WOW, one of the best hotels i have been to in the Maldives! Super clean rooms , beach studio is awesome with a private beach. Lots of things to do compare to anywhere else, variety of restaurants 15 different cuisines, hookah lounge, small markets, even a smoke shop and a disco. Few pools with bars, music and entertainment day and night. Our housekeeper was great and helpful, front desk people are awesome, the Russian lady helped us and extended our check out since our flight is at night (Thank you and no additional charge). I would definitely come back to Hard Rock resort next time we are in the Maldives. Great experience, thank you all . The only thing that i did not like was the service in that ne of the restaurants which was a 3th party and not part of the resort, Tappanyaki place called Blue something, servers deff need some training ( thanks to our table chef we were able to order drinks finally he was awesome though and food was outstanding). Anyways thank you all!

First of all, the speedboat transfer fee is daylight robbery. The 10-minute transfer to and from the airport costs USD $90 one-way per person. Keep in mind, it is a small shared speedboat — worse than the transfer I used to go to Maafushi Island, which took 45 minutes and cost only USD $25 one-way / person.

This transfer fee was not mentioned beforehand and was not transparent. Therefore, I am very dissatisfied with such outrageous charges.

Secondly, the water sports charges were outrageous. Paragliding costs USD $290, while it was only USD $60 in Maafushi Island — go figure.

I felt like I was being taken advantage of by this hotel.

Thirdly, some of the staff are not professionally trained (some reception staff, the man in charge of taking buggy transfer etc...), and their service was substandard. I received better service at Arena Beach Hotel in Maafushi Island.

Overall, it was totally not worth it, and I regret staying at this hotel. If I had known earlier, I would have booked a hotel with a seaplane transfer. Although it might cost double for the transfer, at least I would have had the chance to see the beautiful Maldives from the air and with much longer flight time and enjoying the airport facility.

Please think twice and do more research before choosing a private hotel.

10/10 would recommend! Let me also say top 2 employees here is Amal and Johnny, they are amazing and the best. Always smiling and that will get you far in life and their hospitality is amazing. We also met Fuad while doing excursions and he was excellent also, he guided us and took care of us the whole way. Nahum and Rahul were also good at SAii pool bar. But no one can beat Amal and Johnny in the Buggies. But thank you Hard rock for an amazing stay! It was great and beautiful. The food is also amazing.

(Choose buffet or any 3 courses from the restaurants à la carte menu) the Hard Rock Cafe was great and so was the seafood buffet. Loved the bikes and riding to the marina. Free pedalo and kayaking every day. Also lovely guys helping me in and out of the sea

The guys running the garden coral snorkeling are fab- we got lucky and saw a turtle and dolphins. Wasn’t fish soup but there was a selection of different fish

Maldives is truly one of the most unique and breathtaking destinations in the world and cannot be compared to any other beach destination. I have traveled to Antalya in Turkey, Cancun and Puerto Vallarta in Mexico, Cabo San Lucas, Hawaii, the Canary Islands, and the Bahamas, and Maldives is by far on another level.That said, if you are booking packages, be careful with expectations. Hard Rock Hotel Maldives is not a classic all inclusive resort. The meal plans have many restrictions, and you still need to pay extra to dine at the better restaurants. Even sodas in the in room refrigerator are charged separately, which is very different from typical all inclusive resorts. I have not stayed at other Maldives resorts, but I assume food is generally expensive across the islands due to transportation and supply limitations.

The resort itself is beautiful, and the staff are very kind and welcoming. We did not enjoy the food at Hard Rock Cafe or Miss Olive Oyl, but the manager Naaji was outstanding. He generously offered us a complimentary lobster night, which normally costs over $100 per person. He also kindly provided a day room after checkout since our flight was at 11:30 pm, which was extremely helpful and saved us from waiting hours at the resort. His support and kindness were truly appreciated.
The photo studio team was also excellent and offered us a great deal. I do recommend this hotel if you are traveling to the Maldives. Just be prepared for high food and beverage costs

We stayed in platinum overwater with pool. This is one of the best places we have visited. The staff were welcoming. We would like to thank Johnny, buggy driver, he was awesome. The all inclusive options were great. We liked the different dining options. We liked the Hard Rock Cafe for entertainment. Loved Miss Olive Oyl for the food and the view. The staff was great. Bikes are available free of charge and the snorkeling gear. We saw stingrays, black tip sharks (small ones) and different types of fish around the water by our room. They even had cake and nonalcoholic bubly for our early anniversary. I would go back again.

Property it self was nice, not the nicest beaches but they were ok! Saii Lagoon next to it Had Best beaches which they share and you can go as well, Bufete its a no no! we ate at Terra Mar which was much better!
bartenders at pool side Suck! hard to get a drink on pool side they are not on top of it! multiple times i waited for a while before anyone even look back! they had music playing so they couldnt hear me, other ppl had same issue we just waited until someone looked back! managers need to look in to this issue! not selling liquor = losing money + unhappy cistumer

The facilities at the Hard Rock hotel were amazing, we stayed in the Gold Villa with a private pool, which lead to the ocean. Calm seas. The choices and quality of the restaurants was very good. We particularly loved the beach club in the Marina, which had a swim up bar and poolside restaurant.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to this time. Our experience at Hard Rock Maldives was absolutely flawless from start to finish. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of—even on the morning of our 5am departure, we were surprised with a delicious breakfast delivered right to our room.

A special shoutout to Ibrahim, who went above and beyond throughout our stay. He was always available with a friendly smile, ready to drive us around the island in the buggy whenever we needed. The bicycles were also such a fun and relaxing way to explore the resort.

And let’s not forget the food—every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. This resort truly knows how to deliver a luxury experience. Can’t wait to return!

We got all included package but not all restaurants were included. Also you need to book dinner always in advance, if not you cant eat in the place.
Menu is not open, you have limited options and one main course per person.

Literally a dream holiday

Everything was perfect; the overwater villas, the sea, the nature, the food, all were fantastic. Kishmore helped us during our check-in and check-out. Him and all other band members were very kind to us throughout our stay. There was a big variety of retaurants and we tried to taste most of them. Using the application Stay was helpful to be in sync with what's going on every day. The sea, the fish, tye sky and all the colors were very beautiful, even better than how they look in the promotional photos.

The only rexommendation I can give would be to have better speed of internet. The wifi was very slow indeed.

I would very much like to come back to this resort in the future. 5 days were definitely not enough for Maldives and Hard Rock.

The Hard Rock Hotel is great. Clean, with natural beauty, and cheerful staff. The only hiccup is when we got there, late in the day, the dining options seemed to be limited, and the hotel app, was kinda clunky, with restaurant bookings. I was frustrated. We had not eaten since before noon and we were not too happy about the general lack of immediate food. Every restaurant seemed to require reservations, and the app was, as I said, clunky. I walked to reception and kindly asked if we could order a Red Cross emergency food drop by helicopter outside our bungalow. The nice guy there got us in at the Hard Rock restaurant without reservations. It all turned out well and we were soon happy. Everything else at the hotel afterwards was great, when we got into the swing of things. It’s a really nice place indeed.

If you have a midnight flight out from Male, consider visiting the city of Male in the late afternoon. Yes, the city is a dump, but it does have its own little charm. The people there are really great. I had motorcyclists stop in the middle of the road for fear they would ruin a picture I was taking. Extremely nice people indeed. Walk around the fish and vegetable market and pick up some snacks. Overall it was worth the quick visit. There is also a mosque made of coral in Male. Worth a look. We couldn’t go in because it was some sort of Muslim holiday or something. We took a taxi from the airport to town and another taxi back again. We had fun with this little excursion.

It was a wonderful stay. Only thing I missed was having a decent depth of water to get into from my overfloat villa. The water level was very low making the swimming experience weak. Also. the view was blocked with other islands structure and not a 360 sea view around.

Do not scuba or snorkel around this property. It’s a complete rip off as there’s no corals or fish. Just rocks and dead coral. However we for swinmming and photo shoots it’s excellent. Apart from that , this isn’t really a 5star so expect a utilitarian vibe. Even the staff are casual and not professionals. They could use some training and better uniforms instead of roaming around in dirty t shirts and slippers. Food is bland and over priced.

La cálida bienvenida de Alex Tung en el check-in marcó la pauta para toda la estancia: su amabilidad y atención al detalle fueron inigualables, y nos hizo sentir muy especiales en nuestro aniversario tan importante.

El late checkout hasta las 3 pm fue una ventaja increíble, dándonos tiempo extra para disfrutar de la belleza de este paraíso sin prisas. Nos encantaron las actividades complementarias, especialmente las sesiones de yoga gratuitas cada mañana que renovaron nuestro espíritu y el kayak en el mar, que nos ofreció vistas impresionantes de las aguas cristalinas. Fue una forma única de explorar el océano y conectar verdaderamente con la naturaleza.

Los desayunos en el hotel fueron simplemente espectaculares. La variedad era impresionante, con opciones deliciosas para todos los gustos, y la frescura de cada plato hizo que las mañanas fueran algo que esperar con ansias.
