This is an incredible Hilton location. I've stayed multiple places in Port Moresby but this was by far one of my best experiences. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were incredible and so attentive, there were nice touches like a welcome note and gift, and the amenities throughout the hotel and surrounding complex that made my stay fantastic. The food is the best I've had in Papua New Guinea, bar none, especially their 5 star breakfast buffet. I would recommend this hotel in an heartbeat!

This is an excellent Hotel. I am used to 4 Seasons like service and efficiency and the staff of this hotel
deliver it in spades. This hotel could be in Sydney. It’s that good. Before moving to this hotel, I tried another in Port Moresby, which wasn’t up to par. Very happy I stayed here and will continue to patronise the joint for the foreseeable future. 😊

Excellent hotel and very secure. I had access to the business lounge of which I highly recommend if not just for breakfast. It had access to meeting rooms which I was able to use during my stay and very friendly and attentive service. Restaurants were also on site and very good quality food served.

The hotel itself is lovely. The rooms are very modern and clean, the breakfast is great and the facilities are exactly what you would expect from a luxury hotel. The super friendliness of the staff was another nice touch. However, I would have expected the hotel to have a few more options for transport given it is unsafe to walk around the city.

Complementary airport pickup and drop-off

Free airport pickup (requested in advance) and an airport drop off (booked at hotel reception desk) meant that we felt safe getting to and from the hotel. The hotel was modern, clean, and comfortable, and the food and drink in the restaurant and bar in the main building was good (we didn’t try the Mumu BBQ restaurant in the hotel’s conference centre). Small swimming pool with a few sunloungers is available in the hotel grounds. Reception helped us to arrange a private driver to take us on a tour around Port Moresby. Our checkin was delayed while they investigated an issue with our reservation, but the problem was eventually resolved and we had a pleasant short stay in the Hilton Port Moresby Hotel.

First class hotel that has been recently built which means everything is still new and shiny. The lighting in the room was amazing and plenty of plug points for businessman. Service was good but the meals were expensive. Free and efficient airport shuttle.

We had a good stay at the hotel. Our only issue was the wi-fi. It is free and you have to join Hilton Honours to access it. You can only connect three devices and if you disconnect you cannot reconnect. The Summit bar was very good.

No refund for COVID

Got COVID before travel so was unable to fly internationally to Port Moresby and use the accommodations. Asked for a refund as the cancellation was due to illness. No refund given. Other hotels gave a refund with less notice than this one.

Unpleasant stay at Hilton.

Front lobby manager is very rude.
Lots of miscommunication between Hotels.com and Hilton.
My reservation on arrival was told to be cancelled. I have prepaid my room.
On the last 2nd night stay, they log me out of my room and even removed all my belongings from the room.
Later , they realised it's a mistake and give me my belongings. I lost some personal belongings in the process. It's nothing expensive and I didn't want to persue. The woman lobby manager was very unfriendly and rude. I am not sure she has some problem with Hotels.com but take it out on me.

I booked the presidential/chairman suite 2 weeks in advance. When i arrived to checkin at 1425, i was told my room was not ready. I waited about 20 mins before i was told it was ready. When i got to the room, it smelled musty like it hasn't been aired out for quite some time, and the entire suite was not cleaned. It did not smell welcoming at all. So I requested for the room to be cleaned, and after waiting almost 2 hours the room was still not cleaned to standard.Also the aircon in the bedroom was not blowing cold air the entire stay and there were cobwebs in the air vent that i requested to be cleaned prior but wasn't.

The waitress that served us at the restaurant forgot to bring my dinner and drink order for another guest because she was distracted due to her flirting with one of our guest. We had to remind her several times for the drink order and food so after waiting over an hour for my food i decided to take my dinner to go. Overall i had a bad experience

Great hotel but poor choices by some staff.

The stay was great. Only one sour note. I requested a bus trip to the airport at 02:15. When I checked out I was told that there was another guest and I was asked to take a seat. At 02:25 I asked where the other passenger was and I was advised that he had booked a 02:30 bus. I needed to be at the airport at 02:30. The fact that I had to wait for the 2:30 passenger was unacceptable. Would the Hilton have paid for any excess costs if I missed my flight. The impression that I got was that the second guest was more important than me.

The hotel is very nice and in excellent condition but a few things
Check in was okay but my Hilton Honours wasn’t recognised. I was supped to get completely Wi fi but was told I wasn’t entitled to it because I booked with a third party. I eventually did get the completely wi fi but it took them 4 hours to approve it. The room was okay but there was no kettle. The air con wasn’t working properly and the bathroom light was flickering. These things need to be checked before the room is rented out, these were fixed but it was irritating. Check in staff need to be more informed.
The breakfast was excellent so overall 8/10.

Went to resturant. Menu was misleading in selection. Food arrived and was not what i wanted. Resturant did not remove item from bill so i ended up paying for an item i did not want or eat. Only bad service was resturant. Rest of stay was good.

Initially on arrival I was very impressed with the hotel. However the staff are obviously not able to run a 5* hotel.

The check in clerk was coughing and sneezing all the time. It made me feel disgusting, why was he there if he was sick?

Had no water in room. Requested several times for more but none was ever sent up. Had to go to the bar my self to buy water.

Went out for dinner and was promised a car to pick me up, however aftwr dinner when I called the hotel they ssid no driver was available and left ne stranded. This was a terrifying experience to have to flag down a can in Port Moresby late at night.

Service in the feast restaurant was appalling. Appart from all the little things like diffeent sized wine glasses ewe were left waiting for over 30 minutes to order food one we received the menu, despite the restaurant only having 7 guests. When we asked to order dessert we were given a the menu again but no one ever came back! Starter plates were just left there once we received our mains.
