Beautiful hotel with incredible views of Sorrento, Vesuvius, and the sea. Spacious rooms. Beautiful pool. Convenient shuttle to the train station with an easy walk from their around town. Was a great spot for our time in Sorrento.

Awesome stay here for our 4 days in sorrento, quit location out of the craziness. Shuttle that runs from hotel to downtown everyday from 8:30am-11pm very convenient. Pool is awesome bar and restaurant are great aswell. Would definitely recommend

Gorgeous property with a beautiful pool overlooking the water. Great shuttle that makes the hilltop location no problem. The restaurant dinner was outstanding. Servers were also very friendly and helpful. They worked very long shifts. Front desk staff not as friendly but no big deal. Loved our two nights here. Day at the pool

Quirky hotel set up in the hillside above Sorrento.
Calm, quiet, tasteful and full of interesting art pieces. Each bedroom has its own dedicated artist.
Facilities are good - our sea-facing room was large and airy and had a massive balcony with a sofa and sun loungers.
The pool was gorgeous.
Food pretty good.
Staff friendly and attentive.
Shuttle bus every 90 minutes or so to and from Sorrento station.
We had a lovely stay in early June.

Amazing place to stay in Sorrento. The views are to die for. Rooms are spacious and even include a small balcony. The pool is beautiful and the staff is friendly and kind. The hotel is located on a hill so walking is not recommended. If you have a car they have parking spots, and they offer shuttle service.

The view fabulous straight out to sea and mount vesuvius, stunning sunsets.
Quiet location out of town elevated position
Staff very polite and friendly, even sorted us food on arrival after the restaurant was closed.
Breakfast, great continental selection, plus eggs, bacon, beans and sausage. The previous negative reviews are being picky given this is a mid price hotel not a 4/5 star hotel.
Pool area, lovely, clean, amazing views, plenty of seating, sunloungers, quiet, large pool.
The room was fine, clean, comfortable, had a decent wardrobe space, TV odd uk channel, safe, fridge, good bathroom with powerful shower. Modern ish, slightly hard beds but not the worst ive had. Perfectly comfortable.

Cons (if i was being picky)
Very quiet hotel so not for people who want lots of facilities and entertainment, theres a pool, restaurant open for breakfast and evening meal only, very small bar, which was empty during our stay in early may. Great room service food options though!!
A little further out of town than we imagined however they do offer a shuttle bus 10 times a day which is useful, if you time it wrong though youll have to walk. The walk down is fine, theres a shortcut through snickets, after the first 2 bends to the left which knocks 10 mins of a good 30-40 minute walk to the centre of sorrento. The walk back uphill is a bit tough, and watch the road narrow, no paths. A taxi will cost 20 euros!!.

What a charming property! A lovely view and comfortable rooms. It sits on the side of a very steep hill, so they provide a shuttle into town. You really can't walk down into town on the very steep, narrow street.

This hotel’s saving grace is the view. Absolutely gorgeous view overlooking the Bay of Napoli from the pool area and certain rooms.
The interior is stark and.… different. We likened it to an upscale hostel. The room is very basic it the bed is comfortable. We had a sewer smell in our bathroom and we notified the front desk. We don’t know if they tried to rectify it, but it was still there on check out day.
We had a lovely balcony with loungers overlooking the beautiful pool area and Bay. Unless you make use of the shuttle to get you into town, you are stuck at the hotel. The shuttle is frequent though so you have numerous opportunities to get out and about.
The food is mediocre. Breakfast and the snack bar have more choices than the dinner menu.
The staff are nice.

3 star rating at the most. Would we return? No.

This hotel was nice, although I found that the shuttle bus to the town needs to run more times as it is very limited. The hotel is located up the top of a massive hill which you cannot walk up and you need to plan ur visits to Sorrento town/station around the shuttle times.

Albeit up a huge un-walkable hill, This has amazing views and a really nice pool, staff were great. Has a minibus service which could be a bit more regular but great all the same. Rooms nothing special but when the main area is like this who cares as you won't spend much time in them. Make sure you have sea view room costs extra but worth it IMO.

This hotel is up a narrow windy road with the most amazing views!! Nowhere to walk to as very steep but great free shuttle bus in to Sorrento.
I will definitely return as the views far out-weigh the isolated area!

Based on reviews and price per night I thought this was going to be a nice hotel but was I wrong. The only nice thing about this hotel was the view. Other than that it was like staying in a dorm room. Beds awful. Rooms so dirty, they didn’t even change the pool towels the entire time we were there. And there was black stuff in our shower when we arrived. Food terrible. Service, Terrible. Would’ve left the hotel if we could find another place to stay that wasn’t 5k a night. Do not listen to the other reviews because genuinely a horrible hotel.

While the pool is nice the rest of the hotel is a dump. The rooms are filled with cracks on the walls and mold. They advertise smoke free but everyone is smoking. They say no kids but kids all over. They say no pets but also not true. This hotel is a 1 star hostel not a 4 star hotel.

Honestly, the only person who I liked was the front desk agent \"Antonino\" - who mainly my wife and I dealt with. Reason being, we were not happy with the hotels accommodation as the rooms looked like they were undergoing renovation and amenities looked outdated.

My wife and I spoke to the property manager \"Masimo\" - he was rude, zero hospitality and only cared about making money. I informed him that I was willing to pay for the one night and would like for a refund for the next 2 nights, but he refused and said I will be charged for all 3 nights.

Upon which, I said if I am checking out and you have the room vacant, why would you charge me if you can sell it - he refused to give me my refund and insisted that he will charge my credit card. Seemed like a threat more than anything.

We ended up HAVING to stay as we have no choice and did not want to pay for 2 hotel rooms. Please refrain from staying at his hotel, mainly because the hotel rooms and other amenities need major upgrading and the hotel manager needs to learn how to treat guests with hospitality.

The only thing going for this hotel is the view and the front desk agent \"Antonino\".

Great view but disappointing facilities.

The view from the pool and the pool area itself is unrivalled - absolutely stunning. The hotel itself is quite basic and the rooms and bathrooms need updating. Would definitely recommend upgrading to sea view as otherwise you are facing a wall. Unfortunately we were woken up every morning at 630am with a loud and consistent banging that lasted until 9am. When telling the hotel, nothing was done about this and no one came to the room to hear the noise - this did taint our stay. Walk into town was fine - roughly 20 mins but the walk back felt long at night and very dark. The shuttle bus only runs until 11pm so very disappointing when trying to have late meals to fit with the italian culture and beware - this bus is normally full so get there early!

Had a wonderful time at Gran Paradiso. The views are unreal. Definitely get a sea view room, we loved having a glass of wine with the sunsets. Drinks are very reasonably priced, lunch has some great options too. Shuttle service was such a nice addition to go into town and explore. Thank you for a great trip!

Amazing view with infinity pool overlooking the coast. Great breakfast with many choices. Bar very accommodating. Only negative would be the very narrow street getting to hotel is a straight uphill climb if your walking. It’s a 20-30€ for a cab and hotel shuttle has limited runs.

The only thing I would say to change is I’m a nice size room, no drawers and no mirror at dressing table on I’m bathroom or on door which had no plug nearby. Gran Paradisimo far from Paradisimo

This hotel is simply too far away from main part of Sorrento. As well as the piers for departure to Capri and other day trips. Shuttle service is infrequent and not dependable which means a round trip to central part of town is 50 euros. Staff at the front desk,waiters, and bartenders have a very poor and condescending attitude. Nicest part of the hotel is the pool and view. But this is overshadowed by poor and unfriendly attitude of staff. Much better to stay at another hotel more centrally located where staff understands the importance of being user friendly to tourists.

We loved our sea view room and enjoyed the large balcony where we could relax and watch ch the most amazing Sunsets we’ve ever watched. We particularly liked their shuttle service to the city center. This hilltop hotel is a great place to stay while vacationing in Sorrento or the Amalfi Coast region.

After a long day of travel I arrived at the hotel and was told my room that had been fully paid for through Expedia was not yet ready and \"please have a drink while you wait\". After one sip the manager summoned me to the registration desk to tell me that the hotel was overbooked and a room would not be available. \"Please allow us to offer you accommodations at another area hotel. We'll drive you there, no charge!\" How kind of them. While the alternate hotel was nice enough it was not what I booked.

If you are travelling for a summer pool break this hotel is a good choice, great views. If you are on more of a “city break” then it’s a bad location and you are really tied to the schedule of the mini bus unless you want to pay 20-30 euro for a taxi each way.
Rooms are sparse, doesn’t have a 4* feel.

The hotel offers a comfortable base for exploring Sorrento and surrounds. All the hotel staff were helpful, friendly and made us welcome. Special mention must be made to the front desk manager Massimo Fiorentino who went the extra mile to assist us.The hotel is full of modern art and each room is decorated in a different style. Being bed and breakfast only my wife and I chose to eat most evening meals out in different restaurants in Sorrento. The 3 evening meals that we chose to eat in were reasonably priced, the most disappointing fact was that all the main fish dishes used frozen fish. We had a 4th floor sea view room with a balcony which provided spectacular views of the Bay of Naples.

Wonderful hotel with amazing staff

My second time in Sorrento and it only gets better. We just had a basic room but could not fault a thing. Hotel has amazing views with regular transport to Sorrento centre which takes about 5 mins. Though we did walk a few times and takes about 15 mins. Staff could not do more for you and good that we had in hotel was 1st class. A wonderful sample of Italian culture

The staff are friendly and me and my partner enjoyed a stroll down to Sorrento in the evening, but got the shuttle back. We only had lunch on one occasion in the hotel and the food was average, hence eating out in one of the many restaurants in Sorrento

The hotel was quiet and secluded from the drum of activity in Sorrennto, which was a nice break. However, it meant that you were reliant on the hotel shuttle to plan outings. We weren't told till our last two days that the hotel could make reservations at a nice restaurant that provides free car service to/from the restaurant. The hotel would benefit from a concierge and a shop to purchase toiletrees and such since its far from a store. While the restaurant staff was wonderful, the food left much to be desired. The hotel is in need up upgrading: bad leaky shower and mold.

Sold on its view

Key selling point was its view, from there some features did not relate to a 4 star hotel. The shuttle bus was old and hot and very uncomfortable. The exterior of the hotel was tired and poorly maintained. The toilet facilities adjacent to the pool below ground were dirty and part flooded.
The reception only offered a E95 taxi service for our return trip to the airport. We only discovered that a bus service existed for 10 euros....

Hotel is lovely. Small Car park. Staff need to smile. -2 out of all were pleasant. Doesn't hurt to smile on your job. Wasn't meant to be our hotel as the one I booked
Months in advance decides to email me the day before whilst already on our travels through France to Italy, saying they're over booked. I wasn't happy. Expedia were good at finding another but it cancelled our plans for Capri as were too high up and parking situation wasn't good and limited time for us to use hotel transport.

Hotel with stunning view of the bay of Naples

We spent 2 weeks b&b at this hotel and had a wonderful holiday. The view from the pool was stunning as was the pool area it's self. Staff were friendly and helpful particularly on reception. Room was recently refurbished to a good standard but the balcony was tired and in need of redecoration. Room was cleaned daily and towels were changed every day. Breakfast was adequate but not amazing. We ate evening meals there 3 times for convenience which were reasonably priced but nothing special. It's a long steep walk into town but there is a good courtesy bus service. The one disappointment was that the gym was very poor. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Thanks to all the staff.

Its all about the views!

My partner and I were very disappointed on arrival to find we had been given a room tucked away at the back of the hotel with a small balcony overlooking the bins and the neighbouring building. We immediately went down to reception and asked to be put in a better room. There was only one available room which required a substantial additional upgrade cost. However, we had not gone all the way to Sorrento to face a wall and feel claustrophobic and therefore we paid the upgrade costs. The room we were given had a fantastic view and that is simply what you pay for. Room: Two single beds pushed together an attached en suite bathroom with varying degrees of maintenance (first bathroom was very clean and tidy but due for updating, second bathroom looked like it had recently been updated). Mini toiletries, blankets and beach towels provided in the room. Small mini bar with chargeable items. No coffee or tea making facilities - if you are like me and need tea at 2.50euro at the bar it can quite quickly mount up! Service: Very polite staff and were very welcoming. Always very attentive to the Italian guests first but overall are very good! Food: Basic breakfast. Very well made and presented but very limited choice. e.g. cooked breakfast consists of scrambled eggs, tomatoes and sausage every day. Overall; stunning views, clean, tidy, close proximity to Sorrento and very walkable (note: the hotel is at the top of a very steep hill!).

Great little hotel, which can't really be beaten for Sea Views of the bay of Naples - be sure to book a room that gives you one! Very helpful desk staff and the hotel was spotless throughout. Some may find the rooms a little basic but this wasn't a problem for my wife and I, and the bathroom was very clean and modern. The only slight drawback is that you're constrained somewhat by the shuttle bus timetable - the hotel is at the top of a stiff climb and some way out of the centre of Sorrento in St. Agnelli. However, the shuttle is pretty frequent and it's easy to work round this. Recommended!

The staff here were fantastic and very attentive. The breakfast was very good and the whole experience was good value for money. The hotel is nicely decorated with lots of interesting art hanging around (although at times other parts seemed slightly dated). There was a regular, free shuttle service into town (which is needed as it is up a hill), with a particularly friendly driver. When we arrived we were upgraded for free to a better suite, which offered stunning views.

We had a fabulous week staying at this hotel, you are reliant on the shuttle service due to the location but the views more than make up for this. The staff are very helpful and the shuttle bus driver was just brilliant, always happy and helpful. Our room was small but very clean and had a lovely terrace with views of the bay, coast, mountains, the town and Vesuvius. It is definitely worth paying for a view and if possible requesting room 408, if the view and terrace are more important to you than the size of the room. We only ate breakfast at the hotel but the staff were lovely and there was a decent choice of food. The hotel looks a little tired from the outside but inside it is beautiful.

Great hotel for a Sorrento stay

Loved this hotel and enjoyed our short stay. Staff were excellent without exception and treated all guests with the same polite, friendly professionalism - just as it should be but so rarely is. Great ambience, funky decor but not too much, all clean and bright and comfortable, couldn't fault it. Pool freezing in early April but spotlessly maintained and great for a refreshing dip. Didn't take dinner at hotel but breakfasts were excellent and nice toasties and sandwiches available daytime and evening. We rented a small car and found the hotel easily with sat nav but so pleased we took smallest car (a C1). And don't even think about driving in Naples unless you are very confident, just google some video clips first to see what you're up against. Our best time was a full day trip to Capri. We hired a taxi to stay with us for a half a day (100E) so we could maximise our time there. Blue Grotto 1st (by land and join a row boat at the steps so no queue for boats), Anna Capri with free time for shop/coffee and chair lift (a must do) then finish in Capri and take steps down to port when ready after free time. But the big plus was that the driver gave us great info all the way and showed us many other places we would not have found. Evening drive to Positano gave us a flavour of the Amalfi Coast road and a lovely dinner. If you visit Vesuvious beware a chronic shortage of toilet facilities. Sorrento was very nice for an afternoon amble. I went with some hesitation but loved the trip.
