The staff was very friendly -- albeit, not present at the desk, but just a phone call away. The building itself was a bit ominous on the outside, and we were greeted by a parking lot fight. Still unsure who the man was screaming at because we didn't see or hear a secind person, but the angered man was definitely mad at someone. Once inside the room, it was actually nicer than expected. The bed was fairly comfortable, but every time I turned the springs in the mattress creeked. The bathroom door stuck, so each time it was opened, it would make the loudest screeching sound. Overall, the hotel was decent for the price.

Except for the windows, room was clean considering the age of the hotel (it was originally an Econo Lodge, if I remember correctly). Staff was helpful under the circumstances (I believe the owner/manager was pretty much the only one on duty). Was pleasantly surprised to find a microwave and refrigerator in the room, needed to refrigerate my food and warm it up for dinner. Did not use bathtub or shower, but hair dryer came in handy when I accidentally got my hat a little wet. Grateful for ground floor room, did not want to climb stairs.

Where do I begin. Apon arrival to my room first thing I noted was the smell of wet dog,
Then we move into the room , total filth. Cob webs, dust, dirt on the floor, food left over in the mini fridge , I’m not sure what but something smeared on the wall by tv, the sink are was also very dirty, the mirror looks as if it had tooth past spittle , the bath room was just as dirty.
The cover was either dirty or stained.
When my husband complained to the worker we were told they had no other rooms available but they could switch us rooms the next night. We were only staying one night but no thank you !
This place was disgusting.
We will never book here again.

Staff was friendly/ tried to be helpful but hard floors in bathroom area were very dirty. Looked like hadn’t been swept and needed scrubbed too. Beds/tub were clean. Bed comfortable. Supposed to have breakfast but no food. Manager said the staff the day before didn’t restock. He gave us a candy bar.

When I checked in I was moved to back side of the location since the hotel was full. Once driving around to the back you find a vehicle on blocks and it did not feel safe. Later that day I came back to sleep and the parking lot was full of people drinking and partying, the police were called at some point, I did not feel safe and worried about my truck being damaged so I had to move it to another location and walk back to the hotel. The parking lot had people eating and drinking every night until late in the week. The door slamming and stomping around was ridiculous, very hard to get any sleep. I will be searching for a different hotel on my next trip to the area.

The tv was too complicated to use, and there is no sound-proofing between the rooms…the man next door coughed and hacked all night and kept me awake (not his fault). The floor was cold without carpeting.
I ran into car trouble and the manager at the hotel was extremely agreeable to help with what he could.

Pets stay free

We usually travel with our small dog so we look for pet friendly motels. I was honestly disappointed in the cleanliness of this place based on the rating at the time I booked. The floors were filthy. The sheets were either stained or dirty, and our dog found an empty Gatorade bottle under the bed. The area was convenient to the interstate, and it was quiet.

I entered the property to check in. The front desk agent was egregiously rude towards me! The front desk agent saw 5 people standing outside which was my family who were staying off premises. He went for my jugular vein. First words that exited this man’s mouth was this stay will cost you $150 extra. My brother had to come in and tell this employee that the other people aren’t staying here. My sister and me drove from Deale, MD to Marietta, OH. That was the last thing we wanted to hear. This front desk person didn’t make me feel welcome at all. I will NEVER stay at the Red Roof Inn again!

Could be cleaner on the outside. Get rid of the birds that are nesting in the facade and their poop with go away with them. WiFi was good for the first 2 or 3 days then it was erratic and slower. That issue will prevent me from going back, since I must have good and reliable WiFi. For the price, it is very reasonable if you do not require WiFi.

I got there and my room was FREEZING. The heat was off. It took over an hour to warm up so i could take off my coat and boots. The deadbolt did not lock so i used a chair under the knob. The beds are so hard, the blankets are ancient with burn holes, the pillows were flat. On the positive side the front desk clerk was very nice and i had nice hot water.

Really disappointed.

The room is nice. Disappointed to see the person on call seemingly lived here and required a phone call from their desk to get their attention. I literally had to dial zero from the desk phone to get any help. Phone rang nine times and when it was finally answered, the person on the other end acted like they were upset I called. Was told if we smoked in the room we’d be charged $200. Weren’t warned that local construction crews would be drinking and smoking pot on the balcony upon our arrival. Pop machine was inoperable. Lobby had no air conditioning. Won’t stay here again. The hotel across the street offers the same pricing, working vending, and much more accessible staff. I’m cool with the staff literally living where I stay, but they ought to be available. Won’t stay here in the future.

This hotel was recently renovated. The room was clean comfortable and have a coffee maker refrigerator and a microwave. It was easy on easy off access from the interstate and definitely one of the better red roof Inn I have ever been to definitely would recommend for an overnight stay

The outside of the complex was dirty, old, and weathered. The power went out second day, but eventually came back by night when we needed to sleep. Worth the cheap price... but in the future I will spend a bit more for amenities.

The lobby was horrible. Children’s writing on the wall behind the desk. Furniture in the lobby was terribly worn. Coffee cans for cigarette butts along the outside walkway.
I couldn’t leave because I didn’t think I would get my money back.
I may not use the app again although it is convenient.😞

We were not expecting much but were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness of the room and the fact that it appeared to be recently updated. Only suggestion would be to provide more pillows. Other than that, the hotel met our needs and actually exceeded our expectations.
