available.

Marco at the front desk was a pleasure, and the gentleman who stays at night is also kind and ready to help - I can't remember his name.

Breakfast was great, I loved their coffee and service. Room was super clean and quiet. I am not a fan of the Italian mattresses, I think they are hard, and this is something I found in every hotel I stay during my trip - about 6 different ones.

Also, some places do not have hair conditioner. This is one of them. My recommendation is to get a little one to take with you so you don't run into the issue.

It was a great stay and I would book this hotel again.

I appreciated the staff’s warm welcome and assistance. The shower was excellent and the room was comfortable and cozy. The breakfast was tasty with lots of variety (cereal, yogurt, fruit, eggs, toast, croissants and lots of cakes and coffee choices). Great stay at the Hotel Angelina

Staying at the Hotel Angelina was a treat. It's in a great, quiet, location just a 8-10 minutes walk from the railway station and main bus stops. The owner Marco is amazing! He make a mean cup of coffee which we took full advantage of. Breakfast was fine, plenty of choice and topped up frequently. Only one slightly negative comment is that the scrambled egg was always cold unless you reheated it in the microwave. The Hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are very comfortable. We stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking the garden/orange grove. Four of us stayed, for 10 nights (from 27th April 2025) and we all thought it was exceptionally good value for money and would not hesitate in staying there again and in recommending it. Thanks Marco - it was really great!

Lovely clean hotel in a good location - half hour from main Sorrento but a scenic walk to/from and nice to be out of the busy centre. Marco was very friendly and attentive. Rooms good size and shower too.
