Spa experience can be improved. Similar hotels in the area have excellent spa areas and services. This hotels spa is rather a small left over space with minimal decoration and aura. Prices are quite high compared to facility.

Nice Property With Awesome View

It is a nice place to sta. Beautiful landscape and view. Rooms are neat not luxury ones but good to stay.
Only think which needs improvement is the menue of buffet Lunch and Dinner, After two meals it becomes very repetitive.

Nice Resort

Nice place to relax. Lots of chairs and hammocks around. Very beautiful water. Couple of beaches to relax on. During low tide, shallow enough for children to play in.

The rooms were nice and clean. Keep in mind, you may see occasional ants or cockroachs in them, just how nature works. If that bothers you, bring a can of roach spray (I'm sure most resorts have this issue)

Food was average. A mixture of Western Food and local food. Not really that impressed. Water was reasonably priced at 3 USD per 1.5 liters.

Staff were good in my opinion.

Seperate dive shop on the Island. Didn't dive, but the prices for the snorkel and kayak rentsl were reasonable. Though I realized they overcharged me for a kayak. Pay attention to the prices when paying at the dive shop which is not part of the resort.

No coral around the island, it's all been destroyed, so that distracts from the beauty but some fish can be seen.

Rooms very basic and smaller than expected (believe they were advertised as 41sqm but appear to be around 25sqm max), hard beds and very dark as you will need lights on even during the day. No sound proofing at all, making you hear every word spoken next door. Not the most relaxing environment.

Not a fan of the sharing tables policy which may pair you up with strangers for all meals - seems to be quite common in the Maledives. Food quality and choice is good.

The island however and the beaches are beautiful, never feels crowded with plenty of space to lounge around and relax. Amazing house reef for snorkeling as well.

Great budget Maldives resort

I've been to many resorts in the Maldives (I used to work as a professional hotel reviewer), and Embudu Village is easily the best bang for your buck.

Pros:
AMAZING snorkeling and reef
Great Beginners Reef Diving course with good instructor
Affordable spa services and excursions (compared to the competition)
Beautiful beaches with plenty of shade and privacy
Laid back, unpretentious vibe
They decorate your bed and table for your birthday (without you having to ask)
Rooms now include beach towels
Free Wi-Fi

Cons:
Hard mattress that hurt my back by the fourth day
It was often hard to find help at the watersports and dive center
SUP boards need new paddles
Food is mediocre and desserts are barely edible

Good stay, expensive drinks and mediocre staff

The best part of this stay was the island, clean and beautiful, quiet and private. The snorkelling was fantastic, even if the reef is not in good condition. We swam with turtles, sharks, mantas and many fish. The transfer wasn't perfect, very expensive (75 dollars per person) and one of the trips wasn't with a speedboat as planned, so it took 1 hour. The room is lovely and very clean, but it's not a luxury room if you are looking for that. The buffet is good, but not various. The variety of fruit was very disappointing, few kinds of fruit in a tropical place was ridiculous. There are some activities like tours, snorkelling, fishing, but they are not very good explained. Sometimes some staff member seemed a bit invasive. The drinks were not included, and they are very expensive.

A hidden gem in the Maldives!

What a hidden gem in paradise! I wish I could say bad things about this place so it would stay a hidden gem, but it would be far from the truth! This is not a luxurious hotel by any means but it has everything you need for a wonderful, relaxing vacation. The reef and beaches are absolutely stunning, and the overall ambience of the hotel is charming and quaint. After a few days you think to yourself, \"it does feel like a small village\". The staff is very friendly and rooms clean and maintained fresh. The water bungalow upgrade is 100% worth it as you get beautiful views of the ocean and a pretty cool view down below (we saw an octopus go by below us as we were getting ready for bed one night). I could not say better things about this fantastic place. The food is good and changes every night, the staff is friendly, the dive shop is amazing, and excursions to choose from. I read this from another person's review and after going, I could not agree more. Embudu Village is: a 3 star hotel, with 4 star staff, in a 5 star location.

Pros: the views were incredible, the resort easy to get to, there were a range of tours/activities and by just walking along the beach you were guaranteed close up views of little sharks. The room was clean and the porch area nice.

Cons: the food wasn't amazing (every meal was a buffet) and there seemed to be a lack of fresh fruit.

Overall: perfect if you want a few days in the Maldives without breaking the bank.

Peaceful hotel in a small island

I especially enjoyed the theme dinners, every evening different kind of food. Even though you had to sit in the same table for the whole time. Also the bar was great, nice staff and good variety of drinks. Place is probably best for the snorkelers, but I cannot say for sure, because I didn't try it. The swimming conditions were not the best, a bit too shallow waters. Nothing to complain about the room, unless you want to have a tv, which was not part of the interior.

Great place for money and location

The place was great location not far from airport. When looking at hotels around here check to see how far away from airport some can be 4 hour boat ride away this is 15 minutes speed boat away and 35 minutes slow boat. This is really nice scenery but not a 5 star resort. You might have to walk to the bar to get drinks no service all around island. Wifi only in lobby might want to grab a local cell chip with data only $25 and should last a week stay you can use anywhere on island.

Personale sempre gentile e disponibile e accogliente. Escursioni previste dalla struttura e dal diving molto belle Ma forse un po’ limitate. Camere spaziose isola non molto grande e mai caotica. Buffet sempre ricco e abbondante di tipo internazionale per tutti i gusti. Alcune stanze sono un po’ più interne e non sulla spiaggia.

島の大きさに反し、大きなハウスリーフとキレイな砂浜が特徴のリゾート。プールは、無い。また、部屋にTVも無い。

砂浜は、キレイだが、海に入ると落ち葉や枯れ枝が、沢山海中にある。キレイな海なのに残念であった。

部屋は、良く掃除されていた。大きな殺虫スプレーがあり、これを撒くと、あちこちに虫が落ちて来た。バスルームの窓口を、開けると虫が入る様だ。

ダイビングセンターのWebサイトがあり、翌日の案内や、ダイビングポイントの説明が詳細に載っているのが、とても良いと思われた。
比較的安いリゾートで、もっぱらダイビング、シュノーケリングに専念したい人には良いと思われた。

Non mi piace che nelle immagini si vede ancora la lunga lingua di sabbia bianca che purtroppo non c'è piu in quanto erosa dal mare.

Buon compromesso qualità-prezzo. L'isola è parzialmente erosa, sono presenti muretti e scogli per salvare il salvabile ma le spiagge sono veramente limitate e non hanno più il fascino dei colori tipici delle Maldive. I bungalow sono divisi in più camere, semplici ma funzionali. Il punto forte del resort è sicuramente la barriera corallina, che sul lato più ventoso dell'isola è molto vicina e permette di nuotare con una spettacolare varietà di pesci.

Dejlig ø, godt hotel og rigtig god service. Fine værelser lige ud til stranden, god buffet og bar. Mangler måske en lille kiosk med snacks, drikkevarer og is.
Flotte fisk kan ses både fra strandkanten, snorkel og dykning. Vi var så heldige at se Manta Rays. Små sorttippede revhajer patruljerede ved strandkanten hele vejen rundt om øen.

到着が遅れ夕食の時間に間に合わず…でしたが、気を遣って頂き夕食を食べていいよと言ってくれました。ありがたかったです。
テーブルについてくれたスタッフも気さくで、毎日折紙を折ってプレゼントりと楽しませてくれました。
毎日シュノーケリングをしましたが、沢山の色とりどりの魚が見れました！ベビーシャークやカメ、タコ、ウツボ、マンタも時々見られたりと飽きなかったです。

Molto bello il resort tutta la struttura è stata recentemente rinnovata, bello il reef con molti pesci,le spiagge sono di diverse dimensioni purtroppo si vede l'effetto dell'innalzamento dell'acqua infatti la lingua di sabbia non esiste più al suo posto rimane una grande spiaggia,il cibo è discreto molto buoni i dolci,tutto lo staff è molto gentile.

シンプルで気楽な心地よいホテルでした。

2019年のGWに行った初めてのモルディブでした。GWだったので日本人は私たちの他10組くらいいらっしゃいました。客層はファミリーからお一人まで様々でした。ホテルのある島はこじんまりとしてちょうどいい大きさでした。ビーチコテージに7泊しました。シンプルな部屋でしたが、掃除はきれいに行き届いていたと思います。バスタブはありませんでした。ビーチタオル、シャンプー、ボディウオッシュ、石鹸１つは備え付けてありました。水はビンのボトル（１L)に一日2本もらえます。湯沸かしポットがあったので、毎日紅茶を飲んでいました。冷蔵庫も空っぽですが、レストランで大きな1.5L入りの水を買うことができます。レストランの人たちや客室の清掃担当の人たちはとても感じよく接してもらいました。
シュノーケル目的で行ったのですが、残念ながらサンゴはほとんど死んでしまっていましたが、魚は大小色々見ることができ、また数も非常に多かったです。
チェックイン時に日本語のホテルや海での説明が書かれている紙をもらうのですが、それに海へ行く際の注意や説明を18時からフロントでやりますあったので、行ってみたのですが、行ってみると「ドイツ語でしかありません。分からないことはダイビングルームまで聞きに行ってください」と言われました。英語での説明があると思っていたので残念でした。

Ile hôtel sympa, chambre grande et propre, sympa d'avoir 2 b d'eau par jour.
Rasheed très sympa nous a changé de chambre selon notre souhait.
Au niveau marin : corail blanchit mais pareil pour toutes les iles des Maldives. Par contre faune aquatique extra. Tortues, muraines, requins pointes noires, requins pointes blanches, poulpes, et bien sur tous les poissons colorés des Maldives petits et grands.
Les deux points noirs de cet hôtel à notre avis sont :
1/ la dureté des matelas (pb ds toutes les chambres).
2/ les consommations (pas d'eau à table ds la pension complète). Surtout soyez très attentif à signer à chaque fois le reçu de vos consommations et bien garder ce reçu, car le boss du bar et les serveurs n'hésitent pas à vous compter 2 fois les boissons (ils fonctionnent sur un carnet A3 sur lequel chaque serveur note les boissons consommés par chambre et cela varie bcp en fonction des serveurs, bref comme le système n'est pas informatisé, il faut palabrer pdt des heurs pour justifier ou non d'une consommation non prise ou prise) donc résumé bien garder vos tickets de boisson si vous n'êtes pas en all inclusive.

お友達からの紹介で初めての利用でしたが大変満足できるものでした。
お部屋は1日2回のお掃除に入ってくださり気持ちよく過ごせました。
お食事も毎回お料理が変わりとても美味しかったです。
お部屋の前が海でお魚がたくさん泳いでいるのが見えました。
スタッフの方達もフレンドリーで特にレストランの担当の方は飲み物は足りているか度々聞きに来てくださいました。
また機会があれば利用したいです。

Stunning island, a real paradise!
The bungalows were OK, nothing fancy, but clean. I didn't sleep very well though during my 7-night stay because of the super hard mattrasses, the fruit bats feasting over my roof the whole night which was extremely loud and the ants in my room that even made it into my bed.
The staff was so lovely and friendly, the food was spectacular and the island itself was the most beautiful place you can imagine, so it was a pleasant stay overall.

Villaggio non lontano dall'isola di Male, circa 30 minuti. Isola di media grandezza. Sono ben organizzati sotto tutti i punti di vista. Camere semplici, con armadio piccolo e bagno con bella doccia. Tante piccole spiagge che spargono i clienti in modo da non essere affolate, tranne la brllissima lingua di sabbia. Ottimo ristorante, camerieri gentilissimi.

A very nice hotel close to Male island

A very nice all-inclusive hotell with okay prices. The service is top, and the management always try to do the best to please you. I got late checkout and free lunch without paying anything the last day.

The island is a quiet and peaceful place, only 30 minutes with a boat from Male island. Nice to snorcle, although the corals around the island is more or less dead. The hotel arrange bout trips to snorcle other places: costs ca.20-40 usd.

I stayed at “bungalow” nr.55, witch is 2 meters from the sea. Good WiFi in the island and in the room. Good air con and fan, refrigerator and a big bathroom.

The food is prima, and you got a variable buffet at all meals. The kitchen is clean and the food is vary safe to eat.

All in all I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel.

Un'ottimo compromesso qualità/prezzo, l'isola è piccola ma bellissima e ben tenuta, molto ricca di vita sott'acqua e anche al di fuori senza dover fare per forza escursioni. La pulizia è essenziale, le camere sono semplici ma confortevoli.
La cucina non ci ha impressionato ma da italiani è difficile essere totalmente soddisfatti. Lo staff è gentile e non invadente. Il wifi un po' dispendioso ma funziona bene, cosa non essenziale comunque!

Siamo stati 3 giorni in questo villaggio a metà gennaio. Valido il rapporto qualità/prezzo. L'atollo è piccolo, con alcuni angoli veramente belli. Camere ampie, comode. Contrariamente a quanto c'è scritto su internet ci sono bagnoschiuma e shampo. Bisogna scegliere le camere dall'uno al cinquanta, perchè le altre hanno un accesso al mare più difficoltoso. Non vengono forniti teli mare. Il giardino è poco illuminato, utile portarsi una torcia. Il ristorante è un pò affollato e rumoroso, ben rifornito e complessivamente buono il buffet. E' presente un piccolo negozio, con prezzi doppi rispetto a Malè.
Il mare è ricco di pesci, molto interessante lo snorkeling, bisogna fare molta attenzione alle correnti, che rendono difficile talvolta il ritorno a terra. Vengono organizzate escursioni in barca. Ottimo il servizio di collegamento con Malè.

Sehr sauber und geräumige Bungalows

Bungalow sind sehr sauber und ein geräumiges Bad vorhanden.
Essen war vorzüglich und abwechslungsreich.
Die Fischbestände am Riff sind sehr gut, allerdings ist auch hier die Algenbleiche sehr ausgeprägt.
Wir hatten aber trotzdem schöne Schnorchltouren gehabt.

perfetto per lo snorkeling

certamente una sorpresa più che positiva; a un prezzo accessibile rispetto agli standard elevati delle isole-resort delle Maldive, Embudu offre una barriera accessibile da riva, che circonda tutta l'isola, e regala una fauna marina incredibile; inoltre la laguna e le spiagge permettono la vita da spiaggia anche a chi non predilige necessariamente lo snorkeling.
altri vantaggi: è a soli 25' di speed boat da Malè; il diving offre escursioni buone; le stanze sono semplici e pulite, confortevoli ma certamente non lussuose (se cercate il lusso, non fa per voi); il ristorante è vario e all'altezza.
