Loloata is always great, however the room we stayed in this time round could use some maintenance. A few things were falling apart, shower head need s good scrubbing. But the food and beverages team are always the best, Priscilla is always super accommodating and the rest of her team. Thanks for making our stay so comfortable because we did spend a lot of time in the restaurant while i wrote my final paper for school. Thanks for watch my son while i worked.

Lovely resort in a beautiful location but let down by poor management.
We arrived three days ago and I noticed that the pool looked dirty. On the second day of our stay we got up early to go swimming. We were met by these barriers, apparently the pump is broken. We were initially told that it would be fixed that day but later found out that this isn't true. It actually won't be fixed until after we leave.
We asked to speak to the management but we're still waiting for this to happen (2 days and counting). We wanted to request a courtesy boat trip to leave the island as the pool is closed and the small childs pool is full, the beach is small and very busy. With the pool closed there's nothing else to do so we wanted to get off the island instead. It's a very expensive resort considering the pool is out of action, we didn't think this was much to ask. They send out front of house staff who don't have autonomy to deal with issues. I had no choice but to follow up with Hotels.com who called the hotel. Hotel lied and said the pool was open, the pool wasn't open.
The staff on the ground are lovely but the management are non existent. It's clear that the priority here is the events and large conferences taking place every day. Common areas are left dirty and untidy after these events with balloons and waste in the water. Management don't care about the regular holidaymakers. Great potential let down by mismanagement.

We like the ocean view rooms. We catch beautiful views of the sunrise in the early mornings. Love the sound of waves crashing on to the sand and the birds chirping away in the early mornings. So serene.

Best birthday ever for my son (in his words)

We were there for my son’s 5th birthday. He has the most amazing time. Thank you to all the stuff involved in making his stay memorable. From Charity who arranged out transport from town and arranging the cake and for the room to be decorated. To the chef who make the cake, the housekeeper who decorated the room. The restaurant stuff who decorated his table on the day and entertained him by listening to all his stories. The chef who adjusted the menu to cater to my allergies. You guys were all great.

A few things i didn’t personally enjoy. The wifi absolutely sucks. Travelling with a small bot whose life is run by the internet i was annoyed that we had zero connectivity the entire time. Thank God for my own personal data otherwise it would have been a disaster. The stuff even pretending to go look into the matter but not actually doing to resolve it was more annoying.

The restaurant stuff get overwhelmed on busy nights, take forever and are not fully attentive to the guests. Housekeeping just walks into your room without knocking. Super invasive.

The reception stuff didn’t give any information at checkin. But i think it was also because we checked in with a large group so they were a bit overwhelmed as well. I had to constantly call to find out basic information they could have told me at checkin.

I note the things i wasn’t so thrilled about just for their improvement. Overall we had the perfect stay. It’s just super amazing at Loloata and the stuff super friendly.

great spa for moments not in the sun. place professionally managed. very clean and boat shuttle runs on time. don’t rely on dive shop to mind your safety though. that’s your business and so exercise extreme caution.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff!
Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. From the GM, people at the reception, the spa ladies, to the people at the restaurant, security, everyone was wonderful!
This was my 3rd trip and I can’t wait to come again!

This was one of the most incredible, lovely and relaxing places that I have ever stayed, especially in Papua
New Guinea. The staff were so attentive and helpful and gracious no matter what we needed. The spa services and atmosphere were indescribably relaxing and pampering. I cannot say enough good things about the resort, its staff and services. I highly recommend anyone to stay here and I will return myself.

This visit was quite good. The property management did make an effort to pick up the debris washed up on shore and be more environmentally conscious.
I hope that will continue. Overall the stay was great. Food and service was very good

The facilities are amazing. However, the hotel can be used by day guest (not disclosed when making a reservation) which makes the pool area crowded.

Staff is not enough to enforce the pool rules like loud music, smoking towel service runs out, jumping turning the peaceful atmosphere or the rest of the hotel into an uncomfortable place to relax.

Overall, we enjoyed the weekend away from the town, but the resort is in need of a refresh. Our room wasnt cleaned properly, the sheets were dirty, the curtains didnt completely close for full block out and we had to request additional glasware and to top it off the sink had a large cip and several cracks int it. The day spa was the highlight as it is always. Fantastic service, very tranquil and relaxing and amazing tea! There is a little sheltered area on the back of the island that would make an amazing private beach \"no kids\" which would be fantastic for romantic picnics and sunset dinners, just needs to be cleaner.

Area around the property had a lot of debris. Bottles, plastic and paper washed in from the tides. It did not give a good impression of the resort.
They have to ensure that the debris are cleaned regularly around the property
