We stayed for just one night, the property was clean and just what we needed for one night. When we arrived and got settled in, soon learned that the on site restaurant was not open and wasn’t given a reason why. Fortunately, we found good food close by.

We booked through Expedia, and the room was paid at the time of the reservation. We arrived at the hotel at 2:00 a.m, and the person at the desk couldn't find our reservation. We stood there for over half an hour with her apologizing and telling us that it was something wrong with the computer. She asked for a credit card information to hold in case there were any damages to the room. We were finally given a room on the first floor. When we entered the room, it was a handicapped room. My husband and I are two tall people, and the bed was extremely low for us. We left it at that because we were very tired being so late. Early in the morning, just before 8 a.m. the phone to the room rang, we didn't pick it up and continued sleeping. At 8:30 a.m. there was a knock on the door telling us that we needed to go to the front desk immediately. When we got there, we were told that we had not paid for the room, and needed to pay right away. We asked for the hotel supervisor, and were told there was none working until Monday. It was Saturday. We asked for the front desk supervisor or any supervisor at that, and we were told no supervisors were on site. We wonder who supervises the staff there? There's no accountability for anything that happens at the hotel? We left the hotel saying never to come back.

Nice staffK but the building itself was very dated. There’s no capacity to open windows even a crack and although there’s I ran shower had in the bathroom. There’s a lot of rust..

That said definitely not the worst place for the price point. It suited my needs and if I needed to be down there again for a night, I doubt I’d pay twice the price by going elsewhere, but I can’t recommend the place.. Sorry.

One front desk clerk was smug and teased, joked, and kidded about things I thought she was serious about like the snacks stating the 6 snacks I got cost $24. She is the evening clerk. The morning clerk did not charge me for the snacks.We didn't appreciate her condescending attitude. If I was her boss, I would fire her for not knowing how to genuinely treat the customer with sincere care. She's only been there a year. She has alot to learn. She came across better than us. We felt very intimidated and embarrassed by her. She did not make us feel welcome. She seemed distracted with her own affairs as if she was kissing up to other staff or boss. She works part time I guess in the eveings and night. She was small in stature and had blonde hair. She laughed at me after we were done with each other.We are deciding whether or not we will stay at a Radisson again. First impressions were lousy. We'd like to be reimbursed partial if not total for the hassle. Very disappointed and disappointing. We will not recommend you all to anyone else unless you can remedy this. That is all,.

The room needed attention. The ceiling in the bathroom is peeling paint. The toilet flushed weird and stopped up once.
I told the guy up front that the fridge didn’t work and was leaking all over the floor on the first night after all of our food got ruined. He said he would get it switched out but that never happened.
The beds were comfy.

Our room didn’t have hot water, the Wi-Fi was out in the building, the fridge didn’t work, the coffee machine didn’t work (though they fixed that!), and the heater cycled on and off every five minutes.

We have stayed at this property five times before. Previous stays were fine, but this was very disappointing.

The hotel had no hot water or WiFi for the entire 4 days we were there. Every day it was another story “a part is back ordered” etc. they claimed to have refunded me 50% but I’ve not seen the credit yet. Seemed like they left the young clerks (some of them like teenagers) to answer to the many irate customers and they clearly knew nothing.

The Radison Freehold staff took the time to call us before we arrived to let us know that the hot water and wifi were not working. They moved our reservation to a different nearby hotel and everything was seamless. Many thanks to them for being proactive and so helpful, saving us time at check in and making our trip a smooth one!

We stayed here on a trip to New Jersey to visit my family. The room was clean. The decor was average. I went to lobby for coffee in the morning around 8:15. Unfortunately, I had to wait. The staff was still making the coffee. The front desk attendant was kind but not attentive. The worst part of the stay was the shower. The shower was not hot. We were disappointed to take a lukewarm shower after a day of traveling. The stay was just ok.

Arrived on the Monday before Christmas to spend time with friends and family. Checked in and nobody alerted us to the fact the wi fi doesn’t work and more importantly there was no hot water. Throughout our stay of 4 nights over Christmas we never had hot water or wi fi which wouldn’t have been huge but I needed the wi fi for a project. The hot water in my opinion is a health code violation and towards the end the ice machines quit working.
The staff was excellent it wasn’t their fault but management was no where to be found and even after sending an e mail over 24 hours ago, no response. Spent almost 600 to have no hot water for 4 days.

We ended up not going to the hotel on receiving feedback from friends who stayed there the last two nights. The walls between rooms were not sound-proof and there was no lounge-area available to relax and hang out with friends.

We needed noise-free room for a good night sleep and wanted to socialize with friends before (post a wedding we just attended).

Since those conditions could not be met, we drove back home without checking into the hotel.

We booked a suite for one night after a family wedding at the hotel. The lobby was clean, inviting, and modern, and check-in was smooth with only a short wait. The gentleman at the front desk was very professional and friendly.

Our suite was much nicer than expected. It looked updated and spotless, with a soft modern color scheme and a very comfortable king bed. There was even a heart made out of towels placed on the bed when we arrived, which was a thoughtful touch. The room had a mini fridge, a coffee maker, and plenty of storage. I especially appreciated the full-length mirror with an outlet next to it so I could dry my hair while my husband was using the bathroom to shower and get ready.

The bathroom was spacious and clean with a walk-in shower, a well-sized vanity, and plenty of towels, which I always notice. Everything felt fresh and well maintained.

The hotel bar stayed open late after the wedding reception, which allowed guests to relax and socialize longer. The bartender was very friendly and professional, which made the evening even nicer. The next morning there was coffee in the lobby and check-out took less than a minute.

For just over $180 with fees, this was an excellent value. The service, cleanliness, and comfort all exceeded expectations. The location is convenient and easy to find. I would absolutely recommend the Radisson Hotel Freehold to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-kept hotel with great service and value.

Staff is excellent. Morning staff Eric at desk & Zack in dining were courteous & efficient. They are joys to talk to & resolve problems quickly & with humor. I recommend this hotel enthusiastically.

Staff was great. Only a few tissues and no back up box and same for the toilet paper we had to call Dow for both. Usually here is always an extra. Iron worked well. The air conditioning kept turning off which was frustrating to wake up hot and have to turn it back on (and yes we had it on high even tried auto at the lowest temp…neither kept the room cool for more than about 45 min to an hour at a time!

Terrible Wi-Fi and even worse service

The Wi-Fi at this hotel is extremely unreliable. Many rooms have no signal at all, and others only have a very weak connection. The only rooms with a somewhat decent signal are those near the elevator, yet the hotel advertises Wi-Fi throughout the rooms. Staff blamed the issue on a recent storm, but I experienced the exact same problem months earlier.

When I checked in and discovered that my room had almost no signal, I asked to switch so I could work the next day. The room I was moved to ended up having no signal whatsoever. When I requested another switch to a room closer to the elevator, the front desk agent, Maranda, refused—saying guests are only allowed one switch—even though I could see empty rooms in that area. I even asked to switch back to my original room, but she refused that as well. She also offered no alternatives, such as allowing me to work from a conference room or another part of the hotel with a stronger signal.

She basically ignored me, and continued scrolling on her phone while I explained that I needed Wi-Fi for a full day of work meetings. I left a message for the manager but never received any response or compensation for the false advertising and the inconvenience. Ultimately, I checked out early the next morning and moved to another hotel for the duration of my trip that actually provided working Wi-Fi and had great service. I go to the area regularly for work but will never be staying there again.

The location is great. The hotel is dated and old. We stayed at this hotel about 6years ago and it was great. This time it was poor. The room was very dated and could do with some upgrading. The bathroom tiled floor grout had mould and so did the shower ceiling. The toilet seat was loose and the towels had stains on them. The room door would rattle and didnt seem secure. Overall the room had a stale smell when you walked in. For nearly $600 for two nights i was not impressed at all. The only good thing was the bar food. Even the morning ‘fresh’ coffee tasted like vinegar.

We had room 402 and the air conditioning did not work very well. It was 15° cooler in the hallway than the room. We repeatedly asked for someone to look at it and if they did, they didn’t fix it. It made for a very uncomfortable weekend. There was gum under the lip of the nightstand too. We stayed here last summer and had 3 rooms, 1 also had AC issues but not this bad. We will look for a different hotel next time.
