We had a last minute trip and arrived late in the evening. Check-in agent was friendly enough. But the room had a very bad odor. We had to literally clean the hard surfaces ourselves before we could even unpack. Outside of toilet was soiled with urine and hair, counter surfaces and mirrors were dirty and the floor was so gross, we couldn’t take our shoes off until I hand mopped it. Linens and towels smelled clean but were heavily stained.
We didn’t expect the room to be glamorous for the price, but we did expect it to be clean.
Only decided to stay because we were too tired to deal with finding something else at that hour. But once we cleaned it ourselves to a reasonable degree, it was tolerable.

Motel and rooms old and very outdated. Back of motel was trashy. Toilet in room was dirty on the outside. No coffee maker, iron, kleenex in room. Ice maker did not work. Didn't see any snack bar/deli there. Electrical outlets were sparse and/or didn't work. Other 2 motels I stayed at last week for basically the same cost were far better. When I first arrived I had dirty, unkempt man ask me for a cigarette. Checked in, went to park and the same man came up to my vehicle and asked again for a cigarette and something to snack on. Exposed his backside as he walked away. Came knocking on my door 15 minutes later, I didn't answer, so he started looking in my window. Complained to office clerk and she was not concerned, just said he was harmless, but annoying. I did see man open door and go into room 46, so it appeared he is living there. I did not feel safe there and would not recommend this motel to anyone.

Unlike other reviews, the room was fairly clean and worked EXTREMELY well as a cheap place to stay for the night before immediately hitting the road the next morning. The shower worked fine, although the handle was prone to falling off. I never used the microwave so I can't comment on it, although the television was perfectly functional. One of the outlets in my room seemed to be non-functional, although outside of that the other outlets worked without issue. While the bed sheets were a little bit scritchy, for me they worked fine enough although for longer-term stays I can see them getting irritable fast. Having stayed in the cold, the heater worked without any issues, and I was able to sufficiently warm up my room. The deadbolt works fine, although the extra latch seems to not be installed properly as it was able to be easily bypassed.

I wasn't unhappy at this place, and like I mentioned earlier it was perfectly serviceable for my needs as a one-night stay between two destinations (it was a 13 hour drive and this was my designated half-way point, both going outwards and returning home). I'd recommend this place in good faith as a cheap place to pull over and stop for a singular night, although I think those looking for a longer-term stay are in for a worse time.

Room was clean for the most part. Water was hot. Unfortunately, my 3yo found the packaging for adult toys and a Walmart visa card package in the night stand drawer. Pretty obvious nobody checks the drawers. I'm sure the motel isn't aware of adult activities like that, but good Lord, check the drawers lol. Or maybe, if you're there for adult activities only, clean up after yourselves!

We didn't want to go up the outside steps to a second floor room. Room 22 door locks were damaged, refrig micro were filthy. I cleaned them and the room.There was a frozen corn dog in the freezer. Management was told, furniture was damaged and ugly. Lots of places on the wall. Would have given it a minus 10. Only good thing was the bathroom.hot water. Bed was fairly comfortable. We was tired and didn't feel good so stayed. But will never go back.

Checked into the room and was hit with a strong smell. Room looked out of date. The main floor was uneven. Had a dirty feel to it. I should have checked out then, but I am up here working for two weeks and the daily rate was decent. I went to the store and bought some disinfectant and cleaned the counters and doors and put in an air freshener. More towards the 4 am I noticed a roach running across the floor. I killed it and noticed two more in the room. I called another hotel and had to wait to 7am to check in. I attempted to check out at 0630 and had to hit a call light in order for an employee to come to the front door. Had to wait 15 minutes before he would come and then he cracked a window and took my card after telling him I’m checking out. No other words were exchanged. The photos that are uploaded on the app do not match what the rooms look like.

I got in that night with my child. Now..I know you get what you pay for. I normally get a room with a pool and breakfast, however, we was visiting family and wanted to focus on that vs my kid wanting to swim lol. With that being said .. I requested a king and initially was given two doubles. We got that straightened out. Went into the room and strong cigarette and weed smell. It was late we found something to put on tv and got ready for bed. Next morning I went to take a shower. The towels that were folded were actually dirty. I found one that was not used ( or hopefully not) while in the shower I see hair all over the walls. Three clumps of dried hair. I finished , told my daughter she needed to wait to shower. I went down explained the issue. Was provided a couple more clean towels and was told he would clean the room. We left to visit family and came back later that evening.. the room was still not cleaned. We went and stayed elsewhere and the next day I came and gathered our belongings, checked out early, and let them know we were not using the room due to the dirtiness. I was offered a clean room to move to but at this point I declined. Cheap should not mean dirty

The room itself was clean and was fine for a night. It was actually a pleasant surprise for a change to see laminate flooring. And nicer to see a motel /hotel TV with more than the same old channels. Only issues were the room phone didn't work, one of the lights was broken and some of the towels were torn. But other than that, a surprisingly good stay at a decent price.

The room was \"non-smoking\" but smelled like cigarettes. Couple days after that horrible night our clothes still stinks. We only stayed there because it's a Motel 6 and they're pet friendly. But it smells horribly. The staff smokes and everything around smells too. Can't get fresh air.

You get what you pay for. Stained towels, bed sheets with holes.

Water pressure was good and the area seemed safe though.

I will look for something else next time.

Absolutely attrocious very nasty hotel. There were crumbs on the counters, a dirty old Tshirt hanging on a shelf. A dirty broken glass filled with coffee inside of the microwave, black mold in the bathroom, holes in the floors, very uncomfortable bed, broken and loud air conditioner unit. Rude manager with what it looked like his teenage son, peeped into the windows with full face view in the morning, violating my privacy

The app said there would be free wi-fi, there was no wi-fi for more than half of the 3 day stay. The app said there would be a coffee/tea maker, there was not one in the room. The room had gnats flying around in the room. Some of the towels looked as though some dragged them through mud(this is the PG version of what I'd like to say about it)and I jad to go to a store to buy a towel to take a shower. The best things I can say are that the frig ran cold, and the tv didn't sound like it's speaker were run through a blender. I would highly not recommend this for a stay

Clean, Simple, No frills, No Breakfast!

This motel is older but is very clean, it is very sparce in furniture and should make use the 1960 's theme to their benefit and seek out some period furniture and pictures to match the older feel of the motel. The bathroom had been updated and was very clean. The staff was very nice and made us feel appreciated. A simple welcome package in the room would be helpful. With phone # of local food businesses that would deliver to the hotel would be helpful also some local tracts of things to do would have been nice. Simple and clean No frills!

Yes, in the hills of West Virginia, the motel is up the ramp, it really is. The roadside sign is a bit sun worn, so viewing ot at night is a little tricky. Go slow, pay attention, it's a small sign about waist level.

You Get What You Pay For

My boyfriend and I arrived on a Friday night and check in process was ok. I liked that the dogs stayed for free, and the value was good, but I should have known you get what you pay for. We found black hairs on the sheets, and when I went to the front desk, he seemed shocked and stated to me, that the housekeeper had just cleaned the room that day. I asked for new sheets, and he did not have any more fitted sheets so I had to make the bed with 2 flat sheets. The room also smelled of stale smoke and I could not figure out to why, and then I saw the housekeepers the next day while we were leaving cleaning another room while smoking. There were giant holes in the walls, and paint chipping everywhere, and it was painted a split pea green color. Also, had dim lighting. The next day I tried to contact the main office and he was not in all day, and I found a housekeeper and she stated, \"that we don't have enough linen so that is why you had the problem you did.\" I needed more towels as well, and those she said were hard to come by. Upon checking out, he was not in the office, and I left the key, and I had to make 4 phone calls to get a receipt emailed to me.

For the price and the length of time we'd be in the area (less than 24 hours), it was perfect. Getting in and out of the parking lot however was a challenge, lol, merging in this area was a personal experience like none other. Just be sure you are quick to merge! Otherwise, the room was clean and staff friendly. Price is right, can't ask for much more than that.

there was 5 of us staying in 3 rooms. One of the room was infested with BED BUGS! We reported it and they move the guest to another room. the staff acted as if it was expected. About half of the hotel was shut down for something, I am guessing Bed Bugs! Will never stay there again!
