Great Stay just outside of Sorrento

Great Stay just outside of Sorrento. The location suited us as it was very quiet but be prepared for a 1km walk to the nearest supermarket and about 30 minutes into Sorrento. We took a taxi for an early trip one morning and it was €25 to the centre if that is helpful to people.
Paolo was extremely helpful, kept in touch on the run up to and during our stay, he loves a voice note.
Room was great, we were in the Capri room, my only minor gripe was the ceiling height in the bedroom, I’m about 6ft so banged my head a few times.
Air con was great, beds comfy, roof terrace was lovely. What more could you want when you are out all day and just want somewhere quiet and comfortable on an evening.

Calm clean accommodation near Sorrento

The welcome by the owner Paolo was very warm and friendly, with excellent English spoken. He was super helpful and gave lots of tips of places to go etc. Nothing is too much trouble for him. The self serve breakfast was brilliant - with coffee machine, fruit juices, cereals and yoghurt, fresh fruit, fresh pancakes, fresh warm pastries, bread and preserves, hard boiled eggs, cheese and ham. Really wonderful. The covered outdoor area where breakfast is served is a spacious and spotlessly clean contemporary paved yard which has tropical grasses and a relaxing and calming water feature. Room was very calming decor and in the ensuite there was an excellent rainwater shower. Very spacious and brilliant white linen on bed. Spotlessly clean room. Excellent, would recommend! A walk and a 1€ ride in a lift to the nearest seaside and a longer walk and a short train ride into Sorrento, train more reliable than bus. I forgot to ask if I could use a little of the milk that was in the fridge for a tea/coffee in my room in the evening, or perhaps to use the coffee machine in the evening. That was my fault and I didn't like to pester the host in the evening to ask. I really have no complaints about this accommodation - both it, and the host were truly excellent!

Quiet, comfortable Sant'Agnello

Small B&B located in a quieter part of Sorrento (Sant'Agnello), which was perfect for us. Updated, clean, very friendly host/staff. Nice garden area for breakfast. Also very helpful recommendations for excursions and restaurants. Breakfast was included, which was fine, but not many choices and little fresh fruit. Also, since the breakfast area was outside, a couple of mornings, it was a bit chilly. There was a table set in the rooms however as an option. Overall for the price, a great value, quiet and comfortable. If you want to be close to Sorrento city center, it is a good 45 minute walk and taxis are 25 euros one way.

I had a fantastic stay at Relais Kaora. The room was spacious, bright and clean. Communication with the front desk was excellent. Paul went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. I would absolutely recommend to anyone staying in Sorrento or Sant'Agnello to stay here!

Staying at Relais Kaora was great. Paul was very friendly communicative about what we needed to get to the place. He also helped us book our scooter to explore the Amalfi Coast. The rooms were clean and well kept. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Sorrento.
Service was amazing. Paul was graciously able to help us out when we ran into an issue with not being able to catch a train due to a strike, to head to the Naples airport for our next leg of our trip

All I can say is you need to stay here, if you’re travelling to Sorrento. Paolo is very passionate about his work and he ensures that each guest feels like family. He is very knowledgeable about the best places to eat and spend time in Sorrento. Antonietta is a sweetheart, always making sure that her guests are taken care of. The rooms are modern and very clean and have AC in all the rooms. A true pleasure to stay here at Relais Kaora, I will be back for sure!

After traveling around Italy and staying in some pretty questionable places, we found this jewel! Great layout, very comfortable room and nice seating area just outside. Paolo the manager is a super host and he gives you tips on anything you need. Antonieta, the lady that maintains the rooms and prepares the breakfast is a darling and a great person. I highly recommend this apartment.

We stayed here in the Capri apartment for 6 nights and had a great experience. Paul was a very knowledgeable friendly host and also offered to oragnis our airport transfers which helped immensely! The room was very modern and in very clean condition. Highly recommend the Capri room for the outdoor terrace. Breakfast was served every day in the lovely outdoor courtyard. The location is great, 10 minute walk from the train station or also a 30 minute walk to Sorrento itself. Staff were always happy to help and informative.

Staff was wonderful (Paul), very informative, welcoming and easy to get ahold of. This is a guest house so there isn’t a front desk which is fine! No parking, even though Paul gave us all the information about where to park, he/we forgot about Monday markets so our car got towed! So if your driving make sure you understand the signs! The room itself was clean, modern and everything you need, just beware if you get the room on the lower floors it smells like musk- dampness. That’s the only complaint, everything else was wonderful.

We stopped here start of October for my Birthday weekend and was very impressed with the property. Paul, who runs the hotel contacted me a week before we travelled introducing himself which was a lovely touch, and also sent detailed instructions to the hotel upon arrival via WhatsApp. We were welcomed upon arrival with an alcoholic beverage and a tour of the hotel.
The room was clean, spacious and Bright with a comfy bed. Coffee & Tea is on offer in the rooms as well as a sizeable TV on the wall. The shower room is well light, Clean and has a cool neon lighting which is a nice touch. There are also towels and washing products in the room if you require them.
The eating area is Lovely, set outside it offers a continental style breakfast as well as a hot drinks machine and juices. Sitting in the dinning area in the morning with the warm sun on my face and the tranquil sounds of the water feature is something I have missed since my return to the UK! The is also a Lovely Lady milling about keeping the food stocked up and attending to the rooms. Always smiling and polite and friendly.
Location is great, a quite area but a short walk to the train station or bus and one stop and your in the middle of Sorrento. Very convenient and easy service to navigate. From here you can also reach all the famous landmarks like Pompeii. Paul was a great host and kept in touch throughout the trip offering us great tips and advice on the area. He also arranged our transfer back to Naples airport

Bus / Train station - is 10/15 min walk
If you like to be in a quiet place this wonderful, away from the hustle and bustle.
Breakfast is basic, but enough to start the day.
As a base to use to travel to various places this was fine.

My personal opinion is probably a little too far out from greater selection of places to go to eat / drink in the evening by walking, without having to worry about missing the last bus / train as taxis are expensive. We did use the bus to sorrento which is not far 5-10 Mins drive, as they were more frequent than the trains. 1.30 for a single.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough! The owner, Paul, is so attentive and will really make the effort to ensure you’re stay is comfortable and you get the best out of your time in the area. He was in contact with us before and throughout our stay, gave us many recommendations and advice, and was extremely accommodating. We arrived quite early in the day and he had the room ready for us to stay in and have us loads of tips on what to do and where to go.
The hotel itself is so clean and modern in its decor. The rooms are very big, bathrooms lovely. The breakfast spread is perfect too, the carrot cake in particular was delicious! Bread for toast, jams, cheese, salami, pancakes, muffins, biscuits, teas, coffee and fruit etc. Everything you need for a nice breakfast.
The hotel is about a 20-30 minute walk from Sorrento. We decided to walk into the centre each day rather than get the public transport as that would have still required around 15 mins of walking. We preferred being outside of the busy Sorrento. The marina is a few minutes walk away and there is this perfect garden where you can sit and watch the sunset.
I would definitely recommend this hotel!

I don’t know where to start, all we can say is the best host and lovely accommodation !!

Special thx to Paul, from time before arrive Italy to time we left he was always on a text message away, super friendly and helpful, property it’s new, spotless near all the attractions and transfers and dead quiet

What else you should be looking for, it’s in th we best spot of Sorrento very easy and close to Amalfi and Positano.

I can’t believe our luck to find this place and helpful stuff, recommended to anyone thinking to travel Sorrento

This is an absolutely beautiful property! It is brand new, extremely clean, and the beds are comfortable. I stayed several places in Italy and they were nice but staying at Relais Kaora was so relaxing it felt like we were the only guests staying there. What makes Relais Kalora the best place to stay in Sorrento is Paul! He goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. He was so helpful and hospitable, and was available to help with anything we needed. Do yourself a favor and book your stay here!

Stayed for 7 nights in July 2019. Clean, modern and quiet hotel located in Sant'Agnello. Rooms are spacious and air-conditioned, bed is extremely comfortable. Paul is a fantastic host, always available for any information or needs required. 10 minute walk to the train station where you can travel to Sorrento for €1.30 return. 10 minute walk to Sant'Agnello beach. Recommend boat excursion to Capri, train to Pompeii and boat excursion to Amalfi and Positano. Grazie Paul!

We had a wonderful stay at this B&B and would definitely recommend it.

The team is extremely attentive and helpful — special thanks to Vittorio, who was an excellent host throughout our stay, as well as the entire staff, who were always kind and professional. Everyone truly deserves a 10/10.

The room was perfect, very comfortable and well maintained. The bathroom and shower were excellent, and the breakfast was also very good and well served.

The location is good, and it’s about a 10-15 minute walk from Sant’Agnello train station, which is convenient for exploring the area.

We had an amazing stay and would happily come back. Highly recommended! 10/10 🙌

Nicht nur die Unterkunft sondern auch der Besitzer ist wirklich toll. Schon im Vorfeld hat er Kontakt zu uns aufgenommen und sich um all unsere Anliegen und Wünsche gekümmert.
Die Unterkunft hat eine tolle Lage in einem Vorort von Sorrent. Hier ist es ruhig, man kann aber alle Sehenswürdigkeiten leicht mit der Bahn oder dem Bus erreichen.
Ich war nun das fünfte Mal in Sorrent und muss sagen, dass ich mich immer wohl gefühlt habe aber nie so wohl wie im Relais Kaora. Es ist sicher, dass wir wieder diese Unterkunft buchen würden. Alles an ihr ist toll, aber die gastfreundliche Art des Besitzers macht es zu etwas ganz Besonderem.

Relais Kaora is a beautiful, restorated house from the 19th century that lies around 10 minutes by car from the centre of Sorrento. It is simply perfect. The building is greatly restored, the rooms are big, clean and bright, there is a rain-shower in the bathroom and the airconditions work good and silent. There is a breakfast buffet that you can enjoy inside the courtyard. But the very best of this accomodation is the host, Paul, that tries to fulfill every of your wishes. He'll provide you with a lot of recommendations and there is not hing you can't ask him for. He is very kind and it was a pleasure staying in his Relais. If we ever come back to this corner of Italy, we will definetily stay again at Relais Kaora!

Sehr Sauber, Extrem Gastfreundlich und Hochwertig

Das Relais ist ein wunderschöner Ort um die Zeit in Sorrent zu verbringen.
Alles ist sehr sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Die Einrichtung ist ziemlich neu und sehr schön eingerichtet.
Paolo ist ein super Gastgeber und hat uns bei allem geholfen.
Da wir das erste mal da waren kannte ich mich so gut wie gar nicht aus, Dank Paul habe ich mich dort sehr sehr gut zurechtgefunden.
Er ist sehr fürsorglich.
Wenn ich es besser bewerten könnte dann würde ich dies machen.
Sehr empfehlenswert, wir kommen wieder!!!

Abbiamo trascorso 2 notti in questo B&B e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Pur non essendo a Sorrento centro, Relais Kaora si trova in un'ottima posizione per visitare le zone vicine. La stanza era grande e dotata di ogni confort: bagno privato, smart tv, frigo e cassetta di sicurezza. La pulizia era impeccabile e ogni giorno la stanza veniva pulita e rifornita di asciugamani se necessario. Ottima la colazione. Ulteriore nota positiva: Paul è stato gentilissimo e sempre disponibile per qualsiasi cosa!

Insieme alla mia amica, siamo stati 3 notti in Relais Kaora, ed è stato un vero piacere ! Si tratta di un'antica villa ristrutturata secondo i più alti standard. Siamo stati tra i primi ospiti, la nostra stanza era nuova e bella, arredata con gusto, spaziosa lo stesso del bagno, e con tutti i comfort di un hotel di lusso, anche e il letto era molto confortevole. Tutto è molto pulito nel complesso e la vista dal 1 ° piano è bellisima. La colazione era abbondante e varia, contenente prodotti freschi, una macchina per il caffè, succhi di frutta, dolci e frutta e il fatto che sia preso sotto un giardino terrazzato offre un tocco in più di tranquillità e relax.
Oltre al posto meraviglioso, siamo rimasti molto immpresionati dall'ospitalità di Paul, che e stato un ospite eccezionale, si è offerto di aiutarci con qualsiasi problema, ci ha fornito informazioni, ancora di più ci ha guidato in auto fino al porto di Sorrento una mattina per non perdere tempo. Lo abbiamo sentito come un vero amico e ci torneremo sicuramente alla prima occasione.
Raccomandiamo vivamente questo posto per rilassarsi, e anche come punto di partenza ottimo per esplorare Sorrento, Capri, Positano, Amalfi, Ravelo o Pompei, Ercolano e il Vesuvio. Un posto che rimarrà nei nostri cuori ! Grazie mille Paul e buona fortuna per il futuro! Ciao da Dinu e Maria ;)
